Tim Allen has opened up about his pain in letting go of Last Man Standing and about what the political leanings of the show looked like behind the scenes. Last Man Standing is an American sitcom that has been running for 10 years, boasting 9 seasons and nearly 200 episodes. Allen stars as Mike Baxter, the director of marketing for Outdoor Man, a sporting and hunting goods store.

Baxter works to maintain his manly-man persona and staunch conservative views in a household of women (wife and three daughters) who sometimes tend to push back against his ideals and demonstrate to him the changing times.

It was announced that the iconic sitcom would come to a close at the end of season 9. The cancellation of the series was a mutual decision between Allen and Fox, after Fox picked up the series from ABC in 2018. Essentially, the show has run its course over the past decade, with many of the major characters exiting the show and a natural ending ensuing.

The Last Man Standing series finale is set to premiere on May 20th, and it is, yubi, understandably, an emotional time for the cast and crew as 10-years of work come to a close.

During a virtual panel for Fox’s press tour, Allen opened up about his feelings on letting go of Last Man Standing and the politics behind the show. Allen has taken the show’s ending very hard, stating, “I had health problems letting go of this one.” Allen went on to reveal that, besides Home Improvement and some parts of Galaxy Quest he has never enjoyed one of his jobs quite as much as he did Last Man Standing. Calling himself “a crazed man“, he boasted that he has a miniature replica of the Last Man Standing set in his home. Check out his quote below:

“To be very honest, I had health problems letting go of this one. It’s just been three or four weeks and I’m literally just feeling better. Never have I enjoyed, outside of ‘Home Improvement’ and maybe moments of ‘Galaxy Quest,’ one of these jobs. This crew, from the guy at the gate to Radford inside to people we ate with, I loved every second of this experience.”

last man standing poster tim allen

In his interview, Allen also touched on the politics of the show. Most of Baxter’s conservative views are used for comedic effect, such as his angst against sensitive vegan males or his Hillary Clinton rants. However, the show has also touched on some more serious topics such as gun control, feminism, and the role of the American government.

In reference to the politics of the show, Allen admitted, “We really pushed it a little bit.” He reveals that the Last Man Standing cast and crew were a mixture of Republicans and Democrats, but what they had in common was that none of them liked being told what they should or shouldn’t talk about. He stated, “I loved that we all are the type of people who said, ‘Well, screw that – we’re going to talk about it anyway.’”

As Last Man Standing draws to a close, it is heartwarming to see the love that Allen has for the show. His role in the sitcom is reminiscent of his role in Home Improvement, one that spanned years and was so iconic that fans automatically associate him with the character’s name. A seasoned actor with dozens of credits under his belt, it is also comforting to know Allen has felt such reward and joy in the work he has done with this particular show.

Meanwhile, we hope his work in pushing the boundaries of politics in the show won’t be forgotten. The Last Man Standing crew sets a fine example of working together despite political difference and insisting on talking about topics that many movies and shows may be scared to discuss nowadays.

Happy’s Place has received an order for additional scripts less than a month after its premiere.

Less than a month after premiering on NBC, Reba McEntire’s Happy’s Place just received some great news. Deadline reports that the network has ordered three extra scripts of the multi-camera sitcom, which initially had just 13 episodes for Season 1. Fellow sitcom Lopez vs Lopez got the same treatment, which is based on ratings performance, and it’s possible that more pickups could happen in the coming weeks.

It should be pointed out that an episodic order has not been given, as networks commission additional scripts in case of back orders “as a way to keep the writers rooms working.” The script order is not so surprising for Happy’s Place, which comes from the Reba producing team. The sitcom has brought in 4 million linear Live+Same Day viewers, which reached 10 million cross-platform viewers within a week and was even the best new comedy launch on Peacock.

HAPPY’S PLACE — Episode: Pilot — Pictured: Reba McEntire as Bobbie — (Photo by: Casey Durkin/NBC)

Created by Kevin and Julie Abbott, Happy’s Place centers on McEntire’s Bobbie, who inherits her late father’s tavern, only to find out that her new business partner, Isabella (Belissa Escobedo), is a twentysomething half-sister she never knew she had.

The series also stars McEntire’s Reba co-star Melissa Peterman, Pablo Castelblanco, Tokala Black Elk, and Rex Linn. McEntire, Kevin Abbott, Mindy Schultheis, Michael Hanel, Pamela Fryman, and Matt Berry serve as executive producers.

The country superstar has been quite busy on NBC. Aside from Happy’s Place, Reba McEntire has been pulling double duty as a coach on The Voice for Season 26. She won’t be a coach for Season 27, however, after joining the series for Season 25.

While she initially debunked rumors of her exiting, NBC later confirmed that she would, in fact, be departing, at least for now. It’s unknown if she will be returning in the future, but working on two shows plus her music and likely other projects might just be too much for her. At the very least, since both Happy’s Place and The Voice are on NBC, there’s always the chance she can swing by the singing competition series.

It shouldn’t be long until Happy’s Place gets an official extended episodic order, but fans will just have to be patient. In the meantime, new episodes air on Fridays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC, and there is still quite a lot to look forward to.

“Reba” Star Christopher Rich’s Raw Confession: His Secret Battle with Traumatic Brain Injury After a Massive Stroke Left “Happy’s Place” Fans in Tears.

‘Reba’ Alum Chris Rich’s Post-Stroke Health Battle in His Words: Traumatic Brain Injury to Recovery

Reba alum Christopher Rich candidly discussed his road to recovery after being diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury following a massive stroke.

Rich rose to stardom playing Alexander “Sandy” Cory on Another World in the early ’80s. From there, Rich continued to make memorable appearances on shows such as The Nanny, ER and Murphy Brown before scoring his gig on Reba as Brock.

Reba made Rich a household name after he played Reba McEntire‘s ex-husband Brock from 2001 to 2007. He went on to appear on Boston Legal, Desperate Housewives and Melissa & Joey before slowing down following a health scare.

“After my stroke and having a brain injury, it is like I got hit with an atomic bomb. So it all gets traumatized, and it is a hard reset,” he exclusively told Us Weekly in February 2025 before his guest spot on NBC’s Happy’s Place. “After I finally got out of the hospital, I was moving around again. Then I threw a bunch of blood clots and ended up in the hospital with lung embolisms and debris on my heart. After surviving all of that crap, I’m feeling really, really good.”

He continued: “I lost 50 pounds since the last time I was a regular on television. I just don’t have much of an appetite anymore. But I’m not disappointed by losing weight.”

Rich was hopeful about his return to Hollywood, adding, “It’s great to be able to be a disabled person and play a disabled person. I’m hoping that when some of this gets out there, that people that I’ve worked with in the past are going to say, ‘OK, let’s bring him back. We can work with him.’”

Despite having his life changed by the traumatic brain injury, Rich has remained positive about his ongoing recovery — and is making his return to acting. Keep scrolling for everything Rich said about his health scare, life after having a stroke and how he has prioritized his recovery:

    The Initial Health Issue

“I almost didn’t make it to the Easter service at church because I was busy having a massive stroke,” Rich recalled in a 2022 video for a Texas regenerative medicine clinic. “It has been a major struggle but a part of my treatment is coming here to get a stem cell treatment to heal the right side of my brain where the blood clot happened.”

Rich broke down how the stroke damaged the ride side of his brain, which impaired his ability to walk, talk and use the left side of his body.

“It destroyed some of my brain so what I have been doing is I’ve been trying to redevelop neural pathways,” he continued at the time. “My left side was completely frozen. I couldn’t walk or use my left arm.”

Developing a New Lease on Life

After suffering a stroke in 2018, Rich reflected on his health in a promotional video for a medical center, saying, “I actually had some stem cells injected into my shoulder a few days ago, and the pain is down 80 percent. I have more mobility. I’m walking better. I’m still talking like an idiot, but I don’t think that’s ever going to change.”

Rich admitted he has since looked at his life differently. “When you face a major medical issue, it changes your perspective on life,” he noted. “When you come through it, you begin to enjoy each day a little bit more even with the pain.”

The actor said his health became a priority, which meant it was “that serious a deal” for him to travel from Los Angeles to Texas to “get the highest quality of treatment.”

    Facing Ups and Downs

Rich discussed his mental health in a 2019 video for the Centre for Neuro Skills.

“After [you] suffer a brain injury, it is like everything has changed in a moment and now you’re in this other place. But there’s hope because this is where — for me — the sun shines,” he explained. “Treat your significant other nicely because you’re gonna be relying on them, and don’t forget to ask other people for help because you can use all the help you can get right now. … You’re at the right place and I’m so sorry that you’re having to do this, but I’m glad you found this place. They will take good care of you. They saved my life.”

Rich was previously married to the late Nancy Frangione from 1982 to 1996, with whom he shared one adopted daughter. He found love again with Eva Halina Rich and the couple, who share two daughters, got married in 2003. Eva joined Christopher in a video for the medical center where he recalled the aftermath of his “massive stroke.”

“My wife and I are still working hard to reestablish our relationship because it’s like she’s living with a different person,” he admitted. “I get frustrated with the fact that she doesn’t recognize me as the same guy that is still in here. But she’s like, ‘This is an adjustment.’ I don’t think I’ll ever be exactly what I was before and I hope not because this has been such a learning experience for me.”

    The Initial Year

Jonathan Leibson/Getty Images for Celebrity Fight Night
“I went to sleep the night before Easter and when I woke up, I couldn’t walk or really talk coherently. I had a stroke in the middle of the night and then I had complete left side paralysis. There was basically no use of my left arm at all. I couldn’t walk on my own. I was in a wheelchair,” he detailed in 2019. “My voice sounded abnormal to me, and I had a lot of saliva running out of the left side of my mouth.”

Christopher pointed out that memory was a major issue as well, adding, “I have these dreams at night where I wake up the next morning and I’m completely healed. As much as I want that, some mornings I wake up and I’m trying to stretch out to get moving again, and I realize that I’m doing more than I did yesterday morning.”

He continued: “I have a terrific life thanks to [the medical center]. Bad stuff happens and you can do the, ‘Why me?’ But it’s there for you to grow. This doesn’t stop you and it isn’t the end of the road. It is the beginning of a different road. I would say that CNS saved my life. It really reintegrated me into that life that’s out there.”

Stepping Back From Acting to Focus on His Health

“If you’re an actor, you can’t just suddenly show up again [after suffering a TBI] and say, ‘I can do this.’ Fortunately, I did find something [new]. I miss acting a little bit but not like I thought I would,” he said in the 2019 video for the Centre for Neuro Skills. “It’s been my main drive through my life but the other thing that I’ve done a lot of is philanthropic work and I really miss that more than I do being an actor.”

Christopher continued: “I was able to do something that I got involved with a long time ago. It is a green energy program of non-polluting generators, particularly for islands and remote places.”

    Returning to His ‘Reba’ Roots

After taking a break from acting, Christopher made a guest appearance on NBC’s Happy’s Place. The role reunited Rich with McEntire and Melissa Peterman, who were his costars on Reba. Christopher played a local tattoo artist on Happy’s Place named Maverick who liked to tease new clients about which hand he would use to tattoo them after suffering a stroke that affected his left side.

“The crew made it feel like the old Reba set because we were having a blast. They had as much fun as I did and that was really heartwarming for me. It felt like I was back home in a safe place,” he told Us. “I was really well taken care of. It was a blessing. I want to go back so badly.”

Brock Hart is still stuck in the middle of his ex-wife Reba and second wife Barbra Jean — at least he is according to the actor who played him, Christopher Rich.

The Reba alumnus recently spoke with PEOPLE ahead of his guest appearance on his longtime friend and costar Reba McEntire’s NBC comedy Happy’s Place, and shared his thoughts on what his character from the beloved WB sitcom would be up to in 2025. As far as Rich, 71, yubi is concerned, Brock hasn’t strayed far from his always complicated, but loving, blended family.

He also believes Reba (McEntire) may have finally given in and admitted she and Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) are friends.

“I think Barbra Jean and Reba became closer friends who settled into each other,” he tells PEOPLE, before adding, “I’m sure Barbra Jean still drives Reba crazy, but Brock would not be far from Reba, because of their family connection, and Barbra Jean would never be far from Brock, because of course they have [son] Henry together.”

As for whether or not he would be interested in a Reba reunion, the veteran TV actor says he’s been hoping the show would return in some form for years.

“I mean we all angled for it and pushed for it,” he says of a Reba reboot, before sharing that he would love to see the Hart family return in a made-for-TV movie.

He reveals, “I’ve been trying to do the ‘Harts Go on Vacation.’ I think we could have a lot of fun shooting a movie or something like that on a cruise ship … you know, put everybody in that crazy situation together. We would have a blast.”

While there aren’t currently any plans for an official Reba reboot, McEntire’s Happy’s Place is the next best thing. In addition to featuring both McEntire, 69, and Peterman, 53, season 1 has already hosted two Reba reunions. Aside from Rich’s appearance, Steve Howey, who played Cheyenne’s husband Van on the WB series, appeared in an episode as a local business owner thinking of using the bar to host his company holiday party.

As for Rich, he would love to reprise his role as tattoo artist and stroke survivor Maverick on Happy’s Place – and he’d even be up to placing himself in the middle of McEntire and Peterman’s character’s once again. With Peterman’s Gabby on a motherhood journey on the new show, PEOPLE asked if Rich would be interested in playing the father of her child.

“Yeah, I’d be interested in being the father of that child,” he joked. “Don’t tell Melissa I said that though because you know she’ll camp outside by my front door.”

Happy’s Place airs Fridays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. All six seasons of Reba are available to stream on Netflix.

Kevin Abbott is officially on board for Last Man Standing’s upcoming seventh season at Fox as an executive producer and showrunner, Variety has learned.

Abbott was formerly the showrunner and executive producer on the Tim Allen-led comedy during its initial run ABC.

He took over as showrunner from series creator Jack Burditt, and was then succeeded by Tim Doyle, with Matt Berry then serving as showrunner before the show was cancelled.

Abbott is also an executive producer on the upcoming Fox retirement home comedy The Cool Kids, which will also air with Last Man Standing as part of Fox’s Friday night lineup.

FOX in Talks to Resurrect Tim Allen's Last Man Standing

Abbott will executive produce the Fox version along with Allen, Berry, Kevin Hench, Ed Yeager, Becky Clements, Richard Baker, Rick Messina, Marty Adelstein and Shawn Levy. 20th Century Fox Television will produce.

Abbott is repped by CAA and Jackoway Tyerman.

Allen led the charge to revive the series after ABC cancelled it last year despite its solid ratings on ABC’s Friday schedule. Fox then announced they were bringing the show back earlier this month. The show’s final season on ABC averaged a 1.2 rating in adults 18-49 and 6.4 million viewers per episode in Live+Same Day. Should it be able to match those numbers this fall, which is likely given the fan interest in the show’s return, it would be one of the higher-rated shows on Fox.

Who’s ready for more laughs, heartwarming moments, and behind-the-bar chaos? Happy’s Place season 2 just got an exciting update, and star Melissa Peterman is the person to deliver the good news!

After the first season premiered on NBC back in October 2024, it didn’t take long for people to catch on and fall in love with Happy’s Place. Season 1 had a total of 18 episodes, with the season finale airing in March 2025. Given the success of the show, NBC made the decision to renew it a month before the season 1 finale aired. Now, it’s been a waiting game for fans eager to hear updates about season 2. Thanks to a recent tease from Peterman, the excitement is officially building again.

At the time of the season 1 finale, ScreenRant had the opportunity to speak with co-creator, showrunner, and executive producer Kevin Abbott about the upcoming second season. He mentioned that they planned to start shooting the new episodes at the beginning of June 2025. While we don’t have confirmation that filming for season 2 actually began in early June, we do know that production is currently in progress based on one of Peterman’s latest Instagram posts.

On June 25, Peterman shared a post on Instagram of her at the Universal Studios Lot in Universal City, California. In the photo, she’s happily posing in front of the stage where Happy’s Place season 2 is being shot. In case the picture didn’t give it away, her caption makes it clear that filming is underway.

“Back at my Happy Place!! Season 2! Look Ma! They painted the name on the stage!! #grateful #HAPPY @nbc @nbcuniversal #happysplace”

Now with the cameras rolling on the second season, we’re another step closer to seeing all of our favorite characters back on our screens. Happy’s Place season 2 is confirmed to start airing on NBC in the fall. An official premiere date has not been announced yet, but you can count on us to share it as soon as it is revealed.

Happy’s Place stars Reba McEntire as a woman named Bobbie McAllister who, after unexpectedly inheriting her late father’s bar, finds herself juggling the challenges of running the business while also getting to know her newfound half-sister. She’s joined in the cast by Peterman, Belissa Escobedo, Rex Linn, Pablo Castelblanco, and Tokala Black Elk.

McEntire and Peterman previously starred together in Reba. In Happy’s Place season 1, there were more Reba alums making guest appearances on the show, such as Steve Howey and Christopher Rich. Back in May 2025, McEntire revealed that fellow Reba alum JoAnna Garcia Swisher would eventually make a cameo appearance in the show as well. That should be exciting!

Kerry Washington and Omar Sy had a lot to talk about when they appeared on The View on Friday, May 2 — including their new action movie, Shadow Force — but View cohost Ana Navarro wanted the deets on Washington’s Desperate Housewives reboot, Wisteria Lane.

“This one I’m very excited about — one of my favorite shows,” Navarro said. “It is rumored that you are working on a remake of Desperate Housewives.”

As Sy reacted with gleeful surprise — apparently hearing the news for the first time — Washington gave a precious few details about the project.

“It’s inspired [by Desperate Housewives],” she said. “I can’t say too much — it’s very newly announced, it’s in development. … The idea is that it’s new times, there’s new challenges, it’s like, what happens on that cul-de-sac now? And so it’s exciting.”

Navarro tried to pry casting info out of Washington — asking, “New women? Old women?” — but the actor-turned-producer kept mum, telling fans to follow her production company, Simpson Street, on social media for more information.

News of the reboot came earlier this week, as Deadline reported that Simpson Street and 20th Television were teaming up on Wisteria for the Disney-owned brand Onyx Collective.

Written by The Flight Attendant showrunner Natalie Chaidez, Wisteria Lane is a “fun, sexy, darkly comedic soap/mystery … set among a group of five very different friends and sometimes frenemies who all live on a picture-perfect cul-de-sac called Wisteria Lane,” according to Deadline. “On the surface, all the Wisteria neighbors are living the dream: beautiful homes, gorgeous families, shiny SUVs in the driveway. But behind those white-picket fences and smiling Insta posts are secrets.”

Desperate Housewives, created by Marc Cherry, ran for eight seasons on ABC between 2004 and 2012 and starred Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross, Eva Longoria, and Nicollette Sheridan as residents of the fictional Wisteria Lane.

Cherry is aware of the Wisteria Lane project and could be involved in some capacity, according to Deadline. In November 2024, Cherry told People he had “a couple of ideas” for a Desperate Housewives reboot, including a show set on Wisteria Lane in the 1960s.

“Because the character I miss writing the most is actually Wisteria Lane,” he added. “That was the most fun playground anyone in the history of television has ever had, because we owned the whole street.”

“It’s hard to believe it’s been 41 years,” Vanna, 66, said during the interview.

“I think of Pat [Sajak] as family and always will,” she added.

“We called ourselves Ken and Barbie,” she said.

“I mean, we’re not quite that today. But Ken and Barbie go together and always have. Peanut butter and jelly go together. Pat and Vanna go together.”

Vanna had to consider whether she was ready to leave the show when Pat, 77, told her he was going to retire.

“When Pat told me he was going to retire, it’s like, ‘Oh my gosh. I’m not sure that I’m ready to retire,’” Vanna said.

“So, when I thought about it and thought about it…and I just wasn’t ready to retire.”

With that in mind, Vanna decided to extend her contract for the 2025-2026 season.

She explained that she “loves her job” and loves being on Wheel of Fortune.

If she did ever leave, Vanna said, she would miss her job, as well as contestants like her favorite, Liz Wright.

The 92-year-old won a prize of $65,000 alongside her son KC after she solved a puzzle about How the Grinch Stole Christmas 41 years ago.

It looks like Vanna is committed to remaining a part of the Wheel of Fortune family for the foreseeable future.

    NEXT SPIN!

Vanna joined Ryan Seacrest earlier in the week to film a new Wheel of Fortune commercial.

Vanna took a hiatus from taping her final season with Pat, 77, to get acquainted with her next co-host on Saturday.

In a photo exclusively obtained by The U.S. Sun, the blonde beauty took to downtown Nashville with the American Idol host by her side.

Vanna sported full makeup, a red leather pantsuit and donned her hair blown out in a country-style getup fitting for her surroundings.

Ryan, meanwhile, opted for a double-breasted blazer and jeans as they walked down the street.

The dynamic duo smiled as fans snapped photos of them from every direction.

The moment is meaningful as it marks Vanna and Ryan’s first time filming together, making it our first look at Wheel’s future.

It also marks Ryan’s first time filming anything related to the beloved game show.

The fan who shared the snap above captioned it on Facebook: “Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White were walking down Broadway filming a commercial for Wheel of Fortune.”

“They look so natural together!” one fan replied.

Other fans posted to Facebook that the pair were filming “promos,” and the snap showed them headed to a venue to do so.

The promos would seemingly air on the show ahead of Ryan’s takeover.

    ‘HE CAN’T SPELL!’

As longtime Wheel of Fortune host Pat prepares to step down in June, his co-host Vanna recently got a cheeky warning about her new counterpart.

“Tell me everything,” White said last month to Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos while appearing on their talk show.

Ryan famously co-hosted Live with Kelly and Ryan with Kelly for six years.

“He can’t spell,” Consuelos said, as Ripa agreed, “Yeah, he cannot spell at all.”

Vanna reacted in surprise and said: “Thanks for the warning!” And added they “haven’t had rehearsals yet.”

He then asked Vanna if she had “received texts” from him yet that may have proven as such, to which Vanna said she has.

Kelly then quipped: ”Maybe he’s dictating the texts and somebody’s typing it for him.

“Because, I will say – and I can say this freely, we have all experienced it here – when Ryan Seacrest texts you, you say to yourself, ‘This person is trying to tell me something.’ That’s the first thing.

“It’s that you realize that Ryan is trying to tell you something, but oftentimes, you just don’t know what that is!”

Vanna did say they’ve also communicated via phone, telling the married couple: “I called him to congratulate him on becoming the host.

“He was just so kind, and so he goes, ‘Look, no one’s ever going to replace Pat. I’m not trying to replace Pat.

I’m just thrilled to be able to work with you, and I’ll do whatever it takes. Please teach me whatever I need to know.’”

    PAT’S A WRAP!

It’s nearly the end of an era for the iconic duo of Pat and Vanna.

In June, Pat announced that he would be leaving Wheel of Fortune after 40 years.

Sajak previously posted to X that while “it’s been a wonderful ride,” his 41st season would be his final one.

“Well, the time has come. I’ve decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last,” he wrote.

He added, “It’s been a wonderful ride, and I’ll have more to say in the coming months. Many thanks to you all. (If nothing else, it’ll keep the clickbait sites busy!)”

Vanna White is ready to marry boyfriend John Donaldson in ‘short and sweet’ ceremony: ‘The timing is right’

Wheel of Fortune hostess Vanna White is ready to take her relationship with her beau, John Donaldson, to the next level.

It’s been 12 years since Vanna and John began dating, and friends of the couple say they’re ready to become Mr. and Mrs.

A friend recently spoke with Closer Weekly and revealed that after some hesitancy on Vanna’s part, the couple is ready to take the plunge.

“John’s always wanted to make it official, but Vanna was hesitant, only because she didn’t feel it was necessary to marry again,” the source recently told the outlet.

Although Vanna hasn’t been in a rush to walk down the aisle, the friend reveals that she changed her mind and is ready to meet John at the altar.

“Things change, though,” the insider shared. “Vanna just feels like the timing is right.”

Vanna White’s recent trip to Hawaii inspired her idea for a tropical wedding to John Donaldson

Vanna and John’s February 2024 trip to warm and sunny Hawaii may have gotten Vanna’s wheels turning, and Vanna wants to tie the knot in The Aloha State.

“I like sun. I like warm, tropical,” Vanna said of her preferred climate and a potential place to become a bride again.

Vanna, 67, was in Waikiki last month to film for Wheel of Fortune, and John, a 58-year-old construction company owner, tagged along.

The tropical nuptials will likely include Vanna’s two children from her first marriage, her daughter Gigi and her son Nikko, but either way, it’ll be a low-key gathering.

“It might just be Vanna and John, a justice of the peace, and whoever happens to be on the beach,” added the friend. “This wedding is all about the two of them.”

Another source recently told the outlet that Vanna and John’s ceremony will be “short and sweet.”

“They’re spending lots of romantic time together between shooting, and Vanna wants to show her appreciation for this wonderful guy who’s been so patient,” the second insider revealed. “So they’re going to do it in Hawaii.”

Vanna was previously married to George Santo Pietro from 1990 until 2002, and she was engaged to John Gibson, who passed away in a small aircraft crash in 1986.

Vanna feels like she and John are already husband and wife

Last year, the 67-year-old iconic tile-turner told PEOPLE that she and John had no plans to get married.

“I mean, we’ve been together 12 years, and I feel like we are married,” she told the publication, adding, “in my eyes and his eyes, we are married.”

According to the sources close to Vanna, however, the Wheel of Fortune star and her longtime beau would improve their relationship by becoming husband and wife.

As the insider relayed, “Vanna and John have it so good that getting married can only make it better.”

Jeopardy! trolls game show rival Wheel of Fortune by making epic puzzle fail a clue during Invitational Tournament

JEOPARDY! has teased their sister game show, Wheel of Fortune, for an awkward mishap on the latter.

A Wheel of Fortune contestant epically failed at a puzzle, which Jeopardy! turned into a clue earlier this week.

On Wednesday’s Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament episode, Wheel of Fortune made its way one studio lot over to be used as a clue.

The abovementioned clue was priced at $400, falling under the “As Heard on TV” section.

“From our pals down the hall came the puzzle here,” Jeopardy! host Ken Jennings, 49, said.

As Ken spoke, producers simultaneously showed a photo of Wheel of Fortune’s Final puzzle board from a throwback show.

Captured in the snap was an almost complete puzzle that read: “A Streetcar Na_ed Desire.”

“Instead of an M, this letter got called for, saucy but wrong,” Ken continued.

Although last night’s competitor, Larissa Kelly, picked the clue, her contender, Andrew He, was the one to swoop in and solve it.

    “What is K,” Andrew answered.

Ken informed Andrew that the Wheel of Fortune contestant “called for K,” letting him know he was right.

Andrew joked that he’d watch a movie named A Streetcar Naked Desire.

Jeopardy! fans complain it’s ‘impossible’ to get on program as game show continues to just ‘bring back past contestants’_Facebook_Jeopardy!

    ‘LOL!’

The clip on Jeopardy!’s official Instagram account, where fans loved the playful mashup moment.

“Wheel Of Fortune and Jeopardy. I love this video,” a fan wrote under the post.

    “Lol Andrew,” another added.

“This is like a J!/Wheel/@aftermidnight mashup,” a third person emphasized.

    ANDREW’S BIG WIN

Along with making viewers laugh with his comment, Andrew steamrolled through the second Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament semifinals on April 3.

His win caused mixed reactions from fans longing for a less predictable finale.

Andrew faced Larissa and Sam Kavanaugh on Wednesday for the grand prize of $100,000 and a spot in Jeopardy! Masters Season 2.

The Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament started with 27 stars from throughout the game show’s history, and now its top three contenders are nearly locked in.

After the Jeopardy! round, 2019 All-Star Games winner Larissa had $4K, Andrew led with $5.6K, and 2021 Tournament of Champions winner Sam had $800.

In Double Jeopardy!, Andrew did what he does best: found both Daily Doubles and went all-in on one to have $19.2K, adding $6K on the remaining.

From there, it was technically game over halfway through the round, and Andrew stopped buzzing in.

He maintained an uncatchable runaway going into Final Jeopardy! boasting $32K, while Larissa had $13.2K, and Sam had $9.2K.

Final Jeopardy! under “PHYSICISTS” read, “This man with a force named after him published an 1835 scientific treatise on the physics of billiard balls.” – the correct response being “Corilois?

Andrew wagered $0 to advance to the finale with an impressive total nonetheless and hugged his fellow champions.
