    Aubrey Nicole Wins Over Reba

With a proud smile, Aubrey joined Team Reba and added another emotional highlight to ‘The Voice’ Night 6 Recap.

His gritty, blues-infused vocals quickly caught the attention of Reba, Snoop, and Michael, all turning their chairs in one of the most powerful moments of the final Blind Auditions. Michael called him “the voice that could win the show,” while Snoop said he’d be “a perfect California representative” on The Voice Season 28. But it was Reba who ultimately secured him, calling his performance a true “homecoming.” With pride, Aaron joined Team Reba on ‘The Voice’ Night 6 Recap.

    Jerrell Melton Goes the Distance

Jerrell Melton from Georgia brought a dramatic, theatrical touch to his performance of “Go the Distance” by Michael Bolton. Elias Gomez Rocks the Stage

Elias Gomez from Cincinnati lit up the stage with his lively take on “Lonely Teardrops” by Jackie Wilson. Alex Brown Impresses with Bee Gees Classic

Alex Brown from Alabama brought a smooth, emotional vibe to the stage with his soulful version of “How Can You Mend a Broken Heart.” His heartfelt delivery prompted both Niall and Snoop to turn their chairs. Snoop joked that he “had to take off his glasses” just to soak it all in, while Niall praised Alex’s vocal control and one-of-a-kind sound. Alex ultimately chose to join Team Niall..

Makenzie Phipps Wraps the Night with Heartfelt Country

Makenzie Phipps, a country singer from Virginia, wrapped up the night with a heartfelt performance of “4x4xU” by Lainey Wilson. The Voice: Michael Bublé Jokes About Quitting While Deciding Winner

On the last night of Blind Auditions, viewers met Aaron Nichols, a Nashville musician originally from Bakersfield, California. He grew up in difficult circumstances recalling that his mother cleaned houses after working 12-hour hospital shifts to pay for his guitar lessons. “Music became more serious for me when I got hired around to play wedding bands, party bands,” Nichols said, adding that once he and his wife welcomed their son Jack, he knew he had to step his career up. “Something about having a baby boy lights a fire under you,” Nichols said.

“Having a chair turn would be validation of all the hardships of pursuing this dream. This is a big payoff of all the years of hard work from my mom. [We] did this for a reason,” he said. Accompanying himself on the guitar, Nichols performed Chris Stapleton’s “Cold” and immediately got a chair turn from Coach Reba McEntire. The moment they locked eyes, McEntire smiled and gave the Artist two thumbs up.

Just as he finished his song, Bublé pressed his button, followed by Coach Snoop Dogg.

“There’s soul in there for days,” said Coach Niall Horan of the singer’s deep, rich voice.

“I might not have a chance,” Bublé admitted, saying that as he listened to Nichols sing, he thought to himself, “Reba McEntire is gonna win The Voice with this dude,” which got a look of surprise out of McEntire. Bublé explained, “At least I wanna say I have turned my chair and thrown my hat into the ring.”

Aaron Nichols chose his Coach on The Voice based on who his wife wanted

Snoop added a bit of fun to his pitch, telling Nichols, “Double-A R-O-N. With the D-O-double-G.”

“For me to have you on my team would be great representation of what we are as musicians from California, and how we can make any genre of music relatable and lovable. I turn my chair and I knew I was going up against Reba, I knew she was gonna be standing there with the gauntlet, ready to take you in to country music heaven. But I do have a past in country music heaven, as well, and I would love for you to take this journey with me on my team so we can slide through the gates the California way,” he added.

McEntire kept it simple: “When you started off with your guitar and then you started singing… poor little old button, I hit you so hard! I was so excited! It was like homecoming and I’d love for you to be on my team.”

Ultimately, Nichols knew what he had to do, and the very important reason as to why he had to do it. “Man, I love all you guys, there’s no wrong choice here,” he explained, before admitting, “But as I really like being alive, and my wife knows what I need to say right now — because if I don’t, I’m gonna hear about it for the rest of my life — I’m picking Reba.”

And with that, Team Reba was full, and Aaron Nichols lives to sing another day. When in doubt, always trust your wife.

  • Inside Team Reba 2025: The Full Lineup of Talented Voices Competing on The Voice

Inside Team Reba 2025: The Full Lineup of Talented Voices Competing on The Voice

Team Reba 2025: Every Member of Reba McEntire’s Team on ‘The Voice’

Reba McEntire is in it to win it, filling her team on season 28 of “The Voice” with a diverse group of 12 artists. She was the first of the coaches to complete her team on the final night of Blind Auditions — October 7, 2025.

So, who made it onto Team Reba? Here are details on each artist on her team. All 12 singers will move on to the Battle Rounds, starting on October 13.

Team Reba 2025: Vinya Chhabra of East Brunswick, New Jersey

Rocker Vinya Chhabra got three coaches to turn their chairs for her during the Blind Auditions — McEntire, Michael Bublé, and Snoop Dogg loved her strong vocals as she belted out Alanis Morissette’s “Ironic.”

When Chhabra revealed she was just 14 years old, McEntire said, “You know, it’s funny, Michael and I were looking at each other and he was going, ‘Is she young?’ I said, ‘I think so!’ But what a powerhouse!” Though they all fought over her, Chhabra conferred with her parents and chose Team Reba.

Team Reba 2025: Cori Kennedy of West Concord, Minnesota

Kennedy, who grew up in rural Minnesota and moved to Nashville just weeks ago, got two chair turns — from McEntire and Buble — for her rendition of The Judds’ “Why Not Me.” But she got a standing ovation for the adorable tune she sang after, about “The Voice” and each judge.

Unsurprisingly, the country artist chose country queen McEntire to be her coach. McEntire told her, “I’m just so thrilled to be back on ‘The Voice’ and to hear your voice on that stage, singing. Aw, it took me right back to Tennessee. Makes me homesick. Your voice is wonderful, such power.”

Team Reba 2025: Daron Lameek of Brooklyn, New York

Daron Lameek, 35, has been singing since he was a kid — but major spinal surgery at 18, gaining 19 screws and two rods in his back, could have caused him to give up. Instead, he said music helped him fight his way back. Now a full-time musician, Lameek wears his heart on his sleeve with every performance — and the coaches could tell as he sang Lionel Richie’s “All Night Long.”

McEntire, who confessed she’s a “huge Lionel Richie fan,” turned her chair, as did Bublé, who said it was obvious from Lameek’s face that he was thrilled to see McEntire turn her chair. And he did, in fact, go with her as his coach.

Team Reba 2025: Leyton Robinson of Rogers, Arkansas

Twenty-three-year-old Leyton Robinson was inspired by her grandpa, a guitarist in a Southern gospel quartet, who introduced her to classic country, she told producers. Though he died a couple of years ago, she continues to carry on his legacy, performing in Nashville four to five nights a week.

McEntire loved Robinson’s sound, as did Snoop — and they both turned their chairs. Snoop said that he felt like they “belong together,” but in the end, Robinson chose to stick with the country queen.

Team Reba 2025: Manny Costello of Athens, Georgia

Girl dad Manny Costello, 28, brought McEntire to tears with his rendition of Craig Morgan’s “Almost Home.” He said the song gives him a good perspective on life, choking up as he talked about his beloved girls – who are big fans of McEntire’s show “Reba” — and wanting to show them that they can put anything they put their minds to.

Though Snoop also turned his chair for Costello, he knew it was a lost cause as Horan said it was amazing that he’d “moved the queen of country music to tears.” Not surprisingly, Costello chose to go with McEntire.

Team Reba 2025: Conrad Khalil of Newark, New Jersey

Now a musician living in Los Angeles, 28-year-old Conrad Khalil also works as a celebrity photographer, having worked with talent including Lori Harvey and Da’Vine Joy Randolph. But music is his true passion, having studied voice at an arts high school. He’s also just a good guy, mentoring at the Boys & Girls Club, hoping to inspire the kids he works with to go after their dreams.

McEntire was the only coach to turn for Khalil as he sang Usher’s “Caught Up,” and she was thrilled she didn’t have to fight for him!

Team Reba 2025: Peyton Kyle of Tampa, Florida

Twenty-six-year-old Peyton Kyle also received a one-chair turn from McEntire. The Freddie Mercury lookalike attended his audition with superfans Don and Susan Parr, whom he met when he moved to Georgia.

Kyle shared that upon landing in Los Angeles, his appendix ruptured, and that he needed to have surgery immediately, noting that “in the hospital bed, not knowing if I was gonna be able to be here after all this hard work, it was extremely scary.” But he fought on, and is now on Team Reba!

Team Reba 2025: Ryan Mitchell of Glendale, California

Yet another one-chair turn for McEntire, Ryan Mitchell was the one contestant on season 28 who benefited from host Carson Daly’s new “Carson Callback” plot twist. During his first audition, singing Cigarette Daydreams” by Cage the Elephant, he got zero chair turns. But Daly saw his potential as a great rocker and used his special card to secretly bring Mitchell back to audition with another song the next night.

Mitchell returned 24 hours later to sing Britney Spears’ “Hit Me Baby One More Time” and got McEntire’s chair turn. She was stunned to see him, but loved that he’d been given a second chance.

Team Reba 2025: Shan Scott of West Point, New York

Shan Scott, now 28, moved from West Point, New York, to Nashville when she was 18, chasing her dream of playing music for a living. She said she herself how to play guitar in fourth grade, after her best friend died tragically, using music and songwriting to help with her grief.

Singing “Wish I Knew You,” Scott was shocked when McEntire hit her button at the last moment. McEntire insisted she wasn’t trying to be “sneaky,” but was just “really into the music” before she realized it was ending. Scott was McEntire’s fourth single-chair turn!

Team Reba 2025: Letter to Elise of Buffalo, New York

This Blind Audition was 27-year-old Elliott Hunt’s second time on the stage, as he auditioned as a solo artist in season 27 but didn’t get any chair turns. But this time, he brought his buddy Chris Lillis, 30, with whom he’s been performing as the duo Letter to Elise for the last 10 years.

The coaches loved their harmonies on “Take On Me” and both McEntire and Snoop turned their chairs. McEntire told them how much she loves working on harmonies, and they surprised her by choosing her as their coach.

Team Reba 2025: Aubrey Nicole of Littlestown, Pennsylvania

Aubrey Nicole, 19, didn’t get much of an overview or interview with producers, but did get emotional sharing that she’d watched “The Voice” for years and couldn’t believe she had a chance to be on the show, saying “my whole life, this is what I wanted.”

As she sang “Burning House,” McEntire turned her chair. And after the song was over, the country queen got choked up telling Nicole, “You know, sound penetrates walls, and boy, it went through this chair and hit my heart. You’ve got that gift to sing and portray that feeling to another person that needs it.”

Team Reba 2025: Aaron Nichols of Bakersfield, California

Aaron Nichols, a country crooner from California, has Michael Bublé worried. He, McEntire and Snoop turned for Nichols after he blazed through Chris Stapleton’s “Cold.” Bublé told him, “I turned and I said, ‘I might not have a chance, but Reba McEntire’s going to win ‘The Voice’ with this dude. At least I want to be able to say I had turned my chair and thrown my hat into the ring.”

Nichols did, indeed, choose McEntire as his coach, in large part because his wife is a huge fan. Afterwards, McEntire told producers, “That gravelly voice, very sexy and tough, I just love it!”

Snoop Dogg Tells Vinya Chhabra on ‘The Voice’ She Has ‘Superstar Quality’

Chhabra, who hails from New Jersey, is serious about music — specifically rock music. She was classically trained and has starred in multiple local theater productions, but her true love is rock. Chhabra sings lead vocals for a band of her peers, but she can also play drums, guitar, piano, ukulele, bass guitar, and cello, per Backstage.

She told producers before her audition, “This opportunity is so insane to have. I think there needs to be more women in rock. I hope to inspire young girls that want to be rockers.”

Bublé said he had to turn for a song by fellow Canadian Morissette, noting that he was harmonizing with Chhabra as she sang. He and fellow coach Niall Horan began to sing it again, and Chhabra chimed in.

Clearly impressed, Bublé said, “Vinya, a great man — Carson Daly — once said, ‘We need more rock on this show!’ And here it is.”

“Yeah, baby, I’m rockin’ out,” Snoop interjected. “I’m from the era of rock, rap, alternative all being meshed together. You give me the spirit — when I was to you, I was like, ‘Man, she sounds young but that voice sounds powerful.’ Then when I turned around and seen you said you’re 14 years old? You pack a powerful punch at your age!”

He continued, “And the way you handle this, like this, like you’re not nervous, you’re not afraid. You’re just taking it in. That’s superstar quality.”

After conferring with her parents onstage, Chhabra chose McEntire as her coach, which shocked the country superstar, who said she was “thrilled to pieces.”

Adam Levine’s Comeback to The Voice Sparks Drama Behind the Scenes

Adam Levine’s Return to ‘The Voice’ Is Upsetting Some NBC Employees: ‘Not Everyone Is Happy’

'The Voice' coach Adam Levine sitting in the red coaching chair with his leg up

Adam Levine announced that he’s returning to The Voice for season 27. Fans are ecstatic for Levine’s return, as he previously left the show in 2019. However, according to a source, some NBC employees aren’t happy about the Maroon 5 frontman returning to the series. Here’s what the source alleged.

A source says that Adam Levine’s return to ‘The Voice’ is making some NBC employees upset

Adam Levine can’t wait to get back to coaching on The Voice Season 27. The Maroon 5 frontman coached on the series for the first 16 seasons and had an infamous rivalry with Blake Shelton. He left in 2019 to spend more time with his family. In June 2024, Levine announced his imminent return on Instagram.

Levine posted an Instagram photo of himself on The Voice overlaid with texts from fans. The texts echoed the same sentiment—they want Levine to return to the show. After the texts, Levine spoke in the video about his announcement.

“Yeah, we’re back,” Levine says in the video. “We’re coming back. I’m coming back, is what I mean. Season 27. Yes, I’m coming back. I’m so excited. I cannot wait.”

He added that he’s “rested” and “ready to go,” though he’s a “little nervous” to get back in the game. “But I’m so excited, and it’s going to be great, and I can’t wait. It’s going to be awesome. Let’s go!”

While fans are ready to see Levine return to coaching, some NBC employees may not be as excited. “Not everyone is happy with Adam coming back to the show,” a source told DailyMail.com. “There have been many changes behind-the-scenes, but there are a lot of people still there from Adam’s time before and don’t like that he will be returning, because towards the end of his last run, he was cocky, arrogant, and seemed entitled.”

The source added that if Levine’s behavior doesn’t shift, NBC won’t hesitate to fire him. But the network hopes to drive viewership with his return.

“Adam provides some nostalgia, and he knows how it works,” the source explained. “It could lead to other opportunities with NBC Universal and would also keep him away from joining rival network shows like American Idol. It is being seen as a safe and defensive move to bring him back.”

The Maroon 5 star was allegedly difficult to work with on ‘The Voice’

Adam Levine is a controversial figure on The Voice. During Levine’s last season, season 16, an eyewitness told TVLine that the Maroon 5 frontman caused issues. He didn’t want to attend the season 16 semifinals because he had no singers on his team. During a performance with the other coaches, Levine appeared utterly “checked out.”

“Adam had been checked out for a while,” the insider said, according to Yahoo. “But this was a new low. It was essentially the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

Levine admitted that by season 16, he was ready to be finished coaching. “I think that when it all kind of naturally happened, I was like, ‘OK, it feels right,’” he told Howard Stern. “For better or worse, the moment in which we decided to walk away felt really good. It was the right time for me to go.”

Blake Shelton wants to see Kelsea Ballerini beat Adam Levine

John Legend, Michael Bublé, and Kelsea Ballerini will join Adam Levine as The Voice Season 27 coaches. Ballerini has never been a full-time coach on the show before, and she knows Levine is a formidable foe. However, Blake Shelton is helping her learn how to create a winning team.

“I feel very strongly I’m going to have to really fight Adam Levine,” she told People. “I know it’s a big deal that he’s coming back, but yeah — I feel like we’re going to be frenemies. Just kidding. However, I’ve gotten some pep talks from Blake about how to take him down!”

Fans would love for Shelton to return to compete against Levine, as in the first seasons of The Voice. However, Shelton hasn’t mentioned returning.

The singer has a lot going on at the moment (including the hit sitcom Happy’s Place).

is reba mcentire leaving the voice season 27

With The Voice season 26 about to come to a close and announce a new winner, a change is coming for the show that fans may be upset about.

Viewers of the NBC series are currently familiar with seeing Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani, Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé assisting the aspiring artists as the official coaches of season 26. But as it turns out, Michael is the only one of the quartet staying for season 27 in 2025, with Kelsea Ballerini making her coaching debut and John Legend and Adam Levine returning as mentors. But what does this mean for Reba, specifically?

Well, we hate to break the hearts of those who love the series, but Reba McEntire is leaving The Voice for season 27. Even though there’s always a chance for her to return for future seasons, there may be one major reason behind her choice to exit.

As some may be aware, Reba is currently starring in her own sitcom on NBC titled Happy’s Place. Currently airing its inaugural season, the singer reunited with Reba co-star Melissa Peterman for the project and is also working alongside her boyfriend Rex Linn on the series. Even though she didn’t explicitly say this was the reason behind her leaving The Voice, a report from Variety on November 21 did confirm a major update about what’s next with the sitcom.

According to the outlet, Happy’s Place got picked up for five more episodes by NBC, taking the total episode number from 13 to 18 in season 1. The publication also wrote that since its premiere on October 18, the show has managed to attract 14 million viewers across multiple platforms. What’s more, its Friday night regular time slot “has improved … by 90% among total viewers and 88% in the key adults 18-49 demographic.” This means, Reba will likely spend some time filming new episodes while awaiting a season 2 pickup from NBC.

For those wondering what Happy’s Place is about, Reba plays a woman who inherits her late father’s tavern (appropriately called Happy’s Place) and discovers she has a brand-new business partner — a much younger half-sister Isabella (played by Belissa Escobedo), whom she never knew about.

While we’re happy for Reba’s success with Happy’s Place, we’re definitely going to miss her. After all, Reba has appeared on and off The Voice since the show’s first season back in 2011. She initially was an advisor for original coach Blake Shelton in the season 1 Battle rounds and was also an advisor for the Knockout rounds in seasons 8 and 23.

We look forward to (hopefully) seeing Reba on The Voice again soon!

Although Kelly’s remark left people in hysterics, she also struck a serious tone during her 10-show residency. During the same performance, she sang a cover of Harry Styles’ “As It Was,” which she revealed was meant to be on a segment of her daytime program The Kelly Clarkson Show.

“We’re gonna go a little Kellyoke every night,” she explained ahead of time. “We were supposed to sing this actually on The Kelly Clarkson Show, and then all the [SAG-AFTRA and WGA] strikes happened and nobody has a job now. So, we didn’t get to perform it on the show.”

As for the status of her own romantic life, she is focusing on being a single mom to daughter River and son Remington (who she shares with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock). “I’m just enjoying me and I’m enjoying my children and I’m enjoying my work,” she told E! Blake Shelton may cry during Tuesday night’s The Voice finale, so he wrote out what he wanted to say ahead of showtime.

Season 23 of The Voice will be his last season, and the country singer sounds ready. Honestly, he sounds bewildered that he made it this far.

“It’s bittersweet,” he shares on social media, alongside photos of his nine winners and some of the other coaches. “When we signed up for Season 1, I don’t think any of us knew what this was going to be.”

The Voice season finale begins at 9PM ET on NBC.
Shelton could win for a 10th time with either Grace West or Noivas.
Reba McEntire will replace him for Season 24 in the fall.

These past 12 years I have made lifelong friends and memories. I’ve had the great opportunity to coach some really talented artists, 9 who have taken home #TeamBlake wins (let’s make that 10 tonight?), and watch these artists grow so much from the show. Thank you to everyone… the crew, the coaches, the contestants, the fans, and my wife who have made these some really great years. Love y’all!!!!!!

Talking to ExtraTV, Shelton says the last 12 years have been the most important chapter in his life and admits he could cry.

“Don’t misunderstand, it may be tears of joy,” he cracks.

“I think it won’t hit me until later, but I’ve got to tell you, when I was in the blind auditions and I hit my button the last time for Grace, it surprised me how I felt in that moment. So, who knows? I may break down and cry.”

Niall Horan’s team has Gina Miles in the finals, while Kelly Clarkson’s team has D.Smooth and Chance the Rapper has Sorelle.

Don’t expect one last performance from Shelton. He previously said he wants to sit back and watch instead, although some of the scheduled special guests could cajole him to the stage. We hear Gwen Stefani can be quite convincing!
