Maggie Sajak makes major career change after law school completion
Maggie Sajak has made a major career change after completing law school completion.

Maggie Sajak, daughter of former Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak, has earned her law license in California while maintaining her role as the game show’s social media correspondent.
Sajak, who expressed her approval of the show’s new host and gave viewers a behind the scenes look of the WOF set, received her law license on September 7, 2024, according to records from the State Bar of California.
“I officially took the oath to become a lawyer in the State of California,” Sajak announced on Instagram.

The new attorney graduated from Georgetown University Law School in May 2023.
In her current role, Sajak manages the game show’s presence on Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms.
She briefly stepped into the spotlight in May 2023, filling in for longtime co-host Vanna White.
White, 67, endorsed Sajak’s performance: “She’s precious, she’s beautiful, she’s very good. I think she learned a lot from her father because he’s such a good interviewer.”
The game show recently underwent major changes as Ryan Seacrest replaced Pat Sajak as host for Season 42.

The transition appears successful, with 8.3 million viewers watching during the premiere week of September 9-15.
These ratings pushed Wheel of Fortune ahead of rival game show Jeopardy! which drew 7.1 million viewers.
Fans have praised Seacrest’s quick adaptation to his new role on social media.
“Seacrest found his groove so quickly on this show that I have to say I’m super impressed,” one viewer wrote on Reddit.
Another fan noted: “He has definitely shown vast improvement so far,” though suggesting Seacrest could improve his handling of contestants who don’t win big prizes.
