[SO SAD] Voice Coach Adam Levine Shares Why He Cries ‘Every Day,’ Eliciting Sympathy from Fans

Adam Levine is returning as judge on The Voice after 11 seasons away, but his favorite gig is being a father to his children.

“I just love being near them,” Levine, 45, told People about his three kids with wife Behati Prinsloo — daughters Dusty Rose, 8, and Gio Grace, 6, and a 2-year-old son whose name they have not publicly revealed. “I love to watch every single step. And of course, you miss when they’re tiny, and then they get bigger, and then you say, ‘Oh, my God, they’re so big,’ and then you appreciate all the things you can do with them when they get bigger.”

In the interview, posted online on Friday, January 31, Levine called life with his family the “best thing in the world” and compared it to “this amazing, never-ending movie.”

Levine stepped away from The Voice in 2019 after 16 seasons, saying that it was “time to move on” in an Instagram post at the time. The decision allowed him to focus on his family.

Now Levine, who will be joining The Voice coaches John Legend, Michael Bublé and Kelsea Ballerini for Season 27 (premiering Monday, February 3), insists he will stay true to his personal ideals and coaching philosophy on the popular singing competition.

“I’ve always kind of tried to be nice,” the Maroon 5 frontman told People. “I give people my experiential knowledge. It’s scientifically proven that it’s counterproductive to be mean. There’s just no f—ing reason to act that way.”

Levine admitted that fatherhood has made him more sentimental as the years have passed. “And yeah, I’ve softened, I mean, I have three kids, I cry every day,” he said.

In the interview, the musician noted that while leaving his kids for work can be “heartbreaking,” it gives him purpose. “It’s kind of a selfish thing when you start and you’re on your own,” he said. “And now, and my kids know this too, I tell them this every time I have to leave for a period, I’m just like, ‘I’m doing this for you guys,’ which is a hundred percent true. I’m out there for them.”

In addition to The Voice, Levine is gearing up for international performances with Maroon 5 as well as an eight-show residency in Las Vegas.

John Legend is opening up about his break from The Voice.

Earlier this week, NBC confirmed next season’s coaching panel will see Reba McEntire, 69, return to the hit singing competition alongside Gwen Stefani, 54, and newcomers Snoop Dogg, 52, and Michael Bublé, 48.

While speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Legend, 45, revealed that he won’t be starring on season 26 due to other commitments. “We’ve always got so many things going on. I’ll be doing a lot of shows this summer and traveling overseas this summer,” the “All of Me” hitmaker shared.

“I’ll be back… If only I were actually going to take a break!” Legend, who first joined The Voice as an advisor a few seasons before he became a coach in 2019, joked.

New coach Bublé previously featured as a guest advisor to Blake Shelton’s team in season three of the show, while Snoop appeared as a season 20 mega mentor.

“It’s exciting to incorporate some new people into The Voice family. Having Snoop here, he’s been here as a mentor before, but having him as a coach, I think is going to be a lot of fun and reinvigorate the show a bit,” Legend added to ET of the upcoming coaching panel lineup.

“We’ve been around for 25 seasons and part of how we continue to stay fresh is introducing new coaches to The Voice family, and I think Michael and Snoop will do really well. And I’m excited that Gwen and Reba will be back too because they’re both wonderful coaches,” he told the outlet.

Legend’s comments come after he shared some adorable photos of his kids Luna Simone, 8, and Miles Theodore, 5, visiting him on The Voice set last week.

The musician posted two Instagram snaps of the youngsters posing on one of the show’s famous red chairs, while another showed them sitting on their dad’s knee while smiling for the camera.

“My favorite coaching advisors joined me for the first night of #TheVoiceLives!” he captioned the post.

Legend shares Luna and Miles with wife Chrissy Teigen, 38. The pair are also parents to daughter Esti Maxine, 16 months, and son Wren Alexander, 11 months.

The Voice season 25 finale will air on NBC on May 21.

THE Voice fans have expressed their devastation over how a coach will not be returning for the next season after last night’s grand finale.

Team Michael Buble’s contestant Adam David was the winner of season 27, with the series now having wrapped up until season 28 which will air in the fall.

As the season came to an epic conclusion, Kelsea Ballerini’s contestant Jaelen Johnston sadly lost out on the win after it was revealed the country music star would not be a coach in the upcoming season.

Fans are devastated that the Sorry Mom singer, who is dating Outer Banks star Chase Stokes, won’t be returning for next season.

But despite many fans sharing their sadness over the fact that she will not be returning to the show in the fall, one person harshly slammed Kelsea for having “no musical knowledge” despite her glowing career.

“THE WAY IM GONNA MISS KELSEA AND BUBLÉ’S DYNAMIC SO MUCH,” said one viewer.

Another person then begged: “Make Kelsea a coach every year, I don’t want her to leave.”

A third then said: “Damn I’m gonna miss Kelsea as a coach.”

While a fifth added: “KELSEA’S FIRST SEASON AS A COACH ON THE VOICE AND SHE GETS SECOND PLACE IM SO BEYOND PROUD OF HER !!!”

    HARSH COMMENT

But a fifth brutally said: “Unfortunately, Kelsea Ballerini (whom I enjoy btw) did NOT succeed in her role as a Coach on #TheVoice this season.

“It’s crazy how this show REALLY shows the musical knowledge of professional singers through the Coaching chairs. Not all have succeeded in this occupation!”

The harsh comment comes despite Kelsea being a five-time Grammy nominee, as well as being a decorated award-winner.

Breaking down in tears over her “insane” time on the show, Carrie admitted she was “emotional” as she choked back tears.

“I think my journey on American Idol all the time, because it’s so grand, it’s so unbelievable,” Carrie said in the clip.

She added: “To go from somebody who was going to school, trying to figure out what she wanted to do with the rest of her life,” before saying how it was on a “whim” to appear on the show.

Carrie then reiterated how her time on the show was “insane”.

“If I hadn’t made that one decision in my life, my life would be completely different.

“So it’s just a blessed journey I’ve been on,” she concluded.

Sharing the video on their Instagram page, the American Idol account wrote: “What a blessed journey for #carrieunderwood, and it started with one #americanidol audition!”

    A BLESSED JOURNEY

Reacting to the tearful clip, one person said: “Couldn’t have happened to a sweeter more gentle soul! I’m so happy for her.”

Another added: “A blessed journey but also a strong work ethic combined with talent and dedication!”

While a third penned: “Carrie Underwood is so humble and BEAUTIFUL! A GREAT EXAMPLE TO ALL.”

And a fourth said: “I really didn’t care for her as a judge. She’s better as a contestant or a visitor to the show.

“She was a little bit boring. Sorry, but I still love her.”

    AMERICAN IDOL FUTURE UNCLEAR

Carrie is said to have the ball in her court in regards to a possible return to the singing show next season.

“After all the bumps this season, and the beginning was bumpy, the people that matter in the decision making, the powers that be, really love Carrie,” a source exclusively told The U.S. Sun.

    Carrie Underwood’s Family

The American Idol winner had relationships with Chace Crawford and Tony Romo but she ultimately walked down the aisle with Mike Fisher.

Mike is a Canadian retired hockey player from Peterborough, Ontario.

In October 1999, Fisher made his NHL debut with the Ottawa Senators.

He played for the Senators until he was traded to the Nashville Predators.

One of the reasons he agreed to the trade was so he could be close to his wife Carrie.

On December 20, 2009, Carrie and her former hockey captain hubby announced their engagement.

On July 10, 2010, Carrie Underwood and Mike tied the knot after almost two years of dating.

More than 250 people were in attendance at their wedding ceremony at The Ritz-Carlton Lodge in Greensboro, Georgia.

Carrie’s engagement ring from Mike features a yellow diamond and was valued at $150K.

In February 2015, the couple welcomed their first child; a son named Isaiah.

In January 2019, the singer and the pro athlete expanded their family further with the birth of their second son Jacob.

“They feel a certain protectiveness toward her.

“They’ve defended any setbacks and criticism she’s endured this season and would gladly have her back.

“The ball is more in Carrie’s court.

“She’s on the fence about coming back, there were times this season I think she would’ve absolutely said ‘no’ to returning.

“But as she’s found her place within the role it’s grown on her more but it wouldn’t surprise anyone on set if she doesn’t return.”

CARRIE Underwood couldn’t contain her emotions on Sunday night when she broke down in tears on the American Idol judging panel.

But during her first judging stint, Carrie was brought to tears when Breanna Nix performed one of her hits.

Breanna, 25, appeared on the show when she walked into the audition room with her young son Emerson.

Emerson sat on Carrie’s lap while stay-at-home mom Breanna performed with her husband Austin, who played the piano.

Breanna spoke about her weight loss journey ahead of her performance, with her keen to let her son know that chasing dreams can pay off.

The blond beauty then performed Carrie’s song, Jesus, Take The Wheel, as Emerson sat on the new judge’s lap and they watched Breanna croon the emotional song.

As Breanna sang, Carrie could be seen getting emotional as Emerson fell asleep due to his mom’s soothing vocals.

Carrie then sniffled as she teared up, saying: “I’m sorry, he’s just so adorable and sweet.”

Breaking her silence about the emotional moment she had on the show, Carrie said on X: “I had a hard time going back and forth between talking to Emerson and the adults.

“Sorry you got the baby talk @breannanixmusic ! What a great audition!!! Such a beautiful family!”

Carrie was making her first appearance on the show after replacing singer Katy Perry on the judging panel.

Meanwhile, show host Ryan Seacrest couldn’t contain his emotions either.

Viewers reacted to the emotional rendition, too.

While a third said: “What an incredible performance of Jesus, Take the Wheel. She did such a beautiful job with the song!”

    INAUGURATION DRAMA

The country singer has remained silent after her controversial appearance at President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

Those in Carrie’s circle revealed she was “frustrated” with how the performance went, The U.S. Sun previously reported.

An insider said: “Her keeping quiet is an indicator things did not go well for her, not how she wanted.

“Reports of her having a ‘hissy fit’ isn’t true though, she isn’t a toddler but she was and is frustrated.”

The source claimed: “How the performance was pitched to her and how it ended up going were two very different experiences.

“Most of that had to do with the event being moved indoors which decreased the guest list and how many people she could bring with her – something she was not happy about.

“She’s proud of herself for how she handled such a chaotic situation but I think she’s second-guessing this whole thing and wondering if it was worth it.

“For both herself and her family who she’s fiercely protective of and tries to keep more private.”

Just because they played brothers on Young Sheldon doesn’t mean Montana Jordan and Iain Armitage do everything together off-screen. In fact, there’s one activity in particular that Jordan isn’t willing to participate in with his former co-star at all.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jordan, 22, and Emily Osment, 33 — who both star in the Young Sheldon spinoff Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage — opened up about the possibility of Armitage, 16, appearing on the show.

“I don’t know! He’s at Caltech,” Osment pointed out.

“Off at college right now,” Jordan agreed, adding, “We’d love to have him. Right now I think he’s traveling.”

“He’s a pilot now,” Osment interjected, with Jordan going on to explain that Armitage is in Africa, noting he travels “all over the place” with his family.

“We were about to have hiatus on Young Sheldon one year, and they was asking me what I was doing and I was like, ‘Oh, I’m just going back to Texas’ and I asked them and I think they were going to Asia or something,” Jordan recalled, joking, “I was like, a vacation for me is going to Galveston.”

When the interviewer suggested that maybe Armitage could fly Jordan somewhere, he didn’t seem too thrilled with the idea.

“He does have his pilot’s license now,” he acknowledged before declaring, “I would never…his ass ain’t flying me!”

Even if Jordan isn’t planning on boarding a plane with his TV brother in the cockpit anytime soon, Armitage told People in October 2024 that he’d already flown a plane with his mother and grandmother as passengers.

“I just got my pilot’s license, or my student pilot’s license,” he revealed at the time, adding, “I hopefully will get my private [pilot ’s license] when I’m 17.”

Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage premiered in October 2024 and has aired its first seven episodes to date before going on mid-season hiatus through the holiday break. The sitcom, which serves as a sequel to Young Sheldon and, by default, also a prequel of The Big Bang Theory, centers on the life of eldest Cooper child Georgie (Montana Jordan) and his new role as a husband and father.

Taking place immediately following the events in Young SheldonGeorgie & Mandy’s First Marriage got off to a strong start, receiving positive reviews from critics and audiences, alike. While a second season renewal hasn’t yet been made official, fans can look forward to more Season 1 episodes soon.

When Is ‘Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage’ Coming Back?

Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage will be coming back by the end of this month: the eighth episode will come out on Thursday, January 30, 2025. The episode, called “Diet Crap,” will air on CBS and stream on Paramount+. It will be followed up by episode 10 called “A Tire Convention and the Moral High Ground” on February 6, 2025, along with new episodes weekly every Thursday.

How Many Episodes Will There Be?

While the initial length of run of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage was unknown, it has now been confirmed that the sitcom will receive a full 22-episode order. This means fans still have more than half the season to look forward to through the first half of 2025. There aren’t any specific details about plotlines nor episode names for episodes beyond the next two. But there are a few things to note. It has been confirmed that Paster Jeff (Matt Hobby) from Young Sheldon will make an appearance in an upcoming season one episode, joining the list of Young Sheldon characters who appear on the show.

His episode will air in February, according to TVLine, and will also include Mary (Zoe Perry), who has already appeared in a few episodes of the show. Also previously confirmed to reprise his role in at least one episode is Doc Farrow, who played Coach Wilkins, George’s best friend and co-worker. It’s unclear which episode he’ll appear in.

What Was the Last Episode About?

The last episode to air was on December 12, 2024. It was called “An Old Mustang” and featured a deeper storyline for the misunderstood character of Connor (Dougie Baldwin). Feeling guilty about not trying to understand Sheldon (Iain Armitage) better, Georgie tries to be more open and inclusive of brother-in-law Connor. This leads to Connor finally opening up to Georgie about his feelings of being a failure and letting his parents down.

An edited image of Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage

Georgie does his best to give Connor pep talks and make him feel better about himself. This doesn’t go unnoticed by Connor. When Connor comments to his mother that George is a good person, a glimmer of recognition and guilt crosses her face. She realizes that Georgie has had such an impact on Connor, who rarely expresses any emotions towards anyone.

This coincidentally happens just after Audrey (Rachel Bay Jones) has a fight with Mandy (Emily Osment). She insults Georgie (again) by saying she wants CeCe to stay in school, unlike her father. And she warns Mandy not to give up on her dreams to have a family like she did when she had her children decades ago.

The moment marks Audrey seeing Georgie in a different light, and it could mean a turning point in the show, and Audrey’s perception and treatment of Georgie. While she never took him seriously, seeing how positively he has impacted her son Connor, to whom she is extremely close and protective of, may change Audrey’s mind about her son-in-law. There’s plenty of room for the story in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage to grow as the characters all experience their own challenges and arcs. Fans are excited to see what’s next through the rest of season 1.

It focuses on Georgie’s attempt to start his life with Mandy and their infant daughter following the death of Georgie’s father in the Young Sheldon finale. Most of the comedy comes from Georgie and Mandy’s attempts to navigate adult life, as well as their relationships with Mandy’s parents.

Although they are not main characters in the new series, several Young Sheldon characters have already returned to Georgie & Mandys First Marriage. However, Sheldon has not made any appearances yet, though he has been mentioned several times. Sheldon is away at school in California while the rest of the Coopers are still in Texas, so it makes sense that he is not a regular part of this spinoff series. However, the holidays are an exception, as he conceivably could have flown back for a visit while CalTech is closed.

Sheldon Won’t Be Returning To The Coopers For Christmas

Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Will Not Be Airing A Christmas Episode

Co-creator Steve Holland recently confirmed (via TVLine) that there won’t be a Christmas episode because it comes too close to Thanksgiving. Thus, there will be no opportunity for Sheldon to return for Christmas unless he does so off-screen and the family just talks about it later. However, that would be even more disappointing than an episode where he is a no-show, as it would reference Sheldon without giving the audience the opportunity to participate in his return.

This update means that the biggest opportunity to bring Sheldon back passed without him returning. While this fits the narrative that Sheldon rarely returned home after he left for CalTech, it’s disappointing that he will not appear during either of the major holidays. Those are the only times when it would be feasible for him to visit, so it’s unlikely he will appear during the first season of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage now that the holidays are not an option.

How Long Can Georgie & Mandy Avoid Bringing Sheldon Back?

The Series Does Not Revolve Around Sheldon, But Should Include Him When It Is Able

Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage is trying to establish itself. As the first show in the Big Bang Theory franchise not to feature Sheldon, it needs to be able to succeed without him, and thus bringing him back too early could be bad for the show. However, given that the rest of the Coopers have already appeared multiple times, it’s reasonable to expect that Sheldon will return at some point.

Sheldon interacting with Mandy’s equally strange brother, Connor, would be comedy gold.

It would be easier to bring Sheldon back than for Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage to create a return for George Sr. since Sheldon is alive and well in California. Additionally, Sheldon interacting with Mandy’s equally strange brother, Connor, would be comedy gold. Thus, hopefully George & Mandy’s First Marriage finds a way to bring Sheldon home for a visit without sacrificing the spinoff’s independence from its predecessor or allowing the boy genius’ presence to overshadow the title characters’ story.

Casey Wilson Called Her Time With Tim Allen, "The Single Worst Experience" She Ever Had In Hollywood

Actor and comedian Casey Wilson has accused Tim Allen of being “so f***ing rude” on the set of Disney+’s The Santa Clauses.

Wilson, 43, guest-starred on an episode of the series, which is based on Allen’s popular Santa Clause film franchise. Allen, 70, plays cranky divorcee Scott Calvin, who finds himself instated as the new Santa Claus.

During a recent episode of her B**** Sesh podcast, Saturday Night Live alum Wilson said that working with Allen was the “single worst experience I’ve ever had with a co-star ever”.

“Tim Allen was such a b****,” Wilson said, explaining that she had “buried this” story until now because one of the show’s producers is “a great friend” and because her children “loved the movies”.

“So I’m in a scene. It’s just me and Tim Allen and I’m supposed to throw things at him,” Wilson recalled. “I think he’s a burglar. So he’s coming down the chimney, obviously as Santa, and I am woken up thinking there’s an intruder, basically like a home invasion scene.

She continued: “So I’m throwing things at him. [He] goes over to the producer who is standing four feet from me and goes, and I hear him, he goes, ‘You gotta tell her to stop stepping on my lines.’ The producer turns to me with horror on his face and has to walk one foot to me and he goes, ‘Um, Tim would ask that you stop stepping on his lines.’”

Wilson said that “everybody was walking on eggshells” around the Toy Story actor. “People just looked frantic,” she added. “When he was done, he was so f***ing rude. Never made eye contact, never said anything. It was so uncomfortable.”

After they finished filming, she remembered Allen announcing that he was “leaving” before dropping his Santa coat to the floor and walking out.

“They hustle in his stand-in; lovely man, who was much nicer to act against. People are scurrying to pick up his velvet Santa coat. He’s a b****,” Wilson said. “And this is the best… I will not say who said this. This was someone that I do not know, perhaps in the crew. [He or she] breezes past me and just goes, ‘You’re seeing him on a good day’.”

In early February, Allen was accused of flashing Pamela Anderson on the set of the Nineties sitcom, Home Improvement. He publicly denied the claims, saying that it “never happened” and that he would “never do such a thing”.

The Baywatch actor later responded to his denial, saying: “He has to deny it because look at the times we’re in. What if he said, ‘Oh yeah, I did that.’”

Tim Allen calls out 'woke' Twitter, attacked by 'wokees'

Toy Story star Tim Allen has been mocked for a viral social media post discussing the “face of woke”.

The right-wing actor, who once compared Hollywood liberals to Nazis in 1930s Germany, posted on Twitter on Monday (17 October).

“Who is the face of woke,” Allen wrote. “Do wokees have a club house in someone’s backyard or maybe a cute yet safe playpen somewhere?”

The tweet was subsequently “liked” more than 40,000 times, prompting thousands of replies – many of which were mocking the peculiar phrasing and sentiment of Allen’s post.

“Woke” is defined by the Merriam-Webster dictionary as the state of being “aware of and actively attentive to important facts and issues (especially issues of racial and social justice)”. It is often used perjoritively by those on the political right.

A number of celebrities jumped in to respond to Allen’s tweet, ridiculing both the “face of woke” phrasing and the question about the “club house”.

“The clubhouse is their voting location. Sorry not sorry,” wrote actor Patricia Arquette.

Political strategist Adam Parkhomenko referenced Allen’s famous Home Improvement segment “Tool Time”, quipping: “Tool Time was a really accurate name.”

Rock group Eve 6 shared a reply which read: “This is the boomerest boomer tweet of all time.”

Comedian Marsha Warfield wrote: “ Imagine advocating for being misinformed and unaware. ‘Don’t call ME woke! I’m proud of being clueless, and, by god, by gummy, I’m gonna stay that way!’ – Anti-Woke Sleepwalkers of America.”

“I am, and that clubhouse you speak of is sitting rent-free in your mind… talk about a Home Improvement,” joked journalist Ernest Owens.

The rock band Wheatus simply replied: “Wtf even are you talking about?”
