‘Wheel of Fortune’: Ryan Seacrest & Vanna White Spill Show Secrets & Talk Working Together

Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White spilled Wheel of Fortune secrets in a behind-the-scenes video. The cohosts talked about working together and what they do during the commercial breaks, but Seacrest wants to change one thing.

WPXI-TV News in Pittsburgh went to the set of the game show in California to talk to Seacrest and White. “Wheel of Fortune has been coming to homes for 50 years, giving you something to look forward to every evening,” the anchor Jennifer Tomazic said.

She revealed that the wheel is “heavier than it looks.” Tomazic said that something fans don’t see on their screens is Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White off-camera. White gave an introduction and welcomed the audience as Seacrest walked over and waved to the crowd before filming started for the day.

Tomazic sat down with them and Ryan Seacrest had nothing but nice things to say about his cohost. “This is who we really are. We’re not playing a role,” he said.

“It’s been seamless working with Vanna. She is as everyone would expect her to be, lovely in every moment of the day. But, I think having known her for a long time made it more comfortable for me to come in,” he said. Seacrest took over hosting duties at the beginning of Season 41 after Pat Sajak retired from the game show.

Tomzaic shared that the contestants get a chance to practice before it is time to tape and then the “well-oiled machine” takes off.

“It’s as face-paced in the studio as it is at home,” she said. Commercial breaks are busy for the hosts as they take questions and fix their hair and makeup. Six shows are filmed in one day with 15 minutes in between each episode. “I’d like nine, but yes it’s 15,” Ryan Seacrest admitted.

“He tries to make it nine,” Vanna White said. “‘Come on! Come on, V-dubs. Aren’t you dressed yet?” she mocked. Seacrest laughed but also nodded his head in agreement.

However, something that helps in between is that White tries on 20 to 30 dresses before the tapings start for the day, so she can match the theme, and quickly change her outfits.

About the show’s legacy, White said that Wheel of Fortune brings families together and thinks that being able to play at home is what makes the show last.

Finally good news in the family of Michael Buble!

The Canadian singer and his wife Luisana Lopilato have confirmed that their son Noan is “making good progress” during treatment for liver cancer.

Buble shared the good news on his Facebook page after his sister-in-law told reporters that the 3-year-old was cancer-free.

“We are very happy to announce that our son Noah has progressed well during the treatment and the doctors are very optimistic about the future of our little one,” the 41-year-old artist said in his statement.

However, there is a discrepancy in their statements as Lopilato’s sister says that Noah no longer has cancer, while Buble stated that he is just doing well. Maybe the “Haven’t Met You Yet” star is trying to be careful.

Michael Bublé is opening up about his son’s cancer diagnosis.

While appearing on an episode of the Diary of a CEO podcast, the singer, 48, was asked by host Steven Bartlett about a time when he felt like his priorities in life shifted, prompting him to open up about his 10-year-old son Noah’s liver cancer diagnosis.

“My son’s cancer diagnosis rocked my world,” Bublé began. “It pulled the curtain from over my eyes.”

“And that was a sledgehammer to my reality. And I will never be carefree and that’s okay. It is a privilege for me to exist and that pain, the fear, the suffering that comes with those sort of things is I guess it’s part of that beautiful, this life.”

Bublé then clarified his statements, sharing that he thinks he was going through a crisis before his son got sick.

“I don’t think I had my priorities straight. I mean my family was always my love but I don’t think I was a terrible guy but dude, it was blinders. Career. Ambition. How do I become the baddest, biggest, best. You know, more ego, more power, more money,” he shared.

“And on Halloween, however many years ago that was, dude it’s like life was lived with a curtain in front of me. Like a filter. And the moment that they said this is what’s happening, that reality hit me.”

“Filter gone. And I mean, in a moment. In one moment. Gone. And I went, ‘Ok. This is it. This is life. This is it, this is what’s important.’”

The “Haven’t Met You Yet” singer shares his four kids — Noah, Elias, 7, Vida, 5, and Cielo, 15 months — with wife Luisana Lopilato.

Bublé’s son Noah was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2016 at age 3. He’s been in remission since 2017.

During an interview with Australia’s Today Show last October, Bublé described the ordeal as “the worst possible thing that you could hear as a parent, and as maybe a human being,” adding, “I much rather would have it have been me. Many times I wish that it had been.”

In 2021, the musician talked with PEOPLE about how his son Noah’s battle with liver cancer changed him, saying, “I live a much deeper life now.”

“I don’t wish that kind of pain upon any human being, but I do feel that when you’ve truly suffered, when you’ve truly felt fear and loss, it allows you to live a deeper life,” said Bublé. “Once you’ve felt those things, you are able, in context, to truly feel joy, gratitude and happiness.”

“My grandpa used to say, ‘Today’s curse is tomorrow’s blessing,’ ” he continued. “Even though for some of us who have lost so much these last few years, whether it’s our jobs or our loved ones, it doesn’t all come with negative connotations. There’s always a silver lining to that cloud.”

Adam Levine Debuted a Shocking, Ultra-Light Hair Change During Voice Playoffs

Adam Levine isn’t afraid to switch up his hair — and his latest dye job for The Voice Playoffs confirms that.

    Rock stars gonna rock star!

Adam Levine, returning Coach on The Voice, just debuted a major hair change, and his fellow Coaches have a lot to say about it.

What color is Adam Levine’s hair?

Though his hair and beard were equally dark during rehearsals, when the Maroon 5 frontman showed up for performance day of the Playoffs (airing April 28), he was basically two-toned, with the hair on his head lighter. Much lighter.

“There’s a debate backstage as to what color that is,” Michael Bublé explained.

“You could call it blonde, you could call it silver,” offered Kelsea Ballerini, careful to note that “grey” is probably not what he was going for.

John Legend was happy to go there, though, speculating that Levine thought to himself, “‘Maybe I should come back with actual grey hair to denote my OG status.’”

Levine himself described it as a “platinum-y, icy white color.” From certain angles, you could almost call it minty.

Adam Levine’s new ‘do is a hit

After her Playoff performance (which ultimately sent her though to the Live Shows), Artist Iris Herrera complimented Levine’s style, telling him, “I love your hair; this is a move,” to which Legend added, “It’s the talk of the town.” But perhaps Bublé summed it up best with his analysis: “It’s like Dick Van Dyke and David Beckham had a baby…sexy.”

Levine knew the look would work because he’s done it before! When he first went blonde back in 2014, he told E! News, “I wanted to do something crazy. I don’t know why I did it…I really couldn’t tell you logically there was a reason. I just wanted to do it and honestly, it’s so much of a headache now I might want to shave my head or something.”

A face tattoo is the one look Adam Levine won’t try (for real)

In a November 30, 2021 Instagram Story (see here) posted by Levine’s wife, Behati Prinsloo, fans could clearly see a tattoo of a flower near Levine’s left temple. Yes, the singer has plenty of ink all over his body, but a face tat? “This message is for my mother,” Levine reassured fans during a follow-up Instagram video. “I do not have a tattoo on my face. For those that know me know that I’m too vain, I’m too f—ing vain to get a tattoo on my face. I’ll tattoo the rest of this, but the face has got to stay the same.”

Does ‘The Voice’ need a format change? Frustrated fans think so

Some fans of “The Voice” are frustrated with the singing competition’s current format.

Since season 26, which aired in the fall of 2024, “The Voice” viewers don’t get to vote until only eight contestants remain in the competition. During past seasons, the voting began earlier, often at the top 12 or the top 13.

Not only does the new format give fans fewer opportunities to weigh in, it also leads to some pretty dramatic eliminations. During the Playoffs round, each coach must pare their team down from five contestants to two, which means the competition goes from the top 20 to the top 8 in just two episodes.

It’s a bit of a bloodbath to watch six contestants — all of whom were talented enough to make it through the Blind Auditions, the Battles, and the Knockouts — get eliminated in a single episode.

“I don’t like how they go from top 20 to top 8,” one viewer commented on a YouTube video of a performance by season 27 contestant Conor James, who seemed like a potential winner until he was cut during the Playoffs. “Bring back top 12, top 10, top 8, top 5 & Finale.”

“Agreed. Cutting each [team] down from 5 to 2 [contestants] is brutal,” another person chimed in. “They should have saves or steals available in the playoffs.”

“I hate it,” a third fan wrote. “It gives such little time for the live rounds and barely allows the audience to get involved in the process.”

When the format change was first introduced in the fall, one fan wrote via Reddit that “The Voice” needs to “slow down the amount of eliminations.”

“It’s such a drastic cut in such a short time,” the viewer wrote. “It’s hard to get connected to artists when they’re gone so quickly.”

Another fan went so far as to say that the top 8 shouldn’t necessarily be comprised of two contestants from each coach’s team.

Britton Moore, The Voice - Season 27

“It’s not fair to kick off singers with the best voices to keep the teams equal. I say when you get down to the final 20 let the best singer win regardless of whose team they are on,” the viewer wrote. “I hate seeing favorites leave just because they’re on the wrong team. May the BEST voice win!”

“The Voice” has changed its format before, so time will tell whether the show reverts back to fewer eliminations ahead of the live rounds. Season 27 coaches Adam Levine and Kelsea Ballerini called it “brutal” and “uncomfortable” to eliminate three contestants each during the Monday, April 28, Playoffs premiere.

Coaches John Legend and Michael Bublé will be forced to do the same during round two of the Playoffs on Monday, May 5.

The Voice Recap: The Playoffs End With a Major Twist Ahead of the Lives

After the tease with which the April 28 episode of The Voice ended, we all kinda guessed, didn’t we, that coaches John Legend, Adam Levine, Michael Bublé and Kelsea Ballerini would be allowed to invite back an eliminated contestant ahead of the Lives. And indeed, in the final moments of Monday’s episode, they were informed that they could use another Super Save to return one singer apiece to the competition. Which ones? That, we wouldn’t find out until next week. In the meantime, let’s review how Michael and John’s teams fared on the second and last night of the Playoffs.

    TEAM MICHAEL BUBLÉ

Kaiya Hamilton, “If You Love Somebody, Set Them Free” (Grade: A) | Like Kaiya, I was like, “Are you sure about this?” when I heard that her coach had assigned her Sting’s hit. But damn! She turned it into a gritty ditty that allowed her to come off like a total boss. Kelsea exclaimed afterwards that Kaiya “ate and left no crumbs.”

Angie Rey, “How Do I Live” (Grade: C+) | You know how sometimes you’ll be in Party City and hear a song that you know, but it doesn’t sound quite right — like, you can tell it’s a knockoff cover? That’s what Angie’s rendition of LeAnn Rimes ballad was like. Not that the coaches reacted at all that way. “Eleven out of 10,” they declared.

Jadyn Cree, “99 Red Balloons” (Grade: B+) | Definitely my favorite Jadyn performance to date. She started out singing in a quirky, twee voice and went on to prove why she’s a natural fit for the ’80s cover band she fronts. She is able to nail that odd hiccupy vocal quality that made a star of Cyndi Lauper. “You were in your zone,” John said.

Barry Jean Fontenot, “Until I Found You” (Grade: B) | Maybe I’m just too familiar with Stephen Sanchez’s original version of this gorgeous ballad to have fully appreciated Barry’s rendition. I liked it — quite a bit, really. But it only approached the top instead of go over it all the way into excellent territory. Good, not quite great.
THE VOICE -- "Playoff Rounds" Episode -- Pictured: Adam David -- (Photo by: Greg Gayne/NBC)
Adam David, “I Shall Be Released” (Grade: A) | Adam gave me serious Father John Misty vibes on his Dylan cover — and, in case it’s unclear, that’s a good thing. Adam looked entirely at home on stage and delivered a spectacular roar of a vocal. Next to Lucia Flores-Wiseman, I’m pretty sure he’s the contestant I’m rooting for the hardest.

Advanced to the Semi-Finals | Adam David, Jadyn Cree

Eliminated | Kaiya Hamilton, Angie Rey, Barry Jean Fontenot

    TEAM JOHN LEGEND

Bryson Battle, “pov” (Grade: A) | For more than half of Ariana Grande’s ballad, I really wondered whether John had chosen the best possible showcase for Bryson. He navigated the tricky aspects just fine, I just wasn’t wowed. But then the song invited him to let loose and belt, and he was able to really remind us why he’s such a contender.

BD.ii, “All My Life” (Grade: C) | Wake me when it’s over. By and large, I’m a BD.ii fan, but his rendition of K-Ci and JoJo’s smash was flat and lifeless. And I might have been able to just focus on BD.ii’s appealing tone if it hadn’t felt so much like he’d sleepwalked through the number. Nevertheless, his coach called this his best performance yet.

Olivia Kuper Harris, “What Was I Made For” (Grade: A) | It’s quite a feat to be able to stand stock still and regardless deliver a compelling performance, but Olivia 100% pulled it off. She was pitch-perfect, present and vocally stunning. “Every note had intention and beauty and musicality,” John marveled when she was done.
THE VOICE -- "The Playoffs Part 2" Episode 2713 -- Pictured: Kaiya Hamilton -- (Photo by: Greg Gayne/NBC)
Ari Camille, “Rain” (Grade: B+) | Though SWV’s ’90s classic may not have been the most dynamic showcase for Ari’s abilities, she still managed to shine, turning out a sultry vocal that kept reeling me in over and over again. John hit the nail on the head when he said that everything she did, every note she hit, was “stylish.”

Renzo, “Too Sweet” (Grade: A) | Serving rock-god realness, Renzo was straight-up fire — so much so that he should’ve had smoke coming out of his ears. His Hozier cover was at turns strategic and nuanced, then unleashed and ferocious. “It just feels like you’re already a star,” his coach commented afterwards. And how.

Advanced to the Semi-Finals | Renzo, Bryson Battle

Kelsea said: “Jaelen, Jaelen, Jaelen, from the jump, you told the stories in your own voice but stayed true to the heart of what it’s saying. I love you, dude. Good stuff.”

Song: “Nobody Gets Me” by Sza

Kelsea said: “Every time you get on this stage, I feel like we get the honor of watching you become. In front of our eyeballs, we get to watch you grow and evolve into who you’re going to continue to be. Song: “Finesse” by Bruno Mars

Adam said: “Kolby is brand-new to my team. This is our first big moment working together. I’ve got to tell you, man, you’ve just shot up as, to me, the biggest and best on the show. I couldn’t be more proud in such a short period of time. Unbelievable.”

    Team Kelsea: Tinika Wyatt

Song: “I Can Only Imagine” by MercyMe

Kelsea said: “That was so beautiful…the fact that you’re using your moment to worship and to hold this space. Just so beautiful and important. I think you just blessed a lot of people. You’re very special.”

    Team Adam: Ethan Eckenroad

Song: “The Night We Met” by Lord Huron

Adam said: “This song is great. There’s not much to it. It’s simple. Just the identity of the whole performance and the song that we chose and the way you sang it, I’m just really proud of you. I’m proud that you ended up on my team. You couldn’t have done a better job, man.”

    Team Kelsea: Darius J

    Song: “Hey Ya!” by Outkast

Kelsea said: “This was our first round together. I have been fighting to have Darius on my team since the very beginning. I’m like a moth to the flame with you because I’m so attracted to your artistry. Song: “Somewhere Only We Know” by Keane

Adam said: “Here you are singing the crap out of that which is not an easy song and really making an incredible mark on this competition. Congratulations.”

Who did the judges eliminate on The Voice Season 27 2025 tonight?

Then it was time for Kelsea to decide which two of her artists were going to the live shows.

The first artist that Kelsea selected to advance to the live shows was Iris Herrera.

“Whatever the opposite is of a one-trick pony is what Iris is,” Kelsea said. “Careers are all about right place, right time, right people. She’s a true testament to that. Season 26, no chairs, and then she’s in the Lives.”

The second artist Kelsea picked to finish her team was Alanna Lynise.

“Alanna is moving forward to the live shows because everything she’s shown is top tier, top shelf,” Kelsea said.

    Then it was Adam’s turn.

His first choice to move on to the Lives was Lucia Flores-Wiseman.

“I think Lucia is one to watch because Lucia is a beautiful voice but a unique soul. Forget The Voice, I am a fan. I want to hear her record.”

Adam’s second and final choice was Kolby Cordell.

“Kolby decided to become a big old star in front of ours right now,” Adam said. “This guy can go on to win this thing. He’s got the charisma, he’s got the voice, he’s got the swag. Going into the Lives, Team Adam is extremely strong.”

Tune in to The Voice next Monday night at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC for part two of the Playoffs. Streams next day on Peacock.

Forget everything you thought you knew – this unprecedented twist will pit contestants against each other in ways never before imagined, sending shockwaves through the competition and potentially crushing fan favorites

‘The Voice’ Adds a Surprise Twist for the Season 27 Live Shows

The Voice Season 27 Playoffs just wrapped tonight with coaches Adam Levine, Kelsea Ballerini, John Legend and Michael Bublé having had to whittle down their teams from five artists to the two going through to the Lives.

Last week, Adam chose Kolby Cordell and Lucia Flores-Wiseman to move on to the Lives and Kelsea selected Iris Herrera and Alanna Lynise. Tonight, Michael chose Adam David
and Jadyn Cree, while John went with Bryson Battle and RENZO.

John was moaning all night about the fact that he really needed to pick three artists, not two. And, lo and behold, he got his wish.

At the end of the episode, host Carson Daly called a huddle with the four coaches and told them, “I come with great news.  We always intended to keep the best artists on this show for the longest amount of time. We are going to allow each of you to bring back one more artist for the top of the live shows. The Super Save is on.”

“Do you know how much stress you unnecessarily put on us?” John told him. “They didn’t tell me I was going to be able to pick three all along.”

Adam got on it right away and made a call to his third choice, saying, “I am really happy to tell you, you’re coming back.”

We didn’t see who he was speaking to, but it sounded like a guy on the other end, which is because the three artists he has to choose from are Ethan Eckenroad, Britton Moore and Conor James. My money is on Conor, but Adam always surprises me with choices, so we’ll have to wait for the live shows to find out.

Kelsea said, “I feel like Santa Claus. Ho Ho Ho. Give me the phone, it’s Christmas.”

Kelsea’s remaining artists are Darius J, Jaelen Johnston, and Tinika Wyatt. I was surprised when Kelsea didn’t select Jaelen as one of her two, so possibly he will be her selection.

John can pick from Ari Camiile, BD.ii, and Olivia Kuper Harris, and I don’t have a guess here, although if pushed, I might choose Olivia.

Then Michael’s remaining artists are Barry Jean Fontenot, Angie Rey and Kaiya Hamilton, and I say it will be one of the two women.

We’ll meet the Super Save artists next week when The Voice goes live on Monday, May 12 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.

‘The Voice’ Has Epic News to Share About Which Superstars Will Mentor the Playoff Rounds

Two Grammy Award-winning artists are causing a stir for the season 27 Playoff Rounds.

preview for Everything You Need to Know About “The Voice”

The Voice is just weeks away from crowing the winner of season 27, and we can’t believe how incredible the talent has been so far! As the competition continues to dwindle down to the top contenders, the show felt it was only right to deliver a twist that fans will most definitely want to pay attention to.

Ever since the season 27 premiere back in February, viewers have seen Kelsea Ballerini, Michael BubléAdam Levine and John Legend coach their artists throughout the competition. While the quartet brought in legendary musicians to help them through the Battle Rounds, The Voice decided to tap into its musical catalog to find new Mega Mentors for the Playoff Rounds.

According to a report from Variety on April 14, The Voice will welcome Sheryl Crow and LeAnn Rimes as Mega Mentors for season 27. The outlet writes the duo will “lend their expertise as music superstars” to help the remaining competitors prepare for the most challenging rounds yet.

As far as what fans can expect from the Playoff Rounds, after the contestants sing, Kelsea, Adam, Michael and John will choose two artists from each of their teams to move on to the live shows. Viewers will get to see Sheryl and LeAnn appear onscreen for the first time beginning on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

So, what makes Sheryl and LeAnn fit to be part of The Voice season 27? In addition to both of them being Grammy Award winners (Sheryl has three Grammys, while LeAnn has two Grammys under her belt), each have their own experiences working on The Voice franchise.

Fans may remember Sheryl first appeared on The Voice as a Battle Rounds advisor for Blake Shelton back in season 4. And while LeAnn will make her debut as a mentor on the U.S. version of the series, she was a coach on both The Voice Australia and The Voice U.K. in 2024.

Now, this is an epic celebrity moment we can’t wait to see!

The Voice’s Season 27 Frontrunner Sparks a Heated Debate: Where Do You Stand On Her Unique Tone?

One thing you’ve gotta say about The Voice’s Lucia Flores-Wiseman: Nobody is on the fence about her. I was a fan from the first time I heard the 22-year-old, when her Blind Audition inspired her future coach Adam Levine as well as John Legend, Michael Bublé and Kelsea Ballerini to turn their chairs.

A lotta viewers seemed to share my admiration for Flores-Wiseman, too. In fact, when I dared to give her Knockouts rendition of Benson Boone’s “Slow It Down” a grade of C- — largely owing to it having been absolutely the wrong song choice for her — boy, did I hear about it in the recap comments.

But along the way, I’ve noticed that my fave has amassed a number of detractors, too. After what I thought what a gorgeous rendition of “My Funny Valentine” in the Battles, one recap reader remarked, “I had to go find video of [American Idol’s] Melinda Doolittle singing that song just to get Lucia’s tortured version out of my head.

Following Flores-Wiseman’s flawless cover of The Beatles’ “In My Life” in the Playoffs — you can listen above — the backlash grew. “If [she] ends up winning, I’m done watching the show,” grumbled one commenter. Another rattled off the names of four eliminated contestants that she felt were “all far better singer/performers than Lucia. Can’t believe Adam kept her.”

I get it. Flores-Wiseman’s voice may be an acquired taste. The word that always comes to my mind to describe her tone is “tangy.” I dig it. (She kinda reminds me of Victoria Williams.) Some people don’t. But I’m curious: How many of you are actually with me in rooting for her to win Season 27, and how many are more like, “Thank you, next”? Make your feelings known in the poll below, then back up your response in the comments.

The Voice Season 27 continued the third stage of the competition on Monday with the third installment of “Knockouts” performances. In this round, each coach will set four head-to-head matchups from their team and will be forced to choose only four winners. While they won’t be able to save any of the losers from their own team, each coach will have a Steal to bring a loser from another team with them to “The Playoffs.” By the end of the round’s 16 performances, 20 artists will remain in the competition.

One hallmark of this round is that the artists get to choose their own song to perform rather than have it selected by their coach, as was done in the “Battles.” Another is that without guest mentors assisting during rehearsals, it’s the first time that John LegendKelsea BalleriniMichael Bublé and Adam Levine get to work one-on-one with the artists on their team.

    Team Legend

In the first performance of the night, John paired Nell Simmons (one of his “favorite performances of the Battles”) with Chaka Khan‘s “Sweet Thing” against Renzo (“so unique as an artist”) the Billie Eilish track “happier than ever.” Following the two performances, John said that Nell was “poised” and called her performance “perfection” while it was “so cool” watching Renzo go through different waves of his vocal and thinks it was great working with his artistry. In the end, John stuck with Renzo because he’s “so different” from anyone else in the competition.

For the team’s second pairing of the night, John chose the “sultry” Olivia Kuper Harris with Donna Summer‘s “Last Dance” versus the “piercing” vocals of Jacquelyn George with “Too Little Too Late” by JoJo. John told Jacquelyn her soprano is “effortless” and she performs with “clarity and beauty.” He thinks Olivia gave a “confident performance,” knowing when to be sultry and when to have more fun with the song. Due to her “style and control,” John picked Olivia as the winner to continue to the next round.

    Team Bublé

Michael’s first Knockout of the night came from Adam David and Carlos Santiago, a pairing he decided on because of their “beautiful voices” despite occupying different genres. Adam went with the Allen Stone soul/rock song “Unaware” while Carlos sang “You Are the Reason” by Callum Scott. Following their performances, Michael called Carlos “unbelievable” and heard a “character voice” from Adam, but ultimately gave the win to Adam for a “dexterity and power” that will be strong in the live shows.

In the second pairing of the night for his team, Michael set Jadyn Cree with “Keep Holding On” by Avril Lavigne against Kameron Jaso with “Say You Won’t Let Go” by James Arthur. Following their performances on stage, Michael told Kameron that he thinks he’ll be a star and applauded him for taking on a song he was scared about, but he chose Jadyn as the winner because she has a voice that “cuts through” and likes that she doesn’t know how good she is.

    Team Kelsea

Kelsea brought Jaelen Johnston and Hailey Wright back together after pitting them as opponents in the last round. Hailey chose the classic country song “I Want to Be a Cowboy’s Sweetheart” by Patsy Montana and Jaelen went with the “country-adjacent” song “Dial Drunk” by Noah Kahan. Kelsea thought that both singers improved upon their performances since the rehearsal space, but she kept Jaelen on her team because of his “whole time” on the show rather than just this round.

    Team Adam

In the last pairing of the night and the round, Adam pitted Conor James with “Forever Young” by Alphaville against Darius J on “American Boy” by Estelle. Following the Knockout, Kelsea recognized both of their “individuality” and said it would be “illegal” for either of them to go home, hinting the obvious that she’d be stealing one of them and stating that she “wouldn’t do good in jail.” Adam told Darius that he “turned it into an even more high energy” song and Conor that he “sung the crap out of” a “very difficult song.” When Adam gave the win to Conor and kept him on his team, Kelsea gladly picked up Darius in the Steal, declaring that she’s “been waiting for this for so long” because of his “joy” and “quirkiness.”

    The updated teams are:

TEAM LEGEND — Ari CamilleBD.iiBryson Battle, Olivia Kuper Harris, Renzo

TEAM BUBLÉ — Adam David, Angie ReyBarry Jean Fontenot, Jadyn Cree, Kaiya Hamilton

TEAM KELSEA — Alanna Lynise, Darius J, Iris Herrera, Jaelen Johnston, Tinika Wyatt

TEAM ADAM — Britton Moore, Conor James, Ethan EckenroadKolby CordellLucia Flores-Wiseman

The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series The Voice is in its 27th season featuring five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows. In the coaches’ chairs, Michael is the defending champion after winning Season 26. He is joined by John, in his 10th season, and Kelsea, competing for the first time. Adam rejoined the panel of coaches for his 17th season after taking a hiatus following Season 16.
