Kelly Clarkson Fans Scream “FINALLY!” About the Singer’s Surprise ‘Voice’ Announcement
The Kelly Clarkson Show is revisiting an old TV competition haunt — and viewers will love it.

Kelly Clarkson fans, you’re gonna want to pay attention to this surprising piece of news.
It’s been four seasons since The Kelly Clarkson Show host last appeared as a coach on The Voice, and fans love to see her pop up on the show when she can. Well, it looks like she’ll be doing just that for The Voice season 27 finale on Tuesday, May 20 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC — and it’s in a way viewers are going to love.
According to a report from Deadline on May 10, Kelly will be one of the famous faces performing during the final episode of the NBC series’ latest season. The outlet writes she’ll be on hand to sing her new single “Where Have You Been,” which debuted for folks to listen to one week earlier.

When fans discovered Kelly will be back in Los Angeles to be on The Voice stage, they were over the moon.
“OMGGGGG FINALLYYYYYY,” one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “Where have you been, Kelly? 😉,” another jokingly inquired. “Kelly! Yay!!!” a different follower exclaimed.
If Kelly’s news about performing during The Voice season 27 finale isn’t enough for you, it turns out she’s not the only former coach making an appearance during the broadcast. Blake Shelton, Alicia Keys and Chance the Rapper will all be in attendance as well, where each will be singing songs from their various musical catalogs.
Now, fans may remember this isn’t the first time Kelly has been on The Voice stage since she left to focus on her music and The Kelly Clarkson Show. She previously made an appearance during the season 26 finale back in December 2024, where she sang her holiday single, “You for Christmas.” And while we don’t know if this means she’ll be back on The Voice as a coach in the future, we’re still so excited to tune in.
