For six seasons, Reba McEntire played Reba Hart on her self-titled show. She had been married to Brock Hart, played by Christopher Rich until he had an affair with his dental hygenist, Barbra Jean. Brock then married BJ (Melissa Peterman) and they went on to have a baby. At the same time, Brock and Reba’s teenage daughter, Cheyenne, also had a baby so they had to figure out how to manage their blended family. By the end of Season 6, they were a complete unit, despite the dysfunction. The cast maintained a close friendship, being family on and off the air.

When Reba launched her new series, Happy’s Place, it was originally thought to be a Reba reboot. Melissa Peterman signed on but eventually, it was shifted to something else. It has since become a smash hit for NBC, being renewed for Season 2. Their former co-star, Steve Howey made a guest appearance. Then, Christopher Rich joined in on the fun. He played a tattoo artist named Maverick and fans loved seeing the reunion. Now, Reba is revealing how Christopher is actually connected to her beyond television.
