14-Year-Old ‘Superstar’ Slays Blind Audition & Amazes ‘The Voice’ Coaches (VIDEO)
Rocker Vinya Chhabra got three coaches on “The Voice” to turn their chairs for her during the Blind Auditions that aired on October 6, 2025. Reba McEntire, Michael Bublé, and Snoop Dogg loved her strong vocals as she belted out Alanis Morissette’s “Ironic.”

When Chhabra revealed she was just 14 years old, McEntire said, “You know, it’s funny, Michael and I were looking at each other and he was going, ‘Is she young?’ I said, ‘I think so!’ But what a powerhouse!”
Snoop Dogg Tells Vinya Chhabra on ‘The Voice’ She Has ‘Superstar Quality’
Chhabra, who hails from New Jersey, is serious about music — specifically rock music. She was classically trained and has starred in multiple local theater productions, but her true love is rock. Chhabra sings lead vocals for a band of her peers, but she can also play drums, guitar, piano, ukulele, bass guitar, and cello, per Backstage.
She told producers before her audition, “This opportunity is so insane to have. I think there needs to be more women in rock. I hope to inspire young girls that want to be rockers.”
Bublé said he had to turn for a song by fellow Canadian Morissette, noting that he was harmonizing with Chhabra as she sang. He and fellow coach Niall Horan began to sing it again, and Chhabra chimed in.
Clearly impressed, Bublé said, “Vinya, a great man — Carson Daly — once said, ‘We need more rock on this show!’ And here it is.”
“Yeah, baby, I’m rockin’ out,” Snoop interjected. “I’m from the era of rock, rap, alternative all being meshed together. You give me the spirit — when I was to you, I was like, ‘Man, she sounds young but that voice sounds powerful.’ Then when I turned around and seen you said you’re 14 years old? You pack a powerful punch at your age!”
He continued, “And the way you handle this, like this, like you’re not nervous, you’re not afraid. You’re just taking it in. That’s superstar quality.”

After the three coaches who did turn for Chhabra had spoken, Niall told her, “I’m kicking myself. I cannot believe the power that you have.”
“I was 16 when I came on a show like this and I was a nervous wreck,” Horan said, referencing his audition on “The X Factor” in the U.K., where he became part of the global sensation One Direction. “And you’re the complete opposite!”
After conferring with her parents onstage, Chhabra chose McEntire as her coach, which shocked the country superstar, who said she was “thrilled to pieces.”
