Michael Bublé holds back tears as he pays tribute to four-year-old son Noah during his emotional British Summer Time performance

Singer Michael Bublé put on an emotional performance as he took to the stage at Barclaycard presents British Summer Time atLondon’s Hyde Park on Friday.

The crooner, 42, battled through the rain to dazzle the audience with his greatest hits – but also struggled to hold back tears as he made an emotional performance in honour of his son Noah, 4, who was diagnosed with stomach cancer.

Having taken 2 years away from the spotlight to deal with the terrifying diagnosis, Michael – who’s son has made a full recovery – opened up about his fears over returning to music.

Worried: Having taken 2 years away from the spotlight to deal with the diagnosis, Michael – who’s son has made a full recovery – opened up about his fears over returning to music

Clad in his signature suit-and-tie ensemble, Michael ignored the weather to put on his stellar performance in front of the packed out crowd.

A fan at the concert told The Mirror that Michael made his highly anticipated return to London with Feeling Good and Just Haven’t Met You Yet – before making a tear-jerking speech to the audience.

Addressing the crowd, Michael said: ‘This is exactly how I imagined it. I s**t you not. This is exactly how it was in my mind. I s**t you not.

‘It has been two years since I’ve been on stage. Like any human, of course I worried that whatever I had at one point was gone. But after two songs, I’m better than I was before.

The choked-up crooner fought back tears as he continued: ‘I don’t know if it’s the rain or Frank Sinatra is crying right now.’

Michael also paid a sweet tribute to his son with an emotional rendition of You Are Always On My Mind, before bringing out the adorable tot onto the stage.

Michael’s performance comes just days after he described Noah’s cancer battle as ‘hell’ and labelled the youngster a ‘superhero’.

Talking to the Herald Sun, the Feeling Good hit maker opened up about the struggles he and his family went through, calling it worse than ‘hell’.

‘You know what? Hell seems like a really nice place to vacation compared to where we’ve been,’ the singer said.

Noah was diagnosed with stomach cancer in Halloween of 2016, when he was just three years old.

Both Michael and his wife, actress Luisana Lopilato, put their careers on hold after the diagnosis in order to focus on Noah’s health.

‘It’s my boy. He’s a superhero, he doesn’t need to relive it over and again. But I’ve been to hell. And you know what, hell seems like a really nice place to vacation compared to where we’ve been,’ Michael told publication.

‘Family Feud’ Steve Harvey Blasts Contestant For Stupidity

    Steve Harvey, Family Feud, YouTube

When it comes to honesty, seemingly Steve Harvey is as candid as it comes. Undoubtedly, it makes him a very entertaining host of Family Feud. But sometimes, it is very evident that the words that come out of contestants’ mouths are shocking to Steve. During a recent episode, he blasts a contestant for stupidly while answering one question.

    Steve Harvey Wonders About People

On the Family Feud Instagram page, Steve Harvey quickly calls out one man’s actions for his stupidity. Within the clip, Steve reads the question, “Name something you would never do again if your wife didn’t force you to.” Immediately, contestant Kyle speed buzzes before his contender.

Then eager to answer he spews out “Get married,” without any hesitation of what might come are that. Following, Steve slightly stunned by the outburst blankly looks at Kyle. However, laughter roared from the live studio audience, his teammates, and the opposing team. Seemingly, Steve questions what the world is coming to listening to this dumb statement leave Kyle’s mouth.

Steve Harvey Blasts Contestant For Stupidity

Although Steve Harvey didn’t laugh, he taps the Family Feud cards on the podium. Then, almost shamefully looks away from Kyle slightly before the camera pans to Kyle’s wife, Carla, who is also on the team. Adamantly, not looking happy, Carla says, “I did not force him to get married.” But when the camera returns to Steve he looks at Kyle and blasts him for his poor decision. “You can’t believe how stupid you are!” However, Kyle’s guess gained the team an answer on the board, revealing eleven surveyed men also felt that way. Surprisingly, it landed in the fourth spot on the list.

All’s Fun In Love And War

However, the humor wasn’t lost on the Family Feud production team. In the Instagram clip, a big red stamp reading “DIVORCED” was slapped over Kyle and Carla’s image. But the grin on Kyle’s face when he runs to his wife, as she half smiles and side-eyes him, alludes to Carla having a good sense of humor as well. While there might be trouble in paradise, most likely Carla knows the playful antics of her husband Kyle and they will be fine.

But fans on Instagram jumped in with their thoughts on Steve Harvey and Kyle’s interaction:

“You know he slept on the couch that night 😂.”
“That man surely had the worst month of his life.”
    “Oh she forced him…….”
“Bro is gonna get hit back home.”
    “Good answer, good answer.”

What do you think about Kyle’s answer? Do you think Steve Harvey kept it entertaining with his response? Do you think people’s answers still surprise Steve or has he begun to wonder about the world we live in? Are you enjoying Family Feud and its raw capture of people? ‘The Price Is Right’ Drew Carey Jokes About Marrying Contestant, Why?

    Drew Carey | YouTube

Drew Carey loves to have fun with the contestants on The Price is Right. These moments usually come organically for Drew, and the word is that he mostly improvises the moments when they happen. That happened this week on the show when he brought up a contestant.

Drew Carey Brings Up A New Contestant On The Price Is Right

Drew Carey got a chance to share the stage with a new player this week on the popular game show.

Of course, the big draw for a game like The Price Is Right is that anyone in the audience has the chance to “come on down” for some big money. However, Drew noticed something else about a player recently.

One player had the exact same name as him, kind of. After the bidding was won, a new contestant came up onto the stage with the name “Carey” on his name badge. Drew saw this and, smiling, started up some banter with the contestant.

“I love your name,” he said, as he shook hands with the older man, asking, “What’s your last name?” The man responded his name was Carey Klingfas. Drew kept the humor going when he mentioned that they could get married.

He said they would be “Drew Carey Carey Klingfus.” The contestant laughed as well. When the show shared this moment on Instagram, announcer George Gray played the moment up as well, calling them “love birds.”

This then led to Carey Klingfus getting a chance to play the game Freeze Frame, which gave him a chance for a special vacation win if he chose the right four numbers that matched the cost of the trip.

Jeopardy! will soon be played in bars in America (Image: Jeopardy!)

Within the next year Jeopardy! fans will be able to compete in their favorite trivia game at a bar near them. Possibly even get to appear on the televised game show. The Jeopardy! Bar League will kick off nationally in 2025, yubi, which means “America’s Favorite Quiz Show” will take place in bars.

A partnership between Sony Pictures Television, bar trivia operator Geeks Who Drink, and interactive entertainment technology company TimePlay, enables the Jeopardy! Bar League to come into effect.

Similar to other bar trivia events, competing teams can “engage with the game in real time, using their mobile devices to respond to clues, track their scores, and see live leaderboards within their bar,” Sony said in a press release shared Monday.

Jeopardy! Bar League will mirror the TV version, including clues and categories from the program.

“Bringing ‘Jeopardy!’ out of the studio and into the real world is a major focus for us at the show,” Jeopardy! Executive Producer Michael Davies said. “We already know that many people, including me, watch and play along with our show in bars, and we know that many of our contestants come from the thriving culture of bar trivia, so it seemed only natural for us to combine these elements into ‘Jeopardy!’ Bar League.”

When it comes to winnings, there will be a big difference between what players will win on the Jeopardy! broadcast and what competitors will take home from their local bar game.

“Winners of future tournaments will have the opportunity to qualify to become contestants on the televised version of ‘Jeopardy!,’” according to Sony’s press release.

Come December 2024, a “limited first-run” of Jeopardy! Bar League will launch as a way to round out the 60th anniversary of the show, which debuted on TV on March 30, 1964.

It hasn’t been released where the limited run of Jeopardy! Bar League will happen.

According to information available on the “Jeopardy!” Bar League website, teams of one to six players will be allowed to participate in what will be a weekly event.

‘The Price Is Right’ Drew Carey Insults Model On-Air

    Drew Carey - YouTube

Drew Carey is known for making jokes in his role as host of The Price is Right, notably when he recently asked to marry a contestant. During a recent episode, Carey made a joke concerning one of the show’s models. However, his comments ended up rubbing some fans the wrong way.

One Price Is Right Contestant Got A Chance At A New Car

Throughout the show, the models help to reveal prices and celebrate with contestants. Some of the current models on the show include Manuela Arbelaez, Amber Lancaster, and Rachel Reynolds.

In one recent episode, a contestant got to try her luck with the “Let ‘Em Roll,” getting the chance to win a new car. Similar to Yahtzee, the game involves five dice. Contestants get one roll with the chance to earn more by guessing the relative price of grocery items.

Drew Carey - YouTube (1)Drew Carey – YouTube
The player can win a car if the dice reveals a car symbol. However, they can also earn cash amounts. After landing on cash, one contestant, Michele decided to roll again instead of walking away with the money.

This spurred Carey to reveal a little about one of the show’s models. “She’s gonna roll again. Thank you, Manuela,” said Drew as the model collected the dic. He then revealed, “Manuela used to work in a casino in Colombia…when she was young.” He also joked that she couldn’t talk about it.

In the end, Michele ended up winning the new car she wanted after all. Drew congratulated her and even high-fived Arbelaez.

Some Fans Came To Manuela’s Defense Online

On social media, some fans took issue with Carey talking about Manuela’s previous line of work. As one fan suspected on instagram, “He has beef with Manuela.”

Another wrote, “For real! ‘When she was young,’” pairing it with a skull emoji. One commenter also replied, “People need to stop making fun of Manuela Arbelaez when she’s on TPIR.”

As another shared, “This man just roasting Manuela for no reason.” One commenter especially came to the model’s defense, saying “Manuela is a SAINT! He needs to show some damn respect!”

As noted by Monsters & Critics, Arbelaez was born in Colombia and has since become a naturalized American. Back in 2008, she competed in The Price Is Right Model search. She didn’t win, but made such an impression on the production that she became a permanent model for the show anyway the following year.

Sally Jessy Raphael Says She ‘Never Would Have Left’ Her Show but Was Fired for Minuscule Ratings Drop (Exclusive)

Sally Jessy Raphael never had a desire to leave daytime.

The beloved former host of Sally tells PEOPLE exclusively that she knows she had “a darn good show” on her hands once she got her foot in the door, which was thanks to another daytime juggernaut, the late Phil Donahue.

“He heard me on All Night Radio when he was driving with his wife in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He said, ‘We ought to have a woman who does what I do. And this woman can do it,’ so he told the company. So they hired me, and that was very nice,” Raphael, 90, recalls.

“They didn’t pay me much. We were only on stations they owned out of St. Louis in the beginning. But then it grew and I think it grew because it was a darn good show. As it grew, other people bought it. And the more people you work for, the worse it becomes.”

As her show changed hands over the years, dynamics grew complicated. The push for “ratings, ratings, ratings,” was relentless, yubi, she says. The topics they thought the Sally audience craved were topics Raphael felt were “kind of junk.”

“The show deteriorated and there was a point at which I couldn’t stand it anymore. I kept hoping for something that wasn’t like that, but [we were up against] Jerry and  Maury, and they were really succeeding,” she says of fellow daytime TV titans Springer and Povich.

Raphael explains that it wasn’t even a huge fall from grace that led to the show’s end in 2002.

“When we went off the air, they fired me. I never left the show where there was money. They fired me at a 4.8,” she explains of the ratings.

“Anybody today in the morning slots, 10 and 11, would give their right eye for a 4.8. But they said, ‘Oh, it’s going down. It went from a 4.9 to a 4.8,’ ” she continued.

“And I said, ‘Geez.’ And so they fired me. I wouldn’t have left the job no matter how lousy it was.”

Despite being off the air for more than two decades, the Sally show family is still very much that — a family.

“Surprisingly, I think we’re the only show that has a reunion every year. I know of no other show that’s been off this long that has a reunion every year,” Raphael says.

“I also text and get texts from a great many of the people, of whom there were 250. It was like running a company. There were 250 employees including crew. And I stay in touch with almost all of them,” she proudly shares. “A lot of them come and visit me whenever they’re near New York or in New York. They come and see me and tell me what’s going on in their lives. So it was a family and it still remains a family.”

This week on Coronation Street is significant for the Bailey family, as Dee-Dee gives birth to a baby girl—and her mother, Aggie Bailey, surprises everyone with a BOLD STATEMENT about her granddaughter

This week on Coronation Street is significant for the Bailey family, as Dee-Dee gives birth to a baby girl—and her mother, Aggie Bailey, surprises everyone with a bold statement about her granddaughter: ‘She’s here to stay.’

Where is Dee-Dee’s mum Aggie Bailey as Coronation Street fans call out plot hole?

In the latest episodes of *Coronation Street*, viewers have found themselves in a whirlwind of drama as Dee-Dee Bailey endures a traumatic childbirth experience. However, amidst the high stakes of her labor complications, the absence of her mother, Aggie Bailey, has sparked discussions among fans and ignited calls for her return. As the storyline unfolds with gripping tension, many are left wondering: where is Aggie during this pivotal moment in her daughter’s life?

    Dee-Dee’s Traumatic Experience

Dee-Dee’s journey through labor has not been an easy one. Complications arose when she faced pre-eclampsia, a potentially dangerous condition that can occur during pregnancy. This led to an emergency caesarean section that resulted in further complications, including a hemorrhage that required a hysterectomy. Such dire circumstances left viewers on the edge of their seats, empathizing with Dee-Dee’s plight.

The gravity of this situation demands familial support, particularly from a mother like Aggie, yubi, who is known for her strong character and commitment to family. However, throughout Dee-Dee’s tumultuous experience, Aggie has remained conspicuously absent. This has led loyal fans to question the storyline’s integrity, as many feel that a mother would naturally rally to her child’s side during such distressing times.

    Fans Express Their Concerns

Social media has been flooded with comments from frustrated viewers who are calling out this significant plot hole. Many fans have taken to various platforms, expressing their disbelief that Aggie would not be present to support her daughter. The consensus among viewers is clear: Aggie’s absence feels not only unrealistic but also out of character. Such a scenario overlooks the fundamental connection and support system mothers typically provide during critical life events.

Comments on social platforms highlight the lack of family presence during Dee-Dee’s health crisis.
Fans have questioned the dramatic choices made by the writers and producers of *Coronation Street*.
There has been an outpouring of support for Aggie’s character, with many expressing a desire to see her return promptly.

Aggie Bailey’s Last Appearance and Backstory

The last time viewers saw Aggie Bailey on-screen was in 2023, when she departed for Birmingham to tend to her ailing aunt. Prior to this, she had also undergone personal struggles, notably her divorce from Ed Bailey due to the challenges posed by his gambling addiction. These events in her life highlight the complexity of her character, but also raise questions about her commitment to her family in times of turmoil.

Given the emotional depth of Dee-Dee’s current situation, fans are left wondering how Aggie’s other personal obligations could outweigh the need to be there for her daughter. As the story arcs develop, many are turning their attention towards the production team, hoping for an explanation or a reconnection to strengthen the family’s storylines.

    The Call for Aggie’s Return

As episode after episode passes without a mention of Aggie, viewers are left feeling discontent with the lack of continuity in character presence. The absence of a maternal figure during such a significant event evokes a sense of disconnect, prompting many fans to call for Aggie’s swift return to the show. Not only would her presence enhance the storyline, but it would also restore a vital emotional support system that is currently missing.

In light of the growing backlash and dissatisfaction among fans, it is evident that Aggie Bailey’s character deserves a spotlight. The questions surrounding her absence raise essential points about family dynamics and support systems, making it imperative for the writers to address this plot hole in upcoming episodes. With Dee-Dee facing life-altering changes, the need for a mother’s love and support has never been more crucial.

As fans continue to advocate for Aggie’s return, they remain hopeful that the show’s producers will listen.

Many believe that reinstating Aggie Bailey would not only elevate the storyline but also align with the values of family unity and support that *Coronation Street* has championed over its long history.

Hold on to your seats… Matlock last week’s episode left us with a shocker and that was just the beginning. The aftermath unfolds this Thursday

Skye P. Marshall on What Comes Next After That ‘Matlock’ Cliffhanger

This week’s episode ended with Marshall’s character finally confronting Kathy Bates’ Matty Matlock over her big secret.

[This story contains spoilers from the April 3 episode of Matlock, “The Johnson Case.”]

Nothing in the pilot that launched the CBS hit show Matlock starring Oscar winner Kathy Bates hinted that the friendship between cunning and wily 76-year-old Madeline “Matty” Matlock, a lawyer with a lot of fight still left in her tank, and the partner-tracked, soon-to-be divorcee mother of young twins Olympia Lawrence would become one of the most compelling elements of the show. But that’s exactly where things are as Matlock prepares to wrap its first season. Now, the audience stake in that relationship hit like a boulder as Olympia confronted Matty at the end of the third to last episode.

“So, who the hell are you, Madeline Matlock?” Olympia (Skye P. Marshall) grilled, as Matty stepped off the bus she regularly takes from cushy Jacobson Moore before meeting her driver and sinking into the back of a limo on her way to her mansion — not a cramped apartment in Queens — where she is Madeline Kingston. Is the jig really up?

In a show where an older woman is posing as a broke lawyer forced to work in her societally deemed retirement years to support herself and her motherless grandson, but is really digging for the evidence she needs to punish the Big Pharma company that could have pulled the opioids that killed her daughter off the market, while also winning some of the most impossible cases in highly unpredictable ways, why do we care if Matty and Olympia are friends? We just do.

When The Hollywood Reporter caught up with Skye P. Marshall to discuss Olympia and her relationship with Matty, the Chicago native and military veteran, who enjoyed her first series regular role on the short-lived CBS medical drama Good Sam, had some interesting things to say, especially about the most recent developments.

Marshall is not ashamed to share that she jumped at the chance to work with Bates. Despite still not having an agent, Marshall had her managers secure her a script and even cut the reel for her self-tape herself. With the tenacity she learned in the military and an abiding confidence in her craft, she beat out other actresses to score what she calls the role of her lifetime.

From the beginning, she knew this show couldn’t miss. “I saw Kathy Bates. She truly is undeniable. She can do no wrong, and she has had such a loyal fanbase for decades,” says Marshall. “If you can score someone with the reputation, the repertoire and craftsmanship as Kathy, and as a bonus, you partner with a mastermind of a writer like Jennie Snyder Urman, and the producing magic that Eric [Christian] Olsen and his team put together with his deal at CBS [and Paramount], and then surround Kathy with an eclectic group of actors like Jason Ritter [Julian], myself, David Del Rio [Billy], Leah Lewis [Sarah], Beau Bridges [Senior] and Eme Ikwuakor [Elijiah], we knew that we had something extremely special from shooting the pilot, and the studio executives knew as well.”

Marshall is proud of the impact the show has made in its very first season. “We got people back on the couch watching live television with their family and friends,” she beams of the broadcast hit. “When I walk through the streets of New York, I can’t count how many times people are like ‘So who did it? Was it you or Julian?’”

While she’s not telling what happens in the end, she is dishing a lot of insight into Olympia and her dynamic with Matty and what’s next for Matlock as a show (already renewed for season two), below.

    ***

Who is Olympia in your eyes? And what is, or was, her relationship with Matty?

Olympia is very focused. She’s a leader, she’s an advocate. She’s a daughter of a Marine and she understands that in order to be at the top, you have to work your way up through the ranks. You have to learn not just Jacobson Moore, but how to fall in line on Team Olympia. And as you can see, Sarah’s learning and Billy has it locked down. Billy’s character is the mayor of Jacobson Moore, and Matty Matlock walks in and she just gets placed on my team. And while a lot of fans were like, “I don’t like the way Olympia is talking to Matty; she’s so mean to Matlock,” she understands the principle of making your way into Olympia’s heart and trust. So over time, you started to see Matty Matlock find the crack in the castle wall.

What makes her so unique and clever is that she’s unassuming, but she also has such a nurturing way of making you feel safe to be vulnerable, and Olympia does not feel safe and vulnerable in Jacobson Moore, which is why our art director made my office all glass. I imagine [Olympia] always knows she’s being watched or supervised, and with that, my posture was always straight. I’m always going or coming from somewhere, so that’s why you always see that my delivery and the pace is always fast, and the stakes are always high.

Over time, Olympia and Matlock are not just colleagues, but they’re also not yet friends. I think the audience started to soften up on Olympia when they started to see how hard she fights, and that her client is her priority. I love that she’s very intentional on accomplishing her goal of being partner, but she’s also staying true to her number one heartfelt purpose in life, and that’s giving people who are overlooked and don’t have the budget for a high-end firm like Jacobson Moore a chance. She represents those people so that she can do good, but also get paid, and satisfy Jacobson Moore by winning big class action suits. But the amount of money is just to obtain the surface level career goal. Who she is, to her core, that the audience gets to see is somebody who lives on purpose, and somebody who hasn’t forgotten where she comes from, and she reaches back and pulls people up so that they can get the justice that she may not have received.

What’s Olympia’s relationship with Billy and Sarah?

Oh my babies … I refer to Billy as the mayor of Jacobson Moore. He is just so feel-good, do-right, abide by the rules and the law, and is just such a source of leadership. You only see Olympia snap at Billy one time, and it was between Billy and Sarah when she was overwhelmed in the Slammed case and didn’t want to give up. But outside of that, she’s always relied on Billy, and she’s always trusted Billy. Sarah is an overachiever, and she’s getting in her own way. She’s self-sabotaging, and I believe Olympia can also see a lot of her journey in Sarah back when she was a junior attorney. And she can see the potential, but she can’t let Sarah in all the way because Sarah is still a little reckless. So I think that Olympia is learning to trust Sarah with more responsibility, but Sarah has to figure out who she wants to be internally at Jacobson Moore before Olympia can put any trust in her with a client’s life.

Some people are still in disbelief about Olympia busting Matty. Like, is this real? After all, we’ve seen Matty have nightmares about this.

Yeah, it is, but it’s one of those things where we’ve been so focused on Matlock trying to figure out who hid the Wellbrexa documents that we completely forgot that Matlock too could get caught. So I think that’s what throws you. You’re like, “Oh my gosh, I forgot Matlock’s a liar; Matlock’s a con.” You forget because you love her, and you want everyone to be nice to her. You want her goal to get accomplished, and so you completely forget. I thought that it was so brilliant of Jennie Urman and the writing team to allow the audience to get so entrenched in figuring out who hid the documents that they completely forget they’re rooting for a con!

So then how devastating is it for Olympia to realize Matty has been playing her? Where do they go from here?

I think the thread that the audience has seen is different ways that Olympia has been betrayed, especially when it comes to Julian, when it comes to Shae, when it comes to Elijah, even if it was like micro-aggression with Elijah, you will see the ultimate betrayal. And in the office, she has to determine, does she judge Matlock, or does she seek to understand? When you seek to understand, that requires a deeper level of compassion, patience and a willingness to believe that sometimes good people make bad choices. So what you’ll see is Olympia working through that, processing her anger and her frustration and her confusion, and transitioning it seeking to understand the why, and the how.

Will finding out who hid the Wellbrexa file fundamentally change the show?

I feel that finding out who hid the documents is just one layer of a really effed up cake and a disaster that brought upon an opioid epidemic. Who else is responsible? Like, who was the one that sent the marching orders to hide the document? Who’s involved? This is just in my head. They might pivot in season two. Who knows? Jennie has an amazing way of pulling a thread and unraveling a sweater, and you’re just like, “Oh my gosh, what’s happening, what’s next, what’s next?” And I feel that season one is pulling the thread.

Jeanine Pirro Gets Personal in Shouting Match With Jessica Tarlov: ‘You Hate Them!’

Fox News’ The Five co-hosts Jeanine Pirro and Jessica Tarlov got into a shouting match on Tuesday over whether former President Donald Trump was a “selfish” individual.

Fox News Host Hits Jeanine Pirro With A Wicked Trump Question Fit For A King

After Fox News anchor Dana Perino asked Tarlov whether she expected Vice President Kamala Harris to call Trump selfish during Tuesday’s debate, Tarlov replied, “For sure, because Trump is selfish.”

“Why would you say that?” asked Perino.

Co-host Greg Gutfeld then interrupted, “He just got shot! Running for president! Boy, that’s selfish! He almost died for this job!”

Tarlov responded, “If you look at all of what’s coming out of these court cases and the evidence, he’s stiffed everyone from contractors, he’s cheated on everyone that he’s been married to, he demeans people, he can’t even stop demeaning someone he’s been found liable of sexually assaulting.”

She continued, “It’s all about the self with Donald Trump and he preys upon people who believe this toxicity,” before adding, “There’s no way that Donald Trump would be campaigning, calling Kamala Harris ‘Kambala’ unless there were racists in his party that he thought that would appeal to.”

    Pirro then snapped:

You hate them personally and the Democrats hate Republicans! As soon as he got elected, Republicans were unfriended by all the Democrats, they wouldn’t speak to us anymore. The Democrats are the party of hate. The Democrats are the party that said, “He’s a Putin asset, yubi, he’s a Russian puppet.” The Democrats are the ones who signed affidavits and lied to a court so that they could spy on a president of the United States. The Democrats are the ones who said that we’re destroying democracy.

She insisted, “Donald Trump is one of the most generous people you’ll ever meet. He does all kinds of things that people have no idea about. And by the way, if he were selfish, he’d take his money and tell all of us to go F ourselves based upon the way this country has treated him. This guy got shot! Don’t tell me he’s selfish!”

After Tarlov asked, “What do you think about him saying Jews are absolute fools if they vote for Democrats?” Pirro replied, “Donald Trump is the only one who moved the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.”

Tarlov mocked, “The Jewish king. Why aren’t Jews voting for him?”

Pirro responded, “I’m not going to fight with you anymore, Jessica, but I know the man.”

Steve Howey Breaks Silence About How Happy’s Place finding a way to tease the highly-anticipated Reba reunion

Steve Howey Breaks Down Every Nod to ‘Reba’ Sitcom From His ‘Happy’s Place’ Debut Episode (Exclusive)

Steve Howey‘s guest spot on Happy’s Place featured some nods to his days playing Van on Reba — but did you catch every Easter egg?

During the Friday, December 6, episode of Happy’s Place, Howey, 47, finally shared the screen with Reba McEntire and Melissa Peterman two decades after they starred on Reba. The trio played entirely different characters on NBC’s current series, but the show still found a way to acknowledge Howey’s past by having his character Danny deliver a line about a group of people he knew in Houston 20 years ago.

“That was already in the script, which I really liked. It was a little wink and nod to the old TV show audience,” Howey exclusively told Us Weekly about the tongue-in-cheek reference. “This is why it was so cool.”

The actor praised Happy’s Place for finding a way to tease the highly-anticipated Reba reunion.

“I grew up with classic sitcoms and so I always wanted to do a sitcom [as an actor]. I was lucky enough to be on one that is a classic. Fans have been telling me over the years that the show was the one thing that they could bond over with their family because it was appropriate for all ages,” Howey noted. “And it still plays and people still are finding it now.”

Howey called the subtle nods a “classic sitcom move,” adding, “Those little wink and nods are really cool for the audience. It was cool for us to do it and it was already written by one of the writers.”

Happy’s Place follows Bobbie (McEntire) as she inherits her father’s restaurant and discovers a new business partner in the long-lost half-sister (Belissa Escobedo) she didn’t know she had. Peterman, 53, plays a bartender at the restaurant while McEntire’s boyfriend, Rex Linn, also appears as tavern cook Emmett.

The sitcom brought McEntire, 69, and Peterman back together more than 17 years after their hit series Reba ended its six-year run on The WB. In addition to McEntire, Peterman and Howey, the beloved show also starred Christopher Rich and JoAnna Garcia Swisher.

While filming his scenes as Danny, Howey found ways to honor his Reba character.

“The line that I did give was the first time I walked in when Reba was drawing on Melissa’s picture and she made a mustache. I say, ‘Hey, nice mustache.’ She turns around and says, ‘Wish I could say the same about yours,’” he said about how Danny’s appearance differs from Van. “But that was my line to Reba — and that’s how cool Reba is. I can pitch something and she’s like, ‘I’ll try it,’ Also speaking of being really proud of the mustache, it makes its television debut on Happy’s Place.”

Happy’s Place doesn’t just have Reba alums in front of the camera. Showrunner Kevin Abbott, who was an executive producer on Reba when it aired on The WB between 2001 and 2007, was instrumental in using McEntire and Peterman’s new NBC sitcom as a way to work with their former costars.

“Kevin had this idea for this character ahead of time. And then he was like, ‘What if Howey would do it? That would be really great to get a reunion going.’ I fit the character description so he gave me a call,” Howey recalled to Us. “The planets just aligned on this one.”

As viewers have already realized, Happy’s Place might include some similarities to Reba but, ultimately, it is its own show. Howey’s character Danny is a perfect example of Happy’s Place utilizing nostalgia without mirroring every detail from Reba.

“Van is obviously different because I was so different. I was a lot younger, a lot more naive and a lot more fresh. It was my first series regular job so it was very new. Now after 20 some years, I can bring different experiences to the characters that I play,” Howey explained. “Also the character relationships — because Happy’s Place is a new thing — are different. Yes, it’s Reba Melissa, but the characters are different. Bobbie is a lot different than Reba. Gabby is a lot different than Barbara Jean and Danny’s obviously different.”

He continued: “This guy owns his own business. He has money and he’s playing this game. Like you said, Danny was onto them the whole time. … They have something special [with Happy’s Place] that just makes sense and Reba has another lightning in the bottle show.”

Howey is expected to appear in additional episodes, but that doesn’t mean he will interact with any other former Reba costars on the show. After Abbott previously confirmed their attempts to get Howey’s former onscreen love interest JoAnna Garcia Swisher to make a guest appearance, Howey told Us he would prefer they not share the screen.

“I kind of like this idea of all of us coming back in different forms. I had my single guest star episode and JoAnna should have her single guest star episode,” he noted. “I think JoAnna would have a great time. She’s an awesome person and that’s one of the beautiful things about the show is that we’re all still in communication. I just talked to JoAnna the other day.”

Howey also doesn’t have any plans to become a series regular on Happy’s Place, saying, “I haven’t done a sitcom in years. It’s been a long time since I got back on the horse and it wasn’t easy. It was a little bit hard because of the timing and the volume and the live studio audience. I was like, ‘This is no joke.’ I got used to single camera. I got used to Shameless and then True Lies with a single camera. It’s a different vibe. I kind of got the juices flowing again and I was like, ‘I [need to] have my own sitcom. This is fun.’”

Happy’s Place airs Fridays at 8 pm on NBC.
