‘The Voice’ Announces Surprise Season 30 Before Seasons 28 & 29 Have Aired
Fans of “The Voice” are eagerly awaiting the premiere of season 28 on September 22, 2025, and season 29, set to debut in early 2026.
With two new seasons to look forward to, most fans didn’t expect producers to announce on August 26 that auditions would soon open for season 30. The Voice Casting Instagram account said that virtual auditions will take place on September 17 and 18.
Coaches have not been announced for season 30, but the notification has thrilled many up-and-coming singers hoping to land a spot on the series, which would not likely air until the fall of 2026.

‘The Voice’ Alums Share Their Excitement Over Season 30 Announcement
Several winners and past contestants of “The Voice” have celebrated the season 30 announcement, including season 25 winner Asher Havon, who wrote, “SEASON 30 LETS GOOOOOOOO 😍😍”
Season 26 winner Sofronio Vasquez shared one of the casting department’s posts in his Instagram Stories and encouraged others to audition, writing, “Its your time!!!!!”
Victor Solomon, who placed fifth on season 20 (and also appeared on season 23 of “American Idol” in 2024), wrote, “Oh woowww🔥🔥🔥🔥 I know this gon be a big one !!”
Contestants for Seasons 28 & 29 Are Already Set
Auditions for season 30 of “The Voice” are the next chance for up-and-coming artists to try to get on the show, since season 28 and 29 contestants began filming in July.
Season 28, set to premiere on September 22, will feature coaches Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire, Michael Bublé, and Niall Horan. They began filming Blind Auditions in early July and have since filmed the Battle and Knockout Rounds.
Season 29, billed as a “Battle of Champions,” will air in the spring of 2026 with returning coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Adam Levine. They, too, began filming Blind Auditions in July, and their Battle and Knockout Rounds in August.

To audition for season 30, singers can create a free account on the show’s website. Many artists have already commented on the show’s season 30 announcement, excited to give it a try — and some plan to return after auditioning before.

“First time auditioning for anything this big,” another commented. “I’m excited and nervous 🥹🥹”
