Steve Harvey Accuses Contestant of Hitting Him—The Family Feud Moment That Broke the Internet

Steve Harvey is usually friendly with “Family Feud” contestants even after he roasts them over silly answers. But he probably doesn’t like being touched by people most of the time, and definitely doesn’t appreciate someone hitting him. The seasoned host once accused a player of hitting him after a slight tap from her. The contestant immediately gave a sincere apology, but it was a light-hearted moment and everyone on set burst into laughter. The contestant was still able to win big despite the awkward turn of events.

It happened in a Fast Money round, and the Badger family had the chance to win $20,000. During this round, Harvey asks a couple of contestants from the family the same five survey questions. The objective is for the two to get a combined score of 200 to win the $20,000. However, no two answers can be the same, and there is a tight time limit for both contestants.

First to answer the questions was a man named Moe. He had to answer five questions in 20 seconds. The first question asked what one would buy at an airport before getting on a plane. Moe said water. Then he was asked a fill-in-the-blank, which read, “Cash ___.” The contestant answered, “Cow.” The next question was about the age when a kid becomes too old to have a teddy bear, and the contestant said five.

Harvey then asked Moe which bug he’d hate to see on his couch. The contestant said roach. The final question asked the contestant for the name of a popular baseball team from New York, and the contestant gave the Yankees as the answer. It was then time to see how many points Moe had won. Despite a slow start, he had done quite well for himself as he got 145 points for the team.

The second contestant for this round was Nia. However, she had broken a rule by giving a high-five to Moe. When Harvey asked why she did that, she said that she saw 140-plus points he’d gotten. As the host reprimanded her for breaking a rule, the contestant tapped him on the arm, which led to the hilarious turn of events.

“You ain’t supposed to be looking back at the board…who are you hitting?” Harvey said. As Nia apologized, the host could not help but laugh at the situation. She proved to be a highly competent performer as she capitalized on the advantage that Moe had given her and easily won $20,000 by getting to 200 points even before the last answer was revealed.

Drew Carey vs. Kane? The WWE Showdown That No One Saw Coming

‘Price is Right’ host Drew Carey once showed up on WWE in an epic crossover no one saw coming

Drew Carey has made a name for himself hosting “The Price is Right” over the years but not a lot of people are aware of his stint in the wrestling ring. Back in 2001, World Wrestling Federation (previously called WWF) was just coming out of its “Attitude Era” which made it it the most popular program on television at the time. So when Carey decided to put together his own all-stars pay-per-view, it was no surprise that he sought WWE’s help with promoting it.

It was a win-win situation for both Carey and WWE as its chairman Vince McMahon never shied away from collaborating with celebrities outside the world of professional wrestling as per The Sportser. The list included eminent names like Cyndi Lauper, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and many more. It was eventually decided that Carey would be a part of the 2001 Royal Rumble.
Screenshot of Drew Carey interacting with WWE fans. (Image source: YouTube | WWE)Screenshot of Drew Carey interacting with WWE fans. (Image source: YouTube | WWE)
The interactions with other wrestlers started being recorded and telecast long before the host made his way to the ring. One especially funny segment was when the “Price is Right” host came face-to-face with Kane in the locker room. He said that he was also a professional wrestler, a statement that the “big red machine” did not seem to take too kindly before walking off.

Lasted Longer in the Rumble Than Expected

Fast forward to the match and Carey was watching on as Jeff and Matt Hardy fought each other. Both Hardys were eliminated and the game show host was left alone in the ring. Despite not laying a hand on anyone, he started celebrating in an empty ring. However, the joy was short-lived as the timer counted down to zero, and out came Kane. After a few moments the “big red machine” had his hand guzzled around Carey’s throat for his signature “choke slam.” Thankfully before any serious physical harm was inflicted, Raven came rushing to the ring and inadvertently saved Carey. The entire segment made the fans in attendance and at home burst out in laughter.

The 66-year-old at one point offered money to Kane to not do him any harm. The towering wrestler slapped the cash away without a second thought. After Raven came to his rescue, Carey decided that he’d had enough. Therefore, in a feat of decent athleticism, jumped over the top rope and eliminated himself from the event.

Inducted into the Prestigious WWE Hall of Fame

It’s safe to say that he entertained a lot of wrestling fans that day and they reciprocated positively. In fact, it was so good that the company decided to induct the “Price is Right” host into the Hall of Fame. Some fans argue if Carey deserved such an honor considering he was in the ring for only one night. However, the business of pro wrestling works in unconventional ways.

The “Price is Right” host is part of a list of celebs that includes larger-than-life personalities like Snoop Dogg, Arnold Schwarzenegger, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, Mr. T, Mike Tyson, and the President of the United States, Donald Trump, who have all appeared on WWE.

Sheinelle Jones returns to Today for first time since husband’s death: ‘My heart was shattered in a million pieces’

TODAY Show’s Sheinelle opened up about her husband Uche Ojeh’s death on her first day back on air after her family’s heartbreaking loss.

The beloved Today anchor sat down for an interview in which she opened up to fellow host Savannah Guthrie about the emotionally challenging time she and her family endured during her leave from the show.

Sheinelle, 47, who has been absent from Today since December of last year to support her family during her late husband Uche Ojeh’s courageous battle with brain cancer, returned to her regular hosting duties on Friday.

Tragically, Uche passed away in May at the age of 45, leaving behind their three children: her 16-year-old son Kayin and 13-year-old twins, Clara and Uche.

In Today’s emotional sit-down interview, Savannah first asked Sheinelle how she is doing.

“You start with the hardest question. In this moment, I’m okay, day to day, I’m okay from a macro picture… how am I doing?

“My heart is shattered. My heart is shattered in a million pieces. The life that I’ve known since I was 19 is no more,” she said.

“I’ve always wanted kids, and I have three kids of my own now, and they’ve lost their dad and I’m their mom. It sucks. So how am I doing? You know, it’s day to day. I’m proud of myself for how I’ve done so far.”

“I’m proud of my kids for how we’ve been able to try to pull through. But it’s, it’s horrible, it’s just horrible. I’m here, I’m breathing and I’m okay, I’m okay. It’s a nightmare,” she said.

Savannah then asked Sheinelle about a phrase she’s used over the past several months.

“You’ve said to me a lot over these months, sometimes it’s a ‘beautiful nightmare,’ and when you say that, what do you mean?” Savanna asked.

“Everybody knows by now, Uche and I were college sweethearts,” Sheinelle explained before describing their dorm’s gorgeous view of the clock tower at Northwestern.

She said she and Uche would “just talk and dream, and sometimes just not talk and fast-forward almost 30 years.

“I’m sitting in this beautiful, beautiful hospital room, and we were looking at this beautiful view in New York City.

Today anchor Sheinelle Jones’ husband Uche Ojeh dead at 45 after health battle
“Here we are, again not talking, and I remember staring at the window, and I’m like, Oh my God, it’s this crazy full circle moment. Here we are again, not talking, and it feels like a beautiful nightmare,” she said poignantly.

Sheinelle said when he was first diagnosed, she believed Oche would pull through.

“I had my faith, and you couldn’t tell me that he wasn’t going to beat it, I believed that he was going to be okay.

“I knew it was going to be tough, but we all believed he would be fine – and I got to that place where I didn’t know what tomorrow would bring.”

She explained it was the uncertainty of day-to-day, as her husband’s cancer progressed, that she decided to step away from the Today Show back in December.

“When I decided to take a leave, that was why, because I didn’t know what tomorrow would bring, and I was starting to feel like I didn’t want to miss it. I didn’t want to look back.

“I wanted to be strong and I wanted to look back and know that I was strong, but I didn’t want to be so strong that I missed this blessing right in front of me.

“That I missed the fight, that I missed the beauty in the fight, that I missed just looking in his eyes because I was his oxygen,” she added.

Sheinelle also said that she struggled with her faith during his battle, but that it was her faith that ultimately pulled her through.

    ON HER FAITH THROUGH GRIEF

“I can easily understand why, when people go through something like this, they turn away from their faith,” she said.

The veteran journalist said she had prayed for her job at Today since she was in the fifth grade, and that she would think “You got me all the way here, and you take my….” she said, through tears.

She continued, “Are you kidding me? Like, really? What did I do? Why me? There can’t be a god. Like, no way a guy would do that to somebody like Sheinelle. There’s no way, right?”

The journalist said, however, watching her husband keep his faith helped her, too.

“I watched him in his toughest moments; his faith is what gave him peace. And so I think, okay, if Uche can have faith when his life is on the line, surely I can, and surely we all can.”

She also explained that Uche was extremely private, and despite her job being in the spotlight, he didn’t want to share his battle with cancer publicly, and so she honored his wishes by not sharing his battle till now.

    ON GRIEF

She also said that having three children to be strong for has made the grieving process all the more complicated.

“There are times where if I could just stay in bed, keep the door closed, not answer my phone and just sit it would be amazing. I can’t do that because I have three little beings who are watching me.

“No one gives you a manual on grief, and there really are no rules about it. It comes at unexpected times and places.”

Sheinelle beautifully explained “Grief is like wave, and what I’ve told my kids, the rain can’t last forever.

“So when the rain comes, in some ways, I’ve learned to just look up at the rain and let it be a cleansing rain, and let it clear the air, so I don’t run away from crying anymore.

“When it comes to grief, I see it as like, okay, here comes my cleansing rain, and it’s okay,” she said.

Sheinelle said it is her duty to honor her husband by finding joy again in life.

“So if you see me now, you see me laughing and you turn on the morning show and I’m laughing or having a good time, you root for me because I’m fighting for my joy.”

Today then cut to Sheinelle live with her co-anchors together, and she profusely thanked her morning show family.

She also credited the doctors, who she called a dream team at New York University Hospital, as well as Hudson Valley Hospice, which took such great care of not only Uche but also Sheinelle and her children at the end.

Sources have previously noted that the Today team “has been extremely supportive” of the beloved journalist during her time away as she navigated this heartbreaking loss.

The news of Sheinelle’s return was revealed on Tuesday, as the veteran journalist’s co-anchors made the announcement on air.

Savannah said, “This Friday, our beloved Sheinelle will be returning to the show.

“She and her family have been through so much after the devastating loss of her husband Uche.”

    HEARTBREAKING TRAGEDY

On 23 May, Sheinelle’s Today colleagues tearfully announced that her husband of 17 years, Uche Ojeh, had passed away following a brave and private battle with brain cancer.

“With profound sadness, we share this morning that Uche Ojeh, the husband of our friend and Today co-host Sheinelle Jones, has passed away after a courageous battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer called glioblastoma,” Savannah told viewers.

“There are no words for the pain we feel for Sheinelle and their three young children.

“Uche was an incredible person. We all loved him.”

Now that Sheinelle is back at the anchor desk, there is a chance her responsibilities may change.

    NEW ROLE?

As The U.S. Sun previously exclusively revealed first back in February and again earlier this week, the anchor is being eyed for a job that would see her helm the fourth hour of Today alongside Jenna Bush Hager.

The beloved anchor is a favorite among show staff and execs to fill the late morning spot, which was vacated by Hoda Kotb when she stepped away from the morning show in January.

Sources now reveal that with her official return, Sheinelle is being strongly considered as Hoda’s permanent replacement alongside Jenna on what is currently titled Today With Jenna and Friends.

An insider shared that Sheinelle is the ideal fit for the show, which is currently being co-hosted by the less-experienced Jenna.

Execs are also said to be looking at NBC’s own Willie Geist, and popular podcaster and actor Matt Rogers.

    LIFE ON HOLD

While Sheinelle privately handled she and her family’s grieving, her book release was delayed twice.

The Today host’s book, Through Mom’s Eyes, is now set to be officially released on 10 February 2026, according to publisher Penguin Random House.

Originally, the book was slated for release on 15 April 2025 but was later rescheduled to 21 October.

Sheinelle spoke with the mothers of Lady Gaga, Jessica Simpson, The Jonas Brothers, Venus and Serena Williams, and several other famous figures for the book.

A TODAY host has said goodbye to the show as her colleagues, including Jenna Bush Hager share sweet messages.

Since Hoda’s exit from Today, Jenna has had a new guest host join her on the show each week.

As well as Jenna and her co-host each day, there has been a mainstay on-air contributor who often brightens the days of Today’s viewers.

Donna Farizan has been an on-air contributor on Today for many years, and has worked at the company for over 12 years.

But she sadly revealed on Monday’s episode of Jenna & Friends that she would be departing the show and the company once and for all.

She explained how she would be pursuing other professional opportunities after more than a decade with the iconic show.

In the caption of a post bidding Donna farewell, which was shared by the Jenna & Friends Instagram account, it read, “Today we say goodbye to our incredible friend, Donna.

“She’s brought us joy, heart, and unforgettable stories. Wishing her nothing but success and love on her next chapter.”

And in one of the videos shared, Donna thanked viewers for growing up with her, while saying how she hopes they will follow her on her journey.

    FANS SHARE WELL WISHES

One person wrote in the comments quizzed, “Why is Donna leaving? She’s awesome.”

    “Loved watching Donna,” said another.

    FOURTH HOUR SHAKEUP

This comes after The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed that Sheinelle Jones is to officially replace Hoda as Jenna’s co-host after she’s back from family leave.

According to a source, Sheinelle, 46, “has the job” but added how there will not be an announcement until after her leave of absence has ended.

She had been away from Today since December 2024, before returning to the show last week.

Sheinelle suffered a devastating loss in her life earlier this year when he husband Uche Ojeh’s sadly died.

Tragically, Uche passed away in May at the age of 45, leaving behind their three children: her 16-year-old son Kayin and 13-year-old twins, Clara and Uche.

Uche had a courageous battle with brain cancer before his sad death.

Sheinelle returned to her regular hosting duties on Today on September 5.

It is not known if Sheinelle will definitely take over from Hoda’s role alongside Jenna for the fourth hour of Today – but she is being considered.

Sources now reveal that with her official return, Sheinelle is being strongly considered as Hoda’s permanent replacement, and is an ideal fit for the show, which is currently being co-hosted by the less-experienced Jenna.

Jeopardy!’s streaming debut date finally revealed as fans are thrilled Peacock arrival is ‘so soon’

JEOPARDY! has finally revealed when it will debut on Peacock, and fans couldn’t be happier about the move.

The popular game show, along with Wheel of Fortune, struck up a deal with the streamer, and their release date is closing in fast.

Earlier this summer, it was reported that the long-running programs were planning to stream in-season episodes for the first time on Hulu, Peacock, and Hulu on Disney+.

This wasn’t an option before, with both shows previously only available on broadcast TV.

However, in an effort to reach a wider audience, Sony Pictures Television signed a multi-year deal to make them viewable on national streamers beginning September 9.

    BIG DEBUT

Peacock announced earlier this week on social media that streaming would begin just after Labor Day, one day following Jeopardy!’s Season 42 and Wheel of Fortune’s Season 43 premieres.

The news circulated on an online forum where fans expressed their excitement over the streamers’ new addition.

“Omg I can finally watch Jeopardy!!!” one person commented.

“Welp guess I’m subscribing,” someone else wrote.

“Thank God, I won’t have to watch janky YouTube bootleg stream anymore,” a third remarked.

Jeopardy! is hosted by former champion Ken Jennings, and Wheel of Fortune by Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White.

    MAJOR CHANGES

Fans have already been gearing up for some significant changes to the Jeopardy! gameboard that will shake up the upcoming season.

Jeopardy! Season 42: New Set Pieces and Controversial Changes Revealed
Earlier this month, The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed that while the show’s general format will remain the same, producers plan to spice things up a little bit.

This would include new set pieces and potentially an increase in sponsored categories, according to an insider.

The latter hasn’t been a hit with viewers, as many have complained that the sporadic pop-ups “take away” from the strategic gameplay.

However, production has been spending the last few weeks since Season 41 ended to perfect things going forward.

    Jeopardy! Set Secrets

Jeopardy! fans don’t see everything behind the scenes from watching on TV. These hidden set features make the show run smoothly:

Each podium has a hidden riser so that all contestants appear to be the same height.
After each clue is read, signal lights go off around the game board, indicating players can buzz in and respond.
Buzz in too early, and you’re locked out for .25 seconds.
The podiums have a small white light in the lower left corner, which tells Ken Jennings who goes next.
Contrary to popular belief, the player with control doesn’t have a buzzer advantage on the next clue.
To the game board’s left is a scoreboard so the players can see their opponents’ scores.
All contestants must bring three outfits to the studio, but only the host and returning champion change for the next episode.
There are wardrobe rules, including restrictions on busy patterns, solid white, purple (like the background), and logos.
Five episodes are taped in a single day, and sometimes more.
The categories, players (aside from the returning champion), and Final Jeopardy! for a tape day are all drawn randomly to ensure fairness.
Female contestants are asked not to wear makeup, which is applied backstage, and don’t wear mascara because of sweat.
Contestants fill out a questionnaire, and producers select five Q&A topics for the host.
Host Ken isn’t allowed to interact with the contestants until after the game.
Players can request to sit in a chair while competing without question.

The season concluded with Scott Riccardi’s 16-day winning streak being broken by opponent Jonathan Hugendubler.

Jeopardy! hasn’t aired any new episodes since the July 25 finale, a rare occurrence for the game show, as it has remained on hiatus.

In the meantime, production for Season 42 has been underway, and fans can breathe a little easier knowing the next season’s premiere is closing in.

Trivia legend Ken Jennings, 51, took a break from hosting Jeopardy! to perform on the season opener alongside Matt Damon, 54.

Together, the stars were able to make it all the way to the end and scored the $1 million prize for water.org.

More recently, Oscar winner Helen Hunt and her Hacks co-star Dan Bucatinsky made their best effort to win the seven-figure check for the charity of their choice.

The pair did not have as seamless a time rolling through all the questions as Ken and Matt, and they struggled during one tense moment that didn’t make it to air.

According to an eye-witness, Helen and Dan grappled for “well over 10 minutes” with a single question – leading to long awkward silences on set.

“The ‘Judicial handshake’ is a U.S. Supreme Court tradition in which all nine justices shake hands with each other, for a total of how many handshakes?” host Jimmy asked.

    The answer options given were: A) 18, B) 25, C) 36, and D) 57.

Both Helen and Dan took issue with the math it took to solve the equation.

Their inability to answer the question led to long pauses and tense moments of silent on set, according to an eyewitness.

The insider claimed that at one point, the audience was getting so frustrated with their inability to give an answer, there were “groans” coming from the crowd.

After a few more minutes, the source said the silence got even quieter – and you could “hear a pin drop” on set.

During a moment of intense focus and complete silence, Dan was seen jumping out of his seat after he was startled by a loud bang that was heard on set.

Jimmy immediately tried to calm Dan down and assured him that the unexpected noise was the air conditioning unit.

After a moment of pausing to reassess following the interruption, the trio continued to play the game – though Dan and Helen were still unsure of their answer.

They ended up asking the audience, of which an overwhelming 74% answered that the number for the judicial handshake would be C) 36.

The answer was correct, and their hopes of making it to the end lived on.

Although they moved on to the next question, their winning streak soon ended.

Still, the actors were able to take home $125,000 for the St. Joseph Center and the Trevor Project.

Jimmy was first tapped to host Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?’s revival in 2020.

He returned again in 2021 to lead the show; however, the ABC game show took a break and remained off the air in 2022 and 2023.

It has been revealed that John Quinn is taking on additional duties as showrunner and executive producer of the much loved show.

Viewers can expect an exciting variety of specially themed episodes in the show’s new season.

Themes will include Breast Cancer Awareness, Valentine’s Day, Pet Adoption Week, Mother’s Day, and School’s Out.

On top of that, show host, Drew Carey will introduce a brand new pricing game for the CBS game show.

The new season is slated for September this year reports Deadline.

However, last year, The Price is Right faced backlash when the show didn’t acknowledge the one-year anniversary of its former host Bob Barker’s death on its social media accounts.

Bob died on August 26, 2023, at 99 years old.

He hosted the show for 35 years before retiring in 2008 and passing his microphone to fan favourite Drew.

The U.S. Sun revealed in May that Drew was the life of the party as he danced and chatted up women until 6 am at an EDM music festival.

Exclusive photos and video footage showed Drew, 66, laughing and flirting with delighted female fans at the Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas.

Price is Right host Drew Carey left stunned after contestant wins thousands in ‘hardest’ and ‘most-hated’ segment
Drew was filmed draping his arms around a mystery blonde as they beamed and took photographs together surrounded by revelers in the wee hours of Monday, May 19.

An eyewitness told The U.S. Sun, “Many people were shocked to see Drew in the crowd, especially considering his age, but he was the life and soul of the event.

“He seemed to be having the best time, dancing and laughing with a group of friends all night.

“Plenty of women were going up to him and flirting, he appeared to enjoy the attention and was very friendly.”

Drew, who has hosted The Price Is Right since 2007, is believed to be single. He has been engaged twice but never married.

His ex-fiancee, therapist Dr. Amie Harwick, was murdered in 2020 by her ex-boyfriend, Gareth Pursehouse.

The game show host revealed at the time, he is not seriously dating as he continues to process the loss but expressed being able to “finally move on” after Harwick’s murderer was convicted and sentenced.

Drew was seen in April on what appeared to be a date with Niki Skyler, an OnlyFans creator, at Swingers Diner in West Hollywood.

John Quinn said of his new role as showrunner for The Price Is Right: “It’s the show we all watched during summer break and when we were home sick from school.

“This show is a major reason why I work on game shows in the first place, so to be a part of it now is an honor that I do not take lightly.

“I am beyond grateful and still pinching myself!

“From the second I came on board I have felt at home, and that is a testament to the spectacular staff and crew who have been making this show a staple of American television for 53 years. What a delight!”

JEOPARDY! host Ken Jennings has taken fans by surprise after making an unexpected wisecrack about “nepo babies” in the middle of the game.

The game show champ made the joke during Thursday night’s episode.

It happened while returning champ Paolo Pasco battled to secure a two-game winning streak after defeating Ian Morrison the day before.

He competed against Andy Miller, a math professor from Nashville, Tennessee, and Jill Frechette, a research analyst originally from West Boylston, Massachusetts.

Paolo held an impressive lead throughout most of the game, despite Andy having a strong start.

Andy put himself in a comfortable position in the first round, entering Double Jeopardy! with $8,600, compared to Paolo’s $6,600 and Jill’s $1,200.

Paolo continued to add to his earnings from there, taking both Double Jeopardy!’s in the second round, finishing with $34,400 vs. Andy’s $12,200.

But before the round was over, Ken surprised viewers when he interrupted the game to make a silly remark, referencing the answer to one trivia question.

“The daughter of this high flyer of the 1960s became director of the Kremlin State Museum,” the question read.

Quick with the buzzer, Paolo answered correctly with Yuri Gagarin, which prompted Ken to interject.

“Yeah, they had nepo babies in the USSR, apparently,” the TV star joked.

The audience giggled at Ken’s comment, and they moved on to the rest of the round.

Jeopardy! host Ken Jennings drops VERY adult joke while cameras roll in rare behind-the-scenes look at show filming
Paolo and Andy went head-to-head in Final Jeopardy! after Jill was eliminated when she was unable to get out of the hole.

She finished the game with a loss of -$400.

Spelling mattered for Final Jeopardy!, where each contestant was tasked with correctly spelling the winning word at the first Scripps National Spelling Bee, a plant and genus with sword-shaped leaves now on the trophy.

Paolo and Andy both answered incorrectly; however, Paolo’s conservative wager of only $204 didn’t hurt his chances, and he nabbed the victory.

    Jeopardy! Set Secrets

Jeopardy! fans don’t see everything behind the scenes from watching on TV.

Paolo ended with $34,196 and a two-day total of $54,197.

The San Diego, California, native will vie to continue his streak on Friday against two new competitors.

Season 42 of Jeopardy! kicked off on Monday, and so far, no one has garnered more than a 2-day consecutive victory.

Former champ Jonathan Hugendubler was pegged to be a major contender to beat after winning the Season 41 finale episode earlier this summer, and then the Season 42 premiere.

However, he lost to Ian in a devastating upset on Tuesday.

Ian then took over and became a competitor to watch, until Paolo ended his short run on Wednesday.

Blake Shelton Refuses to Take Gwen Stefani’s Side in Her Feud With ‘The Voice’ Costar Reba McEntire: Insider

Though the upcoming season of The Voice marks the first time Blake Shelton won’t be on the show, he’s still being dragged into the series’ drama thanks to wife Gwen Stefani.

According to a source, the “Hollaback Girl” singer isn’t on the best terms with new coach Reba McEntire, someone who happens to be good friends with Shelton.

Source: megaGwen Stefani and Blake Shelton first struck up a romance after meeting on the set of ‘The Voice.’

“Reba has a very outgoing personality and can suck the air out of a room. Gwen doesn’t feel like she has a chance to shine the way she wants,” the source told a news publication. “They taped the blind auditions and battle rounds in July, and you could tell Gwen was less than thrilled playing second fiddle to Reba.”

Source: megaThis will be Reba McEntire’s first time as a coach on ‘The Voice.’

And while Shelton would usually be in the blonde beauty’s corner, he refuses to try and help Stefani take down the Reba star due to his camaraderie with the actress.

“Blake worships the ground Reba walks on,” the insider said. “She’s been such a career inspiration for him.”

“In most cases, Blake goes out of his way to not ruffle Gwen’s feathers, but he’s told her he isn’t going to stand for her to be anything less than polite and kind to Reba or she’s gong to be living in a house of discontent,” noted the source of Shelton being caught in the crosshairs.

As OK! reported, the couple is allegedly the midst of some other disagreements, including over the possibility of filming a reality show.

“Gwen is furious. She can’t believe he won’t get on board with this idea!” one insider told an outlet.

“[Her fans] want to see more of her life and she thinks a little docuseries could be so cute,” the insider noted of why the blonde beauty is eager to have cameras around. “She knows they want to see her home life with Blake, what their lives are like on the farm in Oklahoma.”

“They go back and forth about it all the time — because Gwen is NOT letting this go,” the insider spilled. “Blake is digging in his heels because he’s sick of being henpecked. He’s already feeling smothered. The last thing he needs is another commitment with her!”

National Enquirer reported on Shelton’s feelings over Stefani and McEntire’s feud.

Gwen Stefani’s Rumored Feud With Reba McEntire Resurfaces Ahead of Her Fall Return to The Voice

With Gwen Stefani heading back to The Voice for Season 26 in the fall, fans just knew that the feud rumors between her and Reba McEntire would heat up again. That’s exactly what is happening ahead of the new season after the country star settled in nicely into her second season as a coach, which just happened to be the season that Stefani skipped.

    Gwen Stefani and Reba McEntire

“During the last season, Reba really found her groove and an in with the bosses, her fellow coaches and the audience and became a behind-the-scenes mentor herself, but don’t let that maternal side fool you,” a source told Life & Style. They go on to claim that she’s “extremely competitive” and that may rub off on her working relationship with the “Hollaback Girl” singer. The insider claimed that McEntire is “letting Gwen know that she’s in charge.”

What makes this reported rift so fascinating is that the 69-year-old Nashville star took over Blake Shelton’s seat when he exited after Season 23 — yep, Stefani’s husband. For years, Shelton was managed by McEntire’s former husband Narvel Blackstock of Starstruck Entertainment, so they developed a friendly relationship over the years, but the women reportedly didn’t strike that same chord. “Gwen doesn’t feel like she has a chance to shine the way she wants,” a RadarOnline source said in September 2023.

However, Stefani had nothing but lovely things to say about the country queen in an October 2023 appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show. “It feels surreal when you look over and you see her there because she’s just such an icon,” Stefani gushed to Hudson. “And it’s like, that’s her. Like, I’m next to her, and that voice is coming out, and we’re doing this. It was a pretty surreal moment. Beyond a bucket list, because it’s like, you just never would think that that would happen in your life.”

Gwen Stefani fans claim she's 'serving looks' better than rival Reba McEntire on The Voice as she poses in black dress | The US Sun

McEntire also has a great reputation in Hollywood, so it seems like the feud rumors don’t hold a lot of weight. Stefani wouldn’t come back to The Voice if the atmosphere behind the scenes with McEntire was that bad. And of course, the country sweetheart praised the entire cast during her first season on the NBC show. “Everybody knows the game plan, from the crew, the producers. Everybody on the show is so nice, so sweet, and have been so helpful. I’m loving it,” she told Newsweek. McEntire and Stefani are going to be just fine together.
