The Neighborhood' Ending With Season 8 on CBS in 2025-26

Although “The Neighborhood” will be ending, there is a good chance the world of the show will continue. It was previously reported that a spinoff series centered on the characters played by Marcel Spears and Sheaun McKinney is currently in the works at CBS. It has not been formally greenlit at this time. There is also the spinoff series “Crutch” at Paramount+ starring Tracy Morgan, which is expected to launch later this year.

“The Neighborhood” was one of just a few shows not mentioned when CBS picked up nine shows for new seasons in February. According to sources, the cost of continuing “The Neighborhood” this late in its run was a primary factor in the decision to end the series. The freshman comedy “Poppa’s House” is still awaiting word on a Season 2 renewal, as are the dramas “The Equalizer” and “Watson.”
