THE Price is Right was interrupted by a special report on Friday, and fans immediately began begging CBS to put it back on.

Breaking Supreme Court news aired right before the game show was scheduled to begin, cutting off the first several minutes of the program.

CBS broke the news that the Supreme Court ruled that federal prosecutors improperly charged hundreds accused of obstructing an official proceeding during the January 6 insurrection.

The Price is Right did not start from the beginning and instead, went on with the show as if nothing had happened, six minutes in.

It cut in during a commercial, angering fans.

When the commercial ended, the special report came back and then quickly cut back to The Price is Right.

Fans did not get to see the introduction or the first contestant try to win their prize.

“@cbsnews @NorahODonnell Get off the air and put Price is Right on!” one X user begged.

“@CBSNews OK Already! You told us about the ruling now get off the TV. You aren’t even saying anything relevant now. We want the Price is Right,” said another.

“I’ve been through enough these last 16 hours, CBS, I just wanna watch the price is right,” added a third.

“I was watching the Price is Right and they broke in for breaking news about the Supreme Court,” wrote another.

“Thanks for interrupting the price is right,” another complained.

    DAYTIME DISRUPTION

This isn’t the first time that the game show has been interrupted this year.

In May, fans were fuming as The Price is Right was abruptly taken off the air.

In certain areas, breaking news cut in and took the show off the air.

CBS’ coverage of Biden’s speech on protests on college campuses was the topic.

    The Price is Right Hosts

The Price is Right first came on TV in 1972. Fans fell in love with the game show so much that it has been on for over 50 years. Throughout that time, the show has had a few different hosts. Find out who they are below.

Bob Barker – 1972 to June 2007 (also became executive producer in 1988)

Drew Carey – October 2007 to present

Dennis James – filled in for Bob in 1974 when he missed four episodes, also hosted the nighttime version

Craig Ferguson – 2014 April Fools Day Special

Many fans wished the news aired after the game show.

“BOOOO, PUT THE PRICE IS RIGHT BACK ON,” one X user said.

“Aw hell nah they interrupted the price is right,” said another.

    PARTIAL DISRUPTION

However, during the May interruption, only some markets were interrupted.

Some fans said that their program wasn’t interrupted as CBS put the special report online.

“That’s smart,” replied a fellow fan, before adding that they “wish everywhere was like that.”

The show returned in time for the Showcase Showdown.

The Price is Right airs on CBS at 11 am every weekday.

Dave Chappelle Reveals the Shocking Truth About His ‘Saturday Night Live’ Monologues

Dave Chappelle is a true comedy pro.

The legendary comedian, 51, sat down in the new Variety Actors on Actors interview and explained that when he takes the stage at Studio 8H to perform his monologue as host of Saturday Night Live, nobody knows what’s going to come out of his mouth… including him.

In conversation with Mo Amer, Chappelle shared that even Lorne Michaels doesn’t know what he’s going to say during the monologue because he’s generally just “winging it.” Of course, Chappelle is such a seasoned comic that the studio is always in stitches anyway.

“Even if I don’t have jokes, I got experience enough,” Chappelle explained.

Despite his ability to be funny, that can be a little dicey due to the nature of the program.

“On live television, it’s dangerous,” Chappelle continued. “You got to navigate standards and practices and all the rest of it. But to Lorne Michaels’ credit, he never knows what I’m going to say. As a tradition, I never do my actual monologue in rehearsal.”

“For me, rehearsal is just ‘How’s the sound?’” Chappelle laughed.

However, the monologues can receive significant blowback. That was the case with Chappelle’s 2016 one, where he suggested giving newly elected President Donald Trump a chance. Recalling that moment, Chappelle said he thought of it “fondly.”

“I remember that part. But you know what? I look at it like a photograph. That’s what it felt like in that moment. Now, if it ages well or not, I don’t get mad if I look at a picture because it’s not today. That’s what it was at that time. You might look at an old set and cringe, but you could just cringe because of how you were at that time,” he explained.

Even though he doesn’t prep much, Chappelle finds tremendous satisfaction in getting out there and laying it out all out there for the viewers.

“It’s so much pressure on live television,” he shared in the Variety conversation. “But the joy of doing that show for me is the monologue. What a gift for a stand-up to be able to do what he does on live television on such a revered platform like SNL is. It’s always exhilarating. It’s a little terrifying, but just a little. You never do as good as you think you’re going to do, but it’s never that bad. The hardest one was maybe the one when Biden got elected, because we didn’t know he was going to be president until Saturday morning. So I had a set for if Trump won, and I had a set for if Biden won.”

The Masked Singer season 13 kicked off with a bang as one celebrity was revealed on Wednesday night.

Host Nick Cannon and the panel of judges, including Robin Thicke, Rita Ora, Ken Jeong, and Jenny McCarthy, were all in for a surprise as they tried to guess the famous faces behind the masks. The first episode saw Honeypot, Ant, Paparazzo, Fuzzy Peas, and Coral hit the stage, but it was Honeypot who had to bid farewell.

The judges speculated it could be Cedric the Entertainer or Steve Harvey behind the mask, and Ken and Jenny were spot on—it was indeed the former. Even Nick Cannon was taken aback, exclaiming: “I’m gonna be honest I thought it was a white man,” while viewers watching at home claimed they knew all along due to his distinctive voice.

Fans previously voiced their predictions on X, formerly known as Twitter, with comments like: “#MaskedSinger Honeypot is Cedric the Entertainer …. calling it now.”

Others confidently stated: “Duh, #HONEYPOT is @CedEntertainer,” and some remarked on the ease of recognizing his voice, comparing it to when Lil Wayne was on the show, reports the Express US.

Following the big reveal, judge Ken Jeong shared a touching story about how Cedric had helped him break into television. “You approached me at a club and asked, ‘Have you ever done that on TV?’ I replied ‘No sir,’ and literally a week later, I was on Cedric the Entertainer Presents,” Ken reminisced.

When host Nick Cannon asked if Cedric’s family would be surprised to see him on the show, Cedric revealed that his eight year old granddaughter would be the most shocked. “When she sees this, she’s going to be so excited,” he said.

The show kicked off with Cedric performing Justin Timberlake’s Sexyback, followed by Ant’s emotional rendition of a Pink song, which left judges guessing if she was Lindsay Lohan or Lea Michele. Paparazzo then took the stage to sing The Door by Teddy Swims, sparking guesses of Taron Egerton and Succession’s Kieran Culkin.

Fuzzy Peas performed La Bamba, and Coral closed the show with Mad World by Tears for Fears.

Big Changes Coming To ‘The Voice’ Next Season

Carson Daly on 'The Voice' - YouTube

The Voice is already set to come back with Season 28. With it, major changes will also be coming to the competition series. This also comes out as fans have been voicing their concerns over the most recent season and its finale.

An Inside Source Promised Changes Were Coming To The Voice

The Voice recently came back with Season 27 in February. This season, Adam Levine returned as a coach after leaving the role following the sixteenth season. This time, he sat alongside John Legend, Michael Bublé, Kelsea Ballerini.

The season came to an end on May 20, 2025, which saw Adam David as the winner of the competition. However, news has already come out about the show’s next season.
Adam Levine on 'The Voice' - YouTubeAdam Levine on ‘The Voice’ – YouTube
An inside source recently spoke with The U.S. Sun, teasing what fans can expect nest. They shared, “Next season won’t be exactly the same, changes are underway and changes will always come and evolve. No two seasons have ever been the exact same.”

This also comes out as fans have been voicing their concerns following the recent season’s finale. In particular, some feel that the show’s format rushes the competition, as a large number of contestants can leave the show in-between shows. According to these fans, this could cause some contestants to lose before they can really show off their talent.

This became pronounced during the Season 27 finale, when the Top 11 were seen on the stage performing Bastille’s “Pompeii.” Many fans noted the talent seemed to take off when the former contestants appeared.

Fans Already Have Some Idea On What To Expect For Season 28

The source acknowledged that the show does listen to its fans. As they noted, ““The show hears the complaints loud and clear. The people who make the show also want the best talent possible to make it to the finale, but some of that is not in their control. They do the best they can.”

The insider also acknowledged that “The show’s format is by far the show’s biggest obstacle.” They continued, “It’s a tough recipe to follow. The blind auditions, nothing gets better than that. That’s the show’s bread and butter and what put the show on the map.”

That said, the insider assured that not everything is set in stone. As they shared, “Now everything after that? The show is still figuring it out as they go even 27 seasons in.”

As previously reported, fans already know a bit about what Season 28 will look like. The coaches’ lineup has already been announced: Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire, Niall Horan and Michael Bublé.

In addition, The Voice will also have a different schedule with the new season, due to NBC picking up the NBA. Some weeks will only air episodes on Tuesdays, before switching to airing on Tuesdays, at least according to recent plans.

The Voice Season 27 winner, Adam David, has outraged fans as he “butchered” the National Anthem. Fans were shocked when he won the season, given the competition he was up against. Are viewers now regretting voting for him? Keep reading for more details.

The Voice Fans Outraged Over Adam David’s Anthem

Adam David made Michael Bublé proud when he won Season 27 of The Voice. This was Team Buble’s second win in a row, winning consistently since he became a coach. There was a lot of shock when Adam took home the prize as he stood next to Jaelen Johnston. Renzo, from Team Legend, came in third, but many believed he should have gone all the way:

    RENZO+JOHN LEGEND SHOULD’VE WON.😢 MY WINNERS. 💛💛✨️✨️
Lucia and Renzo were way better than him. The Voice is getting phony.
Jaelen or Renzo should have won, both were much better singers

Regardless, Adam was the winner and has gone on to do bigger things now that the season is over.
    Adam David- YouTubeAdam David- YouTube
He got the chance to perform the National Anthem at the Stanley Cup playoffs, which took place on Saturday, May 24th. It was supposed to be a highlight and show everyone what Adam was made of. Unfortunately, those who saw the performance were less than impressed and raked him over the coals. They felt that his vocals were unclear and that he was not pronouncing key Anthem words properly. One fan had this to say about how Adam showed up:

He stunk and should be banned from performing our National Anthem. Why can’t it just be sung the way it was written; it’s not a pop tune subject to interpretation.

    To that, another added:

Ya I would say he butchered that..

    https://x.com/MsSmith17743658/status/1927020877037576304

No one cared for how The Voice winner sounded, and they made it very well known. At this point, he is fresh off his win, the finale having aired on May 20th, 2025. So, to flop so badly this soon does not bode well for his future gigs.

    Can He Ever Recover?

Although he did have support from many of The Voice fans, Adam David has a lot to do now to recover. This anthem could haunt him for a while, with it being just a week post-finale. At the same time, Fergie and Ingrid Andress did horrible renditions of the National Anthem, and many have not forgotten. Adam has received so much hate for this version, which is sad, as he is likely on a high right now:

I’ve heard some bad renditions of the national anthem but this ranks right up there
Come on. That Panthers anthem singer made me ready for a nap … not an NHL playoff game
Can anyone sing the national anthem normally at a NHL game?!?!

So, it may not have necessarily been a bad version of the song, but rather one that fans did not care for. He seemed to have slowed it down too much when they were looking for some pep in their step.

Do you think this is the end of The Voice winner’s career, or can he bounce back? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

Everything Kelly Clarkson touches is a major success, from her music career to her daytime talk show. But rumors persist that she’s leaving the show. A shocking new expose reveals the truth behind the star’s tumultuous life and TV show. Keep reading for all the details.

Hoda Kotb Responds To Claims She’s Talking Over Kelly Clarkson’s Show

Kelly Clarkson’s eponymous daytime talk show is immensely popular. The show has received multiple daytime Emmys and consistently draws in viewers. The singer’s Kellyoke segments, where she belts out cover songs, often go viral as fans continue to be shocked by her vocal talents.

The multi-talented performer won American Idol over twenty years ago but hasn’t lost a bit of popularity. In fact, she may be ever more popular today than she was two decades ago. But with that popularity comes the risk of burnout.

Kelly Clarkson began hosting her talk show in 2019. It was an immediate hit with viewers. NBC even agreed to move the entire production to New York City to make her happy. But now there are rumors that she wants to move on from the show. Former TODAY co-host Hoda Kotb is on fans’ shortlist for a replacement. However, Kotb recently shut those rumors down and revealed the only talk show she’d consider joining.

Is Kelly Clarkson Done After Season 7?

Kelly Clarkson isn’t the only American Idol alum with a talk show. Season 3 contestant Jennifer Hudson launched a talk show in 2022. It was recently renewed for Season 4. Meanwhile, Kelly Clarkson’s show has at least one more season under her current contract. The Kelly Clarkson Show will air through Season 7, but what happens then is anyone’s guess.

Multiple outlets have reported that the American Idol winner doesn’t plan to continue with the show. It would be a huge blow to the show’s crew, but according to Page Six,

    Inside Her Tumultuous Life

Kelly Clarkson married Brandon Blackstock in a lavish wedding in 2013. She unexpectedly filed for divorce in 2020, kicking off a long legal battle. The two fought over money and custody of their kids. Blackstock was also her manager and responsible for the singer landing huge deals with The Voice and The Kelly Clarkson Show.

The former couple welcomed two children during their marriage: River Rose, 10, and Remy, 8. The kids moved to New York City with their mom after the divorce was settled. By all accounts, the family was thriving, and things with her ex had calmed down. However, Kelly Clarkson vanished from her talk show for a few weeks in March for reasons she still hasn’t disclosed.

Sources alleged that Brandon Blackstock was sick, and she took the kids to visit him. The absence only fueled speculation that she was done with the show. An insider spilled to Page Six that the singer has reached her limit.

“She knows her limits, even on ‘The Voice’, when she was working so hard, she knew when she needed a refresh – that’s what you’re seeing now,” they said. The source added that NBC would be okay with ending the talk show if it meant keeping Kelly Clarkson around to host holiday specials.

Kelly Clarkson hasn’t publicly addressed the rumors that she wants to end the daytime talk show. Do you think the show will continue beyond Season 7? Sound off in the comments.

Gwen Stefani and Reba McEntire are two of the most tenured coaches on The Voice right now. However, as far as Gwen is concerned, she believes that Reba is mad at her on the hit reality singing competition series.

Here is what happened between Gwen and Reba and why there might be trouble brewing on The Voice.

Is Reba McEntire Mad At Gwen Stefani On The Voice?

Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani are competing to get the best singers on The Voice this season. That is all about the game, and the coaches have always gone all out to convince singers why they are the best choice. At the same time, they often like to make digs at each other and say why the other judges aren’t the ones the singers should choose.
    Gwen StefaniGwen Stefani/YouTube
On Monday, one singer, Jake Tankersley, had a tough decision to make. Both Gwen and Reba hit the “Steal” button to try to get him to come to their team. In the Knockouts Round, Jake sang “Going, Going, Gone” by Luke Combs, but Snoop Dogg chose to eliminate him. Gwen and Reba both jumped at the chance and hit their buttons.

“I loved your performance, I loved you before. [Stefani] blocked me last time so I’m going in there again. I’d love to have you on Team Reba,” McEntire said (via PEOPLE). “I don’t have a country singer on my team and I feel like I deserve that,” Gwen said. She then added that she would love to coach him.

“Reba, I love you so much. You’re an Okie, I’m an Okie but Gwen used her only block on me and I’m gonna go with Gwen,” Jake said.

Later, Gwen said she felt guilty about it, saying, “I’m knocked out by these knockouts. I just beat Reba, like, I actually feel guilty about it. I think she’s mad at me!”

The Voice Fans Believe Show Is Getting Away From The Singers

This season has soured many fans to The Voice. Many viewers claimed that the show has gotten away from focusing on the singers. It seems many of the viral moments are just the coaches’ reactions to each other.

Fans have said that the production team seems more concerned about showing the coaches and their banter with each other. Instead, they feel the singers should be more of the focus. However, the show still gets good ratings, and some feel it is the popular coaches who are to blame.

As “Grey’s Anatomy” enters its summer hiatus, the usual anticipation for a new season is compounded by an air of intense uncertainty surrounding its beloved cast. This unprecedented level of ambiguity has sent shockwaves through the dedicated fanbase, leaving millions of viewers anxious about the fate of their favorite Grey Sloan Memorial doctors.

Showrunner Meg Marinis, in a post-finale interview, has been notably cautious, confirming only two characters’ survival, while offering tantalizing, albeit limited, additional insights. This deliberate ambiguity has heightened speculation, transforming the wait for Season 22 into a suspenseful guessing game.
