John Legend Says His Kids Aren’t Shy When It Comes to Commenting on His Music
Singer John Legend doesn’t have to go far to get feedback!
In an interview with E!, the Voice Judge says his two oldest children, Luna, 8, and Miles, 6 come to the set with him frequently, and are quick to tell him which contestants are their favorites. “They definitely tell me who they like and who they prefer,” laughs Legend. “I think they have a good sense of when somebody is a really good performer and a really good singer, really compelling.”
But their input isn’t limited to contestants on “The Voice.” John Legend says his children are happy to give him feedback about his own music as well. “They tell me which songs are their favorite, which songs are not their favorite.”

Music Isn’t the Only Thing Legend Kids Critique
And apparently music isn’t the only thing Luna has an opinion about. At an Oscars after-party thrown by Vanity Fair, the couple told E! that their daughter also serves as their “fashion police.”
“Luna looked at me like,” said Legend, giving a side-eye expression. “She’s always shading me,” said the singer, who wore a black tunic. Meanwhile Teigen, who wore a white Andrew Kwon gown with a plunging neckline added, “Luna’s a very ‘Modest Molly,’ we call her,” she explained, yubi saying Luna speaks up “any time I have, like, any cleavage or leg.”

In addition to Luna and Miles, the couple share Esti, 2, and Wren, 21-months. And that can make getting ready for glamorous events a challenge.
“It’s chaos, the babies are everywhere,” the model explained. “I do glam right in my kitchen.”

Chrissy Teigen Is Determined to Give Up Smoking
One accessory you couldn’t see on the red carpet was Chrissy Teigen’s secret weapon as she battles to quit smoking. “I’m just furiously chewing Nicotine gum,” Teigen told Access Hollywood at the Vanity Fair Oscars 2025 after party. “Don’t smoke. Smoking’s bad, just stop now if you can. I’ve been an on-and-off smoker for too long, and I’ve stopped for the last time.”
Teigen gave up alcohol in 2021, posting about it at the one-year alcohol free mark. In the caption, she wrote, “not a drop of alcohol in 365 days! I miss feeling loopy and carefree sometimes, but to be honest toward the end, it didn’t give that fun feeling anymore anyhow. I drank to end crazy anxiety that later mostly went away when I – get this – quit drinking! sigh. anyhow I feel really good. sometimes I get really frustrated looking back on days I should remember way better than I do because of alcohol.”
