Adam David Reveals What’s Next After Winning ‘The Voice’ 27
The live finale of “The Voice” season 27 aired on May 22 and it was revealed at the end of the night that Adam David from Michael Bublé’s team was the winner.
“I was hoping that my name would be called,” David told TV Insider after his win. As for what he’s doing next, he said, “I want to put out some music and go on tour. I want to play. I want to play for audiences and not, you know, empty rooms.”

Bublé said of his second time winning as a Coach, “Not one person who has ever sat in that red chair doesn’t have a killer instinct. We all want to win. Sometimes, I think there’s a bigger personal stake than others.”
“Adam and I have become really close. I was heavily invested in our friendship. I was [ultimately] much less worried about me not winning than I was just wanting my buddy to win,” Bublé added.
David also expressed interest in speaking to the kids at an art camp he used to attend and told future hopefuls, “Don’t stop. No matter what instrument you play, you bring something to the world that the world needs. Keep playing. Build a connection.”

Bublé Gave David All the Credit For Winning ‘The Voice’
Bublé helped David make it to the season 27 finale of “The Voice” but he gave his Artist all the credit. “I am going to tell you right now, I have nothing to do with it. Zero. We’re friends. I’m not his coach; I’m not his teacher. He’s a killer musician,” he told Parade.
“He knows exactly what he’s doing. He has all the talent and ambition in the world. I think more than anything, he needed a partner, a friend to help sometimes lift him up when he was having doubts,” the “Save the Last Dance For Me” singer added.
Bublé recalled of the Blind Auditions, “No joke, I remember distinctly there being about 15 or 10 seconds left on the clock as Adam’s Blind Audition song [‘Baby I Love Your Way’] was winding down and I was saying to the other coaches, ‘Please don’t turn, don’t turn.’”
“I didn’t want him to get stolen. Then, when it happened, the second I got him, I ran backstage and I said, ‘I just got my guy on my team,’” he shared.

The native Canadian also credits folks in the United States for their part in music. “America has great taste. They really do,” Bublé said. “The thing that I am tripping out about more than anything is knowing how important those people feel about their vote. It’s not thrown away. It gives you confidence in your own taste.”
