Julie Chen Moonves reminded Big Brother Season 27 viewers that during the past four weeks, only men had been evicted from the house.
However, things would be different in Week 7 as an all-female block would send the first woman packing since Amy Bingham’s eviction in Week 2.
Following Rachel Reilly’s reign as Head of Household, Vince Panaro won the endurance competition and became the new HOH.
At the nominations ceremony, Vince nominated Ava Pearl, Mickey Lee, and Kelley Jorgensen for eviction, with Mickey being his primary target.

Things had to change as Mickey won the Power of Veto and took herself off the block, forcing Vince to name a replacement nominee. Katherine was the replacement nominee and would face eviction from the Big Brother house.
The nominated housemates would have one more opportunity to save themselves from eviction with the BB Block Buster competition.
