Katy Perry May Have Just Acknowledged Her Rumored Romance with Justin Trudeau

Katy Perry and former Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau may not have hard launched their potential relationship yet, however, Katy may have acknowledged the romance during the first stop of her Lifetimes Tour in London on Monday, October 13.

In a TikTok video that was shared by someone who attended the show, the former “American Idol” judge is talking to a fan who has been brought onstage and asks, “What does your sign say?”

“I heard you’re single?” the fan replies, perhaps referring to Katy’s split from Orlando Bloom.

However, Katy responds by saying, “You heard I was single? That’s interesting.”

The fan then got down on one knee and showed the singer what was written on the sign he was holding, which read: “Katy Perry will you marry me?”

“I couldn’t read that high up! Are you kidding me? Not today,” Katy said rather emphatically. Then, seemingly referring to her recent time spent with Justin, she added, “You know you really should have asked me about 48 hours ago.”

Another video showed the fan being helped off stage as Katy says, “He’s just a little too late.”

Katy ‘Wasn’t Looking to Date’

Despite the fact that Katy may have been single following her break-up with Orlando, that doesn’t mean she was ready to immediately jump back into the dating scene. In fact, a source told People on October 13, “When she first hung out with Justin, she wasn’t looking to date, but they stayed in touch.”

While the source noted that Katy and Justin “have many shared interests and a lot of talk about,” they pointed out that “Katy was navigating too many things to even think about dating then.”

Justin Has Been ‘Pursuing’ Katy

Katy may not have been actively looking to date when she connected with Justin, however, he has apparently been feeling the opposite way.

Following the pair’s July date in Montreal which saw them enjoying dinner together, Justin has “been pursuing her since,” according to the source. “He even flew to California to see her during a tour break.”

That’s not to mention taking his 16-year-old daughter, Ella-Grace, to Katy’s concert.

Of course, there’s obviously a reason why Justin has been pursuing Katy. It seems like they might be a good match for each other. While talking to People, the source pointed out, “They have an easy connection. She finds him attractive. He’s been very respectful.”
