The Price Is Right’s Drew Carey once stopped the hit CBS game show to give expectant couple an unexpected gift.

He hosted a gender reveal for couples on the set of the show.

In the episode, the game was paused for a brief moment when Carey called a contestant, Suzette, and her husband, Alexander, to perform a gender reveal ceremony for them.

The expectant mother had an envelope velcroed to her belly, which Carey pulled off for the reveal.

Before opening the envelope, the host asked the couple what they were hoping the gender of their baby was and while Suzette wanted a boy, Alexander wished for a girl.

“You can use Drew as a girl’s name or a boy’s name. It works either way,” Carey joked before opening the envelope.

The host then took out the card and announced: “It’s a girl, everybody!”

Carey then called on another couple who were also expecting a baby soon, Joseph and Amber, who shared that they were due in a few months.

After their introduction, the host opened their envelope. However, this time, things weren’t as straightforward as the previous one.

The envelope had a sonogram picture inside, which was difficult for Carey to describe.

“Okay, I got a picture right here for proof, and then…oh, I see okay,” he said as he realized that there was a note on the picture.

Price is Right's Drew Carey and couple.

He then asked the couple what they were hoping for, and they both said they wanted a boy.

Carey then revealed that it was also a girl, drawing big applause from the audience members.

The little gender reveal party wasn’t a part of the usual proceedings of the show, of course, but viewers at home enjoyed the heartwarming moments.

“Aww. That’s sweet,” one person wrote under the YouTube clip.

The gender reveal wasn’t the only time that Price Is Right has helped out couples with life events.

In 2015, the game show hosted a mass wedding for couples, with Carey officiating them all.

The host told PEOPLE that he was on board with the idea from the moment it was pitched to him.

“I thought it was funny, not crazy. It was a good chance for me to have a Reverend Moon moment,” he said.

Carey said he got ordained online to officiate the ceremony, making it completely legitimate.

“There’s probably like 50 couples or something that can say they got married on The Price is Right, so that’s kind of cool,” the host said.

The Price Is Right ‘s long-time host Drew Carey was struck nearly speechless after a player chose to celebrate winning a massive prize by doing several flips on stage.

During March 31’s episode of the hit CBS game show, player Mia guessed the closest retail price of a computer and ran to the host on stage screaming and jumping up and down.

When she got to Carey she spun him around before he told her she had to guess which of three objects had the wrong price attached to it to win them all.

Out of a karaoke machine, a kayak, and an oven, Mia chose the karaoke machine, which was correct.

Once the buzzer began beeping, indicating her win, Mia started screaming again and did several back flips on stage.

Carey was visibly stunned by the move, which saw Mia land perfectly at the end.

After a pause, Carey said: “Wow. Where’d that come from?”

He joked: “Yeah, I’m going to do a couple flips myself. Fortunately, contractually, I’m not allowed to show it to you on camera, but as soon as we go to commercial I’ll be back flipping.”

Mia’s luck did not run out for the rest of the show as she landed on $1 while spinning the wheel, earning her $1k and another spin that proved fruitless.

However, her luck still didn’t run out when it came time for the Showcase round, where she went up against player Shanna.

She passed on a bathroom, camera, and boat, so Shanna bid $28k on them.

Then, Mia’s Showcase was revealed to be a set of luggage with language translators and trips to Vietnam and South Africa.

    Price Is Right player Mia.

She bids $30k and was under by about $6k, while Shanna bid turned out to be over.

Mia walked away with $47k worth of prizes and to show off her gymnastics one more time, she did two more back flips for the audience.

Last week, player Heidi also won all of her prizes including a sedan, after she guessed the closest retail price of countertop alliances during the March 25 episode.

She played a game of Pass the Buck, which sees a contestant shown two grocery items, each with a price.

The contestant must pass a dollar bill to the price that is one dollar too low and if they’re correct, they earn an additional pick from a game board.

Once the contestant has earned their picks, they select numbers to reveal dollar amounts, a car, or Lose Everything.

After each pick, the contestant may stop the game or risk their winnings to make another pick.

Heidi chose two on the board, which Carey revealed coved a picture of a car, meaning the player had won the sedan.

When it came time to spin the wheel, Heidi shocked everyone by spinning a 100, which meant that she won $1k and another spin.

Her second spin didn’t land on a 5 or 100, but she got to progress to the Showcase round at the end of the episode.

After passing on the first Showcase (a piano, yoga and pilates equipment, and a sedan), she bid $31k on the next one, which included a shed with a tool collection, a trip to Thailand, and a motorcycle.

She won the Showcase, having bid to closest amount compared to player Timothy.

Heartbreaking Final Bow After Three Decades of “The Conners” – See the Cast’s Emotional Farewell!

See The Conners prepare to bow out in seventh and final season: ‘It felt like it would be forever’ (exclusive)

After more than three decades in TV viewers’ hearts, the Conner family is saying goodbye at the end of the upcoming season.

The Conners family photo album is finally closing. The promised seventh and final season of the sitcom about the family from Roseanne, which has been on the air since 2018, is offering a look at the final days on set. And fans should probably get out the tissues.

In Entertainment Weekly’s exclusive backstage video below, Sara Gilbert, who has played Darlene Conner since its parent series debuted in 1988, notes that, “Somehow, it felt like it would be forever.”

Meanwhile, actress Lecy Goranson, who portrayed Gilbert’s older sister Becky on much of the show, speaks lovingly of her longtime workplace: “There wasn’t a day that I was not excited to come here to work.”

John Mellencamp’s 1985 hit “Small Town” plays all the while, adding an extra dose of nostalgia.

Actor John Goodman’s Dan Conner, the husband of Roseanne, who was played by comedian Roseanne Barr in the original series, yubi, also appears in character to give his close-knit family some advice. “If we hang together,” he says, “nothing can stop us.” Of course, before things get too mushy, someone cracks a joke.

After celebrating its milestone 100th episode last season, ABC announced in May that the beloved show, which also stars Laurie Metcalf as Roseanne’s sister Jackie, had been renewed for a final time. Like its predecessor, Roseanne, which aired from 1988 to 1997, the ABC series is about a blue-collar family struggling to make their way in the Midwest.

Noticeably absent, as she has been from the rest of series, is Barr. The 2018 revival of her show was abruptly canceled after just nine episodes, when its star and executive producer infamously made a racist post on social media. A Barr-less version of the family’s ups and downs, which features extended family members played by the likes of Katey Sagal, Emma Kenney, and Jay R. Ferguson, came back five months later. (As viewers saw later, Barr’s character was killed off with an opiate overdose.)

The sequel series has gone on to run a total of seven seasons, and it’s known for featuring big-time stars. Dan Aykroyd, Candice Bergen, Whoopi Goldberg, Juliette Lewis, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, the late Paul Reubens, Mary Steenburgen, and Danny Trejo have been among the guest stars. Recurring roles went to Michael Fishman, who played Roseanne’s son D.J. Conner, and Johnny Galecki, who was formerly Darlene’s boyfriend, David, as well as Sean Astin, Matthew Broderick, Brian Austin Green, and Christopher Lloyd.

The final hurrah of The Conners premieres Wednesday, March 26, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.

Life After “Last Man Standing”: Catch Up with Tim Allen, Nancy Travis, and the Entire Beloved Cast!

Last Man Standing captivated audiences for nearly a decade, following the lives of Mike and Vanessa Baxter, played by Tim Allen and Nancy Travis. Now, years after the show’s conclusion in 2021, fans still wonder what might have become of the beloved sitcom cast.

Last Man Standing has ended, but the show’s stars including Tim Allen, Nancy Travis and Kaitlyn Dever have remained on our screens.

The sitcom started out on ABC and starred Allen as an executive at a sporting goods store chain in Denver, Colorado. Mike Baxter was a married father of three daughters and a grandfather to his eldest daughter’s son. Last Man Standing aired on the network from 2011 to 2017 before moving to Fox for three more seasons.

Last Man Standing marked Allen’s return to the sitcom world after playing Tim “The Toolman” Taylor on Home Improvement from 1991 to 1999.

“The word that keeps me alive is ‘grateful.’ I love what I do. I get far more enjoyment out of entertaining people than anything monetary,” Allen exclusively told Us Weekly in 2020. “I love the live audience we have. I tell them every night, ‘This is old-school stuff, what television and broadcast started with.’ I don’t know the future, but this [show] is rare.”

Allen praised Last Man Standing for not trying to reinvent the wheel.

“We did the same thing as we did with Home Improvement. It’s all about the relationships — we don’t get into topical stuff. But [now], I’ve just got girls, so you see how a man differs in his perspective when he has so many strong women around him,” he continued. “We never make fun [of each other]. It’s an affectionate family. I like the fact that we honor and make fun — at the same time — marriage, institution, kids, babies, people. But in the same way, we honor it. We’re not being snarky about it.”

The One Joke That Got Reba McEntire Booed Of The Stage

    Reba McEntire

Getting booed can be a tough reality, especially for anyone’s self-esteem. However, there are certain individuals that managed to turn this into a positive. Take Dave Chappelle as an example who was booed but reacted in the best way possible. The comedian received boos early on in his career at the Apollo, but realized that the booing didn’t affect him one bit. That only furthered his confidence moving forward.

As for Stephen Colbert, well, the host has had controversial guests in the past who were booed on his show. The host handled the moment in the best way possible alongside Ted Cruz. However, some acts weren’t able to handle it as well, and that included Reba McEntire.

During her interview on the Late Show alongside Stephen Colbert, McEntire retold the story of his worst experience as a host during the late ’70s. The moment resulted in Reba getting booed off the stage for a lame joke. We’re going to take a look back at what went down during the awkward moment, and other difficult predicaments Reba was forced to deal with throughout her career.

Reba McEntire Told Stephen Colbert A Joke During Her Earlier Days Got Her Booed Off The Stage

During her interview alongside Stephen Colbert, Reba McEntire was asked if a hosting gig in the past ever went completely south. Although Reba hesitated to answer, she revealed that an awful joke during the late ’70s got her booed off the stage. It was a tough moment for Reba to handle, though she didn’t take the ordeal too seriously given that it was an awful joke.

So what was the joke the got Reba booed off stage, “Do you know the difference between unlawful and illegal?” she asked. “Unlawful means it’s against the law, and illegal is a sick bird.”

Get it, the ill eagle… Reba discussed the moment in the video below.

At the very least, she got a minor smile from Stephen Colbert, who might’ve appreciated the joke a lot more than others. Nonetheless, it wasn’t the only awkward circumstance Reba faced during her career. Another moment took place alongside some major company, Dick Clark and Keith Urban.

During this particular moment, Keith Urban could not find his guitar, which would case a massive delay to his performance. It was at this point that Dick Clark advised Reba McEntire to speak with the audience and make some time pass. However, the moment turned completely awkward after the audience just wasn’t responding to Reba.

“Well, I can tell a joke, I did get booed off stage one time in 1978 for telling a horrible joke, so…probably not a good idea to do that. So I went out there and said, ‘Are y’all having a good time?’ And it was just crickets.”

Thankfully, the awkwardness was all short-lived as Dick Clark came out to rescue the moment. Reba realized that the best way to go about was to be truthful with the crowd.

“Pretty soon here comes Dick Clark out there and put his arm around me and said, ‘All right, folks, we’re going to tell you what’s going on.’ He was just honest with the audience, and I said, ‘Hmmm, lesson learned from the professional.”

Despite the awkward moments from the past, Reba hasn’t necessarily avoided controversy and standing up for others. That was especially apparent during the feud between Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton. Not only did Reba stick up for Shelton, but she also shaded Lambert during the moment.

Reba McEntire Took Another Bold Stance During Her Career Taking A Dig At Miranda Lambert

Reba had all the fans talking during The 2019 ACM Awards. We’ll never really know if it was purposely done, but lots of fans felt as though it was a dig at Miranda Lambert, given her feud with Blake Shelton at the time. McEntire said during Shelton’s intro, “I love this next performer for many reasons, he’s charming, funny, handsome, talented, sings like an angel, and always writes his own introductions. Give it up for my fellow Oklahoman and friend, Blake Shelton.”

Fans were all over the situation, claiming that Reba had clearly shaded Lambert.

Mirana Lambert instead did not discuss these rumors, choosing to keep quiet. As for Reba, she didn’t specify on the moment either, and others suggest she was sticking up for all artists from Oklahoma.

We all know and love Tim Allen for his comforting characters, heartwarming portrayals and wholesome sense of humor, but there’s one lucky lady who gets to call this sitcom star her hubby, and that’s his wife of nearly two decades, Jane Hajduk. Tim and Jane got together about five years before they tied the knot, and since then, they’ve expanded their family and enjoyed a blissful marriage. When he isn’t bringing a beloved character to life on screen, Tim Allen is a doting dad and happy husband. Here, read all about his marriage, family life and what he’s said about both over the years.

How Tim Allen and Jane Hajduk met

While Tim has found his forever in Jane, he was married prior to Laura Deibel, his college sweetheart, with whom he had one daughter, Katherine. The duo split in 1999, and soon after, he and Jane Hajduk, a fellow actress, linked up. While Tim Allen is certainly considered a star of both the big screen and small, Jane has also found her footing in front of the camera over the years. Her first credited film role was in 1993’s Sex Crimes, and over the years, she continued to appear in countless other movies and television series. Chicago Hope, NCIS, Monk, Benchmarks and Thee Third Act are just a few of the shows that line her resume, and she’s even starred alongside her hubby in a few flicks such as Joe Somebody (2001) and The Shaggy Dog (2006).

Inside their 2006 wedding and growing family

It was in 2006 when this adorable duo said “I do,” and since their Colorado nuptials, they’ve made magic! In 2009, they welcomed their first and only child together, a daughter named Elizabeth, and fatherhood is a gig that Allen has spoken fondly of. When you think of all the joy he’s brought to children all over the world, it isn’t tough to imagine him being a wonderful dad!

“It’s been a long history in learning how to listen,” The 72-year-old actor revealed to Closer Weekly earlier this year. “You really have to not say anything. My younger daughter and I just last night had this conversation. She sat at the bottom of the stairs, I sat at the top. I said, ‘I will just listen.’ And I did. I just listened. Then she said, ‘Now you tell me what you think.’”

What makes their marriage work after 17+ years

Though marriage is no walk in the park and requires hard work from time to time, Allen and his wife have figured out what works for them. “Just like with the kids, we’ve both learned to listen,” he continued to Closer. “We’ve also learned the really valuable lesson: Don’t escalate, de-escalate. Just listen. You may not agree with it, but at least you heard the whole thing without interrupting.” Plus, it doesn’t hurt that they share a lot of common ground. “We really like the same things. I admire so much of what she does. We are very, very different people, but the things we like to do and what we like about other people are the same.”

As for Hajduk, she also revealed to People that listening and communication was crucial, telling the publication, “We talk.” Allen continued, “That’s right, we talk. We do. And we’re good buddies.” Wishing this duo nothing but the best!
