Happy’s Place Upcoming Season 2 Guest Stars Prove The Show Is One Of NBC’s Best

Happy’s Place season 2 will welcome three comedy legends as guest stars, proving that the sitcom is one of NBC’s best. Happy’s Place stars Reba McEntire as Bobbie McAllister, who’s now half-owner of her father Happy’s Tennessee bar, which bears the same name as the show itself. The other half belongs to her half-sister, Isabella (Belissa Escobedo), who Bobbie only found out about after Happy died.
Happy’s Place also features McEntire’s Reba co-star, Melissa Peterman as Gabby the bartender, her real-life love Rex Linn as Emmett the cook, Pablo Castelblanco as Steve the accountant, and Tokala Black Elk as Takoda the waiter. When it returns in the fall, Happy’s Place season 2 will include three incredible guest stars, which prove that the show won’t suffer a sophomore slump.
Happy’s Place Season 2 Legendary Guest Stars Give The Show Credibility

According to Deadline, Happy’s Place season 2 will welcome comedy legends Christopher Lloyd, Carol Kane, and Cheri Oteri to the show. Saturday Night Live alum Oteri will take on the role of Monica, a health inspector appointed to Happy’s Place, who takes her job very seriously.
Back to the Future Star Lloyd will portray Clive, who loses his phone at the bar and returns to get it back, while Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt star Kane will play Theresa, a free spirit who seeks justice and excitement, and is also Clive’s wife.
Their appearance will be a Taxi reunion, as Lloyd played the Reverend Jim “Iggy” Ignatowski and Kane was Simka Gravas, the wife of Latka (Andy Kaufman) on the classic TV series, which aired on ABC from 1978 to 1982, and then on NBC from 1982 to 1983. They each won two Emmy Awards for these roles.
These three guest stars are comedy gold, and they give Happy’s Place credibility as a bona fide sitcom. It’s one of only two NBC sitcoms airing in the fall 2025 season, the other being St. Denis Medical. Happy’s Place had a strong first season, and now these season 2 guest stars prove that it’s one of NBC’s best shows. Lloyd, Kane, and Oteri are beloved stars with long and successful careers, and the fact that they’d appear on Happy’s Place says a lot about the show.
Happy’s Place Season 1 Welcomed Some Beloved Stars

Happy’s Place season 1 featured two other stars from Reba as guest stars. Steve Howey, who was Reba’s son-in-law Van on Reba, played Danny, Gabby’s friend, while Christopher Rich, who played her ex-husband Brock on Reba, portrayed tattoo artist Maverick.
While these guest appearances were sweet nods to Reba, the addition of Lloyd, Kane, and Oteri to the Happy’s Place cast will establish it as more than just a nostalgic trip down memory lane for Reba fans. It now has the opportunity to take its place as a successful sitcom in its own right. Happy’s Place season 2’s guest stars prove that it’s one of NBC’s best shows.
Happy’s Place season 2 premieres on Friday, November 7 at 8 p.m. EDT on NBC.
