Adam Levine Reveals ‘Controversial’ Song Name & How He Tried Using ChatGPT for His Tour (Exclusive)

Adam Levine is opening up about upcoming music and AI.
The 46-year-old Maroon 5 frontman made an appearance on Gandhi‘s iHeart podcast, Sauce on the Side, which drops in full on Wednesday (July 16) – and we’ve got an exclusive sneak peek at the conversation.
During the chat, he spoke about the band’s new album Love Is Like, dropping on August 15.

“I never thought at 46 I’d still be doing this… I thought I’d be a dad—maybe not both!” he remarked.
He also revealed the controversial tale behind the album’s title: “‘Cause we have a song called ‘Love Is Like.’ But the name of the song was controversial, so we had to like change it, and then we couldn’t…you’ll understand why when we release the song…it’s actually the song with Lil Wayne.”
“I’m really excited to have gone back to writing songs the way we used to—the real meat and potatoes being me and the band,” he added of returning to his roots with the group.
Adam also spoke about “Priceless” with BLACKPINK‘s Lisa, saying, “This song needed Lisa. I don’t even want to play it without her—her part became essential.”
As far as tour life these days, Adam says: “I’m more of a 6 PM dinner, 7 AM wake-up guy now. Can we start concerts earlier? I’m all about that dad life.”
He even revealed how he used ChatGPT recently to attempt to help with their tour.
