[VIDEO] Voice fans are going crazy for Michael Bublé and John Legend’s duet and begging for an official release

Michael Bublé and John Legend’s breathtaking duet of Otis Redding’s classic leaves fans begging for an official release

Michael Bublé and John Legend have once again proven why they are two of the most celebrated voices in music.

During Trailer Talk Season 4, Episode 1, the duo delivered an awe-inspiring duet of Otis Redding’s timeless classic (Sittin’ On) The Dock of the Bay, leaving fans completely speechless.

Their soulful harmonies and effortless vocal chemistry gave the beloved song a fresh and emotional new feel, making it one of the most talked-about performances of the season.

    Watch their duet below.

As soon as the episode aired, social media erupted with fans begging the two legends to release an official recording of their rendition. “This NEEDS to be on Spotify ASAP,” one fan tweeted, while another wrote, “Their voices blend so perfectly, I need this on repeat!”

Their collaboration comes at a time when both artists are making waves on The Voice Season 27. Bublé, the newest coach on the show, has already shown he’s willing to go to great lengths to win over contestants. In a hilarious moment, he promised to get a tattoo of contestant Ari Camille’s name if she chose him as her coach.

The other judges, including Legend, immediately called his bluff, joking that his wife would never allow it. The friendly rivalry between Bublé and Legend has been one of the highlights of the season, keeping audiences entertained both on and off the stage.

While The Voice continues to bring lighthearted competition, their duet on Trailer Talk was a true musical moment that reminded fans of the magic that happens when two incredible vocalists join forces.

(Sittin’ On) The Dock of the Bay, originally released in 1968, was one of Otis Redding’s final songs before his untimely passing. The melancholic yet soothing tune has remained one of the greatest soul songs of all time, covered by countless artists. However, Bublé and Legend managed to bring something new to it, infusing the track with their signature styles while staying true to the song’s heartfelt essence.

After receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Michael Bublé is “Feeling Good!”

On Friday — the same day that his latest studio album Love debuted — the Grammy winner, 43, received the coveted honor alongside his wife Luisana Lopilato. As Bublé accepted spoke from the stage, the actress wiped away tears as she proudly looked on from the audience.

“The longer I live, the more I realize that love isn’t free. Love has a great cost. The more you love, the more you hurt,” Bublé said during his speech.

“When I woke up this morning, I thought about that because I thought that for all of you people — all of those people who have loved me and supported me through the good times and the bad, I would risk that love a million times over for all of you,” he continued. “So thank you so much for that great honor today.”

Through smiles, laughter and jokes with friends Priscilla Presley and record producer David Foster, Bublé made it clear that he is happier than ever and ready for the next chapter in his life after his 5-year-old son Noah’s terrifying cancer diagnosis in 2016.

The star also thanked Noah, his 2-year-old son Elias and 3-month-old daughter Vida in his emotional speech. “My children, who have given me a purpose for life and have made days like this even sweeter … I can truly understand how beautiful the good moments are,” he said.

While Bublé spoke, Lopilato, 31, wiped away tears of excitement with a tissue as she held hands with Bublé’s mother Amber.

“My wife, there’s nothing I can really say that can express how I feel about her and what we’ve been through,” Bublé said. “She is my hero and my rock.”

Foster, 69, who helped produce Love, expressed his admiration for the “Haven’t Met You Yet” crooner.

“There’s no one like him on this planet,” Foster said. “At least living.”

Listing Foster’s life experiences and accolades, Foster mentioned “tragedy,” referring to Bublé’s son’s battle with cancer.

“I’ve never met an artist who is more focused on who he wants to be and who he has become,” he says. “Even the biggest dreams have limitation but Michael kept on moving the goalpost.”

The ceremony comes just over a week after Bublé announced he is launching the Don’t Believe the Rumors tour in 2019, which will mark his first tour since Noah’s diagnosis.

“My record being out today and having a star here on the Walk of Fame, I have personally never felt so self-important before,” he said, laughing. “I think everyone in this business probably struggles with not mixing up who you are with what you do and trying to separate your ego from your spirit.”

    Tragic Details About Ryan Seacrest

Though it may be hard to believe, “American Idol” made its debut more than two decades ago. That means that Ryan Seacrest has been on television screens for just as long — not that you would know it from looking at his skin, hair, teeth, body, or superhuman levels of stamina. In 2024, Seacrest replaced Pat Sajak as host of “Wheel of Fortune,” adding game show host to his impressively long list of jobs (well, he technically earned the title hosting the short-lived “Million Second Quiz” in 2013).

This is not the first time the star has stepped into a famous role. From taking over for Dick Clark on “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” to filling Casey Kasem’s role on the ironic “American Top 40,” Seacrest is no stranger to filling big shoes.

Though his Hollywood career began in 1996, it was not until “Idol’s” 2002 start that Seacrest became a known name — though he was certainly not hurting for jobs when the “Wheel” landed on him. As a talent, highlights include “Idol,” “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” “E! News,” and the radio show “On Air With Ryan Seacrest.” As a producer, Seacrest has had a hand in dozens of projects, most notably “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” “Shahs of Sunset,” and “Shades of Blue.” Plus, he regularly produces and hosts red-carpet coverage and specials. For all the happiness and zeal he exudes on screen, Seacrest’s life has not been without its hardships. Here are some tragic details about Hollywood dynamo Ryan Seacrest.

Ryan Seacrest was bullied for his weight growing up

For as much grief as “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell and others have given Ryan Seacrest for his looks — from his fashion sense to his height to his never-not-tan skin — no one really targeted his body. That is, not since he was a child. As a kid, Seacrest was actually overweight, and his peers were none too kind about it. “I do remember that feeling of growing up and being a little bit overweight. I also remember at times being teased about it and because of that it’s still in my brain,” he said in an interview with Men’s Journal. “I never want to feel that way again, and that motivates me to strive hard for balance without cutting anything that I truly enjoy, but while also knowing I can’t have it all the time.”

In that same interview, Seacrest discussed other ways his weight made his childhood years difficult. “I remember it vividly. Like going swimming and not taking off my shirt before jumping in the pool because I was a chubby kid or going to shop for the first day of school and being in the husky jeans section at Marshall’s,” he explained. While he is now super fit, Seacrest is at least partially driven by the bullying he experienced. He is in the gym five hours a week and uses any spare moment he can to incorporate fitness into his life — which sometimes even includes doing pushups or light weights during a minutes-long commercial break.

As many people know, body image issues can persist long after one has “fixed” their so-called exterior problem(s). Weight-related body issues are probably some of the hardest to overcome, especially for those who were bullied as children, as Ryan Seacrest was. Being on screen also does not help, as Hollywood — and culture, in general — has warped perceptions of what natural, aging bodies look like. Seacrest has been open about how his childhood weight issues remain central in his mind, even today. “I was teased for it, and I will always see that little boy when I look in the mirror,” he once told co-host Kelly Ripa on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” (via People). “I cannot get past it, I’ve talked to our experts about it, but for some reason, I just cannot see that guy.”

The pressure to look a certain way is evident when Ryan Seacrest talks about his workout routine, but it is especially relevant to how he deals with food. In that same episode, the star admitted to “obsessing” over his dietary intake and having an unhealthy preoccupation with food in general. “You spend a great deal of time fixating on what you’re eating and what you’re not eating and when you’re eating and how much you’re eating and how many times of day you’re eating,” Ripa told her co-host. Unsurprisingly, fans have expressed worry about Seacrest at times, such as when he went on an all-broth diet in 2021.

If you need help with an eating disorder or know someone who does, help is available. Visit the National Eating Disorders Association website or contact NEDA’s Live Helpline at 1-800-931-2237. You can also receive 24/7 Crisis Support via text (send NEDA to 741-741).

Ryan Seacrest suffered a health scare while on the air in 2020

One reason why fans were so concerned about Ryan Seacrest’s broth diet was because it came not long after a late 2020 health scare made it clear the star was not taking proper care of his body. It all happened on the air, too, during a May 2020 episode of “American Idol.” As the host was reading from the teleprompter, his eye drooped and his speech became slurred — leaving many convinced Seacrest had a stroke on live television. While that was not the case, no actual diagnosis has ever been disclosed beyond mere exhaustion. “It’s personal, but I definitely knew that I needed to slow down,” Seacrest later told The Wall Street Journal. “I just had burnt myself out. I was absolutely beat and fatigued and just wasn’t letting myself accept that. Now I do.”

Seacrest’s 50th birthday is in December 2024, and he has confessed to adapting his workouts and habits to retain his verve as he ages. That has meant eating even more cleanly, with a diet that is dairy-free and mostly plant-based. It has also meant adding in lots of cold water therapy and steams for muscle recovery after workouts. While Seacrest took some of the medical advice he got in 2020 to heart, he certainly did not take in the recommendation that he slow down. “To say no to things is difficult. You want to say yes,” he said in the WSJ interview. “When I say no to something, I feel guilt in terms of an obligation.”

A stylist tried to get money from Ryan Seacrest by alleging sexual harassment

Government data suggests that thousands of sexual harassment cases get reported each year, and those are just the ones that get reported. It is also known that sexual violence of all forms is rarely falsely reported (compared to truthful reports), despite what some famous men will have you believe. But even with a default commitment to believing accusers, due process is always important (and celebrities being falsely accused is not without precedent). Had he been found to have committed any of the reported acts, Ryan Seacrest’s sexual harassment scandal would not be on our list. But since a major investigation found no evidence of wrongdoing, it is difficult not to believe Seacrest’s extortion claims. The person who accused him of sexual harassment reportedly asked for a large amount of money to hush up, which calls their motives into question.

“Recently, someone that worked as a wardrobe stylist for me nearly a decade ago at E! News, came forward with a complaint suggesting I behaved inappropriately toward her. If I made her feel anything but respected, I am truly sorry,” Seacrest said in a statement he released preemptively (via Deadline). “I dispute these reckless allegations and I plan to cooperate with any corporate inquiries that may result. I treat all my colleagues with kindness, dignity, and understanding, as this is a principle that’s core to who I am.” The E! Channel conducted a full-scale investigation, wherein Seacrest was vindicated as they found insufficient evidence to support the stylist’s claims.

Ryan Seacrest lost a dear friend in May 2024

While we all know death is a necessary part of existing, that knowledge does not make experiencing grief any less painful. And with all of the medical knowledge, medications, and technologies that now exist, we are also often surprised by death — even the death of someone in their 60s can feel like a shock considering the average American is expected to live to about 77 years old as of 2024. It all goes to reason that Ryan Seacrest was feeling that way when his good friend Sam Rubin died unexpectedly in May 2024, at 64. “Sam was one of those guys that made you laugh all the time. I was always impressed by his sense of humor, his skillset, his ability to make everybody feel so important,” Seacrest told KTLA.

A well-known journalist in the entertainment realm, Rubin was a founding member of the Critics Choice Association and an on-air personality at “KTLA Morning News” for over 30 years. He was also an important figure in Seacrest’s climb to the top, as the “American Idol” host noted in an Instagram tribute. “Early in my career, one of my first live roles on Los Angeles TV was filling in for Sam when he was on vacation. His charm, his fun spirit, and his professionalism always impressed me. My condolences to his family and his KTLA family. He’ll be missed by us all,” Seacrest wrote alongside a photo of the duo at Disneyland’s California Adventure for the 2024 Pixar Fest (pictured above).

[VERY SAD] Some ‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Fans Reveals Ryan Seacrest’s Days On The Show As The Host Are Numbered

‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Why Fans Say Ryan Seacrest’s Days Are Numbered

    Wheel Of Fortune: Ryan Seacrest

New Wheel Of Fortune host Ryan Seacrest has been under an incredible amount of scrutiny since he took over for Pat Sajak. Even though he has put his best foot forward when it has come to the huge shoes to fill, many viewers are still rooting against him, with many saying that his days as the host are numbered. So, what are fans saying?

Wheel Of Fortune: Ryan Seacrest Stepped Into The Lion’s Den With New Gig

It is not a stretch to say that no one has been under a microscope the same way that Ryan Seacrest has been since taking over hosting duties on Wheel Of Fortune from Pat Sajak. Game show fans love tradition when it comes to their favorite game shows, and changing something like the host is a major deal that can easily make or break a program.

Even Ryan Seacrest has been open about feeling the pressure since he has been in the hot seat. Seacrest may have years of experience hosting shows like American Idol, but, taking on the world of Wheel Of Fortune is a completely different beast, as Ryan has found out since taking the job.

Fans Say Seacrest Is On Borrowed Time As The Game Show Host

Based on recent comments from Wheel Of Fortune fans, many already feel as though Ryan Seacrest has overstayed his welcome on the show. Recently, many commenters came forward with their thoughts on why they think this will be a short-lived gig for him.

One recent Wheel Of Fortune commenter said: “I’m sorry, but I can’t stomach Ryan. His delivery is smug and he seems so condescending.”
A second commenter chimed in, adding: “he’s trying but it just isn’t working.”
A third commenter added to the discussion, saying: “He’s definitely no Pat, but then again, no one is.”

Do Wheel Of Fortune Execs Have A Contingency Plan In Place?

While a lot of people may not like Ryan Seacrest as the new Wheel Of Fortune host, it seems that the game show brass may also be preparing a backup plan, just in case things don’t work out with the new host for the long haul.

One of the points of contention between Ryan Seacrest and the game show is that Wheel Of Fortune execs want Ryan’s undivided attention. Even though they may be willing to pay top dollar for his services, as many people know, Seacrest is also the face of American Idol.

However, it seems there is a backup plan in place to plug Maggie Sajak into the hosting gig if things don’t work out longterm with Ryan, and, based on a lot of fan comments, it seems many viewers would prefer that.

Ryan Seacrest is opening up about what working with his Wheel of Fortune co-star Vanna White is really like. White has been part of the iconic American TV game show since 1982, which makes her the perfect person to help Seacrest adjust to his new role. Seacrest took over as the host of Wheel of Fortune in September 2024 following Pat Sajak’s retirement. According to the American TV presenter, White’s presence on set immediately made him feel at home.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Seacrest credited White with helping him learn the ropes. In Seacrest’s exact words: “She’s an institution, an icon.” The TV host shared how generous White is, which might not always be evident on camera. Seacrest recalled confiding in his cohost about his habit of drinking strong black coffee, which sometimes visibly stains his teeth. The next day, White surprised him by bringing a pack of whitening strips. Seacrest admitted that he was genuinely touched by the kind gesture.

The topic came up when ABC’s Rebecca Jarvis talked about how many people propose in Times Square after the New Year’s countdown. Her co-host Will Reeve jokingly added that he should have proposed on New Year’s Eve with Seacrest hosting. That’s when Seacrest jumped in to say: “There’s still time for me.”

Ryan Seacrest Shares Update on His Dating Life

He later added that he wasn’t looking to rush things and was taking his time with love. The news comes a few months after Seacrest broke up with model Aubrey Paige back in April 2024 after dating for three years. At the time, an insider told PEOPLE that the former couple had parted ways on a good note and that they still remained good friends.

However, another source told Closer Weekly that the two called it quits because of Seacrest’s busy work schedule. According to the insider, Paige wanted to get married and have kids, while Seacrest wasn’t ready for that. 2024 marked Seacrest’s 20th year as a host on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.

But even with his years of experience, the host admitted that there’s always chaos going on behind the scenes that viewers never know about. Wheel of Fortune Season 42 airs weeknights on ABC. Episodes are also available to stream on YouTube TV in the U.S.

RYAN Seacrest is getting luxury treatment as the new Wheel of Fortune host, including a VIP parking spot for his $400k Aston Martin just steps from the stage, The U.S. Sun can reveal.

The television icon has only taken over Pat Sajak’s coveted role for two months but already appears to be feeling right at home with his new work family.

Ryan, 49, lives the life of luxury when taping Wheel of Fortune episodes at the Sony Studios lot in Los Angeles, CA – which only films 36 days out of the year as multiple games are recorded daily.

A few steps outside the Stage 11 doors where WoF films, there are just four parking spots for those at the top of the call sheet.

All other crew members must park in the garage on the other side of the 45-acre lot – and either make the far walk or use bicycles to get around the expansive area.

Lucky for the American Idol host, he is able to park his custom matte black Aston Martin, which would retail for close to $400k with all the bells and whistles, just outside the door, a source told The U.S. Sun.

Though Ryan gets the best spot in the house, game show icon Vanna White, 67, is only a few steps farther – getting to park her red Porsche SUV beside her new co-star.

In addition to Ryan and Vanna’s well-earned VIP spot, the hosts also get to arrive later to set than other crew members.

Throughout the show, Ryan and Vanna are the only two who get to sneak away backstage for a break while the remainder of the staffers continue their roles.

Vanna also frequently steps behind the letter board and revealed that she does so in order to know what the next puzzle is going to be.

In between games, as the crew films anywhere from three to six episodes a day, Ryan and Vanna head backstage to get an entire new wardrobe so it appears to the at-home viewer that the game was filmed on a different day.

Vanna, who has become famous for her stunning array of evening gowns, does not get to keep her dresses as they often go back to the designer after she is done filming.

In between takes, a makeup-artist will frequently come out to powder Ryan’s nose or fix Vanna’s lipstick – as well as to make sure each strand of hair is in perfect place.

A fresh water bottle with a straw, presumably to not ruin the make-up, is also brought out to the on-camera talent during each break.

Ryan was a natural at his new role, getting a huge roar of applause from the moment he stepped on stage and keeping the audience’s attention captivated every minute that followed.

He got along well with the crew members and even earned high praise from the show’s famed announcer, Jim Thornton.

“It’d take a special kind of person to step in for Pat but no one is better than Ryan,” Jim gushed.

Ryan moved back to Los Angeles from New York City earlier this year after announcing he was leaving his Live With Kelly and Ryan gig to host WoF’s season 42.

Last month, a source exclusively told The U.S. Sun that Ryan was willing to put in the work to earn a place “out of” Pat’s shadow.

    Wheel of Fortune’s big changes

The game show has undergone a major transformation now that Ryan Seacrest has taken over hosting duties for Pat Sajak.

-Ryan and Vanna White now host on a brand-new set, featuring a blue-toned stage, a green screen and art-deco wheel design.

-Ryan and Vanna make their big entrance from behind new sliding, brightly lit doors.

-Vanna turns – or now, touches – a modern, digital puzzle board controlled by lasers.

-Ryan brings a new hosting style, and has ditched Pat’s signature cue cards.

-The prizes have also been upgraded, and now include tickets to NFL games, and tickets to A-list concerts.

“You have to feel for Ryan Seacrest because he’s willing to work in Pat’s shadow for longer than he expected he would have to when he signed up to take over Wheel.

“If Ryan negotiates a longer-term contract this year, which is expected since he’s only under a two-year deal at the moment, he’s going to have to stake a very strong claim on the primetime specials and celebrity editions.

“And why shouldn’t he? Ryan has endless experience as a primetime host, his Wheel ratings so far are amazing, and he is more experienced than Pat when it comes to bantering with celebrities on camera.

“Ryan is respectful of Pat and his legacy, but everybody involved with the show expects him to take a lot more ownership of the franchise once Pat has truly left the building once and for all,” the insider said.

Though Ryan has had a rocky start and trouble adjusting to his role as host during the first few episodes to his debut season, ratings don’t reflect his struggles.

The U.S. Sun previously reported 8,310,000 viewers watched Wheel of Fortune for the premiere week of September 9 to September 15.

As for rival game show Jeopardy!, which is hosted by Ken Jennings, 7,113,000 viewers tuned in for the episodes.

Wheel of Fortune taking over the top spot is a shock, as Jeopardy! brought in more viewers overall last season.

All of a sudden, Daniel got down on one knee and proposed to Chaseedaw, who said yes in an emotional sequence.

Strahan then made his presence known and hosted their wedding.

Then, Daniel, who’s the dad of four young children, told his bride Chaseedaw that her family and friends were in the studio to witness the two taking their vows.

Champion officiated the wedding, while Strahan and co-host Lara Spencer had their roles in the ceremony.

Strahan then stunned the couple with a honeymoon and told them they would be traveling to The Cayman Island for six nights at a lavish hotel.

Social media users reacted to the segment, sharing their approval of the ceremony scene which involved Strahan.

“This is absolutely beautiful. I’m home watching and crying,” one commented.

“This is so lovely!” a second wrote.

“It’s too early to be crying this much! I’m watching the wedding now… simply beautiful,” a third added.

Strahan, who has been a Fox NFL Sunday mainstay since 2008, was part of the show’s pregame coverage of Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The Philadelphia Eagles thrashed the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in the big game.

The 53-year-old Strahan, who doesn’t usually speak about his future on Fox NFL Sunday, posted on Instagram and gave an emotional message following the Super Bowl.

He shared that he’ll work on the hit NFL pregame show for the 2025 season after a long spring and summer break.

    “#SuperBowlLIX on @nflonfox,” he said.

“What a time with the fellas.

    “Until next year!”

Strahan was part of a Fox NFL Sunday crew that made history during Super Bowl weekend.

The program averaged a record 23.4 million viewers from 1:00 pm Eastern to kickoff.

Maggie Sajak could take over Wheel of Fortune hosting job from Ryan Seacrest if he ‘can’t work out new contract’

WHEEL of Fortune social media correspondent Maggie Sajak could end up taking over Ryan Seacrest’s hosting job if he doesn’t sign a new contract.

Ryan, 49, took over Maggie’s dad Pat’s longtime job this fall after the iconic star hosted the game show for over 40 years.

Despite her beloved dad’s departure, Maggie, 29, has remained on Wheel of Fortune in her role as social media correspondent.

Maggie has proven popular with viewers, and has created buzz for the show through her use of Instagram and TikTok.

“It’s important to allow Maggie to develop her own voice when it comes to the Wheel fan base, and that makes her incredibly valuable to Sony TV,” an insider told The U.S. Sun.

“Because the whole point of bringing in Ryan Seacrest was to reach more young people.”

    UNCERTAIN FUTURE

As The U.S. Sun previously reported, Ryan’s arrival on the show has brought a major boost in ratings.

But he has only reportedly signed an official contract for two years, leaving Wheel of Fortune’s future uncertain.

“Sony loves the ratings and wants to negotiate a much longer contract for Ryan, but right now they have to have contingency plans in place in case Ryan simply decides to move on,” the insider claimed.

“Maggie has positioned herself to help out if there’s a hosting vacancy, and the franchise is in her blood and her appreciation for the world of Wheel of Fortune is genuine.”

Whether Ryan stays or goes, Wheel of Fortune execs hope to keep Maggie on the show for years to come.

“Maggie’s already proven herself to be a super-valuable member of the Wheel family, especially during this time of transition,” the insider said.

    LAWYER LIFE

In addition to her job on Wheel of Fortune, Maggie also recently became a licensed attorney.

“Thank you to everyone who supported me through this journey,” she proudly posted in November.

“Excited to do some good with this in the future.”

As The U.S. Sun exclusively reported, Maggie’s law license was issued on September 7, 2024, by the State Bar of California.

She graduated from Georgetown University Law School in Washington, DC in May 2023.

    VANNA’S REPLACEMENT?

In May 2023, Maggie filled in for longtime Wheel of Fortune co-host Vanna White, and fans thought she could take over upon the 67-year-old beauty’s eventual retirement.

Vanna seemed to hint Maggie could take on her legendary position standing next to the letterboard in the future.

“I think she’s a good replacement if I can’t be there for some reason,” she told E! in October 2023.

“She’s been around it her whole life, so I think she can fill in for me for sure.

    “She’s precious, she’s beautiful, she’s very good.

“I think she learned a lot from her father because he’s such a good interviewer. I think she’s good for our show.”

Drew Carey admits it’s ‘not unusual’ Price is Right players arrive ‘smelling like alcohol’ as host shares show secrets

It happens quite frequently, he told TV Insider in an exclusive interview.

“Oh, that happens here all the time,” Carey said.

“They’ll have a gummy or I’ll smell alcohol on their breath. Not unusual. There was a guy here that was tripping on mushrooms.”

    HOSTING DUTIES

Carey took over The Price is Right when the show’s original host Bob Barker retired.

Although Carey kept up the same energy and ease with contestants, he admitted that he never saw himself in this role.

In fact, he admitted that he used to “look down” at game show hosts.

But after having risen the ranks, Carey affirms that the host’s job is so much “fun.”

With Barker’s death anniversary coming up Carey said he wants to do everything he can to keep the show running and entertaining.

“And I want to be a good steward of the show, so I don’t screw it up and wreck it from the very beginning,” he said.

“I just wanted to make sure it was always on.”

    WHAT’S IN STORE?

The host admits that he’s a fan of the regular shows for the most part, but would love to take a trip to Seoul, South Korea.

The Price is Right host Drew Carey insults contestant after commenting on his grammatically incorrect Plinko game shirt
“Maybe do a whole week and have K-pop bands on as special guests to help play the prizes,” he suggested.

“Korea is one of our strongest allies, and I think it would help put a dent in some of the Asian hate that’s out there right now.”

He also revealed that there are certain prizes on the show that he wished he could win.

Carey mentioned that he’s quite fond of traveling and would love to win a cooking trip to Italy, a tour of the Vatican, or a trip to a different island – if he could.

    TOUGH LOVE

    The Price is Right Hosts

The Price is Right first came on TV in 1972. Fans fell in love with the game show so much that it has been on for over 50 years. Throughout that time, the show has had a few different hosts. Find out who they are below.

Bob Barker – 1972 to June 2007 (also became executive producer in 1988)

Drew Carey – October 2007 to present

Dennis James – filled in for Bob in 1974 when he missed four episodes, also hosted the nighttime version

Craig Ferguson – 2014 April Fools Day Special

Drew Carey is known for making jokes at the expense of his contestants.

Earlier this month, the host took a dig at one contestant on The Price is Right, which led fans to praise him for the hilarious moment.

The game show host criticized the contestant who bid just one dollar over the person next to her — a common strategy for getting onto The Price is Right stage.

He took it further, calling out the contestant named Karen for living up to her name.

She also wore a shirt that read “The Original Karen,” in the font of the classic game show.

In another instance, Carey laid into a Price is Right contestant, leading to a pile-on of jokes at the player’s expense.

The game show host commented on a player’s grammatically incorrect shirt.

“What an absolute highlight to host @todayshow – for the first time ever – alongside @hodakotb this morning,” the 48-year-old veteran correspondent said. “That was some of the most fun I’ve ever had on TV. Hoda has been a mentor and friend for years and, as I shared with her before air today, I’m so grateful for how incredibly kind and supportive of me she has been since the day we met, 20+ years ago. Like the rest of America, I’ll be celebrating her next week and I’ll always cherish sharing the desk with her today.”
