‘Wheel of Fortune’ Kicks Off New Season with Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White—GMA Goes Behind the Scenes
The iconic game show *Wheel of Fortune* has officially launched its 43rd season, and this time, it’s spinning with fresh energy and familiar charm.
Co-hosts Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White welcomed viewers back with a behind-the-scenes look, courtesy of *Good Morning America*, offering fans a glimpse into the dynamic chemistry that’s driving the show forward.
Seacrest, now in his second season after taking over from longtime host Pat Sajak, shared his excitement and goals for the new chapter. “I want to give away $1 million this season,” he told ABC News, adding that the show still feels “as fresh and fun as ever”. Vanna White, who’s been with the show since 1982, echoed the sentiment: “I love coming to work every day. It’s always fun and you never know what’s going to happen.”

Seacrest revealed a quirky secret about the famous wheel’s clicking sound—it’s created by rubber bands similar to those used in orthodontics. White, surprised by the trivia, laughed and said, “I never knew that!”
The new season also marks Seacrest’s debut hosting *Celebrity Wheel of Fortune*, which he says is “a lot more relaxed” and “just a party,” thanks to the celebrity contestants’ comfort in front of the camera.
