‘The Voice’ Season 28 Blind Auditions Begin: Superstar Coaches Post 1st Photos
They’re back! The star-studded coaching panel of Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg, Michael Bublé, and Niall Horan have all returned to their shiny red chairs to kick off season 28 of “The Voice.”
On July 9, 2025, as they filmed Blind Auditions for the new season, Bublé was the first of the four coaches to post a photo to his Instagram feed from the set — although he had shared someone else’s pic into his Instagram Stories earlier in the week and Snoop snuck a quick video of the crowd into his Stories.
The new season will premiere on NBC in mid-September, with Blind Auditions taping for four days, with the last set of auditions scheduled to start filming at 3:45 p.m. Pacific time on July 10, per ticketing agent iota.

Michael Bublé is Returning Champ on ‘The Voice’ Coaching Panel
Bublé is the one to beat as the returning champ, having won season 27 with Adam David. The Grammy-winning crooner has now won “The Voice” twice.
But Bublé seems to think the new season has some pretty incredible singers, given that he wrote, “I’m back in the big red chair! And no joke, I smashed my button so hard yesterday that it broke. 😎 The talent on season 28 is 🔥”
On July 10, Bublé also posted a video of him opening his dressing room door and wrote, “Last day of blind auditions and I still have spots to fill. #clocksticking #TeamBublé”

McEntire posted her first photo from the set on July 10, not far from where she’s been filming season two of her NBC sitcom “Happy’s Place.”
“Back in my other Happy Place,” she captioned the photo. “I’ve got my game face on and I’m ready to WIN 🏆 Just wait til y’all hear the incredible voices of Season 28!”
Fans flooded McEntire’s comment section to say how glad they are to see her back on the coaching panel, and how much they loved her look.
“Queen Reba back at it again,” one wrote. “Love you ❤️❤️👑”

At the time of publication, Snoop and Horan had not yet posted pics from the set, but their fans were eagerly awaiting any signs of them filming.
Meanwhile, host Carson Daly has missed his morning gig on “The Today Show” due to his filming schedule in Los Angeles, he explained via satellite on the July 10 edition of the morning show, per TV Insider. However, he was not in L.A. for filming that day, he said, as he had moved on to Nevada to play in the 2025 American Century Celebrity Golf Championship Tournament.
According to iota, the coaches will come back together on August 7 and 8 to film the Battle Rounds, and again on August 28 and 29 for the Knockouts. The two-hour season 28 premiere of “The Voice” is expected to take place on Tuesday, September 16, per Deadline.
