It’s been almost two years since Last Man Standing came to an end, and some fans are still missing their weekly dose of the Baxter family. While there are no signs of the beloved sitcom returning (again), one of its stars is returning to TV with an all-new series, and it looks so good.
Nancy Travis, who starred alongside Tim Allen as Vanessa Baxter, is returning to the small-screen in an all-new role on the Hallmark Channel series, Ride. She’s once again the matriarch of a family, but this time, the plot is very different.

Nancy stars as Isabel McMurray, the mother of three grown sons who heads up a renowned ranching family in Colorado. When tragedy strikes, Isabel must pick up the pieces and keep her family business going, all while dealing with her grief.
Nancy shared the trailer with her followers on Instagram, and they left supportive messages, like “Looks sooo good 👏🏼👏🏼 gave me chills” and “I’m so looking forward to this and something new to watch! ❤️❤️❤️.”
The series also stars Tiera Skovbye (Riverdale), Beau Mirchoff (Good Trouble), Sara Garcia (The Flash), Jake Foy (Designated Survivor), and Tyler Jacob Moore (Shameless).
