Vanna White Reveals the Risqué Move She’s Contemplating
The move, if it happens, would be a gesture of support for her daughter.
Vanna White confirmed on a recent Wheel of Fortune episode that she is contemplating what some might consider to be a risqué move inspired by her 27-year-old daughter, Giovanna.
White’s Wheel of Fortune co-host, Ryan Seacrest, prompted the revelation while speaking with a contestant. The show later shared a clip from their conversation on Instagram on Tuesday, Dec. 17.
The clip began with Seacrest, 49, informing the contestant, “I have to tell you, the one person on this set that’s considering a tattoo right now is Vanna White.” He turned to White, seeking an affirmative response.
“True,” White, 67, said. She went on to explain, “My daughter’s a tattoo artist, and she’s been trying to talk me into getting one. So I’m really considering doing it.” At that point in the clip, White mouthed “a little bit” at the camera and made a matching gesture with one hand.
Seacrest then urged Wheel of Fortune viewers to share their tattoo recommendations for White online, a challenge the show also made when it posted the clip on Instagram. “Okay, real talk, what tattoo SHOULD Vanna get?! 👀,” the caption for the post asked.
Several viewers wrote in to suggest Wheel of Fortune-themed tattoos, with one writing, “She needs to get the wheel of course the other only option would be the puzzle board.”
“The wheel of course ❤️,” another viewer agreed.
Others said they thought letter tattoos would be more fitting. “A vowel,” one person wrote while another suggested a “V” tile tattoo in reference to White’s first name.
In addition to the tips inspired by the game show, some people made silly pitches—such as the fan who suggested White get a “Full back tattoo of Shrek”—and others made heartfelt suggestions, like the person who encouraged White and her daughter to get matching tattoos.

The show’s call for ideas was also met with comments from people who opposed the move entirely.
“Don’t do it,” one person urged.
“No,” another fan agreed, adding, “Vanna is the classiest lady on television. No tattoo needed.”
