In PEOPLE’s exclusive sneak peek at the June 4 episode of Busy Philipps’ QVC+ late-night talk show, Busy This Week, the This Is Us alum, 44, revealed that competing as the Poodle Moth on season 11 of The Masked Singer was “the hardest thing I think I’ve ever done.”
“I’m not kidding,” she added. “They had asked me several years to do it and I was like, ‘There’s no way. I can barely breathe or walk and talk at the same time. Like, I can’t do this.'”
“So then they’re like, ‘Oh, we have to give you the heaviest, hottest, biggest costume,'” Metz continued of when she finally said yes to the show. “I was like, ‘Great. Cool, cool, cool.'”

Metz went on to come in fourth place, with High School Musical alum Vanessa Hudgens going on to win as the goldfish.
Despite how tough she found The Masked Singer to be, Metz said her “dream” is to outwit, outplay and outlast on the beaches of Fiji playing one of the original competition reality shows: Survivor.
“If I had my dream druthers and I was a very different person, it would be Survivor,” Metz told Philipps when asked what reality show she’d most like to go on next. “I’m obsessed with Survivor.”

Philipps then shares her reality TV fantasy, saying, “I think that I would play The Amazing Race and I think I would win.”
Metz is supportive, calling the Girls5eva actress “charming,” “smart” and “clever” before Philipps reveals what she believes is her hidden superpower, saying, “And I can drive stick shift.”
“No, that’s the thing,” Metz said. “I literally said, I was like, ‘I have to learn to drive a stick shift and maybe [become] conversational in a lot of languages would be helpful.'”
Busy This Week drops new episodes every Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET.
