‘Lucky 13’ Canceled: No Second Season For The ABC Game Show

Luck has run out for game show Lucky 13.
ABC has opted against a second season of the summer game show Lucky 13, hosted by Shaquille O’Neal and Gina Rodriguez, which tested the contestants’ knowledge with 13 true-or-false trivia questions, then asked them to accurately predict how successfully they answered them in order to unlock the $1 million jackpot.
In additional to modest Nielsen ratings, Lucky 13 reportedly did not “generate enough ad revenue” for Studio 1, the show’s producer.
Filmed at Worre Studios in Las Vegas, Nevada, Lucky 13 was produced by Shaquille O’Neal’s Jersey Legends Productions and I Can & I Will Productions. A total of 10 episodes aired.
Despite the cancellation, an ABC representative indicated that Lucky 13 might be explored again in some way in the future. The now final episode aired on September 19.
