Wheel of Fortune fans declare Vanna White should have ‘retired with Pat Sajak’

Wheel of Fortune fans think that White’s run should have ended with Sajak’s as they doubt her chemistry with Ryan Seacrest will compare.

Wheel Of Fortune: Pat Sajak hands the reigns to Ryan Seacrest

Wheel of Fortune fans want to wipe the slate clean.

A source claimed earlier this month that Vanna White is apparently not enthusiastic about working with new host Ryan Seceacrest, and even wishes she could retire before her contract ends.

In response, fans took to Reddit to support the idea of White departing the show with Pat Sajak, who she worked with for over four decades.

“She should have retired along with Pat. They were a team and should have walked off into the sunset together,” one user said.

“I don’t blame her. I think that if she changed her mind about staying, fans would understand and possibly think even more highly of her for missing Pat,” another wrote.

    RYAN SEACREST

“Vanna did say she’d retire with Pat. Obviously that didn’t happen,” someone else commented in the replies.

“Sony fought tooth and nail to keep her, probably because they didn’t want a messy transition, a repeat of the Jeopardy fiasco,” another speculated.

Another user suggested that WOF get rid of White’s role altogether, an idea that someone contested.

“I really can’t see them do away with the role at this point, it’ll completely change the ‘feel’ of the show. Too much change can be bad. What they should do is expand the role somehow, so that they have more hosting duties. It’s too bad they already have an announcer, as that would be the perfect addition,” they replied.

    VANNA WHITE

The comments were a response to an interview an inside source gave with The Daily Mail, claiming that White isn’t getting along too well with Seacrest.

“Vanna is retiring from the show when her contract ends, but there is a part of her that wants to walk away sooner. It is just so difficult to do this without Pat,” the source said.

“She just doesn’t jibe with Ryan like she did with Pat, and no one really ever expected her to. There is just no way that she possibly could,” they added.

Apparently, White also has ideas about what direction she thinks WOF should go in next.

“Vanna feels that she has put her time in. She devoted her entire life to this show and she had an incredible run while making a fortune,” the insider shared.

“She knows that the show needs to go in a different direction and appeal to a younger demographic. She wants the show to continue. This will require a younger female host, someone who can be to Ryan what she was to Pat,” they added.

Wheel of Fortune’s Vanna White reportedly feels like a ‘third wheel’ during Ryan Seacrest’s brand new tenure as host of the iconic game show.

This doesn’t come as a major shock to fans, as she noted: “I thought maybe I should retire, too,” when her co-host of 40 plus years stepped away from the stage.

“But Ryan is a control freak,” the source claimed. “He finally told her he’s doing things his way and he’s not trying to be Pat Sajak!”

“So Vanna is again relegated to the background, but now it’s not with Pat, someone she knows and loves, but a new guy, Ryan.”

“It’s not that she doesn’t like Ryan, but her chemistry with Pat was just much more natural,” the source said: “With Ryan, it feels forced and she doesn’t want that to come across to loyal viewers — and producers fear the audience will notice it as well.”

Money is also an alleged issue for the leading woman of the fan-favorite ABC gameshow.

The seasoned star reportedly went 18 years without a raise in her salary before she fought for a new deal last year that nearly doubled her former $3 million salary.

Because that number is nothing compared to what Seacrest, 49, is bringing in, which is said to be upwards of $28 million, Vanna may be eyeing the exit before then.

Ever since Ryan Seacrest stepped in to fill Pat Sajak’s shoes as the host of Wheel of Fortune, fans have been speculating many issues with the new era of the show.

Most recently, fans are convinced that Seacrest and longtime hostess Vanna White are secretly beefing as he steps into the new role.

It was even rumored that White, who has been hosting alongside Sajak for all 43 years of his gameshow career, was feeling regretful that she didn’t retire with her former partner after working with the American Idol host.

After many rumors swirling the internet that the two are secret enemies, White, 67, took to Instagram to clarify the solid friendship between the pair.

She posted a picture of the collegues enjoying a meal together as they are filming for their first ever season together to air.

One fan commented: “There’s no f-in way Vanna can stand Ryan. He’s a massive phony.”

“I don’t think i can believe anything I read in the news anymore!!! Last week I read that they can’t stand each other, and she is thinking about retiring because she doesn’t like how Ryan does the show. They look happy here,” another said.

A third viewer wrote: “Very disappointed that Wheel of Fortune chose Ryan Sescrest as Pat’s replacement. There is plenty talent to choose from. Even an unknown would have been better.”

A fourth angry fan said: “I will not be watching wheel of Fortune ever again – I absolutely cannot stand fakey Ryan Seacrest, and it’s absolutely time for Vanna to retire.”

‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Fans Livid Over Blatant Vanna White Diss

    Wheel Of Fortune: Vanna White

Wheel Of Fortune fans recently noticed something that has many up in arms surrounding Vanna White, and what many see as a blatant diss for the longtime fixture of the game show. So, what did fans call out recently, and did the popular game show throw shade at Vanna?

Wheel Of Fortune: Vanna White Sticking Around In Ryan Seacrest Era

With the changing of the guard at Wheel Of Fortune, and with Ryan Seacrest taking the helm from Pat Sajak, viewers are in a new and unprecedented era for the beloved game show. Pat Sajak was the host of the show for decades. So, with this change to Ryan Seacrest, the show as a whole is navigating uncharted territory.

The one constant that remains from the Pat Sajak era to the Ryan Seacrest era is Vanna White still holding it down with her role on the show. There was chatter that she would also hang it up and retire, but, at least up to this point, that has not been the case.

Fans Notice Blatant Vanna White Diss

Particularly since Ryan Seacrest has taken over as the Wheel Of Fortune host, fans have viewed everything he does, and the show in general, under a bigger microscope than ever before.

While some fans were doing some digging, one viewer noticed a discrepancy between Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White that appears on the surface to be a blatant diss. So, what did a recent fan bring to light?

A recent Wheel Of Fortune viewer said: “Longtime wheel watcher here… I don’t recall if Pat had an executive producer credit rolling at the end of every show, but Ryan sure does. Exec Producer is 90% a vanity credit. And it’s typically requested by and extended to a longtime leading cast member of a show or series. It’s Ryan’s First season and to see that credit stunned me. Vanna would be entitled to that executive Producer credit but she’s too humble and genuine to request it.”
Wheel Of Fortune: Ryan SeacrestWheel Of Fortune: Ryan Seacrest/YouTube

Did Wheel Of Fortune Throw Vanna Under The Bus?

According to the Wheel Of Fortune IMDB page, the game show lists Ryan Seacrest as a “consulting producer.” So, while he is not an executive producer, as the original poster claimed, it is still interesting that Ryan has this credit on the show, whereas Vanna White is not even on the list.

Whether the show is throwing shade at Vanna White or whether she chose not to have this kind of credit is certainly up for debate. Either way, it’s indeed an interesting bit of information from the show that viewers are clearly eager to discuss.

Did Drew Carey just snub his fellow game show host, Ryan Seacrest? The Price is Right host decided to name a couple of famous Ryans during a recent episode of his show, but fans are wondering why he didn’t mention Seacrest.

It all unfolded on the Wednesday, March 12, edition of TPIR when Drew interrupted a contestant’s game to give a shout out to a group of Ryans sitting in the audience.

“A shoutout to all of the Ryans,” Carey said. A bunch of men stood up and cheered as he told the audience at home that there were 20,000 people in their group. “Anybody can join if your name is Ryan,” added Drew. In fact, one of the Ryans made it up to Bidder’s Row, but never got to come on down to play a game.

“They especially want Ryan Stiles and Ryan Gosling to join the group. So, there I did my bit.” Carey had a cheeky smile on his face as he shouted out the famous Ryans. But noticeably missing was perhaps the most obvious Ryan …Seacrest.

Drew worked with Stiles on The Drew Carey Show (1995 to 2004) and Who’s Line Is It Anyway? (1998 to 2006) when he hosted. So perhaps it’s understandable why he got a mention.

Fans in the comments suggested other famous Ryans to join, and couldn’t help but notice that Drew omitted the Wheel of Fortune host.  “Not Ryan Seacrest lol?” a TikTok user asked. One of the Ryans in the group told the fan that they met him at Wheel of Fortune the day before and gave him a Ryan Meetup shirt. Seacrest started hosting Wheel in 2025 after Pat Sajak retired from the game show.

Other fans on Instagram suggested other Ryans that should join the group.

“They should add Ryan Reynolds to the group,” said one fan.

    “Ryan Reynolds too,” commented another.

“Let’s go!!!! Ryans of the world, unite and take over,” said a Ryan who is a TPIR fan. For any Ryan who is interested in joining, they can join the non-profit group at their website.

LIVE with Kelly and Mark has a BIG CHANGE and fans are very excited to watch it

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos prepare for permanent move for LIVE — and it’s happening soon

The latest iteration, LIVE with Kelly and Mark, will be the first to experience the shift

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are kicking off a new era for LIVE with Kelly and Mark, one that is finally moving forward after years in the making.

The long-running daytime talk show has been based out of ABC’s famed studios in New York’s Upper West Side, alongside the 60s in Columbus Avenue.

However, ABC is now moving base from its home for nearly five decades to a fancy new Disney studio in Hudson Square, yubi west of SoHo formerly known as the “Printing District.”

The show’s latest episode on March 17, St. Patrick’s Day, had been previously recorded as opposed to their usual live tapings, with the two dressed in all green to celebrate the holiday.

While Kelly and Mark haven’t explicitly confirmed the move is happening now, others from the ABC world have, including colleague and ABC News anchor Deborah Roberts.

Deborah hosts 20/20 with David Muir, a close friend of Kelly and Mark’s, and is also an anchor for Nightline and steps in as a reporter and special correspondent for other ABC News shows like Good Morning America.

“LIVE with Kelly and Mark” will be moving to a brand new studio soon

She documented her last days at the building, writing on Instagram: “Friday finish. Nearly 3 decades after I first set foot in the ABC news headquarters as a new correspondent, the youngest to join the 20/20 team, we are officially saying goodbye to the building. The place where network TV legends walked the halls and delivered the news.”

Recalling the initial nerves of her early days, Deborah continued: “I was thrilled and a bit nervous to join Barbara, Hugh, Peter, Carole, Joan, Charlie and a cadre of inimitable correspondents. What a moment.”

“Now, a bright, shiny space awaits us downtown to continue the great work we all love so passionately. Change and goodbyes are always hard for me. I am comforted by routine and the familiar. But change is the only true certainty of life, right? So here we go… making new memories.”

Kelly and Mark, who have been married since 1996 and share three children, first shared the news with their studio audience back in October, with Kelly also immediately letting her skepticism be known.

“You and I went down to tour the new studios because apparently our show is finally moving to a new location,” the mom-of-three said to her husband and co-host. “But that’s not going to happen for some time, and I don’t believe it’s going to happen.”

“No, no, it’s happening,” Mark quipped, as the Hope & Faith star replied: “I’ll probably still be here…I don’t believe it’s happening.”

The ABC buildings were sold years ago, first reported in 2018, by ABC’s parent company Walt Disney, first to Silverstein Properties and now to Extell, which owns a majority of the properties. “This place has been sold for ten years,” the Riverdale actor mentioned.

The 81-year-old former NFL head football coach has been an analyst with NFL on Fox since 1994, returning in a full-time capacity for the network after a few years off in 2002.

He announced the morning of March 3 that the 2024 season was his last, as he is now set to retire from broadcasting after a career spanning nearly three decades.

    5 biggest NBC controversies

    1.  Matt Lauer allegations

Matt Lauer, one of NBC’s biggest stars for over 20 years, as the host of the Today was fired in November 2017 due to sexual misconduct allegations. Multiple allegations resurfaced, but NBC claimed to be unaware of Matt’s behaviour. However, these claims were disputed by individuals who had worked with Matt, creating a major controversy.

    2. The Hollywood tape

Just before the 2016 U.S. presidential election, The Washington Post released a 2005 taped conversation between Billy Bush and Donald Trump, in which Trump made offensive comments about women, while Billy laughed in the background. Two days after the tape’s release, NBC suspended Billy from his co-hosting role and he was eventually fired.

    3.  The Biggest Loser

The Biggest Loser, a 2004 reality show where contestants competed to lose the most weight for a cash prize, became an NBC hit. However,  a 2016 study showed that most participants regained the weight they lost, leading to criticism of the show’s approach to wellness. The series was canceled in the same year.

    4. The Tonight Show conflict

The 2010 conflict over who would host The Tonight Show became a major PR issue. Jay Leno, who hosted the show since 1992, was given his own primetime slot in 2009, leading to Conan O’Brien becoming the new host. However, when ratings fell, NBC reportedly paid Conan and his team $45 million to step down so Jay could reclaim the show.

    5. Brian Williams’s fake story

In 2015, NBC nightly news anchor Brian Williams claimed he was aboard a helicopter that was downed by enemy fire in the Iraq War. His story was disputed by several military veterans who were present, leading Brian to apologise on air, saying the incident was a “fog of memory.” He was later dismissed from the role.

“We’re incredibly grateful for his contributions in making FOX NFL SUNDAY the top pregame show on TV, where we shared countless memorable moments, highlighted by surprising him live on-air with the news he was being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame — an occasion we will never forget.”

CBS Makes Bold Move: Offers $1 Billion Deal to Tim Allen and Richard Karn for New Sitcom

In a surprising and ambitious move, CBS has reportedly offered Tim Allen and Richard Karn a staggering $1 billion deal to star in a brand-new sitcom that promises to shake up the entertainment industry. The proposed show, which is being described as a “non-woke” comedy, aims to bring back a more traditional approach to sitcom storytelling, reminiscent of classic TV comedies that emphasized humor over political messaging.

Home Improvement' stars Tim Allen, Richard Karn on reuniting for new series: A 'live version' of 'Tool Time' | Fox News

    A High-Stakes Investment in Comedy

The entertainment industry has seen its fair share of big deals, but CBS’s $1 billion investment signals a major shift in network television strategy. Sources close to the network suggest that executives are banking on Allen and Karn’s iconic chemistry to deliver a hit sitcom that resonates with a broad audience.

This sitcom, still in early development, is expected to move away from politically charged content that has become common in modern television, instead focusing on family-friendly humor and timeless storytelling.

Tim Allen & Richard Karn: The Perfect Duo for This New Project

Tim Allen and Richard Karn became household names in the 1990s thanks to their work on Home Improvement, a sitcom that remains a fan favorite. Their on-screen partnership continued in later projects, including Assembly Required, proving their ability to connect with audiences.

With Allen’s signature humor and traditional values, paired with Karn’s likable and steady comedic presence, the two are expected to bring a much-needed energy to the CBS sitcom lineup.

Tim Allen and Richard Karn reunite for real life 'Tool Time'-type show - mlive.com

    What Makes This Sitcom Different?

Described as a fresh alternative to the current trend in television, the new show aims to appeal to audiences looking for lighthearted entertainment without the divisive political undertones. A CBS insider revealed:

“This show is about making people laugh and bringing back the kind of sitcoms that made everyone feel good—without pushing an agenda. It’s about genuine humor, real-life situations, and characters that audiences can connect with.”

CBS’s decision comes at a time when viewers have been vocal about their desire for sitcoms that prioritize comedy over social messaging. Industry experts suggest this move could signal a shift in television trends, bringing back the kind of storytelling that defined some of the biggest sitcom hits in history.

Will This Move Pay Off for CBS?

Investing $1 billion in a single sitcom is an unprecedented move, but CBS is betting big on Allen and Karn’s ability to deliver ratings and bring back a nostalgic TV audience. Given the continued success of classic reruns and the resurgence of interest in traditional sitcoms, the network’s risk may very well pay off.

The show is set to premiere next year, and with the buzz already building, it’s clear that this sitcom has the potential to become one of the most talked-about television projects in recent memory.

    A New Era of Comedy?

CBS’s commitment to this project highlights a growing demand for sitcoms that prioritize comedy over cultural debates. Whether this show will redefine the landscape of TV remains to be seen, but with Tim Allen and Richard Karn at the helm, the entertainment world is watching closely.

Stay tuned for more details as the show moves closer to production and CBS prepares to roll out what could be one of the most significant sitcoms in modern television history.

Though never asked by authorities, the actor owns multiple planes and helicopters putting his skills to good use. In 2001, he rescued a lost Boy Scout in Wyoming’s Yellowstone, according to ABC News.

    4. Spider Ford

While celebrities often have planets named after them, Harrison has a spider species named in his honour. The spider species Calponia harrisonfordi was named after him according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

    5. Signature chin scar

One of Harrison’s distinct features is his chin scar, which he explained to Parade was the result of “a fast car crash.” When he was younger, he was driving to work and veered into a telephone pole while trying to put on his seatbelt.

Almost ten years had passed and so, unsurprisingly, the value had increased dramatically.

Harrison listed the property in 2010 for $16 million. Over $10 million more than what he bought it for.

The property likely grew in value due to natural inflation, the increase of high-value properties in the area, plus the star quality of Harrison being a previous owner.

Not to mention the work that Harrison had done on the property after hiring the esteemed company 1100 Architect to conduct renovations.

According to Top Ten Real Estate Deals, the father-of-four hired builders to transform the home entirely with luxury materials, giving it a modern, minimalist finish.

It took the star a little while to find a buyer, though. Despite listing the ultra-luxe home for $16m, he eventually sold it at the end of 2012 to a buyer who offered $15 million.
