Ashley (Eileen Davidson) just returned to The Young and the Restless, but she’s ready to leave again.

The most recent episode featured Ashley telling Jack (Peter Bergman) she needed to work on herself in Paris following the whole Martin/Alan (Christopher Cousins) saga. Jack and fans were taken aback by the news.

After all, Ashley was only back from New York with Traci (Beth Maitland) for a hot second before she dropped her bombshell on her brother. Ashley will head back to Paris after Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) birthday party.

The character has been off and on the canvas for years. Last summer, Ashley was given the first major storyline she had had in years with her dissociative identity disorder. Since then, Ashley has predominantly remained off-screen on The Young and the Restless.

She has popped up for brief visits for special occasions like Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) wedding to Devon (Bryton James). That trend will continue when Ashley once again bids Genao City adieu for Paris.

Ashley is not used as a consistent player on the show because Davidson is no longer under contract with the CBS soap. Davidson is recurring, so she comes and goes when the writers need her to and when her schedule allows.

Although Y&R fans miss having Ashley around, other than her DID storyline, Ashley hasn’t been at the forefront for a long time. Therefore, the arrangement between Davidson and the show makes sense.

The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS.

Last year, Gwen and her husband,B lake Shelton, were forced to address rumors that their relationship was in trouble and this new single is only likely to have sparked whispers once more.

The lyrics to the track, which is a collaboration with Finneas, are about someone who is being ‘pushed away’ by their partner.

Gwen, 55, sings: “You can push me away/ Go ahead and make your mistakes.

“I won’t judge you/ Nothin’ that you can say if you want me to hate you

“I’m still gonna love you.”

The lyrics also include: “And I know you’re not trying/ To break my heart, but it still hurts the same.”

Still Gonna Love You features on Gwen’s Bouquet Deluxe album, which she released today (March 14).

The album features acoustic versions of every song on her Bouquet album, which dropped in November last year.

To add to the confusion, the cryptic song release comes after 48-year-old Blake also raised eyebrows with a bizarre announcement about “recreational use”.

It had the names ‘Blake, Gwen, Kingston, Zuma and Apollo’ hand embroided on it.

But less than three years down the line, the couple faced rumors that their marriage was on the rocks.

It came as fans noticed Gwen and Blake were spending a significant amount of time apart from each other.

They even celebrated New Years in different time zones, with Gwen marking it in Las Vegas while Blake performed at the WinStar World Casino and Resort in Oklahoma.

 

 

CLAPPING BACK

In January 2024, the couple hit back at claims their relationship was in trouble by putting on a united front.

Gwen held Blake’s hand in an Instagram Stories clip before she was inducted into Orange County ‘s Hall of Fame.

Weeks later, she posted a picture of a vase of purple flowers which were positioned alongside a note that read: “To Pretty Girl, Love Blake.”

Blake, 47, and Gwen, 52, began dating in 2015 after meeting on the set of the NBC reality show The Voice.

Both were fresh out of lengthy failed marriages.

After a five-year relationship, the celebrity couple got engaged in 2020.

The Hollaback Girl singer announced their engagement on social media as she flashed her blinged-out hand while sharing a kiss with her hubby.

Blake also shared the same picture on his Instagram, writing, “Hey Gwen, thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES!”

Less than a year later, on July 3, 2021, the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Blake’s Oklahoma ranch.

The two seem to have now found their forever loves, after leaving a trail of drama from past relationships behind them.

In December, The U.S. Sun even told how Gwen is planning to ‘quit’ The Voice after 10 years to spend more time with Blake and her kids.

Blake bowed out of the NBC show last year and insiders claim Gwen is showing signs of following in his footsteps.

According to a source close to Team Gwen, the pop star had “crying a lot” during the last season of The Voice.

“It was nonstop emotions, crying throughout this entire journey but you can tell it’s mostly rooted in joy and deep pride for the work she’s done,” the source said.

The insider added added that due to her behavior, “all signs are pointing” to her calling it quits after a 10-year run.

“She never outright said she was done with the show but it seems like she’s quitting, yeah. She’s done I think,” they added.

“Gwen wants to spend more time with her family now that Blake is also off the show.

“She really found a second home in Oklahoma and seeing Blake walk away from the show and prioritize his own music and their family life, I think made her realize what her next chapter can look like.”

Country superstar Reba McEntire is having a blast on season 26 of “The Voice,” but whether she’ll ever return to the show remains to be seen.

NBC previously revealed that McEntire, whose new sitcom on the network, “Happy’s Place,” premieres on October 18, won’t return for season 27. During an October 2024 interview with Us Weekly, the country queen did not give a direct answer when the magazine staff brought up “speculation” that this is her last season on “The Voice.”

When asked if there’s “any truth to that,” McEntire tiptoed around the question by simply saying, “I love ‘The Voice.’ I love being a part of the NBC family with ‘Happy’s Place.’ I’m having the time of my life.”

McEntire first joined “The Voice” for season 24, in the fall of 2023, replacing longtime coach and fellow country star Blake Shelton. She then returned for season 25, which she won with team member Asher HaVon.

But in June, NBC announced that season 27 of “The Voice” will not include McEntire as a coach. That season, which will air during the first half of 2025, features returning coaches Adam Levine, John Legend, and Michael Bublé (who’s currently on season 26), with country star Kelsea Ballerini getting her first full-time coaching gig on the show.

McEntire has not addressed why she isn’t returning for a fourth season, but the demanding schedule may have been an issue, since the season 27 foursome filmed their Blind Auditions over the summer, per Parade. Levine posted a photo on July 19 of the foursome, writing that they had just finished their first week of taping together.

McEntire already had a busy summer ahead filming season 26 and her new sitcom. On July 11, NBC shared video of the season 26 coaches during a photo shoot as they filmed their upcoming season. Meanwhile, McEntire’s new sitcom began filming on August 1, co-star Melissa Peterman shared on Instagram.

During season 26, which premiered on September 23, she’s having a particularly good time with her fellow coaches — returning coach Gwen Stefani and newcomers Bublé and Snoop Dogg, who was brought to tears on the season premiere when McEntire used the new Coach Replay button to save contestant Kendall Eugene, whom she didn’t originally turn her chair around for.

“Oh, he’s a pussycat,” she told Us Weekly of Snoop. “He’s so much fun. And he does get very emotional. He gets involved. So yeah, I was handing him quite a few Kleenexes.”

“Snoop in his own lane,” she continued. “He is different from anyone I’ve ever run into, and everybody loves him. He’s a really great addition.”

“With Michael Bublé,” McEntire told Us Weekly, “he’s just the biggest-hearted, biggest kid. I love him with all my heart. He’s so much fun to work with, to play with and we’re having a blast on ‘The Voice’ because of him. Gwen and I laugh our butts off at him. He and Gwen are good buddies.”

The coaches are enamored with McEntire, too, with Snoop even giving her a new nickname because of her ability to attract great contestants to her team.

“She’s a magnet for talent,” Snoop said in a promo for the show. “She says all the right things… Reba Magnet-tire, that’s what we call her on the set.”

“She doesn’t even have to say nothing sometimes,” he added, “like, sometimes people just come on (her team) just to be with her.”

While building her team during the Blind Auditions, which wrap up on October 15, McEntire has frequently reminded season 26 contestants that she won the previous season. She told Us Weekly she thinks she could win again.

She told the outlet, “I could! My team is very, very strong.”

During a recent episode, the One Direction star managed to nab another singer for his team.

The show shared a clip on Instagram of Niall celebrating his achievement.

At the beginning of the clip, Niall was running back to his seat and jumping for joy.

Gwen Stefani was booing Niall as he was grinning at the three other judges.

The pair were fighting over Brailey Lenderman who wowed them with her talent.

Speaking in the clip Reba said: “I’ve got one spot left so I’m just waiting for that final piece of the puzzle to make my puzzle complete.”

Niall came back and spoke about Brailey’s husband Tom.

He said: “She’s right the husband is a good-looking man. They call him Hot Tom.”

John replied: “Hot Tom? They call him Hot Tom?”

Niall then revealed he had injured himself when he was jumping for joy.

He said: “Yeah even the mother calls him Hot Tom and I also think I just pulled a hamstring no joke. I’m not even joking.”

The judges were laughing at Niall but Reba jokingly said they needed a “medic”.

Fans were concerned about Niall and they told him to be careful in the Instagram comment section.

Lauren commented saying: “Niall! Take care of your legs!”

One follower said: “Aww poor Niall.”

Another fan wrote: “Nialler you better be careful please for your fans.”

While Kimie also commented saying: “Be careful @niallhoran, you’ll pull another hammy!”

During a previous episode, Niall got into a firey row with his co-star Reba over a singer as she called him a “wild one”.

The show shared a clip on their Instagram page where Reba was trying to win over a singer.

Speaking at the beginning of the clip, she said: “Well if you did choose as your coach you know we’d have…”

However, Niall interrupted her speech as he pushed a button that had some pre-recording from his friend Blake Shelton who left the show last year.

The clip said: “Niall is like a son to me.”

This made everyone burst out laughing and Reba tried to continue speaking but Niall interrupted her again as the next clip said: “Niall is a global superstar.”

Reb asked her co-star: “How much did you pay him?”

Gwen chimed in saying: “I am so mad at him right now.”

Niall then said: “I told you our relationship was strong. Sorry Reba, sorry go.”

Reba stood up and walked over to Niall putting herself in front of him and his button.

She continued saying: “We would be having a lot of fun picking the songs together because we do know…”

However, he managed to slip by her and the next message said: “Niall is an attractive guy.”

She called herself “the queen” as she jokingly said to the singer: “I would keep you away from Niall because he’s a wild man.”

The show captioned the video saying: “@niallhoran LOVES to push @reba’s buttons… literally.”

The 31-year-old pop star recently wrapped up his ‘The Show’ world tour – which served as promotion for his third studio album of the same name – and told fans on the final night that he intends to take a break but insisted that he will be back at some point.

Speaking live on stage during his show at the Movistar Arena in Colombia on Wednesday (09.10.24) evening, he told the crowd: “This stands from tomorrow onwards, you’ll never find me. I’m gonna be hungover as f*** tomorrow! And I’m gonna disappear for a while. I’m gonna make you guys a brand new album and I will be back, I promise.”

Niall previously noted how his current album is “more mature” than anything he has released in the past.

He told BANG Showbiz: “It’s definitely the most different, the sound of it has matured a lot. It’s kind of a conceptual album about the things in your life. ‘The Show’ is a metaphor for life in this case, and all the spokes of the wheel that make up your life experience.”

The ‘Heaven’ hitmaker shot to fame alongside Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik as part of the billion-dollar boyband One Direction, who were created on ‘The X Factor UK’ in 2010 but he previously admitted that he has never really “got used” to the idea that he is known around the world.

During an appearance on ‘Entertainment Tonight’ in Toronto, Canada, he said: “If you get used to the attention that comes with this job, there’s something wrong with you. But it’s crazy, isn’t it? When you take a deep dive into it. It is nuts that on a cold, wet afternoon in Toronto they are all out there in their thousands. Snoop Dogg and Suge Knight have had a very contentious relationship ever since their Death Row bond broke down in the late 1990s.

Snoop Dogg recently released his new album Iz It A Crime?, which features guests like Sexyy Red, Wiz Khalifa, and many more. However, perhaps the record’s most notable celebrity crossover is a series of disses toward his former Death Row Records boss, Suge Knight.

As caught by XXL, the new Snoop LP features a track called “ShutYoB***hA**Up” featuring Stresmatic. While Tha Doggfather doesn’t outright name Suge, it’s not hard to see where the shots are.

“I can see why you mad, I bought everything you own / Now you in PC snitching on the phone,” he raps on the cut. “And if he hit the main line, he gon’ see what we bout / Oh, b***h-a** n***a, I’m a rich-a** n***a / Waiting for you to get home so we can get the s**t on / I stayed up n***a, paid up n***a / Your jailhouse stories, they made up, n***a.“

In addition, Snoop Dogg calls Suge Knight out for allegedly being a “rat” and claims he’s in dire need of money to cover his legal woes. As for the “I bought everything you own” line, that’s referencing Snoop’s purchase of Death Row.

Snoop Dogg Iz It A Crime

For those unaware, these two West Coast hip-hop legends have been at odds ever since 1998 or so. This is when the Long Beach icon left Death Row, and their relationship did not get better since. While they have reconciled on a few occasions, Suge Knight is firmly against Snoop Dogg for a couple of reasons.

The first is the Death Row purchase, which Suge criticized Snoop for on multiple occasions. There are also conflicting reports concerning the murder of Tupac Shakur. Specifically, they relate to the upcoming trial of Duane “Keefe D” Davis, the main murder suspect in this case.

Suge accused Snoop of trying to bail Keefe D out, something he staunchly denied. For all these reasons and more, Snoop Dogg went at Suge Knight fierily on this new track.

“It’s gets to a point… I’m from the hood,” Snoop said of the song on Big Boy’s Neighborhood. “You can’t keep throwing rocks at me and bullying me and think I ain’t gon’ say nothing or do nothing. I can’t do nothing. ’Cause you in PC. But I can say something.”

A woman has filed a civil lawsuit accusing American rapper Snoop Dogg of assault after she attended one of his concerts in 2013.

The lawsuit was filed on Wednesday, days before Snoop Dogg is set to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show with other hip-hop artists near Los Angeles.

The woman was identified as Jane Doe and described as a dancer, model, host and actress who had worked with Snoop Dogg.

In the lawsuit filed in the Central District of California against Calvin Broadus aka Snoop Dogg, the woman said Snoop Dogg entered a bathroom she was using and assaulted her.

“Plaintiff found herself thinking about her job security if she displeased Defendant Snoop Dogg,” the complaint said. “Plaintiff felt pressured by defendant Snoop Dogg due to his dominance, and his position of power over her, including his ability to hire and fire her and ensure that she would never be hired in his industry again.”

Representatives for Snoop Dogg did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The woman said in the lawsuit she was also assaulted earlier in the evening by a Snoop Dogg employee who is also named as a defendant. The parties tried to resolve the matter through mediation, the complaint said.

On Instagram on Wednesday, Snoop Dogg wrote that “Gold digger season is here be careful… keep ya guards up. And. Keep ya circle small.”

The lawsuit, which seeks unspecified damages, said the post appeared shortly after mediation talks broke down.

“The Price is Right” is mostly known for offering cars and vacations as prizes, and the host, Drew Carey, is pretty enthusiastic about contestants winning those. He has learned a lot about what goes on behind the scenes, and when he’s not on set, the veteran host doesn’t shy away from revealing some of the things he doesn’t like about the popular game show.

On one occasion, he revealed that he wasn’t a fan of the grandfather clocks that the show used to give away as prizes. “The first season, we would give away a grandfather clock every show, and I never got it. Every time there would be a grandfather clock, I’d be there with my mic like, ‘Alright, well, I guess people like grandfather clocks. I’m just going to shut up,’” he said, according to a report in Closer.

Carey also revealed that all the prizes were stored in a massive warehouse, and the crew members get the chance to buy leftover items from that warehouse for a discounted price. “There’s a prize warehouse where they have bedroom sets and stuff,” he said. “At the end of the season, the crew can buy washers, dryers, beds, and leftover stuff they sell at discount prices.” The host is not the only one who has criticized the prizes given away on the show. Fans do that as well, and a lot more than he does. Being the face of the show, those criticisms often land on him despite Carey probably not being that involved in the decision-making process of choosing the prizes. However, he still speaks highly of the show, on which he has received a lot of love and appreciation from fans.

Carey usually has to put on a happy face during taping, but that doesn’t stop him from taking the occasional jab at the showrunners for something that he believes might be drab. That’s what happened in a recent episode of the show in which the host wasn’t all that impressed with one of the prizes. It wasn’t the grandfather clock on this occasion, but something a lot more boring. According to a report by TV Insider, the prize was a pencil sharpener. The contestant was a man named Lisa Hoshauer, and she was playing the Make Your Move game. This game usually has three prizes on display, and Carey wasn’t pleased when George Gray announced the reward. “Yes!” the host yelled. “Most exciting hour of daytime television.”

 

“I know the pencil sharpener doesn’t sound all that glamorous, but who wants to live in a world with dull pencils? Not me. Not Drew Carey,” the host added later on. After explaining the game to the contestant, the host took another swipe at the prize. “Imagine getting on the plane to the Hamptons with a pocket of sharp pencils and TSA can’t do anything about it,” he joked.

Although millions of people know Snoop Dogg for his contributions to the music industry (and American culture in general), his most outstanding achievement is arguably the love that exists between him and all six of his grandkids.

“I am a grandfather of six, with one on the way, and my grandkids are my everything because they all individually get a piece of my heart and they’re different,” he explained to People in 2023. “My grandpa was my best friend and for me to be that for my grandkids is showing that I actually did well and I was able to outlive the circumstances. Now I can look back — I can teach those who want to get to this level. Or at least give them a blueprint and help them avoid some of the traps that I had to deal with.”

‘The Voice’ Teases Cryptic Announcement as Fans Speculate Return of 2-Time Winning Coach

The Voice recently wrapped up another successful season, with Asher HaVon taking the crown for Team Reba McEntire. Next season, slated for this fall, brings an almost entirely new crop of coaches. Season 25 champ Reba is the lone two-time returner, with former coach Gwen Stefani also joining the “Fancy” singer. Newcomers Michael Buble and Snoop Dogg will fill out the other two big red chairs. On Tuesday (June 4), The Voice‘s official Instagram account shared a cryptic post. The first slide features white letters on a black background and bears the message “Coach Announcement Incoming.”

When fans swipe right, they see a second post announcing “2025 Coaches.” Below that are the words “Team” four times, each followed by an assortment of blanks representing letters. Viewers are clearly meant to guess the names.

Some users pointed out that The Voice has already confirmed the coaching lineup for season 26. However, that season will air in the fall of 2024, meaning the post is likely referring to season 27.

Many viewers hoped for a return of a two-time champ, as Niall Horan was far and above the most guessed coach. Fans have made their desire to see the “Slow Hands” singer quite clear since he stepped back after season 24 to focus on touring.
