Vanna White, 68, Reveals How She Really Feels About Ryan Seacrest
Wheel of Fortune hostess Vanna White, 68, is sharing her honest opinion about the show’s current host, Ryan Seacrest, 50.

TV Insider reported that Seacrest and White discussed working together on Wheel of Fortune during a June 2 interview on ABC7. During the interview, White noted that Seacrest started hosting the show after Pat Sajak, 78, retired in 2024. According to White, Seacrest and Sajak are quite different.
“Everybody’s different, right? It’s completely different,” said White during the interview.
She also said she did not have any issue with the transition of Seacrest becoming the show’s host.
“It’s seamless!” said White.
Seacrest then clarified hosting the game show, which premiered in 1975, isn’t all that easy for him.
“I still have to remember what I’m doing out there,” said Seacrest.
White then interjected that Seacrest “make[s] it look easy.” White, who began starring on Wheel of Fortune in 1982, also shared she has enjoyed working alongside Seacrest.
“He’s so easy to work with. He’s fun. He’s easygoing and he makes my job easy. You come to work and you make people happy. What could be better?” said White during the interview.

After Sajak’s retirement, White filmed a farewell message for him, which was uploaded on the official Wheel of Fortune YouTube channel in June 2024.
“I don’t know how to put into words what these last 41 years have meant to me. But I’m going to try,” said an emotional White.
She said that Sajak helped her feel more confident when she first joined the show.
“You made me who I am. You really did,” said White in the video.
In addition, she said that she and Sajak were close “outside the studio.”
“We’ve watched our children grow up together. We’ve traveled all over the world. We’ve eaten hundreds of meals together. We’ve laughed. We’ve cried. We’ve celebrated. What an incredible and unforgettable journey we’ve had. And I’ve enjoyed every single minute of it with you,” said White tearfully.
