Last Friday, GMA put together a live wedding ceremony during its Valentine’s Day edition of the show.
The couple Daniel Alexandre and Chaseedaw Giles appeared on the show during a live TV segment, and weathercaster Sam Champion interviewed the two about their relationship.
All of a sudden, Daniel got down on one knee and proposed to Chaseedaw, who said yes in an emotional sequence.
Strahan then made his presence known and hosted their wedding.
Then, Daniel, who’s the dad of four young children, told his bride Chaseedaw that her family and friends were in the studio to witness the two taking their vows.
Champion officiated the wedding, while Strahan and co-host Lara Spencer had their roles in the ceremony.
Strahan then stunned the couple with a honeymoon and told them they would be traveling to The Cayman Island for six nights at a lavish hotel.
Social media users reacted to the segment, sharing their approval of the ceremony scene which involved Strahan.
“This is absolutely beautiful. I’m home watching and crying,” one commented.
