Vanna White Reveals the Risqué Move She’s Contemplating

The move, if it happens, would be a gesture of support for her daughter.

Vanna White confirmed on a recent Wheel of Fortune episode that she is contemplating what some might consider to be a risqué move inspired by her 27-year-old daughter, Giovanna.

White’s Wheel of Fortune co-host, Ryan Seacrest, prompted the revelation while speaking with a contestant. The show later shared a clip from their conversation on Instagram on Tuesday, Dec. 17.

The clip began with Seacrest, 49, informing the contestant, “I have to tell you, the one person on this set that’s considering a tattoo right now is Vanna White.” He turned to White, seeking an affirmative response.

“True,” White, 67, said. She went on to explain, “My daughter’s a tattoo artist, and she’s been trying to talk me into getting one. So I’m really considering doing it.” At that point in the clip, White mouthed “a little bit” at the camera and made a matching gesture with one hand.

Seacrest then urged Wheel of Fortune viewers to share their tattoo recommendations for White online, a challenge the show also made when it posted the clip on Instagram. “Okay, real talk, what tattoo SHOULD Vanna get?! 👀,” the caption for the post asked.

Several viewers wrote in to suggest Wheel of Fortune-themed tattoos, with one writing, “She needs to get the wheel of course the other only option would be the puzzle board.”

“The wheel of course ❤️,” another viewer agreed.

Others said they thought letter tattoos would be more fitting. “A vowel,” one person wrote while another suggested a “V” tile tattoo in reference to White’s first name.

In addition to the tips inspired by the game show, some people made silly pitches—such as the fan who suggested White get a “Full back tattoo of Shrek”—and others made heartfelt suggestions, like the person who encouraged White and her daughter to get matching tattoos.

The show’s call for ideas was also met with comments from people who opposed the move entirely.

“Don’t do it,” one person urged.

“No,” another fan agreed, adding, “Vanna is the classiest lady on television. No tattoo needed.”

LIVE with Kelly and Mark recently aired a new episode with a tired and grumpy Kelly Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, at the helm.

Kelly and Mark took a quick trip to Italy over the weekend, and Kelly was still not over her jet lag due to the time difference as she explained how she felt to the LIVE audience.

Kelly shared that she and Mark woke up in Italy at 2 a.m. each night. Sleep deprivation has not resolved itself, and she still wakes in the middle of each night.

While Kelly can fly to her beloved Palm Springs anytime, she must exert more effort to board a flight to Italy with Mark.

Kelly, who was admittedly grumpy and tired, expressed her concern about dressing up for holiday work parties when she arrived at work when Mark mentioned that their boss, Bob Iger, the CEO of Disney, sometimes dresses down.

While Kelly insisted that Mark did not have the luxury of dressing down to work events, she shared that she now feels differently about arriving to work because of Ryan Seacrest.

Ryan Seacrest admits to missing this holiday tradition with Kelly Ripa

Kelly reveals she doesn’t ‘care anymore’ after seeing how Ryan dressed for work

Kelly is the ultimate professional at work, always dressing appropriately and engaging with celebrities and fans. Still, she recently revealed that she lets her crew “fix her up” rather than arriving ready.

During the discussion with Mark on LIVE about dressing for holiday parties, Kelly said she used to dress up to arrive at work and cared about how she looked.

She would dress nicely and do her hair before leaving home but realized no one appreciated her hard work getting ready.

It wasn’t until she worked with Ryan Seacrest, now of Wheel of Fortune fame, on LIVE with Kelly and Ryan that she changed her ways.

Kelly told Mark, “Ryan Seacrest literally only wore pajamas to work, and that’s when I said I don’t care anymore. I roll out of bed in a bathrobe and Uggs and show up to work that way.”

Kelly then shared that she lets her work crew “fix her up” and that the LIVE crew takes casual to a new level, saying, “It is wild.”

Kelly Ripa heartbroken following tragic loss - it's 'so sad' | HELLO!

Mark got a ‘true holiday miracle’ in the form of a football

Mark loves his sports, and when he isn’t in Italy watching his Campobasso FC team, he is rooting for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The team recently sent him a personalized football, and Michael Gelman gave it to him live.

Kelly always seems to encourage Mark and his love of his sports teams, and this was no different as she cheered him on over getting the football gift.

Maybe Kelly would be happier with Mark and his love of sports if he gave her longer trips to Italy to see the Campobasso FC so she could get over her jet lag before working.

LIVE with Kelly and Mark airs weekdays on ABC.

Seacrest showed off his bracelet on the one-year anniversary of the organisation’s creation after a stylist filed a police report with the LAPD alleging he sexually harassed her.

Suzie Hardy first came forward to Variety, claiming she endured abuse for years as Seacrest’s stylist at the E! network.

The popular host has strenuously denied the accusation and a third-party investigator later found the claim to be unsubstantiated.

Viewers on social media immediately called out Seacrest for sporting the bracelet.

“Ryan Seacrest wearing a Time’s Up wristband should cause him to burst into flames like a sinner in church,” wrote a Twitter user.

“Ryan Seacrest is wearing? A Time’s Up bracelet? While everyone just kinda ignores that he was one of the accused men last year? SURE OK,” commented another.
“What gives Ryan Seacrest the ego to wear a #TimesUp bracelet? Does he think we forgot?” tweeted another one. “My dude, the time for you is not today”.

When it comes to Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, Ryan Seacrest will always be a part of their family.

On Friday, Feb. 28, Seacrest, 50, who made his final appearance as Ripa’s co-host on Live with Kelly and Ryan in April 2023, joined her husband (and current co-host), 53, for a workout at the Alo Wellness Club.

“Ran into the only client I train 💪🏻,” Seacrest shared on Instagram. His post began with a video of him and Consuelos working out together.

“Just doing my situps here in LA,” says Consuelos before Seacrest appears onscreen, saying, “Just getting my stretch in. I’m flexible today.”

The video was followed by a photo of the two smiling from ear to ear and a selfie of the television personalities flexing their biceps. Ripa, 54, shared Seacrest’s post on her Instagram Stories, writing, “Posh Dudes in LA.”

It’s no surprise that Seacrest and Consuelos are good friends, as Consuelos took over Seacrest’s co-hosting role on April 17, 2023.

Seacrest announced he was leaving his co-host position in February 2023 after joining the syndicated ABC daytime show in 2017. He shared at the time that he was planning on moving back to the West Coast ahead of the American Idol live shows in Los Angeles.

After making his debut on the show, which was renamed Live with Kelly and Mark, Consuelos told PEOPLE that Seacrest had left him a sweet parting gift.

“He left all his furniture, which is amazing. He left me a beautiful hand-written note with a gorgeous photograph of Steve McQueen. It’s going to go right there on the wall,” said Consuelos.

The Riverdale actor shared with PEOPLE that the note had “just a nice message of encouragement.”

“Ryan’s the best, and he’s been so supportive of this move. I am so appreciative of his friendship and the warm words he’s shown me,” he said, referring to the gesture as “a very peaceful transfer of power.”

Ripa told PEOPLE that viewers should look forward to a seamless transition ahead of the change since Consuelos and Seacrest are “like brothers.”

“Ryan is like my — I always say is like my brother, but he’s also like my oldest child,” she told PEOPLE in early April 2023. “So you know, it’s gonna be seamless.”

Ryan Seacrest Is Finally Stepping Out of Pat Sajak’s ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Shadow

    Ryan-Seacrest-Wheel-of-FortuneImage from ABC

Wheel of Fortune has been through a handful of hosts, and while fans took some time to warm up to the newest host, he’s quickly winning viewers over. Wheel of Fortune first premiered in 1975. The popular game show was created by Merv Griffin, who also created the iconic game show Jeopardy!. Chuck Woolery was the first host of the game show but left in 1981. After he left the show, Pat Sajak became the new host and, together with Vanna White, the pair created an iconic duo and became the longest-running game show hosts.

However, after being on air for 41 years, Pat decided it was time to focus on other pursuits and spend more time with his family. On June 7, 2023, he appeared on the series for the last time. Now, about a year after Pat left the show, there’s a new host on the horizon: Ryan Seacrest. Of course, change isn’t always easy, but the new host is certainly doing all that he can to leave his mark while still preserving the energy of the game show.

Ryan Seacrest Honors Pat Sajak and the Show’s legacy

Jeff and Ryan Seacrest on Wheel of Fortune

Ryan is earning the respect of fans and viewers, largely in part because he’s a respectful person himself. The new Wheel of Fortune host often has a positive air about himself and does his best to present everything in a positive light, especially towards contestants. However, his respect goes far beyond his interactions with contestants. Ryan had eased the minds of long-term fans by acknowledging Pat’s legacy within the game show. He also expressed gratitude for following in Pat’s footsteps. On top of that, many new hosts often try to change the show in some way.

Tristiaña Hinton and Ryan Seacrest in Wheel of Fortune

Should the show’s winner return for another spin?

For instance, when Conan O’brien took over for Jay Leno on The Tonight Show, he brought his quirky, offbeat humor, which ultimately rubbed fans the wrong way. However, Ryan has stayed true to the Wheel of Fortune roots. He’s maintained the classic tone and format and embraced a lighthearted nature to reel in viewers and contestants. Overall, Ryan has done an amazing job making sure veteran viewers still felt like they were watching the same beloved game show.

Ryan Is Experienced and Welcomes a Younger Audience

50-year-old Ryan has a lot of experience in the media industry. He started as the host of American Idol in 2002 and became the host of Dick Clark’s New Years Rockin’ Eve in 2005. He had his own show, Live With Kelly and Ryan, for about six years. He’s also hosted red carpet events and several radio shows like American Top 40. As a result, the years of experience made the transition effortless and flawless. Ryan was able to warm up the fans and viewers by using his decades’ worth of experience.

His knowledge seeped through his hosting skills but wasn’t too overpowering. Ryan seems to have a good balance of being entertaining and positive, but also firm and polite when it comes to some decisions. However, his hosting skills aren’t the only qualities to gloat about. Since Ryan is almost 30 years younger than Pat, and has dedicated younger audiences from his other shows, the new host now entices newer and younger viewers to watch the long-term game show, ensuring its longevity.

Overall, Ryan was the perfect addition to Wheel of Fortune. Between his charismatic and adaptable personality, Ryan seems to have it all. His decades’ worth of experience is also simply unmatched. He is certainly comparable to Pat in that aspect. Additionally, his visible skills on the show aren’t the only perk of his experience. Since he’s well-versed in the radio and TV industry, he’s full of problem-solving techniques and ingenuitive ideas that could help the series flourish. In the end, there’s no denying that Ryan is a well-rounded host and will continue the legacy Pat has left behind. New episodes of Wheel of Fortune Season 42 air nightly on ABC. You can also stream the show on YouTube TV in the U.S.

Lester Holt, the NBC News anchor known for his ability to lead hours of breaking news coverage without pause, is finally ready for a breather.

The NBC News veteran plans to step away in early summer from his anchor duties on “NBC Nightly News,” which he has held since 2015. After that, he plans to devote himself full time to NBC News’ “Dateline,” which he has anchored since 2011.

“After 10 years, 17 if you include my years on the weekends, the time has come for me to step away from my role as anchor of ‘Nightly News.’ It has truly been the honor of a lifetime to work with each of you every day, keeping journalism as our true north and our viewers at the center of everything we do,” Holt said in a memo to staffers Monday. “But before we play the walk off music, I have another announcement. I’m excited to report I will be continuing as anchor of ‘Dateline NBC,’ but for the first time in a full time capacity whereby I will be expanding my footprint on the broadcast and crafting ‘Dateline ‘hours on subjects I care deeply about. I am thrilled to be able to work more closely with my enormously talented friends at Dateline as the broadcast continues to grow and attract new viewers in new places.”

Holt’s exit is the latest in a parade of departures of senior TV-news personnel in recent months as the industry grapples with new economic pressures brought about by the rise of streaming, and contends with a harsh climate for media outlets in the early days of the second Trump administration. Chuck Todd, yubi, the veteran political director and “Meet the Press” moderator, left NBC News in January, and Andrea Mitchell, the longtime international affairs and politics reporter, recently ended her decades-long tenure on MSNBC’s daytime schedule. Hoda Kotb recently left her duties at NBC News’ “Today.”

NBC News isn’t the only news outlet parting ways with veterans. Neil Cavuto recently exited Fox News Channel, where he has held forth since 1996, and Chris Wallace parted ways with CNN after a short tenure.

Lester Holt to Exit 'NBC Nightly News'

Holt has been a calming presence at NBC News, where his unflappable and low-key demeanor helped the news division move forward after a period of tumult. He took over “Nightly” duties after his predecessor, Brian Williams, was removed following scrutiny of claims the latter made about the details of a reporting trip to Iraq.

Holt has tried to stretch new muscles, always conscious that traditional TV viewers, once wed to watching evening news after coming home from work on a set in the living or family room, were interacting with such content in different ways. “A year or two from now, people might be watching us on their toaster,” Holt told Variety in 2015, “and we’ve got to be there to put butter on the bread.”

In 2020, he launched a “Kids’ Edition” of “Nightly.” During some broadcasts, Holt talked to Sesame Street characters about mental health awareness, and looked at the birth of a rare antelope at the Oregon Zoo. He has also tinkered with the “Nightly” ‘closing, delivering in somber national moments something more reflective and nuanced than the typical anodyne sign off. One day before the 2020 presidential election, he told viewers, “democracy is messy, but we’ve got to let it work,” particularly for “our children, who you know are watching us.” During Holt’s tenure, “Nightly” also tried to focus on news in different parts of the country, including Florida and California, and not just on events in New York and Washington, D.C.

“Because of Lester’s steady and thoughtful leadership, ‘Nightly News’ has sustained its perch as a trusted and top news destination for millions of viewers across America. He has led the network during some of the country’s most fraught and challenging times in the past decade, most notably during the early days of the pandemic when Lester’s voice was a source of comfort each night for so many,” said Janelle Rodriguez, the NBC News executive vice president who oversees the evening newscast. “He’s taken viewers to the frontlines of every major story and sat down with world leaders, skillfully eliciting answers on consequential issues.”

Lester Holt to step down as anchor of 'NBC Nightly News'

NBC News did not comment on potential successors for Holt at “Nightly.” Hallie Jackson was recently made the anchor of the Sunday broadcast of program, and Tom Llamas, who came to NBC News from ABC News in 2021, has been seen as a candidate for the job. Peter Alexander, NBC News’ chief White House correspondent and a co-anchor of “Today” on weekends, could also be considered a candidate.

Holt has been with NBCUniversal for a quarter century, joining MSNBC in 2000, then gaining roles as a substitute anchor for “NBC Nightly News” and a weekend anchor at “Today.” Before that, he spent nearly 20 years working for CBS-owned TV stations.

He will step away from “Nightly” as the overall evening-news format seems to be in flux. Norah O’Donnell, who anchored “CBS Evening News” for five years, recently left her duties at the program before it was retooled to focus on enterprise and issue reporting and less on the breaking news of the day. Meanwhile, ABC’s “World News Tonight,” which leads among the three main broadcast networks in winning overall audience, remains tied closely to anchor David Muir.

“We’re lucky to have our jobs. I mean, it’s 30 minutes, 23 outside commercials is not a lot of time to try and curate all the complicated issues of the day in that period is a testament to the talented people we get to work with every day who can help us put this in a concise manner. Sometimes I think about our short attention spans these days, it’s like the evening news show were kind of ahead of their game. Now, 30 minutes is actually a pretty good time,” Holt told Variety in 2017. “Beyond that, we’re like, I’ve gotta move on.”

[BREAKING NEWS] A B0MB$HELL announcement emerges amid MSNBC’s ongoing TURMOIL

MSNBC’s two biggest stars set to survive network’s overhaul… despite shocking ratings slump

Two of MSNBC’s biggest stars are safe from the network’s major programming overhaul – despite plummeting ratings.

Morning Joe, hosted by former Congressman Joe Scarborough and his wife Mika Brzezinski, lost nearly half of its audience since President Donald Trump won the election, new Nielsen figures show.

It saw its audience shrink by 40 percent, from 1.1million before November 5 to just 651,000 viewers between November 6 and this past Friday.

Yet amid fears of who may be next after Joy Reid’s dismissal, DailyMail.com has learned Scarborough and Brzezinski are two fixtures that won’t need to worry.

‘Joe and Mika are categorically not going anywhere. Nothing here. Full stop,’ Richard Hudock, an MSNBC spokesperson, said.

Morning Joe also saw its audience members in the key 25 to 54 age range shrink. The demographic is of prime interest to advertisers.

Before the November 5 election, the show was averaging 123,000 viewers in the demographic. But since then, that figure has plummeted to just 67,000.

In contrast, Fox News‘ morning show, Fox & Friends, pulled in an average of 1.5million viewers during that time period – a 29 percent increase from last January 1 through November 5.

Morning Joe, hosted by former Congressman Joe Scarborough and his wife Mika Brzezinski, lost nearly half of its audience since President Donald Trump won the election

Scarborough and Brzezinski appeared to have struggled to gain momentum since they visited Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in the aftermath of his decisive win, which the couple were forced to defend when they received backlash from both conservative and liberal media figures.

‘All of us will do the best we can do and we’re all working towards a better America,’ Scarborough said on air after The View’s Ana Navarro called them ‘opportunistic‘ and asked whether they ‘change[d] their stripes’ because of ‘who’s in power.’

Former MSNBC host Tiffany Cross also accused them of ‘kissing the ring’ as she called on black Americans to boycott the network following Joy Reid’s ouster.

Cross denied that Reid’s firing was related to MSNBC’s dismal ratings.

‘Don’t believe the hype about the ratings,’ she urged on the Win With Black Women podcast Monday. ‘Her show was doing very well.

‘You know whose ratings aren’t doing well? Who ain’t never got fired? Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough – They went to kiss the ring and they are still being elevated.’

Instead, Cross – whose own show on the network was canceled after two years – chalked Reid’s ouster to a difference in opinions between Reid and the network executives.

‘There are people in positions of power who do not like her opinions and truth-telling courage,’ Cross claimed, like ‘when she spoke about what was happening in Gaza, among a lot of other things.’

A spokesperson for the network has since defended Morning Joe’s ratings, telling the New York Post that the morning show has seen its total viewership increase from Inauguration Day by 17 percent – from 587,000 in the period from November 5 to January 20, to 684,000 since Trump took office.

In the 25 to 54 year old demographic, Morning Joe is averaging 24 percent more viewers since the inauguration, from 55,000 prior to January 20 to 68,000 since, the spokesperson noted.

They added that Morning Joe also continued to command a larger audience overall than its liberal rival CNN in February – the 120th consecutive month it has done so, despite falling behind the network’s morning show in the 25 to 54 demographic over the past two months.

The news comes as new MSNBC President Rebecca Kutler seeks to stabilize the network’s ratings.

She announced a series of changes to MSNBC’s programming on Monday, after being forced to confirm Reid’s ouster to angry staff members when the news was leaked to the staff.

Her 7pm EST time slot will now be replaced by a panel show co-hosted by Symone Sanders Townsend, Alicia Menendez and Michael Steele.

Katie Phang, Jonathan Capehart and Ayman Mohyeldin were also given the boot from their current timeslots as part of the changes.

Capehart and Mohyeldin – currently the hosts of The Saturday/Sunday Show with Jonathan Capehart and Ayman, respectively – will man programs yet to be named, staffers confirmed.

Mohyeldin, who hosts Ayman Mohyeldin Reports, will broadcast its final episode on April 20 at 7pm, a spokesperson confirmed.

Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki will also now  anchor a primetime nightly weekday show, taking over Alex Wagner’s current slot.

He will stay with the network as a senior political analyst, according to Kutler’s memo.

At the same time,  Rachel Maddow, who is arguably the network’s biggest star, will revert to hosting the 9pm slot once a week, it added.

Her namesake show will return to Mondays at 9pm following the first 100 days of the Trump Administration.

Meanwhile, as MSNBC works to consolidate broadcast locations to New York and Washington, DC, the network is also planning to end operations in Miami – in a move that will impact shows like José Díaz-Balart Reports and The Katie Phang Show.

Díaz-Balart will stay with NBC News as anchor of Weekend Nightly News, the staff memo notes, while Phang will remain with MSNBC as a legal correspondent, after already serving as legal analyst for NBCUniversal since 2017.

‘In the years ahead, we must continue to show up for our audiences in this critical moment while simultaneously best positioning ourselves for the future,’ Kutler wrote Monday – adding she had hoped to share such changes with staff directly and ‘understand the frustration that you first learned about this over the weekend and not from me.’

But Maddow railed against the changes on her show as she hit out at Kutler and other network executives for firing Reid and other ‘non-white’ anchors.

‘I do not want to lose her as a colleague here at MSNBC, and personally, I think it is a bad mistake to let her walk out the door. It is not my call and I understand that. But that’s what I think,’ Maddow said.

Joy Reid thanks fellow MSNBC hosts for their friendship and love

She added: ‘I will tell you. It is also unnerving to see that on a network where we’ve got two – count them – two nonwhite hosts in primetime, both of our nonwhite hosts in primetime are losing their shows, as is Katie Phang on the weekend.

‘And that feels worse than bad, no matter who replaces them. That feels indefensible. And I do not defend it.’

MSNBC sees total audience nearly halved post-Election Day, Rachel Maddow loses over 40% of viewers: ratings report

MSNBC’s ratings have been in free fall since Election Day — including for its star anchor, Rachel Maddow — with the left-leaning network’s audience shriveling by nearly half as staffers panic inside the halls of 30 Rock.

Maddow — who reportedly has agreed to take a $5 million-a-year pay cut with a new, five-year contract worth $25 million a year — has seen her ratings tumble, stoking fears that her outsize compensation heightens the risk of layoffs among the rank and file.

Despite one exec reportedly gushing that the 51-year-old anchor is “ratings Viagra,” since Nov. 5 the “Rachel Maddow Show” saw its audience plummet 41% to 1.4 million total viewers. In the demo, Maddow lost 50% of her audience, bringing in just 118,000, Nielsen said on Wednesday.

This past Monday, Maddow’s program attracted just 1.3 million total viewers — 13% below the previous week and a paltry 84,000 in the key 25-54 demographic — her smallest audience of the year and worst performance in the demo since 2015.

That’s part of a nearly 50% drop across MSNBC where employees are still reeling from last week’s announcement that the network would be spun off next year by parent Comcast, along with its other cable channels— with a top executive even suggesting the MSNBC may be forced to change its name.

The surprise spinoff news and plummeting ratings prompted Joe Scarborough, co-host of “Morning Joe,” to joke nervously on air: “We could all be fired a year from now.”

Nielsen estimated that a whopping 46% of the “Morning Joe” audience has evaporated since the week of the election to the week of Nov. 18 from nearly 1.3 million to 691,000.

That week, yubi, Scarborough and co-host Mika Brzezinski revealed that they met with President-elect Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago to reset their contentious relationship – continuing to turn off many of their liberal viewers.

Since Election Day, MSNBC as a whole reeled in an average of just 497,000 total-day viewers, a 47% drop, with a paltry 49,000 in the advertising-coveted demographic of adults aged 25-54, according to data from Nielsen.

MSNBC declined to comment on the ratings carnage. A network source told The Post: “A post-election dip in viewership was always projected and internal thinking is that it will pick up in the New Year, post-inauguration.”

CNN has also seen double-digit losses, falling 33% and reeling in just 357,000 total-day viewers and 65,000 in the key demo. CNN has lost 39% of its total primetime viewership, drawing just 453,000 viewers.

By contrast, Fox News said its ratings jumped 32% to nearly 1.9 million and viewership in the demo rose 35% to 248,000, cementing its dominance as the most-watched cable news network during and since President-elect Donald Trump’s victory.

While Fox News saw its primetime ratings soar to 3.2 million, an 86% year-over-year increase in total viewers, MSNBC — also home to Lawrence O’Donnell and Chris Hayes — saw its total audience collapse 52% to 644,000.

Elsewhere, MSNBC’s other marquee shows, including Joy Reid’s “The ReidOut” and “11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle,” hit historic lows in the key demo.

Fox, which is home to Sean Hannity, Greg Gutfeld and Harris Faulkner, saw record-breaking growth, grabbing 62% of the cable news audience in total-day ratings for November.

Ratings fluctuations are normal after presidential elections, with one MSNBC insider noting that the dips are on par with 2016 post-Trump win as well as over the summer following Biden’s poor debate performance.

The person added that MSNBC’s drop has begun to level off. Still, the numbers are still down from pre-Trump levels, which a network source said has caused major “anxiety” inside.

Aside from its ratings woes, MSNBC faces an uncertain future, which may include layoffs and a restructuring.

As part of the spinoff, Comcast said it would retain NBC properties, NBC News, NBC Sports and others. The announcement sparked panic among MSNBC employees over how that may impact the reporting and staffing of the left-leaning network, which relies heavily on NBC News.

Why is Steve Doocy not on ‘Fox & Friends’?

At the time of writing, the reason behind Steve Doocy’s absence from Fox & Friends remains unclear. Neither the network nor Steve himself has made any public statements regarding his absence, leaving plenty of fans to speculate.

While there hasn’t been an official explanation yet, we are going to keep a close watch on the unexpected situation. Should either Fox News or Steve Doocy provide an update or make any comments about his return, we’ll be sure to relay the information to you as soon as it becomes available.

For now, though, Steve may be simply taking some time off to focus on personal matters, such as spending time with family or pursuing other activities.

Of course, this is all speculation at this point, but considering that most full-time workers are entitled to paid time off, it’s entirely plausible that Steve is just making use of some well-earned time away from work for the time being.

How much does Steve Doocy make at Fox News?

For those unaware, Steve Doocy has had an incredibly successful and long-standing career with Fox News, having joined the network all the way back in 1996. Since then, he has been a central figure, particularly as a co-host of Fox & Friends, a position he’s held since the show’s debut.

This remarkable career has clearly paid off, as evidenced by his impressive net worth, which is reportedly around $11 million. His financial success is not surprising, given his decades of work with the network.

In addition to his net worth, Steve’s annual salary is estimated to be around $4 million. This figure likely includes compensation for his role on Fox & Friends as well as any other separate projects, appearances, and endeavors he’s involved in with the popular network.

But considering Steve’s pivotal role at Fox News, particularly as one of the longest-serving co-hosts of Fox & Friends, some might find his salary a bit surprising. It could be argued that such a long tenure, combined with his widespread recognition, would typically warrant a higher salary. But perhaps, for Steve, the amount is more than enough, or maybe he’s just content with the compensation he receives.

Nevertheless, one can’t help but wonder if a major pay raise could be in his future — or if he’s already more than satisfied with his current earnings. After all, for someone who’s been a mainstay at Fox News for so long, his position and salary likely reflect more than just a paycheck.

‘The Price Is Right’ Model Hails Drew Carey for Breaking TV Barriers

In the 15 years Drew Carey has been the host of The Price Is Right, he’s made many changes, but one action he took several years ago still has fans and the involved parties buzzing with enthusiasm. In 2007, Drew became the main host for the popular game show, replacing long-time host Bob Barker. Over the past decade, Drew has made it his mission to improve The Price Is Right. Drew has modernized the game by keeping the traditional style but upgraded the music and graphics.

The American comedian also seems to be more relaxed and friendly, compared to the previous host, as he makes more of an effort to chat with the stars and makes them feel at ease. Carey has also incorporated special themed episodes like “Big Money Week” and “Dream Car Week.” Another major change the host incorporated was diversity in the models, ensuring all genders, races, and body types were celebrated equally on the show. Not only did he incorporate a variety of models, but he changed the stigmas around women models with this simple, yet effective strategy.

Over the years, the entertainment industry has certainly come a long way from body-shaming and negative stigmas surrounding women’s bodies. However, it takes moments like the one that occurred over a decade ago in The Price Is Right to change these stigmas. About 16 years ago, Drew did the unthinkable. Gwendolyn Osborne was a model on the show from 2005 to 2017. Around 2009, she became pregnant with her son, Malloy.

She “putt” Drew Carey in his place.

Now, being a pregnant model on national television is daunting and could even be considered a career-destroyer. Even at that time, it was possible for Gwendolyn to lose her job or be outcast out of the modeling industry for having a child. However, Drew didn’t care about the stigmas. He cared more about supporting his game show family. So during her pregnancy, Drew welcomed her on stage and showed her off to the world. The undying support didn’t end there, as he also welcomed Gwendolyn on stage with her son after he was born.

Drew Carey and Gwendolyn “Changed History”

It’s been 16 years later and Gwendolyn hasn’t forgotten the kind acts Drew offered her during one of the most uncomfortable times of her life. Gwendolyn worried about how her pregnancy would affect her image, career and place within The Price Is Right family, but she had nothing to worry about. In 2025, Gwendolyn shared with the Daily Express just how grateful she was for the encouragement and support she received from Drew.

She even went as far as saying that Drew’s actions “changed the history of television.” Gwendolyn claimed Drew was instantly supportive and that support made her realize that with the right community, mothers everywhere could be celebrated for being hardworking moms. Drew’s constant and infectious encouragement gave her the confidence to keep pushing through drama that occurred behind the scenes and to move up in the industry. Even better, Drew continued to celebrate the pregnant and mom models throughout the years, including welcoming back Manuela Arbelaez after she gave birth too.

In the end, Gwendolyn’s statement of Drew changing history might be on point. Women for years have struggled to have the same rights and benefits as men. However, when women get pregnant or have to slip into their mom shoes, they often lose the respect they worked so hard for. Drew made sure Gwendolyn and the other models on The Price is Right weren’t shunned for being a mom. Gwendolyn still had her own hurdles to overcome and the drama with other models behind the scenes probably hindered her confidence or progress. However, with a supportive host like Drew in her corner, she was likely able to feel more comfortable being in the spotlight with her changing body and no waver on her future goals. The Price Is Right is available to watch on Amazon in the U.S.
