Reba McEntire Breaks Silence: Shocking Revelations About Her Alleged Discontent on ‘The Voice’ Leave Fans Reeling!

In an unexpected twist, country music legend Reba McEntire has finally addressed swirling rumors regarding her supposed unhappiness on the hit show “The Voice.” With her trademark candor, she reveals the truth behind the speculation, leaving fans both relieved and intrigued by her candid insights into the competitive world of reality television.

Reba McEntire is setting the record straight about her first season as a coach on The Voice.

The country singer, 68, currently serves as a judge alongside veteran panelists John LegendGwen Stefani and Niall Horan. So far this season, McEntire has had a tough time getting contestants to join her team, with six of her 13 team members being recruited by default.

McEntire’s apparent onscreen struggles have come amid reports that she’s frustrated with her costars, fueling rumors that she’s unhappy in her new gig.

In a new interview, however, McEntire clarified the situation, saying that she’s actually having “the best time.” While attending the Bring Change to Mind gala on Monday, October 9, McEntire spoke with Extra about her experience on The Voice.

“We’re having a blast,” she said. “It is competition, it’s fun rivalry, but we have the best time on that show. And what blows me away is the amount of talent [that] keeps coming on. We’re in season 24 and the talent is unbelievable. I hope everybody watches.”

When asked who she goes “head to head” with the most, McEntire quipped that she and former One Direction member Horan, 30, are ”always kind of sparring.”

McEntire also said that she found Stefani, 54, “so intimidating” at first. “I thought she was being mean to me, and then she said, ‘I just want you to like me,’ and I said, ‘Well, that’s all you had to say,’” McEntire recalled. “And we’re best friends.”

Reba McEntire and Boyfriend Rex Linn

McEntire went on to squash rumors that she plans to exit the show before the season ends, saying, “Well, not right yet, we’re not through!”

McEntire has already been confirmed as a judge for season 25, which is set to premiere in spring 2024. Her fellow coaches will include John Legend, Chance the Rapper and the show’s first-ever coaching duo, country pop artists Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney (who record as Dan + Shay).

McEntire announced in May she was joining the competition show following fellow country star Blake Shelton’s exit. Shelton, 47, had served as a coach on The Voice since it premiered in April 2011.

“I’m looking forward to being here with all of y’all,” she told The Voice host Carson Daly during a season 23 episode in which she served as a mega mentor. “You’ve treated me so nicely. I appreciate the hospitality so much that you showed me earlier. And to be able to come in and form my team? I’m so looking forward to it.”

Luna’s charming honesty about her father’s tunes brings a refreshing twist to the world of celebrity parenting!

John Legend’s Daughter Luna’s Confession About His Music Will Make You Laugh Out Loud

The Voice Coach is raising a very honest kid.

Everyone’s a critic, even the kids. Luna Stephens, oldest child of The Voice Coach John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, revealed that she’s a fan of her dad’s music… mostly.

She wrote a series of clues about herself for what looks like a school project, including her unvarnished opinion on the Legend oeuvre. It’s a tough but fair review.

John Legend’s daughter Luna reveals her favorite of her dad’s songs

In an Instagram slideshow post from Teigen, you can see the facts Luna wrote about herself in the ninth photo. (She’s a gymnast and a girl scout). However, there’s one that will make you chuckle.

“I am the John Legend fan who likes most of John Legen[d’]s song[s] my favorite one is ‘I Don’t Love You Like I Used To.’” In the comments, many praised Luna’s brutal honesty.

“Just most. What a take down. Sorry John. 😂 you can have the coolest parents and yet your kids will still not be your favourite fans 😂,” wrote one.

“I love that she clarified liking ‘most’ of John’s songs” added another.

Still, she’s got good taste. Her favorite of her dad’s songs, “I Don’t Love You Like I Used To” is a wonderfully romantic ode to the way relationships change over time. He doesn’t love Teigen the way he did on their wedding day… he loves her more, and more deeply!

Luna’s mom fared a little better in the review department. “I am the Chrissy [Teigen] fan who loves C[h]rissy [Teigen’s] waffle mix,” she wrote for her third clue. Wow, she “loves” the cookbook author’s waffles, even though she only “likes” her dad’s music. At least she’s telling the truth.

“I told her that I usually don’t like waffles but I like hers,” added Luna. Trying a food they usually avoid is perhaps the highest compliment a child can give. Congratulations, Chrissy!

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen’s dogs are the family’s other stars

The model captioned her post, “the most important things to me on this entire planet (that don’t have 8 nipples),” cheekily referring to the family’s four dogs, two of whom recently made their talk show debuts. Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Teigen and Legend brought out Petey and Penny, their giant poodle and three-legged rescue.

“This is Penny, she’s our three-legged friend,” said Legend, holding the black French bulldog. “We got her from a rescue. She was abused. She’s our oldest dog.”

“She’s seen every part of us. She’s seen the dogs we had really early on in our relationship come and go,” added Teigen. “She’s been there for every baby, every loss, everything we’ve ever experienced. She’s our everything.” Adorable. But what does she think of John’s music?

Adam Levine prays during the Knockouts of 'The Voice' Season 27.

The Voice Season 27 knockout rounds have been incredible, delivering audiences countless contestant performances that had our hair standing on end. Last night, the knockout round bowed out with perhaps the best episode of the lot, with a selection of goosebump-inducing covers from the likes of Renzo, Adam David, Hailey Wright, and more.

However, four people probably felt last night was anything but effortlessly fun, and that is the coaches: Kelsea BalleriniAdam LevineMichael Bublé, and John Legend.

For this quartet of musical icons, the final knockout round brought with it the hardest decisions they’ve had to make yet, with no ‘Save’ option to get them out of trouble. As the episode continued and nail-biting choices left the audience and contestants shocked, it all finally came down to the last knockout round, with Team Adam’s Conor James going head-to-head with Darius Jay.

The internet has since been split on whether the right decision has been made, but let that take nothing away from the simply stunning performances the pair produced. However, there was perhaps one stand-out of the two, that being James and his cover of the Alphaville classic, “Forever Young.”

Conor James is a Force to Be Reckoned With

Without a doubt, one of the show’s favorites heading into the next round, James keeps getting better performance after performance, with this cover of “Forever Young” his spine-tingling best yet. By paying beautiful homage to the tone of the original but still offering his own spin on the song, James managed to truly and effectively let the song’s genius lyrics land with heft.

Stylish and composed, it’s clear there’s a star ready and waiting in James, with Levine understandably excited by his performance. The coach said, “The possibilities with Conor, that dude can just sing like very few people can. His soulfulness, I want to lean into that. He’s going to be around for a while,” before eventually picking him as his winner.

But what about James’ opponent, Jay? Well, Ballerini’s last remaining steal was put to very good use as she took the talented, energetic singer for herself, bolstering her ranks as the final gets ever-closer. “I have been waiting for this for so long. I think Darius is so special. He has this certainty about him and this joy and quirkiness,” the coach said, before adding, “I don’t think I have anyone on my team at that level of full-encompassing performer. I fought so hard for Darius since the jump and I finally got him on my team.” Up next for The Voice Season 27 is the playoffs, with the stakes higher than ever.

The Voice Season 27 continues to deliver breathtaking performances, such as this one from Conor James. For more updates on your favorite reality shows, including NBC’s The Voice, make sure to stay tuned to Collider.

According to reports, The View’s executive producers are eager for Sunny Hostin to replace Whoopi, who has “checked out” of her job.

Multiple sources have shared how Sunny is “being groomed to take over as the show’s lead moderator”.

The transition is even said to be underway, with the “writing on the wall”.

A senior show insider has told Rob Shuter’s Substack: “The writing’s on the wall.

“The network knows The View needs a refresh — someone younger, more engaged, and more connected to the next generation. Sunny checks every box.”

Although the transition hasn’t been confirmed, there are some telling signs on the show that seemingly reveal it has begun behind-the-scenes.

When the ladies were chatting about sexless marriages this week, Whoopi shut down the topic by saying: “It’s early in the morning,” complete with a bone-chilling stare.

According to Rob Shuter’s insiders, the viral moment got around the building with it fast becoming a hot topic.

The insider said: “Sunny was steering the conversation. Whoopi looked checked out. That’s become the pattern.”

It is claimed that although ABC have “affection” for Whoopi and deem her a legend, “legends age out” and ABC is “looking at the future”.

    A SUNNY NEW VIEW

With ABC focusing on the future, it is also claimed that Whoopi being phazed out and Sunny being introduced as the leading moderator has begun.

“Smart, stylish, legally trained” Sunny is gradually leading the way for a fresh new The View, it has been hinted, with an executive urging viewers to “watch closely” as it happens in real time.

And fans have spotted how “clocked out” Whoopi has been looking in recent months.

“Whoopi Goldberg on The View is like an aunt at a family gathering—occasionally wise, mostly just tired of everyone’s nonsense,” said one viewer on X last month.

“What’s with Whoopi? Is she bored?” asked another in November 2024.

    The View hosts

The View is an American talk show airing on ABC from 11am-12pm EST, Monday through Friday. It features a diverse group of women that discuss the day’s “Hot Topics”, ranging from hard-hitting news to celebrity gossip. The six co-hosts include:

    Whoopi Goldberg
    Joy Behar
    Sunny Hostin
    Sara Haines
    Ana Navarro
    Alyssa Farah Griffin

Another viewer watching the show last year added: “Whoopi always looks bored when the cohost are talking.”

And a fourth penned: “Whoopi looks so bored when the others are speaking. It’s not a good attitude.”

    RECENT SCHEDULE SHAKEUP

The popular American talk show was created by broadcast journalist Barbara Walters.

It is currently in its 28th season, and after a recent boost in ratings, one extra show each week now airs every Saturday.

As of January 11, The Weekend View airs on ABC News Live, which is the streaming platform website.

The show is half an hour long and features the show’s Friday panel.

The Friday panel usually comprises of moderator Joy Behar, and co-hosts Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Ana Navarro.

Controversial panelist Whoopi, who has now “checked out” of her role is not on the show because she doesn’t work on Fridays.

Whoopi only appears on The View each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The Price Is Right is inviting fans to come on down.

In honor of the game show celebrating its 50th anniversary later this fall, The Price Is Right host Drew Carey announced The Price Is Right Come On Down Tour. The longest-running game show in TV history will be coming to fans in major cities across the U.S. starting on Friday, March 25 with the first stop at Santa Monica Pier in California.

Fans who attend the one-day launch event will get to play Plinko, spin the wheel and compete for a showdown. “Hosting The Price Is Right has been a dream job for me,” Drew told Deadline in August 2021. “I really never thought my safe space would be on a sound stage, wearing a mic, cameras on me constantly, and with millions of people watching. But that’s what The Price Is Right is for me. I love it.”

Every episode of The Price is Right features an undisclosed assortment of games, and that variety is part of the appeal. But fans are offering their two cents about the “3 Strikes” game, which they claim is “not fun” after 14 players lost consecutively with no winner in a staggering three years.

For those unfamiliar, “3 Strikes” is a pricing game that debuted on TPIR on February 12, 1976. In it, contestants can win a brand-new luxury car by correctly guessing its price. The contestant is shown eight baseballs: five white ones with non-repeating numbers on them, each representing one of the five numbers in the car’s price. There are also three red “strike” balls with an X on them.

After all eight balls are shuffled into a rotating drum, the contestant blindly draws a ball from the bag. If they pick a numbered ball, they must correctly put it in the right position of the car’s total price. If they’re right, the ball is discarded, and the digit is lit up in the price display. But if they’re wrong, the ball goes back into rotation. However, if the contestant draws a red ball with a strike, a foghorn sounds instead, and an X marker is lit on the board before the ball is discarded. If the contestant draws three strike balls, the game ends.

On Monday, November 18’s episode a player bombed out with zero correct guesses and gave a big thumbs down mid-way (above) looking frustrated. She sarcastically told Drew Carey, “I love your positivity!” as she floundered. After she lost, Carey exclaimed, “That was a rough one” and the audience fell silent.

After it aired, a fan started a discussion in the TPIR Reddit forum, arguing that the segment is “too hard” and others agreed.

“3 Strikes is not a fun game,” the fan titled the post. The user continued, “Every time the contestant pulls a strike Drew says it’s good because there’s one less strike to worry about. That’s specious reasoning and it annoys me so much. Today the contestant even said ‘I love your positivity’ to Drew. I like to think she meant it sarcastically. This game is just way too hard. Sure, it’s played for a very expensive car, but the odds are so low and it’s based mostly on luck. I get annoyed every time it’s played. Does anyone know the winning statistics on this game?”

Another fan replied, “I don’t have the exact stats but there was a period of time where someone only won once in 6 years during a particularly bad drought. I can also say that, even if you play perfectly and guess all 5 digits correctly as you pull them out, your odds of winning that game are 37.5%. So even a perfect play will only win 1/3 of the time. I put ‘3 Strikes,’ ‘That’s Too Much’, and the dollar game in the same grouping as barely winnable games. At least 3 Strikes is always for an expensive vehicle, I guess.”

“I legitimately can’t remember the last time I saw a player get more than 1, maybe 2 numbers before striking out so I’m not a fan of this game either lol,” wrote a third.

“Not much of a spoiler but surprise, she got zero numbers,” wrote a fourth about Monday’s episode.

“As soon as I saw that game, I knew she would lose,” wrote a fifth. “It’s the “F*** you contestant, you’re not getting a car” game.

“I despise 3 strikes. Way too much luck involved,” wrote a sixth.

“It would be nice to be able to buy another chance with a pricing game after 2 strikes and call it a “foul tip” with a successful price,” wrote a seventh.

“And it takes forever to lose. Just a long, annoying, slim chance to win game,” wrote an additional fan.

“The last time we had a win was January 18, 2021 where a Range Rover was won,” observed one more. We currently went through 14 playings without a winner.” According to TPIR Fandom, there hasn’t been a winner since January 2021.

What do you think of “3 Strikes?” Should TPIR bench it for good? let us know in the comments section!

‘Wheel of Fortune’ Fans Steamed Over ‘Unfair’ Bonus Puzzle

‘Wheel of Fortune’ Fans Go Nuts Over Ryan Seacrest’s First ‘Unfair’ Bonus Puzzle (VIDEO)

    ABC

Wheel of Fortune’s new era with host Ryan Seacrest is now in full spin, and it didn’t take long for a bonus puzzle to air that fans felt wasn’t the cream of the crop.

Derrick Balfour from Frederick, Maryland emerged victorious on Tuesday, October 1’s episode during the week-long BetMGM Big Winners Tournament. With $13,200 in cash and a prize trip to Las Vegas, he went to the bonus round, choosing the category “Food and Drink.”

Joining Seacrest center stage, Derrick was shown the two-word puzzle and he chose “M, D, K, A” as his additional letters (a deviation from the more common “C, D, M, A”). Only a “K” and “A” were added by the iconic Vanna White, who stunned in a bright pink gown. The puzzle read as “‘_AS_E_ ‘ ‘_ _ LK.’

Instantly, Derrick knew it was “Something ‘milk’” but couldn’t get much further than that, rattling off “Cheese milk,” “Geese milk” and other variants. The 10-second timer ran out, and Derrick was unable to solve it. Seacrest quipped, “Some of the great milks for protein, those milks.

“But no,” he clarified: “It’s ‘Cashew Milk.’”

Derrick missed out on an additional $40,000 Seacrest assured he was “close” and reminded him he could return on Friday’s finale episode given the format of the tournament.

However, fans took to social media to cry over spilled milk, branding the puzzle as way too obscure (compared to, say, “Almond Milk”) on X and in the comments section of the WoF clip on YouTube.

“Wheel of Fortune is gonna do their best to make sure you don’t solve that last puzzle,” one X user wrote during airtime.

“Who the hell is gonna think cashew, let alone call out a W I’m upset,” wrote another.

“Who THE F*** is drinking CASHEW MILK?” echoed a third.

“This puzzle?? It stinks. I never drink that milk. This was why I got stumped a bit. thought it was…. yolk? something. jeez c’mon man,” one YouTuber wrote.

“I’ve heard of almond milk but not cashew milk. If he would’ve called a “C” he would’ve got it,” wrote another.

“The puzzles are SUPER STUPID now especially the final ones. Is Maggie Sajak making them up in her head,” roared a third, calling out poor Maggie Sajak (Pat Sajak’s daughter is the WoF social media correspondent, has no say in puzzles).

Meanwhile, fans are warming up to Seacrest as WoF’s new frontman after seeing Sajak nightly for four decades. He’s held ratings steady; raking in the strongest week in five years for the Season 42 debut. But apparently, some things never change.

During Sajak’s tenure, especially towards the end, WoF was rife with bonus puzzles that fans disliked. There was the similarly dubious “Foamy milk” during Season 40, and infamously, the puzzle “Taking a Quick Jog.”

In that case, the contestant who missed it went viral by challenging Pat since the puzzle was categorized as “Fun and Games.” “Well, see, I don’t consider jogging fun and games,” he told the former host to his face

‘Wheel of Fortune’ fans shocked by blazing quick puzzle solve: ‘Is this sorcery?’

Wheel of Fortune contestant Mark Franco was in a winning mood Thursday night. The avid outdoorsman from Brentwood, Calif., impressed everyone with a very quick puzzle solve.

Early on in the game, Mark found himself apologizing for winning a puzzle which a previous contestant had missed on a technicality. Host Pat Sajak told him, “That’s all right, never apologize for winning.”

Maybe Mark had something to prove to Pat or the audience, but soon after that he nailed a Triple Toss Up puzzle. At almost the same time that the first letter popped up on the board, Mark hit his buzzer.

    The puzzle read “_ ‘ _ – _ _ _ _ _ G – _ – _ _ _ _”. And within a second of it appearing Mark answered, “I’M HAVING A BALL.”

Mark surprised both Pat and fans at home. Many viewers took to Twitter to voice their shock and dismay.

Quarantine day… whatever… no sports, and I just got way too hyped when a dude just guessed an entire puzzle with ONE LETTER ON THE BOARD 😲

While Mark had a good game, it wasn’t good enough to advance to the bonus round. But he did end up taking home a $7,000 trip to London, and $2,000 in folding money.

‘Wheel of Fortune’ Fans Hope Ryan Seacrest Is “OK” After Seeing Alarming New Video

The American Idol host took an unexpected tumble on live TV.

preview for 5 Fun Facts About “Wheel of Fortune”

Ryan Seacrest loves to get in on the action at Wheel of Fortune — but no one expected him to literally go head first into it!

On the April 3 episode of the hit game show, the host decided he’d talk about a new obsession he’d recently discovered. As he and Vanna White celebrated Festival and Celebration Week on Wheel of Fortune, he got passionate about the Gloucestershire Cheese Rolling Festival, which will be held in May 2025 in the U.K. and sees people racing down hills after rolling wheels of cheese. Well, Ryan decided he wanted to recreate that on television, leading him to see how he’d fare in his own version of the tradition.

“You ready to try it?” Vanna asked Ryan in a clip posted on Instagram.

“I was born for this!” Ryan excitedly responded.

As Ryan readied himself to run across the Wheel of Fortune soundstage, he surprised everyone with the unexpected result.

As it turned out, the American Idol host did end up chasing a wheel of cheese (appropriately emblazoned with the WoF logo on it) across the room … but not before falling down in the process! With Vanna watching in shock on the sidelines, she had to make sure her co-host was alright before continuing on.

“Oh no! Are you gonna be OK?” Vanna asked with concern as Ryan got up and walked the snafu off. “He’s going to be OK. He’s OK! Woo!”

When folks saw the entire interaction play out online, they immediately rushed to the comments to rally around Ryan in support of the spectacle.

“Happy to see Ryan is ok! The ‘cheese heads’ are proud 👏,” one person wrote. “I know that hurt! But he got right back up! Yay Ryan,” another agreed. “You a crazy man, but I love it. Nothing you won’t try! You seem to always have a great attitude,” a different follower added.

Well, this was definitely a memorable moment on Wheel of Fortune! Let’s just hope something like this doesn’t happen to Ryan again. And if he does attempt this once more, Ryan should have proper safety gear!

Sadly, Yolanda didn’t get the chance to win a new sedan during her game of Pocket Change or score bif once again during the Showcase round as she didn’t win on the wheel.

The Showcase came down to Kevin and Derek, who both spun $1 on the wheel, securing $1k, and a spot on the finishing game.

Derek passed on bidding on amart watches, inflatable motor boats, and a sedan. Kevin bid $27k on the items.

Meanwhile, Derek also bid $27k on trips to New Orleans, Spain, and South Africa.

Kevin wound up bidding only $50 over his price, allowing Derek to win despite being $4k under.

During yesterday’s episode of the game show, Carey jokingly scolded a player about complaing as they voiced their dismay about not getting to play Plinko.

Player James attracted Carey’s attention with his shirt that said: “I wanna play Plinko,” which prompted the host to say in dismay: “Ah, James we’re not playing Plinko!”

James replied: “That’s okay, I’m just happy to be here.” Carey asked: “Oh, you’re happy if we don’t play Plinko?” James replied: “Yeah, it’s totally fine.”

Carey told announcer George Gray: “George he says its okay we’re not playing Plinko,” which made James interject: “Unless you have it. I’ll take it.”

Gray then asked James: “What would you be okay playing?” before added: “Okay how about you just play for a brand new car!”

James then played the Dice Game for a chance to win the vehicle.

According to the game show’s website, the game sees the first digit in the price of a car revealed. The remaining digits in the price are all between 1 and 6.

The contestant rolls dice to predict the remaining digits and if they do not roll a correct digit, they must predict whether the digit is higher or lower than the number rolled.

If the contestant is correct about each digit, they win the car.

James ended up winning the car after a tense game, and it prompted Carey to joke: “You better not complain you didn’t play Plinko. That’s all I gotta say.

“I don’t wanna hear one word, ‘Ah I didn’t get to play Plinko, I just won a car.’”
