Ghosts season 5 release date: The haunting will continue on CBS this fall
Ghosts, the hit CBS sitcom with a spooky cast of characters, is returning just in time for Halloween.

The spooky CBS sitcom Ghosts will continue to haunt viewers this fall, when it returns for season 5. Based on the British series of the same name, the American incarnation of the show was developed by Joe Port and Joe Wiseman. And Ghosts has proven to be a huge hit for CBS thanks to its ensemble cast of supernatural stars.
Naturally, you’re eager to know the release date for Ghosts season 5. So when can you expect to see the happy haunts once again?
The Ghosts season 5 release date is October 16 at 8:30 PM ET on CBS. Fresh episodes of the sitcom will continue to air on a weekly basis after that.

The show will be part of an hour long CBS comedy programming block, which will kick off at 8:00 PM ET with Young Sheldon sequel Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.
Of course, there will be many shows with season or series premieres in the fall.

Ghosts follows married couple Sam (Rose McIver) and Jay Arondekar (Utkarsh Ambudkar), who inherit Woodstone Manor from Sam’s late great aunt.

The ensemble cast of ghosts includes Thorfinn the Viking (Devan Chandler Long), Sass the Lenape hunter (Román Zaragoza), Captain Isaac Higgintoot (Brandon Scott Jones), lady of the manor Hetty Woodstone (Rebecca Wisocky), Prohibition-era lounge singer Alberta Haynes (Danielle Pinnock), hippie Flower Montero (Sheila Carrasco), scout leader Pete Martino (Richie Moriarty) and stockbroker Trevor Lefkowitz (Asher Grodman).
Season 5 of Ghosts will debut October 16 at 8:30 PM ET on CBS.
