The energy from contestants on the “Price is Right” always seems to be on the next level.

In an interview with TV Insider, longtime host Drew Carey revealed that he often finds game show contestants to be drunk or high while appearing on stage.

“That happens here all the time,” Carey said. “They’ll have a gummy, or I’ll smell alcohol on their breath. Not unusual.”

“There was a guy here that was tripping on mushrooms,” he continued. “He came with a bunch of friends. He was a sketch [comedy] guy. I found out later when I went to UCB [sketch improv theater, Upright Citizens Brigade] to hang out and they were like, ‘Did you see that guy who claimed to be a skateboarding rabbi?’ I asked him what he did for a living. And he goes, ‘I’m a skateboarding rabbi.’ He didn’t think he was going to get picked, and he totally tripped.”

Carey joined “The Price is Right” in October 2007 after Bob Barker retired from hosting the longest-running game show in television history that same year. Barker began hosting “The Price is Right” in 1972.

Last month, Carey admitted his gig on the game show is the ultimate job, and he won’t be giving it up anytime soon.

“I want to die on stage with a microphone in my hand,” Carey told “Entertainment Tonight.”

“I think Bob made a mistake by retiring,” Carey said. “I’m not gonna make that same mistake. As long as my heart is ticking, and they want me to be on the show, I think I’m gonna do ‘The Price is Right.’ I just love it. I think I was made for it.”

Barker died in August 2023 after battling Alzheimer’s.

Despite her near wardrobe mishap, the participant still won the grand prize for the “Do the Math” game

The Price Is Right contestant narrowly avoided a wardrobe malfunction as she ran onstage to greet Drew Carey.

On the Monday, April 7 episode of the long-running game show, Christianne, a fashion model from Fayetteville, Arkansas, was invited up to the stage after placing the winning bid on a fire pit.

After Carey called her name, she excitedly ran up onstage, but as she jumped up and down, Christianne had to hold onto the top of her red-and-white checkered strapless dress to keep it from falling down. In the process, she had to cover her name tag, which was attached to the oversized leather jacket she wore over the dress, prompting Carey, 66, to say, “I can’t see your name. What’s your name?”

The contestant also wore a baseball cap and cowboy boots to complete her game show-ready look.

Christianne went on to play the game “Do the Math,” and after winning, again jumped up and down in celebration while keeping a tight grip on the top of her dress.

When it came time to spin the wheel, Christianne didn’t struggle with her dress quite as much, but she did mention a few interesting people in her shoutouts. When Carey asked who she wanted to say hi to, she responded, “My mom and dad and Tracy and Zoey Rodriguez because they got me here and also Toby Keith and Tana Mongeau!”

The contestant didn’t explain why she shouted out the country singer who died in 2024 or the influencer.

Earlier this year, The Price Is Right celebrated reaching 10,000 episodes. In a PEOPLE exclusive sneak peak of the festivities, Carey revealed that the show will be giving away $90,000 in cash and rewards in honor of the special occasion.

“It’s the 10,000 episode. So the games are going to be supercharged,” announcer George Gray teased before Carey explained his personal connection to the show. “It started in 1972, I watched it in college and The Price Is Right just stood out because there’s people going bananas.”

The duo revealed that over the course of 10,000 episodes, 75,000 people have been “called on down” to participate and the game show has given away “over $300 million in cash and prizes.”

The 10,000th episode aired on Feb. 26 on CBS.

In March 2024, Carey spoke to PEOPLE about his role on the iconic game show. The actor took over the hosting gig in 2007 when Bob Barker, who helmed the series for over three decades, retired. Carey told PEOPLE that he initially turned down the offer to lead The Price Is Right.

“I said, f— no,” the comedian told PEOPLE. “I just wanted to be able to do things that were fun and interesting instead of having a ‘job-job’ or something I had to do every day, because I just had, after being on The Drew Carey Show and everything, I was done with the idea of just being on a show forever.”

However, he later changed his mind.

“One of the show’s producers asked me what my favorite thing to do was,” Carey told PEOPLE in March 2024. “I go, ‘I love leaving big tips when I go to restaurants.’ ‘Well, if you work on The Price Is Right, you’ll be able to do that all the time for a living,’ they said.”

The Price Is Right airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET on CBS.

Longtime friends and two of country music’s most prominent female superstars, Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton, teamed up for a new version of the 1993 chart-topper, “Does He Love You.”

The reprised version of the GRAMMY-winning song is featured on McEntire’s just-released new project, Revived Remixed Revisited, a three-part box set that gives new life to some of the Country Music Hall of Fame member’s most beloved hits.

“Does He Love You” is included on the Revisited portion of the box set, which was produced by award-winning producer Dave Cobb.

The buzzed-about collaboration marks the first-ever duet for McEntire, 66, and Parton, 75.

“I’m shell shocked. How have we not done one?” Reba shared in a new Billboard interview. “Every time I’d hear Dolly doing a duet with somebody else, I would get a little sad or jealous, like, ‘I want to do a duet with Dolly.’”

Still, she added, “Everything happens for a reason and timing is everything. So it worked out perfectly.”

Parton previously opened up about the collaboration, calling it the “perfect pairing.”

McEntire and Parton’s version of the iconic duet comes nearly three decades after the original release, which featured Linda Davis, however, this time, McEntire says they went about it differently.

“The way that Dolly and I approached it, it’s like confrontation on Valium. It’s kind of like, ‘I know you. You know me. We’re adults.’ Whereas when I did it with Linda, that was mid-‘90s, and it was like cat fight city. Now it’s like, ‘I don’t like him. Do you like him? You can have him.’ So it was totally different. It was confrontation, but not hatred,” the Oklahoma native explained.

The Grand Ole Opry members brought the song to life with a brand-new music video, featuring McEntire and Parton in a smoky, candlelit bar.

The video, which premiered on Friday, October 8 via Facebook, and pays homage to the original music video.

The Dano Cerny-directed clip, filmed in Nashville, opens with McEntire entering the bar before she sits at a table with a glass of whiskey. Parton soon after appears on a barstool with a glass of wine, she then joins McEntire at the table as they sang the powerful tune to each other while a house band plays.

The powerhouse vocalists then take to the stage to demand your attention with an impressive live performance of the duet. Concluding with some hilarious commentary, McEntire tells Parton, “you can just have that ol’ boy, I don’t want ’em” before Parton replies, “I don’t want him either. Let’s find us a new man.”

“I like the way you’re thinkin’” McEntire told Parton with a laugh.

Revived Remixed Revisited also features fan-favorite tracks such as “Little Rock,” “I’m A Survivor,” “Fancy” and “Is There Life Out There.”

‘Happy’s Place’ Finale: Showrunner on Bobbie & Emmett Set Up for Future Romance (Exclusive)

‘Happy’s Place’ Boss on Setting Up Bobbie & Emmett’s Future Romance With Finale

Rex Linn and Reba McEntire in 'Happy's Place'

    Spoiler Alert

    Casey Durkin / NBC

[Warning: The below contains MAJOR spoilers for Happy’s Place Season 1 Episode 18, “Alarm Bells.”]

Happy’s Place may be ending for the season, but it’s going out with a bang of sorts as the finale installment, “Alarm Bells,” sets the stage for romance between Bobbie (Reba McEntire) and the titular bar’s in-house cook, Emmett (Rex Linn).

As a real-life couple, McEntire and Linn certainly have the right chemistry to make this pairing work, and while Bobbie’s sister Isabella (Belissa Escobedo) encourages the arrangement, the rest of the Happy’s Place team works against it, claiming at first that Bobbie and Emmett could never be a thing before admitting the duo are definitely into each other.

The fear is that allowing Bobbie and Emmett to get together, could upset the balance of the team’s metaphorical ecosystem. But what sparks the debate, to begin with? When security concerns are raised at Bobbie and Isabella’s place, Emmett offers to help, but Bobbie’s stubbornness leads to a competition of who is a better protector.

When they turn to a shooting game at the local arcade, viewers get a peek into the simmering romantic tension as Emmett attempts to teach Bobbie how to shoot in the game. While no declarations are made, nor dates scheduled, Emmett asks if he can look in on Bobbie to make sure she’s safe from time to time, the implication being that he’ll be dropping in for visits here and there at her home.

With a second season to look forward to, showrunner Kevin Abbott notes, “The season finale was always going to be about that relationship,” but he adds that in the original vision he had in mind the romance “was going to be further than this.”

Instead, he’s holding it back for future episodes, and Abbott teases that it’s something “I actually love, that I don’t think anybody’s going to see coming… So that’s coming up in Season 2.” As for exploring this romance between Bobbie and Emmett, Abbott, who previously collaborated with McEntire on Reba, acknowledges that she may have had her relationships on that series, but that they were often failures.

“For whatever reason, Reba can do almost anything, but she couldn’t do that,” Abbott says of her onscreen relationships in the previous show, “and it used to bug the heck out of me.”

Now with Emmett, there’s a chance viewers could see longevity in their relationship. “Before we had [cast] Rex, I had incorporated Emmett as a possible love interest for Bobbie, hoping… and then when Rex came into the picture it was [like] maybe this is the key we’ve been missing all along.”

As Abbott puts it, “The sparks you see in the season finale for me are just delightful and wonderful.” But when it comes to mixing work and real life, he admits, “There’s a certain amount of trepidation… [but] right now it is working marvelously, the two of them. Rex could not be more fun to work with.”

According to Abbott, Linn is quite different from his curmudgeonly onscreen persona as Emmett as he says “[They] are not the same character at all. Emmett’s a man of few words. Rex will talk your ear off and he is just this lovely man who’s not grouchy or anything.”

Bobbie has Isabella to thank for the romance because, without her intervention, she’d still be dancing around the idea of Emmett rather than facing him head-on. “Isabella’s role is to open her up, to make her take risks,” Abbott says of the character’s purpose of widening Bobbie’s scope of the world.

Likewise, Bobbie is meant to provide Isabella with a home base support. “They will each feed something important in the other, and we’ll get into a lot more of that in Season 2,” Abbott promises. Stay tuned for updates on Season 2 as it takes shape and let us know what you think of the Season 1 finale in the comments section, below.

Did Reba McEntire's Co-Star Just Imply She's Not a Real Redhead?

But during a recent ET Online interview with McEntire and her Reba co-stars Melissa Peterman and Christopher Rich, Rich took some lighthearted shots at both the women, including a joke that implied McEntire’s hair color might not be quite what it seems.

It actually started as a joke aimed at Peterman, where Rich said, “Well, wait, you’re not really blonde, though.”

But then, he turned in McEntire’s direction, adding, “I’m giving away too much. Because she’s actually more blonde than you are, in real life.”

“She was a little towhead, this one. Back in Oklahoma. Back in the day,” he said, patting McEntire on the leg.

Rich stopped there, though throughout the interview, yubi, he cracked a few more jokes at their expense, including one jab about how his entire paycheck from his acting roles might not cover the cost of their makeup.

Of course, Rich has known McEntire and Peterman for decades, since he starred as Brock Hart — McEntire’s character’s ex-husband, who leaves her for Peterman’s character — on the beloved 2000s sitcom.

They’re all close friends, and in the same interview where Rich joked about McEntire’s hair, he also credited her with helping him restart his career after he suffered a devastating stroke years ago.

Rich added that during his years-long healing process, McEntire and Peterman never stopped inviting him to industry events or spending time with him as friends. It’s almost time to return to The Gilded Age.

HBO’s Emmy-winning period drama, The Gilded Age, returns — once again transporting viewers to 1800s New York for another season of scandal, gossip, gorgeous gowns and magnificent mansions.

Season 2 ended in December 2023, and the actors were happily surprised when the series was renewed for another season.

While speaking with PEOPLE in August 2024, Carrie Coon said that returning to play Bertha Russell was “chiefly exciting because we didn’t think we were getting a season 3. The people watching the show really did save it.”

“It’s exciting because we have dispatched with all of the exposition, and now it’s all storytelling, we don’t have to introduce anyone really anymore,” the actress continued. “I was really shocked by a couple of the twists we have coming. So that was thrilling. They keep surprising me.”

With that, here’s everything to know about season 3 of The Gilded Age.

When is The Gilded Age season 3 release date?

The Gilded Age season 3 will premiere on June 22, 2025, at 9 p.m. ET on HBO and Max. The installment will consist of eight episodes.

A few days before its debut, though, attendees of the Tribeca Film Festival in New York will get an early preview. The season premiere will screen at the festival on June 12, followed by a conversation with some of the cast and series creator Julian Fellowes.

Is there a trailer for The Gilded Age season 3?

    The Gilded Age S3

    ‘The Gilded Age.’.Barbara Nitke/HBO

Yes, a trailer for The Gilded Age season 3 was released on May 1. Love and marriage are the focus of the preview, as Bertha has her sights set on marrying off her daughter, Gladys (Taissa Farmiga).

“Marriage is a real opportunity. You can influence politics, change events. You can have powerful, interesting lives,” Bertha says in the clip.

As for Marian Brook (Louisa Jacobson), she tells her family, “Some people want to marry for love. I know I do,” and Aunt Agnes (Christine Baranski) replies, “I don’t understand.”

The drama will feature characters weighing the pros and cons of listening to their heads or hearts. “In the new world, love can conquer all or cost you everything,” reads the trailer’s description.

What will The Gilded Age season 3 be about?

The upcoming season will keep depicting the regal rivalry between the families of old and new money, as Bertha and George Russell (Morgan Spector) continue their ascent to the top of New York society.

“Bertha sets her sights on a prize that would elevate the family to unimaginable heights while George risks everything on a gambit that could revolutionize the railroad industry,” reads the official synopsis.

As for the Brook-van Rhijn house across the street, “Agnes refuses to accept Ada’s new position as lady of the house.” Meanwhile, Peggy might fall in love again after meeting a doctor from Newport, but his “family is less than enthusiastic about her career” as a journalist.

In February 2025, when asked about season 3, Jacobson teased to PEOPLE, “There’s a lot of plot twists. It’s gonna keep you on your toes.”

Which cast members are returning for The Gilded Age season 3?

The Gilded Age season 2 came to a dramatic conclusion with the Russells winning the Opera War, as the Duke of Buckingham (Lamb) chose to attend the Met over the Music Academy.

“American society has been reinvented tonight,” proclaimed Mrs. Fish (Ashlie Atkinson) following the Druke’s arrival.

The morning after the opera, George and Bertha’s son, Larry (Richardson), escorts Marian home, and the two kiss — an affair that continues, judging from the season 3 trailer.

Meanwhile, Ada (Nixon) saves the Brook family from financial ruin after discovering that her recently deceased husband left her his fortune.

The Gilded Age Season 3 is BACK and taking the world by storm.

The Gilded Age Quietly Spoiled Season 3 With This 1 Throwaway Scene (& Most Fans Missed It)

Gladys (Taissa Farmiga) in The Gilded Age Season 3

The Gilded Age Season 3 is taking the world by storm as critics all agree that the Julian Fellowes period piece based on the gilded age in the United States is finally finding its footing. Rich with one of the best ensembles on TV right now, most of whom are veterans of the stage, the drama series has yet to miss a beat this season. With the first two episodes not wasting a moment as both the Van Rhijn household and the Russell household experience some series power moves from within, and characters like Jack start living out the classic American dream, Fellowes and co-writer Sonja Warfield finally cement the vision of the series.

It’s Episode 3, “Love is Never Easy,” however, that really sets the stage for the rest of the season, so much so, that what seems like a throwaway scene at the end of the episode quietly foreshadows the rest of the season. Much like the first two episodes, Episode 3 does not miss a beat, and threads through all the storylines with such expert ease. As the deal with Hector and the Russells begins to fall through, Bertha panics and ultimately crosses a line that she may not be able to turn back from. It is that mistake that leads the episode towards the final sequence and where Fellowes and Warfield both shine as storytellers.

George Russell, Bertha Russell and Larry Russell in The Gilded Age Season 3

Every Character Fears Losing Control of Their Life

Julian Fellows and Sonja Warfield Both Showcase Their Mastery of Story

The whole focus of “Love is Never Easy” revolves around the unveiling of Gladys’s portrait, an event that Bertha can’t wait to host, all so that she can also announce that her daughter is also to be wedded to Duke Hector. The more the reality of that manifesting fades, the more desperate Bertha becomes, and the wider and more bold the steps she takes are. She is relentless in wanting to secure this union to the point of doing whatever she needs to do to make it happen.

The more squeezed Bertha feels, the more frustrated she becomes — and this is the thematic through-line of the entire episode. In the Van Rhijn household, Agnes continues to face the sad reality of losing her grip on the status she once held, especially after losing all her money in Season 2. She, too, feels desperate and frustrated with her current situation. Marian also feels like she is losing control of her relationship with Larry, and even Peggy’s storyline feels like it’s speeding too fast for her.

    Gilded Age Season 3

This is one of the great things about the way in which Fellowes crafts a story and, more importantly, a period piece. There’s always layers and echoes that cement the themes that a particular episode wants to drive home. In The Gilded Age Season 3, Episode 3, it’s all about the feeling that one is losing control of their life. Each in their own way feels like the walls are closing in on them, and that no matter how hard they try, they are going to lose. The only one that fights back against this is Bertha. Though she is also the one who does so without any thought about who she might harm or what she might risk along the way.

This is really what sets Bertha apart from all the other characters in the series. Yes, Bertha cares a lot about what others say about her and her family, yet she does not have that same care about her family’s thoughts. To her, she sees only the endgame, and that is where all her energy goes. “Love is Never Easy” really explores this side of Bertha, but where previous seasons did it in a way that painted her ambition as inspirational, Season 3 shifts this and starts to show the dangers of flying too close to the sun.

The Unveiling of Gladys’s Portrait & The Foreshadowing

The Gilded Age Season 3, Episode 3 Quietly Spoils The Rest of the Season

Despite The Gilded Age being an ensemble story, each episode focuses on one storyline more so than the others and in “Love is Never Easy,” that storyline belongs to Gladys. As her dreams of marrying for love slowly fade as Larry tells Gladys that Billy has moved on, she is left without much choice. The only path ahead is the one Bertha intends for her to travel, and that means announcing her engagement to Hector at the unveiling of the portrait.

With the realization that no matter how hard she tries, there’s no defeating her mother’s choices, Gladys loses hope. In a tender scene between George and Gladys, he does his best to still give her the choice and give her some agency, yet ultimately Gladys gives in and agrees to the union. Standing in front of members of society and near Hector with her portrait behind her, Gladys starts to feel a sense of claustrophobia. She reaches for her pearl necklace and slowly pulls at it until it shatters and the pearls all fall to the floor.

It’s through this moment that Fellowes and Warfield bring a sense of poetry and foreshadowing. With the walls closing in, the rest of Season 3 raises the stakes as each of those falling pearls represents a character whose life falls apart before the season concludes. What makes this season so strong is how Fellowes and Warfield make it clear that everyone, no matter who they are in society, can fall just as quickly as they rose. This is, after all, the gilded age and ambition can only take someone so far before someone else catches up.

Despite all that, it is the Russells who suffer the most this season. Rising through the ranks doesn’t come easy, and Bertha risked it all to ensure that her daughter had a secured future and that her son had a set path ahead. George and Bertha are the necklace that broke. They are at the center of all the things that are falling apart and this moment, though it may seem like a throwaway, is more powerful than fans realize. It is a prophecy that confirms whatever lies ahead for the Russells won’t be any good.

Gladys’s expression witnessing the shattering of her necklace more than solidifies this. With next week’s episode being the season’s mid-point, there’s no doubt that the season’s stakes will only get higher the closer Season 3 gets to its finale. What tragedy might await the Russells when that moment comes? Will any of the characters be where they are in the season now? Only time alongside Fellowes and Warfield will tell.

Is Richard Caught in ‘Doc’ Season 1 Finale? Scott Wolf Shares Season 2 Hopes (Exclusive)

Scott Wolf Breaks Down Richard’s ‘Very Tragic’ Ending in ‘Doc’ Season 1 Finale (VIDEO)

[Warning: The below contains MAJOR spoilers for the Doc Season 1 finale “…Must Come Down.”]

Richard (Scott Wolf) has no choice but to confess to what happened with Dixon in the Doc Season 1 finale.

Doc Ending Explained by Creators: Is Richard Leaving?

Prior to the accident that took eight years of her memories, Amy (Molly Parker) had been looking into what happened to a patient who died under Richard’s care. In the penultimate episode, Richard tried to blame her, claiming he’d just been trying to cover for her. But Amy’s investigation in the finale revealed the truth, and when confronted, Richard had no choice but to confess.

“Even those last conversations throughout this last episode where [Amy’s] talking about having to take responsibility, I still think there’s some hope in him that everything he’s doing, everything he’s saying is going to work. There’s too much at stake for him to ever believe that it’s going to fall apart. And I think even when he walks in that office, obviously, when he sees everyone that’s standing in that room, everything changes,” Wolf tells TV Insider in the video interview above.

When confronted, Richard also tried to throw it back on Amy, claiming that he couldn’t trust her to have his back the way she was before the accident. He was scared he’d lose everything, he admitted. He apologized to Amy, who said that she would’ve forgiven him for his mistake, even understood why he tried to cover it up, but she couldn’t forgive him for gaslighting her and weaponizing her memory loss.

Wolf calls the moment that “everything crumbles” for Richard “very tragic. … All that’s left is the pain that he’s inflicted upon himself, upon Amy, upon everybody in this environment. And I don’t think he’s ever been a person who would want to do that. And so I think when he stops her and says he’s sorry … that’s an incredibly sincere moment,” he explains, getting emotional looking back on it. “He truly has love for this person that he’s put through a very difficult circumstance.”

He continues, “It’s not like, ‘Yay, ding dong, the witch is dead.’ It’s like, ‘Oh wow, this poor person who has a lot of goodness in them, but wound up in a really bad situation and chose to run down this road of protecting himself and his family, but at a great cost.’ And so I think then that last scene, you really feel the cost. You felt the cost to Amy. And in that scene, I think you really, for the first time … see the tragedy of this story that we told, which is a very, I believe, good person who made some very bad decisions and is paying the price.”

Richard ended the season packing up his office, his medical license suspended. At that point, “he’s just devastated,” says Wolf. “I don’t know that he has the ability in that moment when we’re watching him leave to even be thinking about what tomorrow is going to be, or next year. I hope he has a future in medicine. And I think what’s clear is he’s a person who has just lost everything, and that’s brutal.”

Executive producer Barbie Kligman has shared with us that we haven’t seen the last of Richard, so we expect to see Wolf back in Season 2. After all, as Wolf points out, “the show is very much about redemption and second chances. So I believe Richard has a second life.”

Watch the full video interview above with Wolf for more about the Season 1 finale and his hopes for Richard going forward.

The good news is that when Doc Season 1 ended, we already knew that it would be returning for more.

The medical drama will return for a second season, and there’s going to be a major change from its first. There have also already been some cast changes announced, with two promotions and, as Fox announced on Tuesday, June 10, Felicity Huffman joining the series. Read on for everything we know so far about Doc Season 2, from a premiere date to an episode count to the cast, and more.

When was Doc renewed for Season 2?

Fox renewed the medical drama for a second season on Wednesday, February 26. (The renewal came with two episodes still to air in the first season.) The network noted that it was its most-watched debut in over five years, with 16 million tuning in to the premiere across platforms to-date (including encores, viewing through February 19).

“We are thrilled that audiences have embraced Season One of Doc,” Michael Thorn, President, FOX Television Network, said in a statement. “Barbie [Kligman] and Hank [Steinberg] have done an outstanding job bringing one of the most emotionally powerful series on television to life. Renewing for a second season was an easy decision, thanks to this incredible team, our partners at Sony, and an exceptional cast, led by the talented Molly Parker.”

Added Katherine Pope, President, Sony Pictures Television Studios, “We’re ecstatic Doc has been picked up for a second season – a testament to the exceptional writing, captivating performances from our talented cast, and the incredible reception from audiences. We’re so grateful to our partners at FOX for their unwavering support as we continue making more episodes of this show!”

How many episodes will be in Doc Season 2?

While Season 1 consists of 10 episodes, that count is being upped, with 22 coming for Season 2.

Who’s in the Doc Season 2 cast?

Doc stars Molly Parker, Omar Metwally, Amirah Vann, Jon Ecker, Anya Banerjee, Patrick Walker, and Charlotte Fountain-Jardim. Walker and Fountain-Jardim were promoted to series regulars for Season 2. Scott Wolf recurred in Season 1. There’s no word yet on his status for Season 2.

Felicity Huffman has joined the cast in the series regular role of Dr. Joan Ridley, Amy Larsen’s med school professor and early mentor – and the new Chief of Internal Medicine at Westside Hospital.

How did the Doc Season 1 finale end?

The Season 1 finale ended with Richard (Wolf) caught in his lies about accidentally causing the death of a patient. That led to the chief position, which Huffman’s Joan will now fill, being vacant. Meanwhile, the love triangle is going strong. Amy (Parker) rekindled her romance with Jake (Ecker), who then saw her close to her ex-husband Michael (Metwally) in his office to end the finale.

When will Doc Season 2 premiere?

That has yet to be announced, but it is part of Fox’s fall 2025 schedule. It will continue to air Tuesdays at 9/8c.

What will happen in Doc Season 2?

Doc, inspired by a true story and based on the globally acclaimed Italian series Doc — Nelle tue mani, follows the story of Dr. Amy Larsen, the hard-charging, brilliant ex-Chief of Internal and Family Medicine at Westside Hospital and her colleagues, loved ones and rivals who must navigate a new reality when she returns to work after a brain injury erases the past eight years of her life.

Season 2 will have to address the fallout of Richard’s lies and if there’s a spot at the hospital for him going forward. There’s also going to be how Joan fits in among the staff and what’s to come in the love triangle.

“I think there’s an ebb and flow to this love triangle, and while Amy feels strongly about both of them, the back and forth is a constant thing that we’re continuing to explore through Season 2. Whether it’s two people physically being together or yearning for each other, it will go on,” showrunner Barbie Kligman told TV Insider after the finale.

When it comes to the new chief, Kligman had teased, “We will have a new chief at some point in Season 2 — might not be right off the bat, but we definitely will. And that’ll be an interesting dynamic to explore how they are with Amy, how they are with the other doctors. Because first there was Amy and then there was Richard. And obviously when he hopefully returns or if he returns, it’s not as chief.”
