I’m thrilled that American Idol will return for another season. I’ve been watching the show since season 1, and it’s been a big part of my life. From voting hundreds of times for the contestants with my landline phone in the early days of the show to going to the American Idols Live! concerts and meeting the contestants by their tour buses, I have many fond memories. It warms my heart that a whole new generation of people are now enjoying American Idol and even competing on the show as contestants.
American Idol is a rare family show that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. It’s so inspiring, and it will always have a place in pop culture. Whether Carrie returns as a judge or not, the show will go on because it’s really about the contestants and their journeys. I can’t wait for American Idol season 24 and all of its surprises.
