Chance the Rapper and wife Kirsten Corley have called it quits after five years of marriage.
The Voice judge and Kirsten posted a joint statement on their Instagram Story on Wednesday. The statement says: “After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways. We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the same time we spent together. God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together. We kindly ask for privacy and respect as we navigate this transition. Thank you.”
The two tied-the-knot in 2019 and have two daughters together, Kensli, 7, and Marli, 4.

According to People, Kirsten and Chance, whose real name is Chancelor Bennett, met when Chance was nine- years-old at their mothers Christmas party. They began dating in 2013 and became parents to their first daughter Kensli in 2015. They then separated in 2016 before getting back together a year later.
Chance proposed to Kirsten in 2018 at a backyard Independence Day celebration surrounded by their loved ones and announced on social media that exact day. They got married at at the Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, California and their guest list included Dave Chapelle, Kim Kardashian and others. Since, the two have stepped out together in several red carpets like the METGala, New York Fashion Week and The Lion King.

The two try to keep their family life out of the public eye. But occasionally, the two have given fans a sneak peek on what their life was together. The last time Chance posted Kirsten was in May 2023, when he shared a carousel of photos of them and he wished her a Happy Mothers Day.
Kirsten is the CEO of a children’s clothing line named World of BOBY. According to the brand’s website, World of BOBY was “born out of the desire to see more representation and inclusivity in the kids’ apparel space.” Kirsten has also modeled for several brands like Alexander Wang, Shleby Steiner and Vogue, according to Fashion Public Magazine.
Chance has been in the music industry since 2012 after he released his debut mixtape 10 Day. The “No Problems” rapper has released one studio album and five mixtapes. He has also been featured in many songs with other artist.
