The View’s Sara Haines walks off set live after Whoopi Goldberg drops brazen admission
Sara Haines walked off The View set live on air after her co-star Whoopi Goldberg made a bold confession, leaving the audience in hysterics.
The popular morning chat show The View took a wild turn in more ways than one this week.
Whoopi Goldberg celebrated her 69th birthday on the long-running ABC morning show on Wednesday by promoting some of her favorite products with the help of her co-host Sara Haines.
As Whoopi and Sara discussed a handful of products positioned on the stage, they walked over to a giant wheel of cheese with the Sister Act star’s face on it.
While admiring the huge dairy product, Whoopie shared that she “always wanted” her face printed on cheese.
Then, the author brazenly admitted: “I like to be eaten from time to time,” as seen in a clip later shared on X, formally Twitter.

Sara’s eyes immediately widened before she playfully stormed off of the set in response to her co-star’s cheeky remark.
Meanwhile, the audience laughed and cheered in response to the comedian’s confession.
Whoopi’s demeanor changed as she pretended to play coy before Sara finally returned to the stage and hugged her.
“Never mind!” Goldberg exclaimed, as she also waved her hand to dismiss the joke.

The multi-award-winning star couldn’t seem to contain her amusement and went on to chuckle while talking about the cheese on the table.
“This is a wheel of authentic Parmigiano Reggiano from Italy, and this has been aged for 24 months and it’s a testament to Italian tradition and quality,” Whoopi explained.
“So if you’d like a chance to win a wheel just like this —,” the actress went on before Sara interjected with a tongue-in-cheek quip of her own: “And eat Whoopi Goldberg!”
The View airs weekdays on ABC.
