JoAnna Garcia Swisher Talks Reuniting with Reba McEntire on Happy’s Place Season 2
Fans of the beloved sitcom Reba are in for a nostalgic treat — JoAnna Garcia Swisher is officially joining Season 2 of NBC’s comedy Happy’s Place, reuniting with her former TV mom, Reba McEntire.

Swisher, best known for playing Cheyenne Hart on Reba, will guest star as Kenzie, a Knoxville-based social media influencer hired to promote Happy’s Place in a new marketing campaign.
But her arrival doesn’t sit well with Bobbie (McEntire), the bar’s co-owner, setting the stage for some hilarious tension Variety.
In a recent interview, Swisher shared her excitement: “Getting to work with Reba again feels like coming home. We had such a special bond on Reba, and stepping onto the set of Happy’s Place brought back so many memories — but with a fresh twist.”

The reunion marks another milestone for Happy’s Place, which has already featured appearances from other Reba alumni, including Steve Howey.
Swisher’s guest role is expected to bring both comedy and heart to the new season, premiering November 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and streaming the next day on Peacock Variety TV Insider.
Swisher, who currently stars in Netflix’s Sweet Magnolias, added, “Kenzie is such a fun character — she’s bubbly, ambitious, and just a little chaotic. I can’t wait for fans to see how she shakes things up.”

With this reunion, Happy’s Place continues to blend fresh storylines with nostalgic charm, giving longtime fans of Reba something to cheer about — and a new generation of viewers a reason to tune in.
