[BREAKING NEWS] ‘The Voice’ gets a twist for the season 27 Battle Rounds — as the show reveals Epic Lineup of Celebrity Battle Advisors
‘The Voice’ Fans, the Show Is Bringing Epic Celebrity Advisors to the Battle Rounds
The NBC series revealed the star-studded lineup of Battle Advisors for season 27.

Hold up The Voice fans — it looks like we just got a major twist that hasn’t been seen on the show in SO long!
As The Voice season 27 wrapped up its Blind Auditions on March 3, fans are now ready to get into the highly-anticipated Battle Rounds portion of the season. While folks are prepared to see contestants duke it out vocally for the chance to continue on in the competition, the show decided they’d bring back something that hasn’t been seen since season 22 back in September 2022.
As NBC announced on March 3, coaches Kelsea Ballerini, Michael Bublé, Adam Levine and John Legend are all going to have celebrity advisors helping them out in this stage of The Voice. As for who will help mentor during the Battle Rounds, it’s quite an incredible group of stars. Oscar nominee Cynthia Erivo will work with Team Michael, country group Little Big Town will help out Team Kelsea, Coco Jones will assist Team Legend and actress/singer Kate Hudson will sit alongside Team Adam over the next few episodes.
“Our advisors are bringing the heat to BATTLES! ⚔️,” read the caption when The Voice shared sneak peek images on Instagram. “Don’t miss #TheVoice — watch @nbc on @peacock.”
When viewers realized a well-loved element of The Voice Battle Rounds was coming back into play, they couldn’t hold back their elation in the comments.
“INCREDIBLE GROUP. 🔥🔥🔥,” one person exclaimed. “This is sooo crazyy 😭😭😭,” another agreed. “Great advisors this season!” a different follower added.
We absolutely agree — this was a twist we definitely didn’t see coming for The Voice season 27!
Now the last time we saw something like this, it was a different set of coaches in season 22 (John was on at the time, working alongside Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Camila Cabello). But while we don’t know who’s going to make it past the Battle Rounds, it’s cool to see something people loved be revived for a new set of music hopefuls.
