Get Ready Reba McEntire Fans — the Star Just Gave an Exciting Update About ‘Happy’s Place’
We’re heading back to Tennessee, y’all!

Reba McEntire’s hit sitcom Happy’s Place got renewed for season 2 in February 2025.
Reba revealed on June 27 that Happy’s Place was officially filming new episodes for season 2.
Reba’s co-star Melissa Peterman also shared her thoughts on Happy’s Place going back into production.
It’s time to head back to Tennessee, y’all, because Happy’s Place is officially back in production!
The hit NBC sitcom starring Reba McEntire debuted back in October 2024, and fans were immediately drawn into the premise of a bar owner (Reba) learning she had a much younger half-sister (played by Belissa Escobedo). The two slowly get to know one another, surrounded by a quirky group of co-workers (including Melissa Peterman and Rex Linn) who help keep Happy’s Place together.
Clearly the concept was well-received by viewers, as Happy’s Place got renewed for season 2 back in February. Now, thanks to the latest update from the show, it looks like the cast is back on set to film new episodes. And if that’s not enough, Reba went on Instagram to share a joint post documenting the first days of shooting the all-new installment.
“Y’all ready for another round? 🥹 🍻,” the caption read on June 27.

Well, we’re certainly thrilled to see everyone back together! And even though we don’t yet know when Happy’s Place season 2 will premiere, Reba wasn’t the only one excited to be back for a new installment.
Just days before, on June 25, Melissa shared her own take on being back for Happy’s Place season 2. And judging by her Instagram post, it seems like she’s more than ready to be back behind the bar.
“Back at my Happy Place!!” she wrote in the caption. “Season 2! Look Ma! They painted the name on the stage!!”
