[CONGRATULATION] Country star Lainey Wilson gets engaged to boyfriend Devlin Duck Hodges

Lainey Wilson Announces Engagement to Former Steelers QB

During her performance Saturday night at Faster Horses, Lainey Wilson spoke of working to stay grounded amid the explosive rise that took her from obscurity four years ago to festival-headlining status this summer.

Country music star Lainey Wilson has announced her engagement to former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Devlin “Duck” Hodges, who became a fan favorite during his brief stint with the team, on Instagram.

The pair began dating in 2021 after meeting in Nashville, Tennessee. Wilson won the Grammy Award for the Best Country Album in 2024 and is a nine-time CMA Award recipient as well.

Hodges’ NFL career began in 2019 as an undrafted free agent with the Steelers out of Samford, where he became the all-time leaders in passing yards at the FCS level with 14,584.

He didn’t make the team’s initial 53-man roster out of the preseason, though he eventually landed on the practice squad after clearing waivers.

Pittsburgh’s world was flipped upside down when Ben Roethlisberger sustained an elbow injury that required surgery against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2 that held him out for the remainder of the year.

Hodges was promoted to the active roster as a corresponding move and would later step onto the field to make his regular season debut in Week 5 after Mason Rudolph went down with a concussion versus the Baltimore Ravens.

After guiding the Steelers to wins in each of his first three starts, Hodges then lost his final three outings of the campaign as the team fell short of a playoff berth with an 8-8 record.

He finished his rookie season with 1,063 passing yards, five touchdowns and eight interceptions.

Hodges was released ahead of the 2020 campaign, though he went unclaimed once again and resided on Pittsburgh’s practice squad for the entire year.

After his Steelers contract expired, he agreed to a reserve/futures deal with the Los Angeles Rams in January 2021. They cut Hodges before the regular season commenced, however, and he’d go on to play a year for the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League ahead of his retirement in April 2022.

[SO SAD] Miranda Lambert is heartbroken and Reportedly Made These Physical Changes to ‘Save Marriage’ With Brendan McLoughlin

Miranda Lambert Reportedly Made These Physical Changes to ‘Save Marriage’ With Brendan McLoughlin

Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin haven’t exactly been on great footing since that video came to light (yknow, the one of him dancing rather sexily with another woman). But now, insiders are claiming they’re both working on fixing their marriage, and as for Lambert, she’s making some physical changes.

Insiders recently told InTouch Weekly that Lambert has allegedly been making some physical changes after her husband was videoed flirtatiously dancing with another woman.

    More from SheKnows

“They’ve been through a rough time but Miranda’s ready to forgive and forget. Brendan’s got a lot of making up to do and the cheating scandal, as people are calling it, spurred Miranda to make some changes too,” they said, detailing how she’s amping up the sexiness in her wardrobe.

“They’ve always had a physical connection, now Miranda’s raised the bar by dressing sexier, changing up her hair and makeup,” they said. “She’s never been one for plastic surgery, but word is she’s doing a little non-invasive stuff here and there….She’s going for the blonde bombshell look and it’s working on Brendan like a tonic.”

So, if you need a recap, in the summer of 2024, McLoughlin was seen dancing with at least one woman, which many dubbed inappropriate despite the woman coming out in defense of him. Many even considered this cheating, and after this happened, both have stayed quite silent about it. But insiders are claiming that while McLoughlin is working on forgiveness, Lambert is focusing on feeling (and looking) good.

However, insiders have made it clear time and time again that Lambert isn’t 100 percent ready to forgive.
“There’s absolutely no way that Miranda is staying quiet about Brendan’s flirty videos that are circulating on social media,” an In Touch source said earlier this year.

For those who don’t know, Lambert and McLoughlin married on Jan 26, 2019 after getting together in late 2018. Things have seemed great between the two until that flirty video came out.

Miranda Lambert Hints at Split from Husband With Cryptic Message To Fans

Reading Time: 3 minutesMiranda Lambert is dropping hints at a split from husband Brendan McLoughlin.

And considering her husband’s recent shady activity, it’s no real surprise.

She hasn’t posted a divorce announcement. In fact, the country singer hasn’t directly addressed her husband’s scandal with the public.

But, on social media, she appears to telling fans to get rid of things that are holding them back. Things like her own husband, perhaps?

Is Miranda Lambert dropping hints at a split from husband Brendan McLoughlin?

It’s only been a few months since Brendan turned heads and ignited ire with his inappropriate shenanigans in a Nashville bar.

Wife Miranda Lambert didn’t rake him across the coals on social media. Not in the immediate aftermath or in the weeks that followed.

But her one TikTok post from the singer seems to be talking about ridding herself of the unwanted, improving her life, and encouraging followers to do the same.
Miranda Lambert in May of 2024.Miranda Lambert performs onstage during the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards at The Ford Center at The Star on May 16, 2024. (Photo Credit: Jason Kempin/Getty Images)
In the controversial TikTok share, Miranda Lambert seemed to drop some mahoe hints.

One photo showed a selfie in front of an RV while she waved the the camera. “This is your sign to …” the caption began.

As the slideshow continued, the caption advised followers to “say goodbye to anything that isn’t serving you anymore.”

Another hint was Miranda’s song choice for the TikTok

Before TikTok exploded early in the COVID-19 pandemic, it was musical.ly, a more obscure app used almost exclusively by younger children.

It has always prioritized specific music (and other audio) choices, even when the main content of a post is a life update, a political message, or a thirst trap.

In this case, Miranda Lambert chose one of her own songs, “Dammit Randy.” Not only is the single a (very) recent hit within the Country music community, but it seems to have a clear thematic message.

On her Instagram, Miranda explained that the fundamental meaning of “Dammit Randy” is best summarized by a middle finger. In American culture, a raised middle finger is an extremely rude gesture, equivalent to “f–k you.”

Obviously, Miranda’s song could be about any of her crappy exes. It could also simply be a creative work. Not all songs are autobiographical.

But it would certainly be a relevant music choice if she’s dropping hints that her husband is now her ex. Especially when she’s paring it with a message of ridding herself of something that’s not making her happy.

What did Miranda Lambert’s husband do?

On June 24, a video circulated on social media showing Brendan dancing with women at Casa Rosa — which is also Miranda’s bar.

His dancing seemed to be extremely flirtatious. He danced with more than one woman, and appeared to have very intense conversations with at least one of them.

Though one of those women went on to defend the exchange as “innocent,” Miranda’s fans were deeply suspicious. It did not, they observed, seem to be the behavior of a (faithfully) married man.
Miranda Lambert in the middle of May in 2024.Miranda Lambert attends the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards at Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star on May 16, 2024. (Photo Credit: Jason Kempin/Getty Images)
This is not the first time that fans have wondered about Miranda and Brendan’s marriage.

However, between that video, Miranda’s TikTok, and the fact that neither of them have publicly addressed it … things aren’t looking good for their union.

To be blunt: if you’re just a few weeks out from your husband publicly dancing with other women, you know that a TikTok about moving on while playing a breakup anthem is going to look like hints at a split. Miranda Lambert has to realize that … and maybe that’s why she posted it.

Reba McEntire and Rex Linn are happier than ever after celebrating five years together, and friends are urging the former NCIS actor to finally propose and put a ring on her finger, a source exclusively tells Closer.

“Rex and Reba are so in love, and she is a very traditional woman. It’s hard to imagine she wouldn’t want to get married,” the insider says.

The source notes that the “I’m a Survivor” singer, 69, and the Young Sheldon actor, 68, “already act like a married couple,” so they might as well make things official!

“They’ve been inseparable since almost day one,” the insider continues. However, there’s one thing that could stand in the way of the couple taking the next step in their relationship.

“Reba isn’t the type to do the asking. If it’s going to happen, Rex has to take the lead, and the problem is, he’s quite a commitment-phobe,” the source says. “He’s never been married. There’s a reason for that, and it’s not for a lack of women that wanted to marry him.”

While Rex has yet to make it down the aisle, Reba has been married twice — first to Charlie Battles from 1976 to 1987 and then to Narvel Blackstock from 1989 to 2015.

Though Reba “plays it cool and would never pressure” Rex into marriage, the source concludes that his “family and friends think he’s crazy for not locking her down and they’re telling him not to miss this shot. As much as she acts laissez-faire, deep down she does want to get to that next level, and if Rex doesn’t step up to the plate the worry is that she might lose interest.”

Rex Linn's Loved Ones Urging Him to Propose to Reba McEntire

Reba and Rex first met on the set of The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw in 1991. Nearly 30 years later, the pair reconnected when the Reba star made a guest appearance on Young Sheldon in 2020, and they began dating soon after.

Five years later, the couple is still going strong and celebrated their anniversary on January 24.

“Celebrating five years of tater tots this week! #thetots #anniversary,” Reba captioned a set of photos, referencing the sweet “Tot” nicknames they gave each other.

The “Fancy” singer once explained that Rex started calling her “Tater Tot” when they were out to dinner one night and went to a wine bar afterward. When a waiter told her about the appetizers, she raised her hand when he said they had tater tots.

“And so Rex said, ‘That’s your nickname from here on out: Tater Tot,’” Reba explained during a March 2023 appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show.

Reba also decided that she would call Rex “Sugar Tot.”

“We’re the tots, Sugar and Tater,” she continued. “So, we’ve been together ever since. He’s a sweetheart.”

Though Reba is leaving the ball in Rex’s court when it comes to getting engaged, a source previously told Closer in May 2024 that it’s definitely something she’s looking forward to.

“Reba never wanted to get divorced from Narvel, but she believes in second chances and feels she’s met her true soulmate in Rex,” the insider said. “She says getting married is ‘up to him’ but that’s code for ‘put a ring on it!’ She wants the fairy tale.”

Why Michael Bublé Just Said He “Hates” Christmas Music on The Voice

Michael Bublé jokingly channeling his Grinch vibes.

Michael Bublé is the king of Christmas music…but is he about to abandon his throne? Nah, he may be joking about the genre, but he’ll never let it go. The Voice Coach knows his voice is forever associated with the sounds of the holiday.

Why Michael Bublé Said He "Hates" Christmas Music on The Voice | NBC Insider

During a break between Artists in the third round of Blind Auditions for Season 27 of The Voice, fellow Coach John Legend opened up about his strategizing to topple current champion Bublé. Since Legend was gone last season, which was Bublé’s first, they are still getting to know each other’s schemes.

“I’m trying to learn your patterns of who you like,” said Legend, parsing through when Bublé does and doesn’t turn his chair around. “No man, there will be no pattern. I just hate Christmas music,” Bublé jokingly deadpanned.

The Canadian singer is well-known as a Christmas guy (check out his unique Christmas cocktail recipe here), and Legend joked he would like to see him branch out, suggesting, “we gotta explore other holidays. Halloween music. July fourth music.” Collab?

Bublé’s love of Christmas and music go together

“It’s funny, but when I was 6 or 7 years old, Christmas would come around and I loved it so much, but not because of the presents but for things like Bing Crosby’s White Christmas album,” Bublé told NST in 2009. “I just thought it was the coolest stuff in the world. By the time I hit 13, I’d been experimenting a lot and listening to different things, and my grandpa really helped ignite more of a flame. All I wanted to do was to learn more and more.” Thanks to the magic of technology, Bublé and Crosby performed a duet on NBC last year!

In 2011, Bublé released his best-selling album, Christmas, which included covers of classic holiday songs like “Santa Baby.” But one track almost didn’t make the final cut.

In a behind-the-scenes studio clip, Bublé shared that “Holly Jolly Christmas” was a product of a little extra studio time. “‘[The song] wasn’t even on the radar for us,” Bublé said. “We had just finished the recording session and we found out we had about 40 minutes left of studio time …  I kept sort of throwing out [different songs] and I said, well what about [‘Holly Jolly Christmas’]? Why don’t we just try it?”

And thank goodness he did! The song is a hit he continues to perform today. “The feeling was so good,” Bublé said of recording it. “It swung so hard and felt sort of rich and fun. It came out of nowhere, but sometimes that happens when you make a record.”

Behati Prinsloo ‘very upset’ over Adam Levine cheating claims: report

Pregnant Behati Prinsloo is reportedly “very upset” over the allegations that her husband, Adam Levine, cheated on her.

On Tuesday, Levine denied that he had an affair with anyone, insisting that he only “crossed the line” by engaging in “flirtatious” conversations.

“He admitted that he went behind [Prinsloo’s] back and has been inappropriate,” a source close to the Victoria’s Secret Angel told People Tuesday. “He admitted that he acted like an idiot. She is still very upset though.”

The insider claimed Prinsloo, 34, is “100 percent committed to her family” and added that Levine “is very understanding about her feelings.”

“He is trying his best to make things better,” the source said. “He never wants a divorce.”

Meanwhile, another insider told the outlet every marriage has “challenges” but that Levine “knows this was his mistake.”

“He is committed to Behati and wants to make things work,” the second informant claimed.

In his Instagram Story statement earlier Tuesday, the Maroon 5 frontman, 43, admitted that he “used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than [his] wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner” but did not name names.

“I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life,” he wrote, acknowledging that his interactions “in certain instances” were “inappropriate.”

Sumner Stroh told Page Six their alleged relationship got “physical.” sumnerstroh/Instagram
“I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family,” Levine claimed, going on to call his behavior “naive and stupid.”

Levine’s post came one day after Instagram model Sumner Stroh made headlines for claiming in a viral TikTok video that she had a year-long affair with the musician.

The 23-year-old claimed to Page Six that her alleged relationship with Levine — which she claims took place “last year” when she “graduated college in 2021” — was indeed “physical.”

Two other women have since come forward to accuse Levine of sending them flirty Instagram messages — Alyson Rosef and comedian Maryka — both of whom shared their alleged DMs with the “Girls Like You” crooner on social media.

“I’m now obsessed with you,” Levine allegedly wrote to another woman named Maryka. mvrykv/Instagram
Page Six has not verified the validity of the alleged DMs and has contacted both Rosef and Maryka.

Neither Levine nor Prinsloo have responded to our requests for comment.

The couple, who have been married since 2014, are parents to daughters Dusty Rose, 5, and Gio Grace, 4, and are currently expecting a baby boy.

According to Stroh, Levine recently came back into her life to ask her about naming his forthcoming son after her.

Before they dug into the interview, the hosts showed a clip from the new season of “The Voice,” in which Levine tries to convince a contestant to join his team.

The camera pans to Ballerini, who hits her chair button. Shelton’s voice is heard saying, “Adam’s a big baby.”

Ballerini says, “I had it for when I really needed some backup and I got it.” She presses the button again and Shelton says, “Adam won’t shut up” and “Adam, you say a lot of stupid stuff.”
