‘Young Sheldon’ Actor Makes Bold Statement About His Co-Star
You can’t really blame the guy for feeling this way.

Just because they played brothers on Young Sheldon doesn’t mean Montana Jordan and Iain Armitage do everything together off-screen. In fact, there’s one activity in particular that Jordan isn’t willing to participate in with his former co-star at all.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jordan, 22, and Emily Osment, 33 — who both star in the Young Sheldon spinoff Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage — opened up about the possibility of Armitage, 16, appearing on the show.
“I don’t know! He’s at Caltech,” Osment pointed out.
“Off at college right now,” Jordan agreed, adding, “We’d love to have him. Right now I think he’s traveling.”
“He’s a pilot now,” Osment interjected, with Jordan going on to explain that Armitage is in Africa, noting he travels “all over the place” with his family.

“We were about to have hiatus on Young Sheldon one year, and they was asking me what I was doing and I was like, ‘Oh, I’m just going back to Texas’ and I asked them and I think they were going to Asia or something,” Jordan recalled, joking, “I was like, a vacation for me is going to Galveston.”
When the interviewer suggested that maybe Armitage could fly Jordan somewhere, he didn’t seem too thrilled with the idea.
“He does have his pilot’s license now,” he acknowledged before declaring, “I would never…his ass ain’t flying me!”
Even if Jordan isn’t planning on boarding a plane with his TV brother in the cockpit anytime soon, Armitage told People in October 2024 that he’d already flown a plane with his mother and grandmother as passengers.
“I just got my pilot’s license, or my student pilot’s license,” he revealed at the time, adding, “I hopefully will get my private [pilot ’s license] when I’m 17.”
