As is tradition, CNN correspondent Anderson Cooper rang in the New Year with his best friend and Bravo host Andy Cohen. The pair are known for hosting the CNN New Year’s Eve Live show and interviewing celebrities.

A unique aspect of this special is that both Andy and Anderson start taking shots of liquor every hour beginning at 8 p.m.

Throughout the evening, as their sobriety dwindled, Andy and Anderson let slip some rather candid remarks. While they were busy hosting a special event, they encountered an unexpected interruption—the rain.

Initially, without umbrellas, Andy quipped about their situation, but eventually, they found solace under a transparent one. Amid the downpour, Andy commented, “The rain is really coming down. It’s no joke.”

He peered at Anderson to inquire, “Is this the hardest it’s going to fall or it’s going to get worse?”

In a light-hearted tone, Anderson responded with humor, cautioning Andy not to tempt fate by mentioning the weather, saying, “Do you know that you’re not supposed to talk about things like that? Because obviously it’s only encouraging the weather gods to make it worse.”
