NBC bumps Happy’s Place season 2 premiere to late fall.

NBC has finally revealed the premiere dates for its fall 2025 lineup, which includes the return of hit dramas like Law & Order, Brilliant Minds and Chicago PD, as well as new seasons of fan-favorite comedies like St. Denis Medical and Happy’s Place. However, fans eager for more laughs from Happy’s Place will have to wait a bit longer.
While many shows are debuting new seasons in September and October, Happy’s Place season 2 has been bumped to late fall. The hit comedy series starring Reba McEntire is scheduled to premiere its second season on NBC on Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, with back-to-back episodes kicking off the night. The first episode will air at 8:00 p.m. ET/9:00 p.m. CT, followed immediately by the second episode at 8:30 p.m. ET/9:30 p.m. CT. After airing on NBC, each new episode will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.

Happy’s Place is a heartwarming comedy sitcom created by Julie Abbott and Kevin Abbott. McEntire takes on the role of Bobbie McAllister, a determined woman who unexpectedly inherits her late father’s tavern, Happy’s Place, in Knoxville, Tennessee, after his death. As Bobbie strives to keep the family business afloat, she discovers that she has a half-sister, Isabella, who has shared ownership of the bar. The show then focuses on the evolving relationship between Bobbie and Isabella as they learn to work together despite their differences.
Joining McEntire in the cast as Isabella is Belissa Escobedo. Melissa Peterman, Rex Linn, Pablo Castelblanco, and Tokala Black Elk also star.
Fellow sophomore comedy St. Denis Medical is also set to return with its second installment in November. The exact premiere date is Monday, Nov. 3, 2025. Like Happy’s Place season 2, St. Denis Medical season 2 will premiere with back-to-back episodes, giving viewers a double dose of the workplace comedy to start off the new season. The first episode is set to air on NBC on Nov. 3 at 8/9c, followed immediately by the second episode at 8:30/9:30c.
Additionally, NBC has two promising new comedies in development for the 2025-26 season. They are The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, starring Tracy Morgan and Daniel Radcliffe, and the cheerleading comedy series Stumble, from Jeff Astrof and Liz Astrof. The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins will see Morgan portray a former football star who has fallen from the spotlight. The series will follow his journey to redeem himself and repair his public reputation.
Stumble, on the other hand, stars Jenn Lyon as Courteney Potter, a fiercely determined woman leading a junior college cheerleading squad. As she pushes the underdog team toward winning her record-breaking 15th championship, she also aims to transform the lives of her squad members both on and off the mat.
