Host Ryan Seacrest made an emotional confession about stepping into Pat Sajak’s shoes as the new host of Wheel of Fortune.
During a heartfelt moment at the show’s holiday lunch earlier this week, Seacrest shared his gratitude for the warm welcome he received from the show’s team.
Seacrest, who took over hosting as host in September, posted several photos and videos from the festive gathering on Instagram.
Among the images of the feast, a video showed Seacrest and Vanna White debating over what to eat from the holiday spread.
Seacrest spoke candidly to the crew, expressing his appreciation for being part of the Wheel of Fortune family.
He also shared how excited he was about the opportunity.
“It’s the most exciting time I’ve ever had at work,” he said.
Seacrest thanked the team for making Wheel of Fortune the number one show on TV.
