The unfiltered musician recounted the wince-inducing tale while chatting to country music legend Clint Black on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Thursday.

During the chat, Clint discussed an upcoming episode of his own talk show Talking In Circles, in which Sarah Evans talked about peeing during a gig.

“How many of us haven’t peed on stage?” he asked.

Kelly – who earlier admitted that she puts people off by giving TMI [too much information] – jumped at the chance to share her own anecdote.

“Well, I’ll tell you right now, there was one time – it wasn’t pee, my friend,” the candid Voice judge said.

“I got some kind of wrecked up from some kind of food. We were in an arena – and I shouldn’t tell this story, but like I said, my man, I don’t have a filter.

“I had to run backstage to my quick-change. I grabbed this poor trash can, and boy, I destroyed it.It was bad. It was bad, Clint!

“And we might have to edit this out, but I’m just saying, it happens. What are you supposed to do?”

With a deadpan expression on his face, Clint closed his eyes and clenched his fist, telling Kelly: “I’m just trying to visualize – hang on.”

This isn’t the first time Kelly has opened up about her personal life on her talk show, from recalling embarrassing injuries to past meltdowns.

Back in December, the American Idol alum admitted she’d hurt her knee after “running in heels” and turning a corner.

A month earlier, the star recounted the time she kicked down a door while babysitting her ex’s children because she was “freaking out”.

The Breakaway hitmaker has been struggling in personal life, having filed for divorce from Brandon Blackstock after seven years of marriage last June, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

The two were embroiled in a nasty battle over custody of their two children – River Rose, six, and Remington, four – as well as spousal support.

The Because Of You singer has described how “horrible” her divorce has been in interviews and on her show.

Sources claimed Kelly has been “sobbing uncontrollably” over their split and feels “so alone.”

An insider told OK! : “She’s not in the best place emotionally… One day, she just started crying uncontrollably. She felt so lost, so alone. That’s when she knew she’d hit rock bottom.”

She recently won primary custody of their two kids.

Brandon’s father, Narvel Blackstock, and his company, Starstruck Management, have claimed Kelly owe them $1.4 million from her earnings on The Voice.

The vocalist refuted the allegation, countering that Brandon and his father were a “fraudulent and subterfuge device” used to perform “illegal services” as managers and accused them of “defrauding her out of millions.”

Brandon denied Kelly’s claims in court documents filed in November, alleging that he doesn’t owe her anything.

The first live episode of the NBC competition took place Tuesday night and saw judges Kelly, 38, and Sofia – along with Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum – seated six-feet apart at an extended panel.

As the four superstar critics watched from the Warner Bros. backlot in Los Angeles, contestants either performed their acts virtually or around the famous set.

Taiwanese contestant Feng E rocked the quarterfinals with an electrifying mashup on the ukulele.

The 48-year-old Modern Family actress admitted she “hates” the instrument, but the 12-year-old’s performance of Linkin Park tunes impressed her.

“I could listen to you forever. It’s amazing what you can do with that instrument,” Sofia gushed before Howie asked “what instrument?”

“The ukulele,” the Emmy nominee repeated before Kelly laughed and said the word with an accent.

Once it was the pop star’s turn to review Feng E’s playing, she once again said “ukulele” with an emphasized accent along with a laugh – before admitting she “loves” Sofia.

Despite her costars mocking her voice, the Colombia native ignored the comments and maintained a serious expression on her face.

However, viewers of the show were not so quick to brush it off – as many called out the Stronger songstress for the move.

She continued: “But no worries, America, someone far wiser, cooler and hotter is taking his seat! The unbelievably amazing Kelly Clarkson.

Many Jeopardy! fans were left disappointed Monday evening due to an unexpected scheduling shakeup as the trivia gameshow was interrupted for a live NFL game

Many Jeopardy! fans were left outraged as 30 ABC markets were not able to view the new season 42 trivia gameshow episode at its usual time due to Monday Night Football.

During the Monday, Sept. 15 episode of Jeopardy!, contestants Ryan Sharpe, a student from Oakville, Ontario, Canada, Kelsi Tyler, a nonprofit program director from Austin, Texas, and Paolo Pasco, a puzzle writer originally from San Diego, California, all took the stage to compete in the trivia competition.

While the trio had a riveting round of trivia, many viewers were unable to tune in for the game as the time slot was allocated to the NFL game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Houston Texans. While long-time host Ken Jennings has made it clear he is an avid football fan himself, many fans were left disappointed by the scheduling shakeup.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one viewer wrote, “Football?! Doesn’t ESPN have an actual channel for that?!”

    NFL

And a second Jeopardy fan posted, “Goddamn football pre-empting #jeopardy.”

And another added, “I think there are many #Jeopardy viewers who want to scream SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND! at the #NFL.”

While someone else said, “#Jeopardy Monday NIGHT football at 7PM to preempt Jeopardy? Is there any clearer sign that the NFL is run by old guys when night starts this early?”

The account JeopardyBlindGuesser, a popular account that guesses the final clue to Jeopardy based solely on the category name, was also impacted by the scheduling changes, as they posted, “Jeopardy is preempted tonight by Monday Night Football on ABC. So no #Jeopardy tonight for us. Hopefully, we will be back tomorrow night.”

    Jeopardy!
Jeopardy time slots can be changed at the discretion of local stations

Meanwhile, one thankful viewer posted, “#jeopardy so luckily the show hr is on wplg so Florida 7pm no longer an abc channel. Other states abc you won’t have the shows due to football.”

While Jeopardy won’t be interrupted every single Monday, the program is often interrupted for important live football games and other breaking news such as dangerous weather. Because Jeopardy is a syndicated program, the local stations that air the show can change its schedule at their own discretion, making it different for fans living in various states across the U.S.

For those that were able to tune in, Ryan emerged victorious during the round and finished with a staggering total of $19,600 after answering 21 questions correctly and only missing one. In second place was Paolo with $16,800 and finally in last place was Kelsi with a total score of $8,200.

‘Jeopardy!’ Fans Are All Saying This About Questions on the Show

    Jeopardy! Productions Inc.

Jeopardy! fans are in agreement with one thing this season — the clues are getting noticeably harder. Fans have noticed this change has occurred over the past six years on the game show.

Jeopardy! getting harder. I know people have mentioned this a couple of times. At least in my anecdotal experience, the new season is noticeably harder than baseline. Especially in 2019, 2019 games seem so easy compared to today’s,” a Reddit user posted.

Many fans agreed with the original poster. “Agreed. I am curious as to how they’re setting these difficulties, though. Like how are they finding that sweet spot between past regular seasons’ difficulty but definitely below TOC difficulty,” one fan said.

“Completely agree. The questions now are impossible, and it takes some of the fun out of watching,” another wrote.

“Def feels harder as I’m currently rewatching Ken [Jennings‘] og run on Hulu and I’m getting probably 80% right compared with the current season where I’m probably more at like 30% idk it could just be the symptoms of brain rot tho,” a third wrote.

“Haven’t been tracking it as systematically as I could, but AFAIK, my Coryat average has dropped by at least 5K since the reruns currently airing on Game Show Network (so, ca. 2022),” a Reddit user said.

“I haven’t noticed a consistent difference in clue difficulty, but I do find those occasional days where I can only answer a few of the double jeopardy questions. I don’t recall even thinking about that until the last couple of seasons,” another commented.

“Since they stopped the 5-day limit, they wanted to make it harder to keep the long streaks from happening. It hasn’t worked,” one last fan said.

However, there were many fans on the other side of the argument. “Harder? They’ve been dumbing it down for 10 years at least,” one fan said.

“It seemed to me that it got easier during Covid when it was all local players,” another wrote.

    “…Not really?” said another.

From Underdog to Icon—The 29-Year Journey of Everybody Loves Raymond

29 Years Ago Today in CBS Debuts “Everybody Loves Raymond” Launching a Comedy Classic

Today marks the 29th anniversary of a milestone in television history: the premiere of the beloved sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond on CBS, which aired its first episode on September 13, 1996. The show, a cornerstone of 1990s and early 2000s television, became a cultural touchstone, delivering heartfelt humor and relatable family dynamics that resonated with millions of viewers. As we celebrate nearly three decades since its debut, the legacy of Everybody Loves Raymond continues to shine through syndication, streaming platforms, and the hearts of fans worldwide.

Created by Philip Rosenthal and inspired by the stand-up comedy and real-life experiences of star Ray Romano, Everybody Loves Raymond offered a fresh take on the domestic sitcom. The show centered on Ray Barone, a sportswriter living in Long Island, New York, navigating the comedic chaos of family life with his wife, Debra (Patricia Heaton), their three children, and his overbearing parents, Frank (Peter Boyle) and Marie (Doris Roberts), who live across the street.

Everybody Loves Raymond' First Episode 1996 Review

Ray’s older brother, Robert (Brad Garrett), a police officer with a penchant for dry humor and sibling rivalry, rounded out the ensemble. The series’ premise—balancing work, marriage, and meddling family members—struck a universal chord, blending sharp wit with heartfelt moments.

When Everybody Loves Raymond premiered in 1996, it faced a competitive landscape, airing on CBS’s Friday night lineup. Initially, the show struggled to find its audience, but critical acclaim and word-of-mouth praise led to a timeslot shift to Monday nights, where it flourished.

Over its nine-season run, from 1996 to 2005, the series produced 210 episodes, earning 15 Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series in 2003 and 2005. Standout performances by Doris Roberts and Brad Garrett earned them multiple Emmys, while Patricia Heaton and Peter Boyle also received widespread praise for their roles.

The show’s success stemmed from its grounded storytelling and universal themes. Unlike many sitcoms of the era, Everybody Loves Raymond avoided over-the-top gags, focusing instead on the mundane yet hilarious realities of family life—petty arguments, in-law tensions, and the small victories of parenthood.

Ray Romano’s everyman charm and the ensemble’s chemistry brought authenticity to the Barone family’s squabbles, making viewers feel as though they were eavesdropping on their own relatives.

Beyond its humor, the show tackled deeper issues, such as marital strain, aging parents, and sibling dynamics, with a light but poignant touch. Episodes like “The Angry Family” and “Marie’s Sculpture” remain fan favorites for their blend of comedy and emotional resonance. The series finale, aired on May 16, 2005, drew over 32 million viewers, a testament to its enduring appeal.

Today, Everybody Loves Raymond remains a staple in syndication and is available on streaming platforms like Peacock and Paramount+. Its influence is evident in modern family sitcoms, and its timeless humor continues to attract new generations. As we reflect on its debut 29 years ago, the Barone family’s chaotic, loving world reminds us why Everybody Loves Raymond is still everybody’s favorite.

The reunions at the 2025 Emmys kept coming.

After such team-ups as Parent Trap besties Lisa Ann Walter and Elaine Hendrix (on the red carpet), Gilmore Girls mother-daughter duo Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel, and Kathy Bates and Alan Cumming from the 1999 Annie TV musical, Ray Romano and Brad Garrett from Everybody Loves Raymond came back together on stage.

The pair, who played brothers Ray (Romano) and Robert Barone (Garrett) on the nine-season-long sitcom, presented Best Comedy Series — an award the show won twice during its run.

“For Brad and I, it’s an honor to present for Best Comedy Series. We were lucky enough to be on a show that won this award 20 years ago this month,” Romano said. “It’s a long time ago.”

“I thought I would’ve been back here sooner in some capacity,” Garrett said, joking, “I thought I would’ve worked more. Don’t think if you win tonight your life is gonna change!”

Garrett’s gag went full dark humor when he asked if he’d make the cut for the Emmys In Memoriam.

“If it’s a slow year, no doubt. No question,” Romano volleyed back.

In its history, Everybody Loves Raymond, created by Philip Rosenthal, received 15 Emmys and 69 total nominations, including for Romano, Garrett, and their colleagues Patricia Heaton, and Peter Boyle. The show first launched in 1996 and enjoyed nine seasons that culminated with a 2005 finale.

As recently as June, Romano and Heaton shot down any hopes anyone might have of seeing a series reboot one day.

“No, there won’t be a reboot,” Romano told New York Post while on the red carpet for a 30-year celebration of Everybody Loves Raymond at New York City’s Paley Museum.

“The obvious [answer] is: Peter [Boyle] and Doris [Roberts] and one of the kids, they’re no longer with us,” Romano pointed out. “We’re all heartbroken. They’re a big part of the show, the dynamic.”

“To try to do it again without the cast members that we’ve lost would be a disservice to the show,” Heaton added.

Season 26 of The Voice released its latest episode on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. The lineup of singers on the second night of the Battles was diverse, as they competed for a spot in the upcoming stages of the competition.

The coaches pitted two of their 14 acts against each other in a head-to-head face-off, reserving the better singer on their team while bidding farewell to the other. The eliminated singer would have to leave the show unless another coach decided to press their Steal button and bring the artist over to their team.

In the latest segment of The Voice, coach Michael Bublé paired Edward Preble with Mark Shiiba to battle on Louis Armstrong’s What a Wonderful World. After much deliberation, Michael saved Edward, bringing Mark’s journey on the show to an end. Mark left the competition series since none of the other coaches pressed their Steal button for him.

The Voice fans were unimpressed by the outcome of the battle. They took to X to criticize Michael for pairing two singers who sang completely different genres. They were upset to see Mark get eliminated, claiming he had potential he could not display.

“I think Bublé made a terrible decision to pair those two and have Mark sing that song. His voice is so right for rock ‘n’ roll. This just goes to show you Bublés inexperience as a judge,” a fan wrote.

“I like Mark’s voice and tone. It is so different and unique. I would pick him,” another fan commented.

“Exactly… Mark made my eyes cry, not the “easy” pick. Bubble took the easy way out,” a netizen tweeted.

Many fans of The Voice called out Michael for making Mark battle Edward, citing the incompatibility of their voices.

“Buble did Mark a disservice by paring him with Edward. Mark is a rocker through and through. Shame,” a user reacted.

“iight Buble. Don’t piss me off. Letting Mark go was stupid. He was the better singer. #TheVoice and the fact no one saved him is crazy!” a person commented.

“I think Mark and Edward was a bad matchup,” another fan wrote.

At the same time, some fans of The Voice were critical of Michael’s decision to eliminate Mark and keep Edward.

“Michael Buble must have seen the guy in the grey suit and must have been thinking, ‘Twin, where have you been?” ” a user tweeted.

“Mr. @MichaelBuble; I’m looking for different, sublime. Mark sang the Great Louie Armstrong, in his own special way, with his distinct voice, why let him go? I’m certain Mark can sing any genre,” another person reacted.

“These coaches are killing me with some of these choices. Mark should have absolutely made it through, not the kid with the fake voice,” one netizen commented.

“The vocals put me into a trance” — The Voice coach Snoop Dogg reacts to Mark Shiiba and Edward Preble’s Battles performance

Michael Bublé challenged himself by pairing two singers with distinctly different singing styles in the latest episode of The Voice. While Edward Preble sang tracks from the bygone era, dressed in suits to pay homage to the same, Mark Shiiba performed songs from the mid-century, channeling a more modern vibe.

The Voice coach stated that whoever could make him “feel the most” while singing Louis Armstrong’s What a Wonderful World, would be declared the winner. The duo surprised the coaches with their interpretations of the song, which differed dramatically.

Coach Snoop Dogg was captivated by their vocals, and said:

“As I closed my eyes, the vocals put me into a trance. I was going places with how you made your own.”

Coach Reba McEntire chimed in, applauding Edward and Mark for blending their different looks, styles, and vocals to make their performance “great.” She said she would choose Mark as the Battle’s winner because it was “just so refreshing to hear something totally out of the box.”

Coach Gwen Stefani praised Mark, impressed by his “unusual” yet “captivating” voice. She claimed he sounded “vintage in its own way.” While commenting on Edward’s vocals, The Voice coach said he did a “great job just really getting into it on stage.” She confessed she would “lean toward Edward” because he pricked her curiosity.

After much deliberation, Michael crowned Edward the winner of the Battle. He explained he chose Edward because he had “a lot of potential” and knew how to carry himself.

The fifth blind auditions saw the likes of Cameron Wright, Mark Shiiba and BEYA take to the stage.

And while the reality TV show is about those who audition, some fans think that Michael is doing too much attention-grabbing antics and is making it all about him.

One wrote on Reddit: “I am starting to dislike Michael Buble. Last show, I found myself talking to the tv, telling him to shut up every time he gave HIS on-and-on performance. He needs to learn that he’s not the star of the show; the performers are.”

They added: “The show is called THE VOICE not THE VOICE COACHES.”

Another confessed: “This is why we quit watching. I thought Kelly was bad, everything was about her. It’s getting worse.”

A fourth wrote: “This show has always been more about the coaches than about the performers. But I agree, I think this self absorbed behavior is what makes this show unwatchable at times. And this counts for most or all of the coaches – at least during the blinds.”

Michael has spoken out about his life experiences as a musician to many of those who have performed in front of the judges.

Previously he opened up about how he started his career.

Michael said: “I was 16/17 and I started playing in these weird clubs and no one ever paid to see me.

“My grandpa was a plumber and he used to trade free plumbing to the club owner and the musicians would let me in.”

Gwen Stefani slammed for ‘disturbing’ treatment of ‘terrified’ tiny kitten on The Voice premiere
In another time he said: “The cool part about this show is these four people are going to help you to emulate to take what you want.

“That’s what we do as artists, we take from our heroes, we stand on the soldiers of the people tat we love and then we find ourselves.

“I love that one of us is going to get to be apart of watching you find yourself through your love of different genres and artists.

“Thank you so much for coming to our show.”

Last night performer BEYA, from Kauai in Hawaii, performed Ruby & the Romantic’s song Our Day Will Come.

Despite her incredible voice, Michael decided to not turn around.

He then explained: “I was sitting here thinking, ‘I love her voice, but can she be versatile?

“‘What she’s gonna be like with R&B or pop or country?’ And I couldn’t talk myself into going, ‘Yeah, she’ll be able to do that!’

“Now, here’s what’s gonna happen: You are gonna prove me completely wrong … and I will flog myself for this.”

However the singer was completely wrong about her.

BEYA told the camera before her performance: “Being a bilingual artist in Hawaii is hard to come by.

“I’m a full-time musician and I have to play some kind of Latin music at every gig. The crowd loves it; it’s a really sweet treat.

“Usually, I perform in intimate settings and now I’m about to step onto the biggest stage that I’ve ever sang on in my life.

“I would love to do a Latin song on the show, but my go-to genre is soul and R&B.”

Michael joined The Voice this year.
