“Here We Go Again”: ‘The Voice’ Coaches Share Big Season 28 Updates From Set
Just two months ago, The Voice crowned Adam David as its season 27 winner. This marked the second consecutive victory for coach Michael Bublé, who will walk into season 28 undefeated in his tenure. Veteran coaches Snoop Dogg, Niall Horan, and Reba McEntire are joining the “Home” crooner in the big red chairs. And although NBC has yet to close a premiere date for season 28, recent social media activity indicates that filming is underway.

Michael Bublé, Snoop Dogg Update Fans From ‘The Voice’ Set
Taking to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday (July 8), Snoop Dogg shared a short-but-sweet clip from his big red chair, panning his camera to the cheering audience.
Hours later, Michael Bublé shared a view of his own big red chair from the back as a Voice team member sports a denim jacket emblazoned with “Bublé 28” on the back.
“Here we go again,” the five-time Grammy Award winner captioned the slide as fellow The Voice star Reba McEntire’s song “Fancy” plays.
The “Gin and Juice” rapper, 53, returns to The Voice following a brief one-season hiatus, as does Reba McEntire. Two-time champ Niall Horan also makes a comeback after last appearing in season 24, which he won with artist Huntley.
Meanwhile, Bublé, 49, is seeking his third straight victory after winning his rookie season with Sofronio Vasquez. If successful, he will become the only coach besides OG Blake Shelton to achieve that milestone. The “Ol’ Red” singer was victorious in seasons 2, 3 and 4.
The Canadian jazz-pop crooner is the lone season 27 returnee, with Kelsea Ballerini, John Legend, and Adam Levine all taking a step back.

The Bromance Returns (No, Not That One)
Apparently, The Voice co-stars Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg are looking to fill the “bromance” void left by Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. In a September 2024 interview with People magazine, the West Coast legend referred to the unlikely pairing as “brothers from another mother.”
We love the same things, we agree to disagree, and it’s just beautiful finding somebody like this so far in my career that has the same views in life and that I can mesh with and bond with on screen and off screen,” Snoop said.
Echoing Snoop’s sentiments, a tearful Bublé said, “I was so excited to meet you and you were better than I ever thought you could be. That’s the truth.”
