“Wheel Of Fortune” Star Pat Sajak’s Death Concerns As Name Trends On Social Media
The former Wheel of Fortune host, Pat Sajak, was trending recently on social media. This had the star completely caught off guard and concerned when he saw his name in the list of trending words.
After all, death hoaxes are nothing new when it comes to the online world and can happen a lot.
Read more below on Sajak’s reaction, and why his name was trending.

“Wheel Of Fortune” Star Pat Sajak – Why Was His Name Trending?
As per a Newsweek report, Sajak believed the world thought he had “died” when he was scrolling on X, formerly known as Twitter on Wednesday, October 30, and noticed his name trending. Of course, the real reason he was trending was because he was at the World Series, sitting behind home plate.
Fans spotted him there and started posting tweets of the former host at the big game. So much so, that this got his name trending.
“Wheel Of Fortune” Star Pat Sajak – Down But Not Out
Sajak has plenty of time right now to enjoy games and other fun things. He left his game show gig in June 2024 after over four decades on Wheel of Fortune.
He announced his retirement in June 2023, a search for a new host was launched, and Ryan Seacrest eventually was chosen to join Vanna White in Pat’s place.
The two will be spinning the wheel and letters on the show until 2026.
Still, fans do miss Sajak, as most hate change of any kind. The good news is, he will be back on television sets in the new year, hosting Celebrity Wheel of Fortune.
The show was scheduled to air in October of this year, but due to delays, it’s been pushed back some months to commence in 2025.
