‘Jeopardy!’ and ‘Wheel of Fortune’ preempted; how to watch game shows

“Jeopardy!” and “Wheel of Fortune” were not shown at their regularly scheduled times in New York on Wednesday, Oct. 8.
That’s because Channel 7 presented live coverage of the second New Jersey gubernatorial debate from 7 to 8 p.m.

Your WABC-TV game-show favorites will be shown back-to-back starting at 3:05 a.m.
Thursday morning, so it’s a good time to set your DVRs – or set your alarm for an early start to the day!
And fear not, the preemption is for one night only. “Jeopardy!” and “Wheel of Fortune” will be back at their normal times on Thursday evening.

As for the debate, Democrat Mikie Sherrill and Republican Jack Ciattarelli will face off in their second matchup.
Eyewitness News anchor Bill Ritter and WPVI-TV anchor Tamala Edwards will moderate the debate from the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

The debate will be broadcast live on both WABC-TV and WPVI-TV Channel 6 in Philadelphia.
There will be simultaneous streaming on all digital platforms including abc7ny.com and 6abc.com mobile apps, and streaming channels as well as ABC News Live. WXTV Univision 41 New York will livestream the debate with Spanish captions.
